Systober Day 14: In-sys/Out-sys Couple

Since we've done multiple entries for some of the days already, we'll be doing both an in-sys and out-sys pairing for today!

In-sys: Light and Elaine

Light and Elaine are both introjects from Death Note; Light being an introject of Light Yagami, and Elaine being an introject of L. Both of them are 18 and don't age within the system. While there certainly are a few relationships within our system, these two are one of the pairings that have been together the longest.

Light (he/kira/killer) is only slightly similar to his source. He's usually pretty apathetic and doesn't care for most people. The only people kira truly cares about are those in our system that kira's extremely close to; those being Elaine, Vivian, and Izuru. Other than those three, he couldn't care less about anyone. Though, some people that Vivian or Izuru are close to get a small amount of appreciation by proxy.

Elaine (they/he) is almost the exact opposite. They have a high amount of empathy, and are at least slightly close with everyone in the system. He's especially close with Shuichi (not August, different Shuichi introject), and they often bond over their experiences as detectives. In fact, Elaine is close with quite a few of our Danganronpa introjects.

Light and Elaine started out having a very interesting relationship. They acted like they hated each other, yet Light turned his entire closet into a small living space specifically for Elaine to stay in. Before they officially started dating, they treated each other like that kind of best friend that you annoy the hell out of just because you can. Once they became official, the only difference is that now they annoy each other by being consistently clingy with one another.

Out-sys: Jasper and Clover

Jasper and Clover were the very first relationship that developed between us and our qpp system! They're both super sweet and a little bit cringe /aff. Jasper is one of our Hajime Hinata introjects, and Clover is one of our qpp system's Nagito Komaeda introjects. A match made in heaven, I know /silly

Jasper (he/him) first split several months ago, and Clover (he/him) was one of the first people he talked to outside of our system. Jasper has a metric fuck ton of social anxiety and paranoia, which caused him to latch onto Clover during his first few weeks as an alter. Clover helped give him something familar that could keep him grounded, and the two remained close ever since.

Jasper did eventually grow close to some others within our system (one of which being a Dazai introject, funnily enough), but he does still struggle with both his and our collective anxiety. He is getting better, one small step at a time.
