So, upon playing the Roger DLC and have watched Kwite's playthrough and read a good amount of fanfiction, and simply reading in to the ND undertones like I did the Karen route (the way i'd detransition for her is crazy), I think Roger genuinely needs a caretaker.

Hear me out: I'm ND myself and they call me the struggler the way I fail miserably at normal society, so I don't think I'll be able to survive without a roommate. My parents work too many hours and they spent the last 18 years doing this shit. Obviously, Roger and I are at two different points, and I could survive on my own, but Roger? Dude needs someone to help him with day to day things. Sure, he's living with Jake and possibly Harry by the good ending of the DLC, but they are not equipped to deal with Roger. Jake is probs too NT and I HC Harry as autistic, so he probs got overwhelmed easily. I would too if I didn't understand Roger and worked in a rat ass pizza joint.

All this to say is: I like Roger and Peter's dynamic. Peter knew him for years and is equipped to deal with Roger, and knows what's best for him. I don't think the plant would've survived as long as it did without Peter involved. He genuinely wants to help Roger, and would let a goddamn cryptid help him out as well. So, I hc, at the end of the DLC, Peter looks in to becoming Roger's caretaker and Roger ends up having a better quality of life.

i don’t understand erik’s intention behind treasure and porter having this serious conversation about wanting to get to know each other on a deeper level than just sex, and then having their very next audio be them getting handsy on a ferris wheel. like…

in porter’s latest video we definitely see parts of him opening up to treasure and them having little moments like when he says, “i can see you,” or him being overall more playful than we’ve seen him be in previous audios. it’s sweet but it all feels like it’s just building up to the sexual content later in the video. i get it, its “hot boi summer” and erik’s been doing this on his channel for a while now, but why not pick a different couple to showcase? why them? let’s flesh out treasure’s character more or have porter face some consequences of his past, literally anything but having porter bite them on a ferris wheel would’ve been good. sometimes i wish erik would tone it down with the sexy stuff. there’s other ways to write intimacy then just sex. 

i think it would’ve been more impactful for the story if the video would’ve ended with them just talking. maybe porter tells treasure about magic and the rest of the supernatural world, they freak out a bit, but he promises to protect them. or treasure opens up about feeling lonely around their friends and that’s something porter knows all too well, to be surrounded by others and not feel seen. there were so many routes erik could’ve taken but all were brushed over because horny, sex, blah blah blah

TLDR; don't let sex overshadow good storytelling

Normally, I'd go "erm actually 🤓☝️" but this is a good faith statement, but KEEP IN MIND: Unreliable narration! Sometimes, it is written neutrally or positively bc of the UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Their worldview is warped, and that's why it's written in a positive light.
