just wanna say that you are a huge inspiration for me in both art and content creation<3 also what are your boundaries in fanart? Ive seen a lot of different things, ranging from "squiddo doesnt want fanart" to "they accept everything" :P

Secondly, I love fanart! I feature fanart in almost all of my videos at the end. You guys are incredibly talented and I love your fanworks so much that I want to show them off to everybody. That being said here are my boundaries...

I'm okay with people shipping me, it just sort of makes me laugh. But please don't go out of your way to send me any ship works featuring me, I just don't think that I should be seeing it. When it comes to NSFW I don't want people to draw that but I know that absolutely nothing I say will be able to stop it, so please don't feel the need to say "Look what this person drew!!" I know it's inevitably going to exist.. I don't want to acknowledge it... Annnddd lastly gore I've never seen it but I'm probably okay with it? I dunno. I won't put it in a video though.

yeah we’re right to make the dickmatized jokes about stewy going against his better judgement to back kendall Again. but this time it’s honestly fucking miserable. stewy has been trying to get kendall out since the beginning, since before the beginning, and then here he is at logans funeral and kendall wants back in. stewy backing him for ceo, yes was him letting kendall pull the friend card and yes was him letting his feelings cloud his judgement and yes was him being dickmatized to a dishonorable degree, but its also like. logan is dead. logan is dead and the company’s not in family control anymore and ken is halfway out the door and he has something good going on. logan is dead and one piece of paper has kendall diving back in. stewy’s been trying to get kendall out of logans control from the start and logan is dead and ken should be free but they’re at his funeral and kendall wants back in. ‘ken is your head on straight?’ genuinely i was surprised that he backed him because stewy wouldnt. because it makes bad business sense and because stewy doesnt want kendall at waystar in the first place. ‘what in it for me, ken?’ he wouldn’t do this but at this point its a resignation. its a last resort. i couldnt get you out when he was alive and now he’s dead and i still cant get you out so i’ll help you get it in because this is the last way i know how to help you at all. ‘i dont wanna live in a haunted house, kendall tells stewy, unaware that he already is, oblivious to the ghosts lurking around them both. they were fucking right. it IS around them both. in kendall’s haunted house the ghost is logan. in stewy’s haunted house the ghost is kendall.

Normally, I'd go "erm actually 🤓☝��" but this is a good faith statement, but KEEP IN MIND: Unreliable narration! Sometimes, it is written neutrally or positively bc of the UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Their worldview is warped, and that's why it's written in a positive light.

So many adaptations of things like the backrooms and the poolrooms get it wrong. it’s not that there’s a monster in there. it’s that the monster is the rooms themselves.

To me the horror of things like the poolrooms is because something should be there, and isn’t. This is actually what liminality is at its core. From a theoretical perspective, it is a space between two places. It is not a place where people go and remain. Motels. Train stations. Rest stops. Stairwells. Office buildings. Community pools. All places people are, but don’t stay.

Putting a monster in the poolrooms always feels so cheap because there are a million other horror experiences where a thing is chasing you or lurking somewhere. Avoiding a monster in the poolrooms is the same as avoiding a monster in a forest or a pizza restaurant or a house or a hospital or or or or etc. it’s a coat of paint at that point. It undermines the very unique liminal aspects of these locations by not engaging with its core components of time, space, solitude, and even identity that do not exist elsewhere. It just makes it Avoid The Monster Game number fourteen thousand and three.

When really, there is a horror of a place that is ever-expansive. A horror of a beast that is a location, a place that you cannot escape from, where you cannot die, and the only living thing is you.
