I have injected SO MUCH symbolism into them and it reminds me a whole lot of the cobra and chakra thing (which btw yea one time I saw someone say that chakras get unaligned every few months even if u do nothing… I don’t know much about chakras but im like 99% sure that’s wrong af)

This might sound like a bunch of word vomit but basically oro and boro are the conjoined twins of Mercury, they were born from an asteroid and they serve Mother Terra (aka earth) via healing and whatnot

I chose healing because the real life mercury substance (the one that’s ironically balld for humans) is often seen throughout history as a spiritually healing substance. Because the typical health symbol is two snakes on a stick I decided to make them have a snake motif

They’re conjoined because snakes have the highest number of cases where there’s an extra head, sometimes it’s not functional but other times it is. (That’s also why they have such long necks… to seem more snake like) They’re named after the symbol of ouroboros, a snake (sometimes a dragon but usually a snake) eating itself. It represents how oro and boro destroy eachother and their conflicting views, but at the end of the day they are still a perfect circle if that makes sense

Which ties into the halo, which visually shows their unity despite being insanely argumentative, just like real life siblings

I know literally nobody would have picked up on any of that symbolism normally but I still think it’s really fun.. just like the cobra and bull symbolism :3

I love that Isabeau is the one to bring up the "what do we do if you die" conversation cause its a very good insight to his character at the very start of the game. Isabeau is practical, smart, and loves everyone dearly and wants to know how to help them when shit goes sideways. He's the one to ask about Bonnie too, which is a delightful read on how he thinks because everyone else shuts that down instantly as a "That wont happen and cant happen" but we see later in the game it can happen which is such a startling thing for a game to do but justifies the foreshadowing of Bonnie can die what do we do if that happens? Isabeau, despite everything, is also the one who gets to the heart of the matter even if its not something must people are willing to talk about. All without it being part of his friendquest, thats just him naturally. Which! Says so much about him and how he is! His character when its not about his relationship with Siffrin is a very intriguing thing because it feels like a very classic hard intellectual stance that's been softened after many years of learning to better communicate healthily with others. A reflection, if you will, of Odile but in a very drastic direction. I find him fascinating and I also want to scoop his brains out and study them under a microscope to see all his little brain thoughts.
