Alice and Voxxette, Side by Side (Render Edits)

I'm here to talk about the subtle differences in Alice and Voxxette's designs.

Voxxette keeps up with the times and wears modern businesswomen clothing, while Alice sticks to her time and dresses accordingly!

You can't see it since Alice wears a dress, but Alice is slightly more top heavy rather then bottom heavy. (Like me lol) Her shoulders are a bit wider than her hips.

I did the opposite for Voxxette, where she is slightly more bottom heavy then Alice. Her hips are slightly wider then her shoulders.

Neither of them are at any extreme level of top/bottom heavy though. I felt like exaggerating that much wasn't nessessary for these two characters considering who they are and how their OG designs are clearly meant to both be similar and contrast each other.

When you breakdown the shapes of both OG Alastor and OG Vox, you'll actually find that Vox has a bigger waist and hips than Alastor, even as men! This was why I decided to go this route with the genderbent designs.

And if you REALLY wanna know, Voxxette has the bigger bust size, but not by much. I'd say they're both B cups but with Alice on the smaller end of B and Voxxette on the larger end.

Also, yes, I am planning to do Stayed Gone screenshot edits! ... Eventually.

But I still have quite a bit of other renders I want to complete first.

I noticed that Lance's 'human' appearance in-game lacked an accurate 2D reference... What was supposed to be a simple "side mission" became a multi-day marathon of squinting at pixels on screenshots, manipulating existent linework while trying to make the style consistent, and color-picking from a rip of the in-game model's textures to make it as accurate as possible. Was it worth it? Maybe not! But maybe this can act as a community resource! Artists are free to use this edit while making fanart, just please don't claim it as your edit since I genuinely spent 4+ hours on it... <3

After redesigning Peach, I wanted to do the other girls. So I went ahead and started with Daisy!

I always thought she should wear pants or have a more summer theme due to her ruling in a warmer climate.

Genderbent Vox, Voxxette. (Render Edit)

Okay, guys, I think I finally see why Vox won that hottest character in the show poll. I just had to turn him into a woman first so my lesbian ass could see the hype.

Sadly I lost a lot of the triangles in Vox's body, but it's just something you have to lose when it comes to masculine and feminine design. This is best seen in the shape breakdowns of both Vox and Voxxette.

All jokes aside, this was a fun challenge to make! Vox has no hair, so it was difficult to try and genderbend him. I also had a hard time designing eyelashes without taking up too much room. Unlike other characters he has permanent limited face space. I considered making her lips thicker to give the illusion of lipstick, but decided that wasn't necessary since she's just a screen.

I considered changing the tophat, but I was afraid of losing the WIFI design on said hat, which I personally think is integral to Vox's design so I kept the same hat but added a tiny bow in the middle.

For the clothes, I simply looked up modern women's business clothing and encorperated that with Vox's OG clothing. I kept the light blue lines because they turn into squiggly lines at the elbows, which represents communication waves, which, again, is very important to Vox's overall design. I 100% wanted to keep that with Voxxette.

I also kept the collar for the Wifi singal but made it a bit shorter. I made the back of the suit a bit longer, closed the front of the suit with a botton, and gave her red high heels to compensate for the red I lost from having her suit buttoned.

This is a render edit. I heavily traced over the OG render. That is the point of an edit.
