Okay.. so since the warriors is set in the late 70's of course being lgbtq+ was like. Unacceptable. So I imagine Swans parents finding out that she's lesbian when she were with them. So.. her going out and kissing and doing whatever to try to get 'rid' of being lesbian by going out with boys and all this stuff , but she can never date them for more than a week or so because she just doesn't feel attraction to them. So! She has internalized homophobia until she just accepts that she is the way she is , no matter if something is wrong with it or not because she can't seem to change this.

I also have this headcanon that swan enjoys going around the 5 boroughs every once and a while ( which could be one of the reasons shes Cleons #2 ) so she's seen mercy and mercy has seen her like a few times, and thats why she flirted with her because shes like a hallway crush. And finally getting to go with her? Hell yeah, there's her chance. I feel like mercy DEFINITELY helped Swan start to accept herself.
