Why are people shipping Nezha with characters?! That's an IMMORTAL 12 YEAR OLD!!!!

Most of the characters are seen as adults or at the very least teens!!!

I just want my silly Chimerashipping or Spicynoodles Shipping art. I don't want a MINOR being added into these ships, especially as I see all the other characters as ADULTS!

I get if Nezha's age is never stated in the show, but a quick google search of the mythology that the show is based upon. Especially as Journey to the West is the direct backstory to Wukong, Nezha, Redson, and so many more characters. It's so easy to find that Nezha is an immortal 12 year old, and the many stories of his backstory or his own myths or even myths he's apart of.

i have decided to be the change i wanna see, so lets do a nice little thing for each other, as a community full of incredible and talented writers. yes this is writer specific only, but thats cause thats where the main problem of people not interacting with creative works lies in this fandom as far as i can tell and have seen people talking about it especially in the last couple of months

if you read this, please add links to your written works. it can be just a single fic youre really proud of, your writing blog, your writing tag, your ao3 account, anything where your works can be found

and unless the amount gets really overwhelming, im personally going to be checking out everyone that leaves something here. unless it squeaks me out, but even then, i'll spread the word. and i just wish as many people as possible will do the same, and not just use this as a potential board to only get eyes on their stuff. ofc thats also the point, but you should give as much, if not more, than you get. we need to be kind and supportive of one another (besides, from personal experience, if you show love to someone else, they are more likely to do it back than without you taking the first step, so... pay it forward)

and just in general.. leave people comments. leave them asks about their projects. just go over and gush about their work. i know it sounds embarrassing but writers love nothing more than to hear that someone likes what they are doing. if you find a fic that hasnt been updated in forever, comment on it. it might just be the spark the author needs to continue. while kudos and likes are nice, and just as valuable to some, its definitely in the words the people leave for them that matter the most. im not saying this to put pressure on anyone, its just how it is, and i feel like unless people are writers themselves, and even then sometimes, thats just hard to grasp, especially if the writer is a smaller and less popular one who doesnt get a lot of traffic in the first place

i think thats all. just be nice and considered to everyone, reblog peoples works, this post with others add ons and so forth. and if i find anyone talking shit here or at other writers for something they share, you'll be blocked and im probably taking your kneecaps. be fucking nice. we are all struggling here and we need to stick together

hey here's some resources if you want to stop paying for music streaming on ur computer

an mp3 converter that runs locally (can do whole playlists and albums at once too!)

old winamp because its not available on the winamp site anymore

this winamp plugin that displays lyrics of ur songs (some might not have them, others will have them but need syncing) theres a lot of lyrics plugins but this one is my favorite that ive tried, and its servers are still up!!!

this entire website actually has a lot of fun stuff for winamp in general, browse thru and see if u find smth u like tht still works!

Here I am with distractions!

I saw recently on lawswells-ashtray that you're Malaysian and I wanna get your recommendations on Malaysian food! I think you've discussed it before but if you have any recommendations of food that's not too spicy that'd be wonderful!

I like making food from different cultures c:

for breakfast I can recommend our simple egg + kaya toast + drinks of your choice combo

eggs: make them runny and half-boiled, mix some soy sauce and pepper

toast some thick white bread (kinda like anpan, but any bread works) with some butter and kaya (Kaya is sweet, kind of like sweet coconut vibes)

drinks: usually we either go with hot coffee, milo or tea :3

Another one I'll recommend is Roti Jala (Net Crepes), they look like this

I kinda forgot how to make this but I think it involves all purpose flour, eggs, coconut milk, milk, water and oil? The key ingredient to make it yellow is Turmeric powder. To get the spinny/hole look you'll need to get this kind of bottle/mould to make it though (see below). After mixing the stuff I said above then you'll fry it and roll it

other food you can try are these:

mee goreng (indomee best...it's basically fried instant noodles)

poh piah (crispy fried spring rolls)

bubur lambuk (super easy porridge)

satay (I have not made this before but it's like bbq meat sticks, goes well with peanut sauce!)

kerabu timun (pickled cucumber salad, again super easy to make, you get thinly sliced cucumber and mix it with pineapple, red onions, carrots and in some cases crushed peanuts as well + vinegar)

ABC soup (a staple in a lot of Chinese household, it's chicken soup with potato, carrot, yellow onion, tomato, corn and seasoning, we call it ABC because it's as easy as ABC - not to be confused with soup with letters xD)

roti canai - this one's a bit hard to make cause it requires you to smack and flip the dough to a thin consistency (it literally means flattened bread), typically goes with curry but you can try it with sugar instead!

rojak (mixed cut fruits + rojak sauce - typically it's a mix of caramelised sweet soy sauce, roasted peanuts, lemon juice and white sesame)

mapo tofu (my absolute fav, you can choose to make the non-spicy version but it's white tofu + minced pork)

tofu, gomz style (LMFAO this is me being lazy but you get white tofu and steam it with soysauce + fried garlic and bon appetit)

pandan chiffon cake

fried rice (tip, use overnight rice for extra crisp)

kuih bahulu (malaysian egg cake, ya gonna need a mould for this)

muah chee (peanut mochi - quite easy to make and very yummy)

yam cake (sweet and savory, mix of yam + shallots + spring onions)

a grin appears on my face as i put my fingers together slowly, tapping them mischievously.

okay so. basically. ive had this idea for awhile, it has been in my drafts a bit, but i never ever wrote it out specifically. ive interacted with riotsun about it a bit. basically, when it hits a certain time or if things eddie thinks go bad, or if he did something he believes that he thinks hes his mother. a small portion of this, is, to 'stay awake'. that way he doesn't return to his violent ways, nor become like her. putting sticky notes everywhere helps him remind that he's himself, and that he's 'alive' in some shape or form. it's basically a mental health thing - ? for example,

if an event, say, isaacs smiles at him - and his mood goes down hill extremely suddenly. He begins to write down what Isaac did, but it doesn't mean he doesn't write down the bad things either. sometime he'll use his strings to help give leverage as his minds too crowded to focus on mobility.

one of the first drawings i made was early january. its basically a coping mechanism of some kind. sometimes he can see hallucinations in the corner of his eyes, which make it hard for him to sleep.

edit: im going to add a bit more here.

it's important to say that this is another way to prove he has some control over his own life. it's not fair to him despite the past or whatever, but ive made quite a few other drawings with the stickynotes. if you zoom in close to ANY of the drawings with said sticky notes, you can read them up close. it can give you more hints.

his head tends to get crowded. and he can't pull himself up, nor feel the need to move. such as going to hide in a bathroom, while the water runs - his clothes still on as he cries in silence. geno, of course, knows of this and has to fetch his parents often. the thing about the bathtub thing, is he'll lock the door and turn the shower on to make it seem like hes showering ; only for hours and hours to pass by and nothing come from him to his family. the jocks aren't very aware of this fact, though, since eddie usually goes home or says hes too tired to hang out anymore said day.
