COMMUNITY IMMERSION
February 26-27, as the grade 12 BRO or Blessed Reginald of Orleans of Dominican School of Calabanga conducted a Community Immersion at Tomagodtod Calabanga Camarines Sur. This immersion is an activity on our Physical Education, Entrepreneurship, and Christology subjects.
Day 1: February 26, 2019
At exactly 7:00 am in the morning we are so busy on preparing our things that we needed to bring on our community immersion. Food, Clothes, money, and especially our prayers because we know that our journey on this event will not going to be easy so we need to prepare ourselves for us to be safe. At 10:00 am we are about to leave our school and go to our destination. We used a 6 wheeler truck for our transportation but before we leave our adviser check's our attendance. 44 out of 47 because unfortunately some of our classmates are not able to join us due to some personal reasons.
1:00 pm in the afternoon as we arrived on Tomagodtod chapel. We are so excited as we first saw the barangay and the people who lived there. The first thing we do is we putted our things on the house of the family we are assigned. I have my buddies which is John Michael Prades and Zimmer Aldrin Viola and we are with Gasgas Family. Their house is just a walking distance on the barangay hall so it is not hassle for us unlike on some of our classmates they are assigned on the house where located on the middle of the corn field. No electricity and water connection and it is very far from the barangay hall. After an hour all of us goes to Tomagodtod elementary school because we conducted a lesson or Catechesis for our Christology and after that we go back to the Families where we are going to sleep in.
At 9:00 Pm in the evening Me and my buddies cross the corn field just to Check our classmates because they texted us that they cannot sleep on the house where they assigned because the space is occupied by the family members so they decided to sleep on the barangay hall.
(I just want to share my experience when we crossed the corn field. We are a bit scared because aside from we didn't know where to go because the corn grass is very tall the fact that it is 9:00 pm in the evening and is too dark no one will help us incase something happened. We thank God for making us safe upon crossing those tricky corn field.)
Day 2: February 27, 2019
(5:00 AM) Just like a normal day with my family. We're having fun and enjoying it! Me and my buddies cooked our breakfast. Sinangag, Tinapa, Salted egg, itlog ng manok (scrambled and Sunnyside up), pandesal with matching mainit init na kape. Hmmmm lameeee! 馃槀 we ate our breakfast together with gasgas family. Both of us are sharing some stories about the things that we experienced as a student's and also we shared some personal informations. They are too nice!
At 8:00 AM in the morning we grade 12-BRO decided to go to the lake where we are going to swim. Almost an hour of walking until we reach the place. It is so beautiful and so relaxing until something bad thing happend. Our buddy John Michael is about to drown but as I see him I immediately jumped into the water and saved him but, as I am saving him he pushed me to the bottom of the lake and my legs started to cramps though It hurt's I continue on puddling just to make sure that we both are going to be safe.
At 1:00 PM at the barangay hall.
We conducted an event with the theme: "Paghimate" which means we are going to experience the things that the netizens of tomagodtod normally experience by feeling that we are one of them and we are part of their family. Just like a normal event it is so fun! We gave some clothes, food and other things that they needed but I think the most important things that we gave on them is the HAPPINESS maybe it is just a simple gift their smile is priceless and we thank that we are able to help them as they helped us too by realizing that life is not easy as we think. You need to do your best to survive. You need to do your very best for you to have a good and better life. Dont gave up! Do your best, work harder, have a dedication, determination, and focus. Then all things will be okay. 馃榿
At 5:00 PM - HOME SWEET HOME! 馃挌馃挋

Once a philosophers said: Tongue Yna mo noy! Labas!
This past few days we BSMT 1A11 are so busy on doing our project's, assignments, Research, etc. Because we are going to take our midterms for this semester so we need to make sure that our grades on prelims are okay by passing all the requirements that our professors ask to submit. I pass all my researches, assignments, projects and all the things that they ask to submit But, Am I not enough? Am I ugly? Am I exchangeable? (Charot! Hahaha) All the sleepless nights just to finish our tasks, No breakfast for almost every day just to make sure that we are all in our room at exactly 7:00 AM in the morning, All the efforts that we did, IT ALL SUCKS. I thought we we're be able to get an average grades based on our efforts. I thought that our professors will realize that we are just a students not an Bachelor's degree holder. TERROR PROFESSORS SUCKS! Laban lang alaxan! PARA SA FUTURE! 馃挬馃惙 Anyway Thank you for this Sunshine 馃挌馃挋 who makes me feel happy and motivated everyday to finish my tasks. This Sunshine makes me realized that once in a while I need to smile, just smile and everything will be okay. 馃榿
