i know my friends dont do this on purpose but i really hate when they just suddenly start texting on the groupchat we're on and suddenly talk about people they think are 'hot' or talking about their hear me outs. even talking about their relationships and i dont even bother talking on there much anymore. again, i know its not their fault- but it hurts because i can never relate to them anymore. im arospec and they arent. they can try their best to support me but they dont know how it really feels.

I really like how Disco Elysium's ""good ending"" is fucking terrifying in the sense that Harry can still be a drug addict, alcoholic, racist violent cop and still get his job back as long as he can hold a gun, his plate and he's able to interrogate a senile man. if you don't play that way its still something they would do

Even Kim defending you is horrible too, from Harry's pov is a beautiful act but it just proves how one bad apple spoils the rest. Kim can be a good cop but when the time comes he will defend his partners above everyone else

Like, black swans *black swan theory* symbolizes in literature and stuff a big change, twist, betrayal, or a surprising development. And than there’s Cora’s whole time as a spy before revealing himself to Law (twist!) and running away and betraying Doffy in the process (betrayal!), before he winds up double crossing the marines too (betrayal/unexpected development!) and his whole life for the time he had known Law was just unexpected reveal after another.

Another thing is that black swans were assumed to not exist by the Romans, the ppl who created most of the sayings and symbolism around these birds. Like how for much of Doflamingo’s life he had lived assuming that his brother was dead, thus no longer existing.

And once ppl realized that there IS such a thing as black swans, sometime in the 1600’s I think, the phrases where changed to reflect times when peoples ideas and systems of thinking are proven wrong by the mere existence of an unknown trait. Similar in my mind to the assumption that just about everyone in the Donquixote family had that Corazon was a clumsy, stupid, grunt who’s only real reason to be kept around beside his relation to Doflamingo was his unwavering loyalty to his brother. Literally every trait listed here became disproven once Corazon dropped his cover and proved himself to be highly intelligent, rigorously trained marine who was strongly opposed to much of his brother’s actions. (Admittedly the clumsiness wasn’t MUCH of an act).

Black swans are also known to be birds who are incredibly protective of their young, willing to fight another animal to the death in order to protect their chicks. God I’m going insane enough that I can’t tell how much of a reach all this stuff is.

And while this isn’t a BLACK swan, I also find there to be parallels between Corazon and MUTE swans for some pretty obvious reasons. Obviously there’s the whole mute thing linking them, but I also think that the fact that neither Corazon nor a mute swan is actually mute. Mute swans are generally quieter than most other swans, but they DO make their own calls, sorta like Corazon’s fake muteness.

And than there’s the whole phrase “a swan song”, meaning something or someone’s last performance, greatest achievement, or final battle of sorts. My mushy brain looks at this and immediately starts thinking about Corazon’s death, where he not only fought his last battle, but also completed what he considered to be the most important action in his life by saving Law. PLUS the phrase refers to the old belief that swans didn’t ever sing or make noise until just before their deaths, similar to how the only time that Doflamingo ever hears his adult brothers voice is during the few minutes before his death (at Doffy’s own hands)!!!

I’m not rlly sure how much of this is actually like a bunch of observations, and how much of this is just incomprehensible rambling from someone who reads too much in their free time and hyper-fixated on a side character who died years before the story he’s in even starts. Whatever. If u made it this far thanks tho!

Rewatching the last ep and got to the part where Viktor says "Do you see? The sublime intersection of order and chaos.", referring to the robots and situation around them, but given the fact that this is the part the viewer and/or Jayce realizes this is exactly where future Jayce was transformed, it reminded me of the beginning of s2e6

In the beginning of that episode, Viktor has just witnessed Jayce's violence through Salo and talks about "another will at work within him", that he heard a voice described as "ancient" and goes on to say that whatever is going on with Jayce is repeating itself while also destroying itself. Order and chaos, a complexity referenced again in that moment in the last episode

So what I'm sorta getting from that, given what we know now, is that our Viktor is talking about his older self repeating the chain of events over and over again and at the same time trying to save Jayce and the world, the goal being to ultimately destroy that future which he doomed, without actually knowing it is his older self. "Self replicating and self annihilating."

Also the beginning of s2e6 literally starts with the end of it, as if to symbolize a repeating cycle of sorts. Not that Jayce coming to kill Viktor early has happened before in another timeline per se, but maybe to show that no matter what, even when a break in the cycle is attempted, as Viktor has said before, "the glorious evolution is destined"

First of all, addressing the elephant in the room: It's very clearly stated in canon that Kakyoin hates submitting to people. That goes for friends too. If you are Kakyoin's friend, it means that you have earned his respect. So I think it's safe to say that he would not be submissive in any part of the relationship, romantic or platonic, and likewise fail wife Jotaro getting assigned suave dom top is SOOOO funny like did we watch the same thing. Fandom always does this it's binary thinking it's heteronormative it's tired dude!! Kakyoin MELTS Jotaro like a hot knife in butter dude, ain't noooo way. Also Hierophant is RIGHT there with his whole thing?? Right ok

Wrt Jotaros Issues, I think Kakyoin can see straight through him. Jotaro is known to believe that his actions speak louder than anything he could communicate verbally, which DOES incite many miscommunications, but Kakyoin is insightful, thoughtful, and observant enough to see and understand most of jotaro's intentions (ur not cool and stoic, jotaro, ur purposely putting urself in harms way so that you are the only one who gets hurt bc you at least know how you'll handle it!!!)

I like to think that if Kakyoin had lived, Kakyoin would have been Jotaro's confidant, and vice versa (since, despite his straightforward sincerity, Kakyoin definitely has some work to do on communicating his feelings and being vulnerable as well). I think, despite both of them being stubborn as hell they get each other, bottom line.

Also their stands are suuuuch a good battle couple combo hierophant holds them down/weakens defenses and splat punches the shit out of them it's baked in!!!

anyways for Reasons. I'm thinking about my old Star Clock Silver animation that I made for the Silverzine, and the tutorial that I WANTED to make but it was too much work.

I want to at least make the whole raw project files (the .PSDs, the actual AE .proj files, whatever assets I'm forgetting) available for download/study for everyone, but the main barriers are:

1. I don't actually know After Effects, including how to export a whole project including every piece of media used (I'm trying to google it-)

2. I'm worried someone will steal the art assets I worked so hard on :^(

not gonna lie though, it literally made me rethink my question because why would he be yelling at Soda, hear pony yelling back at him, and then hit soda ?? yeah it makes no sense but we're going to go with it

i think that in the moment, after darry slaps soda, they would all stop, the room going quiet. soda would move his hand towards his cheek, feeling the heat from the hand to face contact.

darry, being still in shock from what he did, would be looking from his his hand to soda, trying to process it all.

pony, partly feeling that it was his fault, would start bawling, asking if soda was okay, or try to guilt darry by saying something like:

"what are you going to hit me too?"

or

he would run in front of soda, his tears running down his cheeks while soda's tears remain in his eyes, threatening to fall, all while giving darry a stare mixed with hurt and confusion.

idk, it's hard to say what would happen next i literally have three different ways it could play out

but i think, maybe in this case, darry would make the attempt to apologize to soda, (like he did for pony), but try his best to explain it was an accident.

i dont think soda would run away, I think he'd probably say that it was all okay, rushing pony and himself off to bed because he's trying to prevent anymore fighting 😭 but i do think that soda might be a little frightened after that, like ofc he'd say he's fine (bc my guy is a people pleaser and he can't bring himself to talk to darry about how now he's scared he might hit him again 😭😭) but i feel that there might be some awkward tension in the air the day or two after that
