My taste in dress could be considered trendy, my public figure known, part of the cream of Paris and London, recognized as someone of respect and admiration, I Y/N Dubois daughter of a renowned designer of Paris in its golden age Antoine Dubois, raised with fashion from the cradle I have acquired experience in this field, of which I only practice modeling to please my elderly father. I dress according to the dress code I decide to wear white a tight satin dress with small pieces of draped fabric accompanied by a square neckline that gives space to observe my chest with a beautiful pearl necklace, white stiletto heels that do not reach to notice by the length of the dress unless my leg peeks through the open skirt on one side, and my lace mask perfectly tied with my hair up with loose strands to give it a little sensuality, finally, I'm ready.

I enter the room full of people with the most impeccable clothes I can see, gathered in their conversations focused only on enjoying the evening.

I direct my gaze behind me only to see the baroness talking to a journalist apparently with what she told her I can see that she is a despot, with that is enough I know how I should treat her and act, with a false admiration worthy of my acting gifts. I approach with great determination, but before I can open my mouth I hear glass falling on the floor, quickly that catches my attention, a tower of finely placed glasses now on the floor and next to it a woman in a white cape and her champagne glass finished drinking placing it gracefully on the waiter's tray, while I didn't get to hear what she said I only saw her crimson lips moving to finally have a match between her fingers, giving a direct look to the baroness in front of her and dropping the match to the floor, while her flaming cape quickly turns into a red dress like the color of her lips and her beautiful black and white curly hair that matches her perfect feathered mask.... this perfect stranger has just captured my attention in the most unique way possible and with her mischievous smile that is the cherry on the cake.

Following that I see how the security guards want to take her by the arm and she so nimbly doesn't allow them to touch her, I see how she plays with them and manages to hit them with her stick, the people are just as shocked as I am while the baroness looks nervous, when they finally manage to introduce her to her they start to talk, something I can't manage to hear but I am highly interested, I decide not to interrupt while I walk around the room and meet the journalist from before.

-Hi, nice to meet you, Y/N Dubois, I couldn't avoid noticing that you are a journalist, is that right? - I say as I offer her a handshake.

-Anita Darling," she replies as she accepts my handshake, "That's right, I'm a journalist for the Tattletale, Miss Dubois, I understand you are a model without fear of being mistaken.

-That's right, I dared to greet you, you understand that I must rub shoulders with the right people here, and having a journalist acquaintance could help me a lot if it's no bother.

- Not at all, from now on we are not careless strangers," she says as she smiles.

-You seem very nice to me, Miss Darling- I mention with a certain charisma and interest.

-It is mutual, believe me, now if you will excuse me, Miss Dubois, I must continue to gather the events of this evening to write them in tomorrow's note, the fact that a person you may know came here makes me uneasy.

Said these continue with their way and I with mine tasting treats waiting to talk to that unknown woman, the baroness step to the background, no one would dare to do something like that impression that ... attracts me.

After that I just see how there are rats in the baroness' saucer, it's almost like someone had planned it, I can't take my eyes off her when I see her tearing off the baroness' necklace without her noticing....

-Smart girl, I whisper.

I look up and a man falls on top of a cake? Dalmatians barking and people evacuating the hall, at what point did this turn into complete chaos? it is not possible....

As a precaution I decide to evacuate, but my dress and heels cause me to stumble and slip on a person.

-Are you all right? says a woman's voice as she takes my hand.

I turn to see her and it's as if the world disappears, her soft touch, I get up quickly.

-Yes, I'm fine, thank you.

-We need to get out of here," she says without delay.

-Sure.

Once outside I notice how she's looking for some persons, before wasting any more time.

-Excuse me, what's your name?

-Cruella

-I hope to meet you again cruella, I like your mask- I say before leaving I only see how she looks at me, I turn around and quickly look for my driver to leave this place as soon as possible, leaving that mysterious and attractive woman with the black mask....

Once I get into the car, I only look for the last time to where she was, sadly, without seeing her again.

Who would have thought that, among so many people with masks, she has caught my attention, this mystery only adds sensuality to the matter, I don't know why she caused me so much interest and why I enjoy so much this encounter...

Perhaps... was it destiny?

My morning was relatively calm, I leave my apartment every morning I exercise in Regent's park, as a model I have strict rules that I must follow to the letter however I do it more for how enjoyable the morning is in London, cold and cloudy, an environment that I really enjoy, after walking my daily route I head to my favorite coffee, my usual order a cappuccino, as I sit at the usual table....

Last night...finished drinking it's like a bucket of cold water has hit me, I need answers. As I leave the cafe I see in front of me a newspaper store, perfect, just by reading the main article I notice that everyone is talking about her, mischievous girl, I like you.

but rlly it is not my fault you see!! bc she had the big coat and the hair and the slayest red gloves anyone's ever seen in their LIFE!! i would have DIED for those gloves, they were RED rae do you even get it!!!! and even now that i know the truth .. idk i mean i think if even ONE of those poor precious darling dalmatians had .. you know :( .. i wouldn't be saying this right now it would on fucking site w that monster but as they all made it through. well. i do not think it is out of the realm for me to say she served absolute cunt in that movie. it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise.

Disney actually HAS done a redemption arc for two of their villains

Te Kā

When she was Te Fiti, she was a Goddess, she created life itself, she shared her gift with the world that she loved

But people got greedy

Specifically Maui

Now remember, Maui is a demigod, and the reason for that being is that the gods gave him their sympathy, Te Fiti is a goddess, she was probably a part of giving Maui his powers

And he stole her heart in thanks

Thats betrayal at its finest, she didn't do anything wrong, she was giving the humans life, and she was betrayed, not only by a demigod who claims to be a hero, but also the people who wanted the heart in the first place

So she lashed out, Te fiti could no longer give life, so Te Kā gave darkness and death

All Maui wanted was the approval of the people

All Moana wanted was to save her island and make her people proud

All the Chief wanted was for his people, and Moana, to be safe

All Te Kā wanted was her heart back

And she did, she got her heart back

This is one of the few movies where the hero and the villain wanted the same thing

And that's why she was redeemed, they both got what they wanted, the heart was back where it belonged, and all it took was for Moana to remind her that she's Te Fiti, not Te Kā

If thats not a good example, then what about Megara?

Ok wAIT I KNOW SHES TECHNICALLY NOT A VILLAIN BUT HEAR ME OUT!

She had a boyfriend, she loved so much that when he died, she sold her soul to hades to have him back, only for him to then leave her for another woman

From then on everything she did, she did for Hades, she had no choice, it wasn't right but she didn't have a choice

And then she met Hercules, the only man that showed her respect, that truly loved her, and she loved him back

But because of Hades, he realizes the truth about her, that she been helping the bad guys this whole time, and despite being mad at her for this, Hercules loves Meg enough to give up his powers to save her

And the guilt eats her up, she loves him and he's out there sacrificing himself to save people

So she sacrifices herself for him

This was the moment where she redeemed herself

And when she was saved, she was free from Hades grasp, and she was with Hercules

She was now free to be the good person she always wanted to be

I just watched Wish (2023) and it made me realize something kind of sad about Disney’s treatment of villains.

So Disney has a long history of villainy from the OG Evil Queen who is willing to murder a girl just for being pretty to the misguided like Auto thinking he’s protecting humanity in Wall-E. They are mean, jealous, prideful, vain, and many relish in just being the worst of the worst. However every now and then we get a glimpse of more complexity. Zootopia’s Bellwether dealing with years of racism and mistreatment, Gantu trying to stop what he thinks is a monster in Lilo and Stitch, Up’s Muntz being a heroic explorer before paranoia consumed him, etc. The thing that makes me sad about these villains is that not one of them has ever had a chance at redemption or change in Disney’s eyes and nowhere is that sadder to me than their latest villain, King Magnifico.

(Spoilers below)

King Magnifico is the magical founder of a utopian society that accepts people of all races, religions, and backgrounds. Who created this wonderful place after what is heavily implied to be a violent invasion destroyed his homeland when he was but a child. This past trauma led him to study magic and become a powerful sorcerer so that nothing could hurt him or the people he cared about ever again. His magic is a protection that he extends to all who choose to live in the city. The city is vibrant with a colorful community full of artisans, musicians, and dancers. He takes no taxes from them, but does take their one true wish upon joining this society.

When given these wishes it is understood that he will ensure their safety and possibly grant them one day. Something important to note about the physical manifestations of the wishes is that they give off a warm and comforting aura as they represent some of the purest parts of a person’s soul. Magnifico has been surrounding himself with this magical comfort for a very very long time by himself and I don’t think it’s unfair to say he has become addicted to their presence. The wishes are giving him a magical comfort through the kind souls within them, a feeling he could’ve probably also gotten if he had spent more time with his people.

It doesn’t look like he ever really got the chance to commune with his people properly because somehow the society kicked off on his wish granting abilities. People had to give him their wishes if they wanted them granted and eventually the ones that he couldn’t grant in good conscience or out of fear started adding up so he began locking them away. Keeping them safe so no harm came to the people. The rare occasions that anyone else interacts with these wishes is during wish granting ceremonies that the people are borderline rabid for. With good reason, it is their souls they’re thirsting for after all even if they don’t really know it.

However, Magnifico clearly doesn’t see it that way. He sees it as he’s given these people a wonderful safe haven from the horrors of the outside world where they can be whoever they want to be, do what they want to do, make what they want to make, and still all they see in him is a tool to fastpass to something else they want even more than the peace he’s given them.

This is clearly shown early on, before any of his evil behavior starts to take root, in relation to his assistants. We get a expo dump after the first song telling us that Asha wants to become one of his assistant to increase the odds of her grandfather’s wish being granted as there is a correlation between past assistants and having wishes granted. Something important here is that there have clearly been many assistants, suggesting that it’s a revolving door position without really explaining why. Who would want to keep finding assistants over and over again, when really you should find someone who could do the job long term right? Well we get to find out the likely reason when Asha steps up for the role.

When Asha comes to interview for his assistant position he sees she is nervous, he tries to calm her down, and he even manages to relate to her through fond memories of her kindly father who he clearly knew. After seeing her true resolve to do good he decides to trust her with something few people in the entire kingdom get to see, the vault of wishes. To which Asha doesn’t even hesitate to ask, after politely being told not to prior, if he’ll grant her grandfather’s wish.

Magnifico is blatantly stricken by her request, sadly remarking that most people at least wait a few months before doing so a.k.a pretend to be interested in helping him rather than trying to use him to grant a wish. This is likely why the assistant job is a revolving door. Magnifico tries to find someone who he thinks will truly and selflessly fulfill the role only to discover time and again that people are just using it to get direct access to him to ask for a wish. Then he can’t trust their true intentions anymore and moves them along.

After Asha makes her request he does take the time to look at her grandfather’s wish but dismisses it as too dangerous because it is the vague desire to inspire the next generation. Clearly we as the audience know that her grandfather means to inspire them to do good, but we have to remember Magnifico has seen the worst of society. He has seen the darkest wishes and desires of mankind and survived them. He brushes Asha off telling her she’s too young to understand, which is honestly true. She’s lived her entire life cloistered in peace and comfort thanks to him and the rules he has made. She has never had to know war, strife, or hardship thanks to him, yet she doubts his decision without understanding the trauma that guides it. This is what I believe pushes Magnifico into his villain arc, something that I don’t think we’ve ever really witnessed in a Disney movie.

Usually a villain already is the villain by the time the film rolls around, even the twist villains. Lotso had already been deliberately sentencing other toys to torture. Prince Hans was already planning to murder his way to a throne. Evelyn was already plotting her revenge. Magnifico wasn’t though. He was the hero. He had saved his wife and a whole city’s worth of people from whatever drove them from the mainlands. He wasn’t physically abusing/mistreating people like Gaston even if he was vainly basking in their adoration.

When Asha pushes him on the wishes he pulls back from her, identifying her in his mind as a threat and treats her as one. He dismisses her and tells her that her family’s wishes will never be granted by him, but he will still keep them safe as he has been doing. Essentially meaning nothing will change for her from what it has been. You know a happy loving existence of complete acceptance and wholesome family life or as Asha interprets it, a fate worse than death.

His interaction with Asha triggers him, as she’s pushed at the flaws in his reasoning for holding onto the wishes. The flaws are true, but his mind is clouded by fear of a lack of control, likely stemming from the horrors he witnessed in his childhood when he had no control. He also likely has a bit of an addiction to the warm fuzzies that the wishes give on top of his fears. While he’s ruminating on that some massive wave of magic blows through the kingdom and messes with the thing he’s already stressed beyond reason about, the wishes.

Magnifico frantically searches for any answer, even considering a dangerous tome of forbidden magic that he knows is trouble before his wife manages to talk him down.

The fact that he could even be talked down rather than ignoring her outright shows that Magnifico does have good in him. He’s just reacting out of a genuine panic. His panic is only worsened by huge mob continuing to beg him for wishes in exchange for doing what should be the selfless act of defending their kingdom from what is essentially perceived as an attack. Not having any faith left in his people he turns back to the evil book to give him the key to stopping this perceived attack.

Just to be clear King Magnifico goes to the big bad evil book not to gain more power for funsies, but to try to find a way to stop a perceived threat. Everything he does from this point on, such as threatening his wife, can no longer be fairly tied to him, because as the movie repeatedly tells us he is under the EVIL book’s influence. His wife even looks through the same book to try and see if there is a way to break the sway she knows it has over him, but says she can’t because the EVIL book said no.

Yada yada yada and Magnifico is sealed inside a magic mirror and smugly told to rot in the dungeon by his previously loving wife.

Seriously?! What the heck?! This guy was the perfect candidate for rehabilitation. He wasn’t flawless, but he wasn’t a murderous psycho like most of the other Disney villains. Disney loves to preach kindness, acceptance, and good will with their heroes, but never does it allow the message of change.

I was shocked going back through the catalogue and slowly realizing none of their villains, regardless of how tragic their origins are, are ever truly allowed a second chance. The hero may offer it, but the baddy never is truly expected to change or reform. Which is honestly super messed up to me. People make mistakes. Some can be small/insignificant, but some are big and do hurt people sometimes. That doesn’t mean they can’t change for the better.

Now I’m not saying every villain is redeemable or good, it’s just a bit surprising that for all the messages of kindness and acceptance we haven’t really gotten forgiveness in 100 years. Seeing the “bad guy’s punishment” just deeply bothered me this time. Probably because so much of the bad that Magnifico does is clearly a trauma response and as a punishment for not acting appropriately to said response he gets sentenced to eternity is magical cell.

Also got a Cruella Devile doll, not because I've ever been a fan of 101 Dalmatians because fortunately I am terminally a cat person so I never cared for the movie or Cruella outside of her cool as shit aesthetic (don't go skinning puppies though obviously. Or any other animals unless they've been hunted ethically or were already dead because animal fur is actually a fantastic resource if sourced ethically. And not from 101 puppies. What a horrifying pregnancy.)

Anyway I got the doll to customize for like DIRT cheap and honestly I was so fond of her OG design I almost decided not to alter it but I did decide to go with my original plan of turning her into a creepy doll because her head shape is unique and quite true to her animated design, making her Prime Material for a creepy doll design since I finished the last two dolls I was doing up

I changed Carlos and Evie up, so now Evie is a vain witch like her mother who is fashionable but she doesn’t sew her own stuff. ( which is for the better cse wtf was that ugly ass dress she made for Mal in D2???)

Carlos considers himself to be a very expensive person and can be pretty big germaphobe. He hates getting anything on his clothes and he refuses to wear the school uniforms at Auradon Uni because they’re ugly. He wears lots of black white grey and red, with gold accents usually. He does theme around dog associated items like gold bone cutlets, paw print lapel chains, and a tennis ball brooch. He often wears red gloves and his favorite shoes are his collection of red bottom dress shoes. He likes hiding red on the interlining of his clothes too, such as his jackets and hats and vests.

A lot of his own person style is derived from 1990s London fashion ( as the artist that means I get my references from the 1996 101 Dalmatians live action movie, the styling of Cruela in that movie is ICONIC AND IMACULATE, and I MUST reference her for Carlos.

Of course he wears REAL animal print. And he’s not a weak touch me not prick like some think. He’s still tech savvy and does Anyalitics and specs for the core four. He also loves GUNS 😄. Think of him like a sharp shooter who stays in the back of turf wars and snipes people. The isle doesn’t have many marks men ( they all really like swords for some reason) so he’s pretty dangerous. He builds his own weapons too.

His passion started out as a way for him to collect his own furs but Harry gets him most of what he needs plus he always needs Carlos to redo his wardrobe ( he gets… messy… after a couple days work) Carlos hates that Harry ruins his creations so fast but he pays him well and gifts him rare fabrics and samples from Auradon.

Because Carlos has no magic Mal always underestimates him. She sees him as only a stylist and ranged weapon specialist. Even tho she acknowledges him for his wit and tech skills she still doesn’t listen to him. Sometimes he wishes he could stay with Harry but then he’d have to do more work up front. Harry understood what Carlos was capable of and respected him a lot. What Harry doesn’t understand is that not everybody likes to be covered head to toe in hot sticky blood 24/7. Harry had also promised him a suite on his boat that nobody else was allowed to occupy, but even if Harry’s crew feared HARRY they wouldn’t mind having an attitude with CARLOS for preferential treatment, even if it is what he deserves 🙄

Harry and Carlos’s relationship is the definition of there are two wolves inside you. Carlos smokes and drinks but he’s more of a Marlboro and Merlot type of guy and Harry’s a Rum and Cigar kinda lad. ( I’m using cartoon logic and say that those habits are purely aesthetic based of iconography from the original Disney moves, Cruella smokes and Capt. Hook smokes two cigars at once)

Carols isn’t really scared of dogs anymore but when he arrives at Auradon he “befriends” his roommate Chad ( now an animal lover like his mother) who has pet rats and a entourage of wild animals constantly in their dorm, and threatens to shoot and skin them all every single day to make a new line of coats ( when Chad rebuttals that his rats are too small to make coats, Carlos says they’d make the perfect fuzzy gloves 💀) He also uses Chad as a living mannequin for his designs. They have a goofy relationship with each other, Carlos does make Chad do all the dirty work of skinning and draining the animals he hunts but despite how traumatic that is Carlos is a fun sweet guy so it’s okay 💀💀💀.

Jay is jelly of Carlos due to his closeness with Harry. ( I guess the way to Jays heart and respect is by holding him at sword point and threatening to gut him and hang him by those very guts over shark infested waters and watch them nibble away at him 💀)

Next I’ll find up Carlos and do some fit designs then I’ll redesign Jay and tell that gutting story 😛

    When the School of Black Magic closed, it sent Merlin Academy into a new state of chaos. The small set of villains that already existed at the school was bad enough, to double how many there were created a new challenge for all the students. For the heroes, it was more people to dodge. Especially kids like Bridget and Ella. If the new villains knew the originals went after them, then the new kids would double it. The villains from the condemned school demanded to have respect and fear, no matter what it took. Bringing in bigger threats and darker pranks to the halls of the academy. And the villains who ruled the school before them? They were being driven mad by the people trying to take over their turf, it was visible too. Even the heroes could see the insecurity creeping into the small group. As if it poured off of them, their more aggressive yet less detailed actions seeming to be a poor attempt at compensating. Everyone thought they’d become one group after they saw them interact the first time, not expecting the way the two groups would be at each other’s throats. Hook and Gaston were far too prone to butting heads - or more so smacking each other upside the head. And Maleficent and Grimhilde? They were a match made in hell, seeming to go after each other more than they did nonvillains. 

    If you were to ask Uliana though, the worst of them came in the form of (Y/n) (L/n). With her perfect control of her lackeys and carefully thought out plans. If she said jump, the four fools who followed her around would say “how high” in an instant. (Y/n) with a mouth so foul you’d think her a pirate; a sailor's tongue stuck in her skull. With her temper and dark magic. A threat to anyone who came near her. She was more evil than Ursula had been, easily throwing a blanket over Uliana’s cage and smirking at her as the cloak fell. Solidifying herself as a threat the second she turned every male in the school into a dog, nearly doubling the frog debacle the elder sea witch had created. (Y/n) with her perfect hair and thousand mile stare and dark glossed lips. Whose loud music poured from her skull candies and leather jacket hugged her body like a glove. She was all that Uliana could think about now, it drove her crazy. Drove her friends crazy too. If they had to hear about the new girl one more time they were sure that they would snap. Especially Hades, if he had to think about being a doberman ever again he was going back to the underworld to sulk. 

     Watching the way she seemed to coo at Morgie, Uliana’s Morgie, across the courtyard had something bubbling up in her chest. Seeing her soft, manicured hand slide down his arm as she speaks, half lidded eyes trained to his face as she spoke soft and slow. He was clearly hanging onto her words, smiling at her with a nod. Who does she think she is? Why were her hands on part of Uliana’s crew like that? 

     “What is she talking to him about?” Her voice is sharp, eyes glaring daggers into the girl. “Knowing him? He probably asked her to turn him back into a labrador retriever. Speaking of, why did he get a good dog? I was a yorkie, not even a full sized one, one of those little guys with the chirpy barks and the shakes,” Hook grumbles, tapping his nails against the table in front of him. Maleficent lets out a near nasty laugh at the pouting boy, shoving his shoulder softly, “Watching you tremble like that was hilarious. Like your ego didn’t fit into your little body.” She looks him up and down with a smirk, adding on a snarky, “It barely fits in that one already.”  Hades shrugs, closely focused on the way Uliana was staring at the conversation before them. She wasn’t looking at Morgie, there was no way she was. “Maybe it’s because you’re short. What exactly are you looking at, Uli?” 

     “It’s like she’s trying to seduce him,” the words seem to send her into a sense of panic, “You don’t think that’s what’s happening, do you?” Hades laughs, a smirk playing on his face, “Maybe it is. Does that bother you?” Did it bother her? Uliana didn’t think it would. It was the principal of it, wasn’t it? Losing part of her crew to her enemy. So why did the girl sliding her hand down Morgie’s cheek make Uliana see red? Wanting to swing on Morgie for what the girl was doing? What on Earth was happening to her? 

     (Y/n) smiles, placing a kiss on the boy’s cheek before tapping it twice. Uliana could see the dark lipstick mark on his pale flesh as he turned to come back to them, the girl who was speaking to him sliding off her perched spot on the picnic table, seemingly satisfied. Heeled boots making a chilling clacking on the walking stones as she goes, and Uliana was right on her heels. Ignoring the calls from her friends and the slightly hurt “what did I do?” Morgie let out as she goes. Whatever it was that (Y/n) thought she was doing with Uliana’s group needed to be stopped. 

     “What do you think you’re doing?” Uliana’s voice echos off the tunnel like halls of cobble stone as she grabs (Y/n)’s wrist, swinging the taller girl to face her. She hadn’t been this close to her before, that was something that became painfully obvious to her as she got lost in the color of the other villain’s eyes. She didn’t think they would be so pretty up close. “What do you mean? I was just having a little conversation.” It’s a feigned innocence that clashes with the way she was walking the sea witch backwards. Pinning her against the wall with one elbow balanced on either side of her. “Don’t play stupid.” She watches the way the taller girl’s eyes roll in their sockets as she looks down at her. Her eyes flickering to the dark lips that were smirking with a teasing air. They were blotted, tint more gray than black from where she’d kissed the boy’s cheek moments before but there was still a shine to them that caught the light. Something about it was so captivating that she failed to notice the girl talking until her hand came to rest under her chin, tilting her head up. “See, that right there is exactly what I’m talking about. You can’t win over me, Uliana. You’re too distracted.” 

    “I am not distracted,” the girl scoffs, pushing her chest slightly as she tries to seem tough. “Oh you are though, Shrimpy. You wanna kiss me so bad that you look stupid.” The words make her still, mouth falling open and closed as she attempts to find something to defend herself. It seems to light something ablaze in (Y/n), smirk turning into something more primal as she pulls away. Leaving Uliana alone, gaping like a fish in the hallway.

      Luckily, or perhaps purposely, the two didn’t run into each other again for the next two weeks. The next time (Y/n)’s eyes locked with Uliana’s was as she was catching Bridget from behind. Stopping the pink girl from hitting the ground just to throw her back into the chest of the sea witch. “Resulted to just throwing girls to the ground now, have we? I thought you lot would be more evil than that.” It makes Uliana scoff, shoving Bridget off her as she steps up to the other girl’s chest. “Well, it would be a lot easier if someone wasn’t always stepping in my way.” A hand reaches out, brushing her thumb across the bottom of Uliana’s lip. “Can’t handle a little competition, Uli? I thought that would be your thing, with your sister and all.” She huffs, stepping back, the motion sending her into Hook’s chest. “I can handle competition, just not when it's so full of itself.” 

   She lets an arm stretch out, grabbing Bridget and pulling her against her chest. “They’re losing their touch, don’t you think, Princess? Just pushing royals down like kids on the playground.” One could tell the princess was holding her breath from just looking at her, looking up to the villain in fear. “I mean, compared to me blowing up that pretty little potion of yours, getting pushed down seems like a toddler’s work, does it not?” “Can you,” her voice is a squeak as she looks away, “Can you let me go, please?” Her arm unwraps from the girl, Bridget running off while she has the chance. "Seems to me, Bridget there knows which one of us she should fear more.

    “Where are your friends? Scare them off too?” Uliana tries to sound nonchalant, hiding the way that her words stung. Nothing seemed to match the venom of the girl’s spit anymore. She was not losing her touch, she was sure of that. “Personally, I’m evil enough that I don’t need five people to harass one princess. We prefer to split up, covers more ground,” Her grin catches the light in a way that nearly makes her shine, laughing at the sea witch softly, “I see why you need yours though, Shrimpy.”

   “Aye, watch it Lass,” Hook steps in front of Uliana, staring the girl down. “Or what, Hook? You’ll make me?” She laughs, ruffling his hair as she walks past. “You don’t scare me, Captain. That was a cute try though. Really cute try.” He stands, dumbfounded as she walks by, “I do not like that witch.” “Yeah, Hook, I don’t really think she wants us to,” Hades mumbles, watching the nonchalant way the girl sashays to wherever she was headed. What was it about her?

       If Uliana was bad about talking about (Y/n), the witch was much worse. Laying across Jafar’s lap with a near whine as she complains about the other group of villains. “I have never had to fight to have someone on my side like this. Doesn’t she realize it’s safer to be in my good graces?” He shrugs, carding a hand through her hair as she rambles on. “Well, why do you care what’s safer for her?” Her body stills, staring up at the boy with her brows furrowed, “What?” He rolls his eyes, head falling against the back of the couch they were lounging on, “Why do you care? Back at Black Magic if someone you wanted on your team didn’t want to be on it, you’d make their life hell. I mean, we all remember the Gothel incident. So why do you care so much about those five?” 

   She shakes her head, arms crossing over her chest, “I don’t care about all five of them. I could care less about that little pirate and sorcerer. They don’t give me anything to gain. A god though? He could be helpful. And if Grim and Maleficent could ever get along it would be lovely to have a pixie that powerful on our side.” Jafar hums, tilting her head up so she has to look at him, “And the sea witch?” She pauses, eyes flickering over his face in search of something. “What are you getting at, Jay?” He smirks, leaning closer to her face, “What do you gain from having the sea witch around?” She hums, staring up at him as she thinks. What did she gain from Uliana? Why did it matter? “I don’t,” she sits up, walking to his door, “I don’t actually know. I just think I want her to want me.” Jafar smirks, following her to stop her from leaving, “You want her to want you? Want you how?” She holds her breath, staring up at him. “You think she’s pretty, don’t you, (Y/n)?” Of course she did. She had eyes, obviously she could tell the girl was pretty, but that doesn’t mean anything, right? 

     “When you think about her wanting you, what do you think about? Do you think about her acting like me and Cruella? Do you want her as your best friend? Or does she act towards you the way that Morgie acts towards her?” He watches her face, hoping for any sort of reaction from his friend. “Or,” he smirks, grabbing her jaw, “Do you think about her kissing you? Having her hang off your pretty little arm?” She could feel the heat rising up her neck to her face, desperate that he wouldn’t be able to see how flustered the idea got her. “What are you getting at?” “I think,” he smirks, pulling away from him and crossing his arms, “I think you can’t treat her like you did Gothel because you have feelings for her.” “As if I’d ever,” she hears how flustered she is in her own words, closing her lips and shaking her head. “Yeah, that’s what I thought.”

      When she walked into the small cafe the next day, she expected to see Cruella, her eyes scanning over the place twice. Her friend was nowhere to be seen, the only even slightly familiar person being Uliana. The sea witch wrings her hands as she looks around, eyes falling on (Y/n) and she stops. It takes the girl a second to realize what’s happening. God, she’s a dumbass. Jafar and Cruella had set her up, this was some sort of warped blind date. Of course they did. That's what made her like them, they were the most evil people she knew.

    She walks over to the table that Uliana is sitting at, sliding into the seat across from her. “So how did they convince you to show up?” Her eyes flicker up at the girl, brows furrowed, “What?” (Y/n) shakes her head, crossing her arms across her chest, “How did Jafar and Cruella get you here? I was messing with you when I said that shit a few weeks ago, you know?” “What are you talking about? I’m supposed to be meeting Maleficent, she said something about coming with Jafar. Said he had something to tell me,” she smirks at the girl, leaning over the table, “You know, it looks like you might lose him. And Jafar would be a greater loss than Morgie. Seems I’m beating you at your own game.” 

    The girl is trying to look proud but her eyes are once again locked on (Y/n)’s black lipgloss. “Yeah,” she laughs, leaning onto the table on her elbows, “Jafar isn’t coming, Uliana. We got set up.” She pauses, recoiling as she takes in the words. Set up? “What do you mean by that?” “I guess I’m not the only one who thinks you want to kiss me. Our friends set us up here and who knows,” (Y/n) stands up, pulling her wallet from her pocket, “If you’re lucky I might just kiss you. My lipgloss is vanilla flavored you know. I bet you'd like that.” She takes in the flustered look that crosses the sea witch’s face and smirks. Hopefully Jafar didn’t think he could throw her off. She always got her way, he just gave her a little push. Nothing more.

89: Headcanons for an AU that you have

hmmm… roger rabbit au… hmmmm….

i could talk more in depth about taka and mondo’s in world cartoon in the au because i’ve never talked about it on my account before. so excuse me while i ramble…

the taka cottontail cartoon is your typical “hero saves the damsel in distress from the big bad villain” type cartoon (think of some old mickey and minnie mouse cartoons, popeye, a non vintage cartoon example would be mario, peach and bowser).

taka of course stars as the hero and mondo is the cartoon’s villain for a limited time (he gets fired at one point the dummy). and sayaka is our damsel (because HELL YEAH WILLPOWER UNION). she is also a bunny and is named “sayaka satin” after satin rabbits, known for their shiny and pretty fur and how they’re bred specifically for rabbit shows.

anyways. for mondo, im having a tough time thinking about how his villain character’s gonna be. i could go the more flamboyant route (with the idea of him being created to be very queercoded and somehow getting on the screen) and have him be a cruella de vil-like fashion designer who wants to capture sayaka and use her pretty fur for clothing. or i could go for something with a little more machismo (to really contrast his acting persona with his later one that’s more akin to jessica rabbit) and have him be a hunter/trapper that wants to hunt down sayaka like game to display her like a trophy. again, because she’s pretty. still working on which one i like more.

also off camera, these guys are besties. they hang out a lot and built a nice relationship with each other. sayaka’s stuck in this weird predicament where the person who was made to be her love interest actually doesn’t like her like that behind the scenes, but she doesn’t mind it. taka’s a good friend, but she’s not looking for that kind of relationship right now because she’s so focused on her career. she wants to break off and do her own thing once the cartoon ends its run, but she’s unsure if people will be able to separate her from that show. hmmm…

she’s also essentially the stand-in for the original movie’s baby herman because she’s the first person who approaches kyoko about taka being framed and asks her to help clear his name. because she knows taka, and she knows he’d never do something like that.

and taka’s just silly. he stays silly. silly rabbit.

well start with the vks cuz thats easy

Mal-started off strong and then just became...THE WORST, love hate relationship for her. shes my art block fix but also i hate her

Jay-i dont have strong opinions on him, he actually never stuck out to me other than 'obligatory jock dude of the friend group.' i wish i liked him more but im more attached to his fandom self over canon Jay

Evie-got boring after D1, i wish they let her keep her chemistry stuff, love her vibe but shes kinda boring to me. SHOULD'VE BEEN THE MC OVER MAL!!

Carlos- lots of lost potential with his tech stuff from the first book and movie. easily could've been an engineer or inventor but they just made him an animal lover and i got bored of that real quick.

Uma-my queen, my idol, can do no wrong i love her so much i WILL kill for her.

Harry-i love his dumbass so much YALL DONY EVEN KNOW I WANNA BITE HIM SO BAD

Gil-one of the few characters i felt actually...grew up? idk but hes one of the few characters were it actually feels like time passed for.

Dizzy-oooooooh honey, honey honey, sunshine baby, please, put the glue gun down.

Celia- they should've gone with her trailer persona. Her outfits are so bad and i wish she got better writing and designs, so much lost potential, also she should've been Jays pick.

Smee twins- why the fuck are they even here they had one line and no significance. also they should've had a Harry scene.

Ben-puppy boy, deserved to have doberman energy. got turned into a doormat by the writers and is unfairly hated.

Audrey-bitch queen, shes not a nice person and thats okay~ girlboss.

Chad- should've been the D3 villan they had that all set up in D2 with his weird ass attitude over Ben getting kidnapped on the isle.

Doug -....honestly gives me the ick, especially in D3, i HATE the long hair his actor had/has. gold is NOT his color and neither is pastel purple or green. he looked good in D1 but ICK for 2 and 3.

Jane- bby gurl, blue bird sweetheart. yeah she did some fucked up shit in D1 but she was an insecure 14 year old girl who got manipulated by Mal and other aks!!!

Lonnie- deserved so much better, shes Chinese why is she getting Japanese style stuff?!?! her plot in D2 didnt even do anything it just happened and no one cared and Jay just shoved his problems of girls playing roar onto her.

Beast- *inhale* i wanna kick his ass, and i could, lemme at him. how dare he force an entire kingdom on Ben at 16 when he didnt become king when he was 28(when he married Belle)

Belle- they took away her backbone, shes not Disney princess book worm and independent Belle. she just, lost the spark

FG- they turned her into a preschool teacher, GIVE ME MY OL COOKY FAIRY LADY BACK

Maleficent- fuckin love her, shes such a manipulative bitch and feels like a gone crazy version of a Maleficent made for kids. def not the mistress of all Evil but i love her nonetheless

EQ- shouldve been the head villain, SHE WAS THE FIRST DISNEY VILLAIN CMON! def not the same character from the animated movie but shes dramatic and sassy and i adore her.

Jafar- haha funny characature~ i wish he was more menacing like he had been. Jafar is not one of my fav villains so descendants jafar didnt exactly translate for me well.

Cruella- yeah they nailed her, no complaints about her. good design, good dialogue, good acting.

Hades- LEMME KICK HIS DEAD BEAT ASS, fucking 'daddy issues made you stronger' my butt. i hate his hair and honestly he doesnt fit the washed up punk design, he didnt deserve the speech at the end and didnt deserve to be forgiven by Mal.

Ursula- we only saw her tentacle and one line but she seemed spot on so yeah

Lady Tremaine- why the fuck was she nice in D3??? bitch is the EVIL stepmother.

Smee- spot on, i have words for his sons designs becuaee hes old not naturally white haired but hes chill, makes sense hed be a good parent, he never felt evil to me, just compliant

Facilier- such a vibe, his actor got him spot on, would've changed up his suit design but hes chill and i can see him being a family man(ignoring wicked world).
