what fucking makes me want o rip my hair out when it comes to the security guy at work is that i'll even try to COMMUNICATE WITH HIM!!!!! (i know for people like us communication can be difficult & we often need specific clear wording and even then we have layers to peel back) When i cant tell if he's being sarcastic, i'll ask him genuinely, because as ive told him multiple times before the way he says things it literally cannot be interpreted as a joke (even neurotypicals at work have agreed with me in front of him) and always seems like he's being serious. i tell him this all the time and he acts like its fucking funny that im genuinely mad about the fact that he wont communicate back with me. so from what ive been seeing in the show so far it seems they’re gonna pair off paul with debbie and here’s why I don’t rly like it

btw in case anyone is wondering yes this happened in the comic and here’s comic paul vs show paul for comparasion

while im normally all for “yes girl get that dick” in terms of Debbie’s character it just seems ,, cheapening to chain her to another man to show she’s “whole” now. Debbie as a character/person has little to nothing to gain out of this relationship realistically. Women can live without “needing”a relationship to make them complete. Especially after what she’s gone through, like thats a 20 year relationship its gonna leave emotional scars.

Also the show seems to have this AVERSION to giving debbie actual female friends for longer than 1 scene at a time. Like im happy she has Art as a friend but she needs a woman in her life. Like I loved the scene with Olga at the start of s2 and the interaction w Carol of the SOS group but! Olga went back to Moscow and debbie can’t return to the group of bc of alana’s ugly ass ex husband. Like if they MUST pair her off with Paul just like the comic at least idk show that her past trauma is affecting her? Show her being messy and making mistakes or even Paul pointing out like “hey I don’t think you’re in the headspace for this” and breaking it off

Maybe then have debbie realize she’s better off single and begins to focus more on herself now! She could get a good friend group (or at least one female bestie pls) and in that stability of being single and with more immediate support in new friends! Show her taking up new hobbies to occupy her time outside of her job and enjoying life without ‘needing’ a partner, no characters growth should be dependent on a romantic partner!

It will make whenever nolan drags his sorry ass back to earth to see her that much more hard hitting because she doesn’t need him, he needs her. it’ll add so much more depth and struggle to him just trying to regain her trust and then if the show does do them getting back together it’ll actually feel more earned instead of happening off screen which I hated.

Also bc in the comic debbie breaks it off with paul bc after she sees nolan again she says “it didnt feel right being with paul anymore” like,, its so bs. Comic debbie has no self respect.

“this place is beautiful” you say taking in you and jude’s new apartment in madrid. it was a surreal moment for both of you guys- finally living together in a whole new country. it was scary to say the least, and you thought it was something you wanted up until you actually had to leave.

it was immature of you, to not tell jude about your doubts of moving with him but everything happened so fast because you were sure he would understand. but with the transfer and him just being so happy about being at madrid you didn’t have the heart to tell him that you weren’t going to stay.

jude smiled down at you his eyes glistening with love that would’ve made any other girl drop to their knees, but all you could feel was guilt. you don’t know how it got to this point, all you knew was that as soon as you got of that jet reality hit you like a train wreck.

as much as you loved jude you couldn’t just leave all that you worked for just to support his needs, you had things you wanted to accomplish too. and you wanted to be there for him, truly. just not here.

“yeah, i can’t believe we are going to be living together- like a dream innit” his voiced laced with contentment.

you sighed deeply before giving him a smile, but your eyes showed something deeper.

after a while of trying to settle you sat on the floor looking for food places near you and jude sat next to you tapping away on his phone.

“i still don’t understand why your bags aren’t here.. i swear i’ve called multiple times.” jude said frustrated letting out a huff.

at this your body stiffness and you go quiet biting your lip, you knew he was going to bring it up at one point. the thought of just telling him ran through your mind but your body just wouldn’t let you— you just continued scrolling through the phone.

“you put yours with mine right?”

you sighed, “i don’t know jude, i’m sure they will show up eventually.” you said not wanting to talk about it anymore.

he scoffed and looked at you, “i mean i paid for the bags to get here today, so no i don’t want to hear ‘eventually’ that’s just bs.” he looked back down at his phone and started typing.

you closed your eyes and took a deep breath before talking, “they aren’t coming jude.” your voice was low and full of disappointment.

jude snapped his head up towards you his face completely unreadable, “what?” it sounded almost like a laugh when he said it.

“they aren’t com—” you started but he cut you off and it almost sounded like he was confused.

“no- yeah i heard you the first time..” jude trailed off, guessing he was trying to understand what you meant by that.

you turned to face him before you started again, “i sent them back home.” and with that you genuinely couldn’t tell what he was thinking right now.

“you what?”

he wasn’t yelling but he might as well have been figuring you were already about to start bursting into tears. “jude..” you grabbed at his hands and he let you.

he let out a soft laugh, trying to hide how confused he felt right now.

“im so confused right now baby, what is happening.”

your breathing started to pick up but there was no backing out now. you picked at his hands and he just continued to look at you, and you couldn’t believe you had to break his heart tonight.

“i sent them back, because i’m not staying here jude. i can’t.” tears threatened to come out as you spoke.

he was still quiet so you continued to speak. “i mean- i just it’s just all too much for me, this isn’t my life.”

his face scrunched up, “what do you mean this isn’t your life?”

“i mean it feels like.. sometimes i’m like living for you? like i’m just giving up my life for you.. and i can’t do that anymore.”

“i still don’t get it y/n” he gave you a look as to explain.

“i stopped going to school for you, i stopped working for you, jesus jude i left my home for you. the only place i ever knew just for you, i just need to do something for me for once.” and of course jude had no idea that you felt this way and the intention wasn’t for him to you just felt that you needed to get it off your chest.

“so what? you were just lying this whole time? why would you even tell me you wanted to move here with me when you didn’t.”

he took a small pause, “and i never asked you to do anything of that, that was your choice- all of this was your choice so don’t make it seem like i made you do any of that.” his voice started to raise.

and he was right, he never made you do any of that. he never asked anything from you but support and it just went a little too far. but your face dropped when he started to pull his hands away from you.

jude was just completely out of it, he didn’t know at all what to think this was mad. how could his own girlfriend do something like that.

you scrambled to your feet and you couldn’t feel anything but hurt in your heart. “jude i have a new job back home, i have to work and support myself- i don’t kick around a ball and get paid for it jude.” and for some reason you were starting to get a little pissed.

“i can support you, i told you that!” you rolled your eyes at this because he still couldn’t grasp your point.

“jude i can’t rely on you to provide everything for me! i won’t let you do that.” you raised your voice at him while the tears that were welling up earlier started to pour out, and you quickly wiped it.

jude’s eyes looked so pleading and it almost made you fold but you couldn’t. it’s like he needed he you so bad to just say that this was some joke.

you weren’t shocked that this is the way this was going but god you wish it hadn’t. “are you upset?” it was a stupid question but you had to ask something.

“am i upset?” he looked at you as if it was the most unbelievable thing he’s ever heard.

“am i upset that my girlfriend lied to me? and came to whole different country with me without the intention of staying?”

“i’m jumping of fucking joy” he spat walking away from you muttering curses to himself.

you trailed behind him trying not to get upset at his attitude since this was your fault technically, “okay jude but you have to understand where i’m coming from..”

“i have to?” he scoffed walking through the hallway.

“you should!”

you follow him into what was supposed to be our bedroom, already having a king sized bed placed in the center of the big room. you watch as he plops down on the bed his back sinking straight into it.

he let out a loud groan whilst running his hands down his face. “what am i supposed to do now?” he says as you sit next to him on the bed.

“jude.. ”

he stayed quiet and all you could hear was his heavy breathing. “you told me you wanted this.. us together like this. what changed?”

his hands started to tremble trying to think of what to say, because he genuinely didn’t know why all of a sudden you started to feel this way.

“are- are you falling out of love with me?” jude blurted out, his voice shaking. he didn’t even know where this question came from but he felt like he had to ask.

you could’ve sworn your eyes almost jumped out your eye sockets because how could he think something like that.

“jude. why would i ever stop loving you, almost everything i do is because i love you.” you explain with your voice trembling.

“so why can’t you stay with me?” jude’s voice was low almost like he didn’t want you to hear him, he hated being emotional in front of you but at this moment he couldn’t help it.

“i’ve already told you jude, i have a job and a life back at home i can’t let it go now.. i’ve worked too hard to just let it all go..”

he was now fully sat up looking at the plain white wall in front of us. it was such an uncomfortable and tense silence you just wish you could go home and cry your eyes out. this was horrible.

he also wanted to cry and tell you how messed up this whole situation was. but nothing came out seemed like the only reaction he had was putting his hands over his face.

you grab his hands away from his face, but he turns his head to avoid making eye contact with you. he was disappointed and you understood why he felt like this completely, i mean springing this up on him the day you guys were moving in have to be too 10 worst ideas.

“jude look at me please.” you pleaded biting down on your bottom lip.

he slowly turned his head to face you, and his pouty face just made you smile taking his face in your hands making him look at you. as you continued to smile at him he couldn’t help but smile too- you were just so beautiful to look at he felt like he could admire you for hours.

“i’m sorry love, i should’ve told you. but you were just so happy- with the transfer and everything i couldn’t ruin that.”

“if you would’ve told me before i would’ve been a lot more understanding than i am now.. you know that.” jude sighed.

“i know..” you pulled his head into your shoulder taking his head in both of your arms massaging the back of his neck in circles.

you hear him let out another sigh of contentment which made you smile, “if it makes you feel any better i’ll be here for 3 weeks with you.”

“for some reason that doesn’t make me feel better but at least i’ll have you for a bit.”

“so are you okay? with me leaving?” you asked lifting his head back up.

“am i okay with it? no, absolutely not.” he answered and you let out saddened sigh.

“but i will accept it and continue to make our relationship work, because i love you and don’t want to lose you.” jude said and you smiled throwing yourself on top of him basically straddling him, both of you giggling.

“of course my girlfriend has to want to be an independent woman.” jude shook his head and you both laugh.

That's so fucked up that people are romantizing Franco, because even Red Barrels are showing him as a total creep and disgusting person. In Outlast Tag I have a feeling that some artists are making him completly different character, making him charming/safe/lovely. I even have seen some people who were drawing him with normal face (without big forehead) and you couldn't tell them that it's the right character design! I feel like Franco enjoyers are more agressive than fans of other Outlast character. Even with Coyle/Eddie simps they seem to understand that they are evil and they murder others, but with Franco I feel like they can take it when someone tell them that he's grown up, murder people in very brutal way and his voice lines are just disgusting... it really seems that people are getting agressive only because someone tell some shit about 🎀✨️Franco🎀✨️. I know his fans isn't the only one that have stick in their ass (cause I seen a lot of shit bout Coyle/Big Grunts/Easterman etc.) but yall need to understand that FRANCO IS A GROWN ASS MAN and you would run for your life if you'd meet someone in irl as 1% fucked up as he is. Saying that he's just a Baby and he made nothing wrong is just 🤮 and problem is in yall if you justificate him and things he made.

I partially agree with the part about changing his appearance to make him look more "normal" or whatever, but at the same time people are allowed to interpret their favs however they want to. They can draw / write for him however they want to. I don't like "fixing" his face, just because it (personally) feels like saying "he's too ugly", but again, that's just me. As an artist, I know that people are going to have different interpretations of a character I like. It's just part of other people existing in the world. Not everyone thinks like you do, and that's okay.

Do you know how many posts I saw (and STILL see) about Eddie Gluskin, doing essentially the same thing as what you said people do with Franco?? That man would cut you open to "make a baby in you" no hesitation and people still ""romanticize"" him (me fuckin included I LOVE YOU EDDIE). Its just part of liking fucked up characters, some people are going to want to make them more "normal".

Personally, I see the normalization as more like wanting to give him some normalcy in his life, because of his past / lore. I love the idea of letting Franco have a normal life, be a normal person. A life where he never had to deal with the stupid Mafia stuff, had a decent father and never ran into Murkoff, having a normal, happy life. But, I also seriously adore his original, fucked up character.

Honestly, who actually cares if people are "justifying" his actions??? None of them are real. He is not real. I have never understood the sentiment that you have to make sure people know you don't justify a fictional characters actions... they are not real. It's not a real person. None of the things he did happened.

Maybe it's just me, but I would not run from someone like him. That's not some edge lord "im so evil and dark" bs but because of my real life experiences. Been with and around people in my life / family who are quite like him and I didn't run.

I imagine some of us are using it as a sort of coping mechanism, because (at least for me) some of us dealt with people who treated us like he would. Though, that's getting into personal territory, and I won't try and speak for others.

All I can really say is either learn that not everybody's going to have the same ideas as you or block the tag. Sorry if that's too harsh a response, but life is too short to really give that much of a fuck about someone /something other people like.

And I've said this before but this is literally Outlast, all of the characters are this fucked up, it's not just him.

Mask of the phantom

I just watched Batman: Mask of the Phantasm for the first time, and I can’t be the only one who gets teenage vibes from Bruce—not in terms of design, but in attitude (both in the present and the flashbacks I know he was most definitely just starting out then im not a complete fool). His relationship with Alfred especially stands out. While Alfred has always been his butler, there’s a strong parental dynamic between them in this movie—at least in my opinion. The level of sass Alfred throws at Bruce feels less like that of a strict employee and more like a parent dealing with a stubborn, independent child. Meanwhile, Bruce himself gives off serious angsty, rebellious-teen energy. Of course there’s still love between them in later year but I feel like their dynamic changed over the years, becoming more professional, though Alfred never lost his occasional sassy moments.

Then there’s Bruce’s relationship with Andrea. One of the reasons she left him was that they were too young, which emphasizes that and it was obvious this was his first real love—one he clearly never got over. His anger is always a part of his character, but it feels even more intense here. That said, I could just be interpreting things in a way that supports my theory (not that it changes the overall plot in any major way).

As for the Joker, it seems like he might just be starting out. His hideout looks rough, and while Joker (as we know him) has money, he could easily have a better lair if he wanted to. This makes me think he’s still in the early days of his criminal career. Plus, Joker already knows Batman well, meaning he’d immediately recognize that Bruce wouldn’t kill anyone—so if they weren’t just starting out, he should’ve known it wasn’t him from the start. Another interesting point is the complete absence of Harley Quinn—not even a mention of her. While that might not mean anything, it adds to my case.

I would say the same for the robins but it’s not uncommon for them to be left out a Batman movie adaptation, although all of them without a single reference in an animated movie isn’t as common, so I’m not sure about that.

This could all be common knowledge if I’m right, but oh well.

Side note: Mask of the Phantasm wasn’t as good as it was made out to be on TikTok. Don’t get me wrong—it was good, but nowhere near the top animated Batman movie. The plot twists were predictable to me, like Andrea surviving and her being the Phantasm. I believed it was her father when the movie hinted at it being him, but she was always my first guess prior to finding out much of anything. Again, it’s a solid movie, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Also I would have really liked to know how Andrea done her disappearing thing I mean they could have gave the most bs answer ever and I’d be happy, I would have loved to know.

and finally....my ugly son. He just. he just gave up. Yes he was still keiji takatsuki somewhat carefree fun-loving wanting to help others but. that naivety had completely disapeared. those dreams completely disapeared. He's happy with his body (yayay less dysphoria!!!) and. thats about it. SHIT apartment, SHIT jobs, but ya gotta keep positive right!!! righ??? right. hes become almost compeltely emotionally repressive, even more than he was in his high school years. Any sort of guilt, nostaligia, sadness, anything that makes him feel weak or...makes him remember what was left of both him and the others...turned off like a light! When he isnt working one of his jobs, hes at home, feeding the stray cats that sneak in and scratch him in the middle of the night, calling his mom telling her "everything's okay! No- i dont need money...no im not lonely...yes..im getting enough sleep" (all complete bs if u couldnt tell!!).

also i never mentioned this but their sekai is actually very developed in my head i just never wrote it down. Their/his sekai is a once beaming city, which broke down first when keiji was in high school in Otaru (b4 he moved 2 the shibuya region). He met black-out and. went to the sekai and. soon! the city was rebuilding. it was taking time, and the inital collapse had deeply affected the virtual singers...but things were getting better.

Then. they broke up.

and it was just demolished.

They used to visit it now and then but as the years passed...anywasy now its more of an apocolyptic/dusty city. Not overtaken by plants because...theres nothing to nurture it.

anyways, megumi finally decides to go back to japan. She meets with keiji first ofc because. yeah! well. he is surprised to say the least. He welcomes her in and its like meeting your high-school sweetheart again except you both cant handle intense emotions and. ugh. whareever

really this is less anger with minato and more with kishimoto because it feels like the narrative wants you to agree with him. thats what had me so bugged because i dont really mind as much when characters do wrong things when youre supposed to disagree with their actions but here it seems like kishimoto really doesnt understand how awful hes making minato sound.

smiling, kushina says she lost the argument and naruto is very happy to hear that minato did it because he believes in him and that solves the conflict of naruto calling minato out. and the weird way the narrative handled genocide and the unresolved systematic conflicts really support this because hed clearly jump at the chance to push through any pro konoha bs.

Slight SPOILER WARNING and opinions on the DLC now that I fully completed it:

Personally I really liked it, the new weapons were fun, I absolutely LOVED the backhand blades for my berserker lady(love the anime rush/ash of war move, its probably one of the more lore accurate moves I got for her from the whole game XD ), and I have started enjoying the Smithscript Daggers and Cirques with my sharpsooter lady and the Smithscript Axe has felt really great on my big Faith/Str viking boi.

Bosses were enjoyable for the most part, Hog Rider needs a fucking hitbox fix cause its absolutely busted.

And, while I loved the spectacle of the final boss, Phase 2 is the most obnoxious thing I have seen in a from software game, this piece is to illustrate my frustration with this fight, the lightshow its fucking absurd, cant see shit trought the whole thing and the fact that the 2nd phase starts so early in the fight is absolute BS!

But I did manage to beat it without changing my RP build an not using a spirit until like 30% of his health on my last 2 atempts, so im happy about that.

Def gonna be using spirits in the DLC now that my first run is done.

Overall that was really the only absolutely terrible time I had with the bosses(and HogRider, took me less tries than expected but hated every minute of it XD )

Lore was fun, not a huge fan of the conclusion (Its no Ringed City or Old Hunters levels of epic conclusion imo)

Absolutely loved 2 specific NPCs

Also, that Scatman Fragments system, didnt hate it , but Helping people feels pretty terrible with how they work in coop. Not a fan of that experience so far.

Overall, enjoyed my time and will be enjoying my time with my other 2 main characters

hey all! i have too many thoughts and instead of going on a long ramble on my priv i thought i could.. y'know.. actually share my thoughts for once! i'm gonna say this right now that my thoughts may leave a rather negative tongue, so if mkulia (or mk!) is ur comfort and u don't wanna hear anything bad i suggest not reading this!! without further ado, time to ramble!

i'll talk about MK first before i talk about my thoughts on MKulia. right off the bat: she's getting eliminated EP9. this just goes without saying i think but i want to elaborate on this more. in EP8 we have: raj | wayne | julia | MK | caleb | priya | damien | zee in EP10 we see damien:

and in EP11 we see wayne and raj's clothes:

and going back to EP10's description, both julia and priya are mentioned:

AS FAR AS EP9 GOES, this leaves: raj | wayne | julia | MK | caleb | priya | damien MK is not mentioned nor seen. at all. and yes, raj is left up in the air as well but at least there is higher hopes for our silly guy. there has been the popular theory of "well, raj may have given wayne his hoodie to remember him!" but... i think the odds of that are low? raj gifting wayne something before getting eliminated is very plausible, but i see no reason as to why he'd give away his hoodie to him? i feel like if that was the case he would have given wayne something else IMO. even if we don't take it at full face value, there's still a very low chance that MK's safe from elimination (and she'd probably be safe for like another 2 episodes if she were to be safe EP9. the odds of her being a finalist are also incredibly low). after being outed as a cheater, she hasn't been doing all that well in challenges either and since EP9's challenge has to do something with breaking objects, i can only imagine how well she'd do with that. and MKulia can make their alliance not-so-obvious-and-not-so-strong for so long. people are gonna want to break them up. now let's say MK's out EP9. this leaves both priya and julia as the only female contestants remaining in the game. and assuming they're going to add a female finalist it's going to be julia. and ALSO assuming we're going to get helpers for the finale, we MAY get more mkulia content. it's not that bad! may i also add EP9's title is 'Breaking Up Is Hard To Do' while yes this is about prileb, this could also be about mkulia. with mk getting eliminated, julia has to deal with fighting on her own. and we know very well that julia cares for MK, platonic or not. So what does this mean for MKulia? people fail to realize what mk getting eliminated means. we get to see how julia deals with it (unless she just moves on and doesn't care like what priya kind of did when millie got eliminated ... i'd cry.)

plus, if MK does get eliminated next episode we'll have more MKulia content in EP9 without a doubt. there's still so many questions left unanswered and i'm sure those will be resolved before MK goes home. and honestly, i have high hopes. i think MKulia will end off on a sweet note. do i think we'll get canon MKulia? absolutely not. it'd be really nice, but i doubt it. at best, it'll probably be up to viewers interpretation whether or not julia's care for MK comes from a romantic or platonic standpoint. i think that's how far we're going to get. calling it queer bait is a little bit of an exaggeration IMO, then again i am very picky with the fandoms i am in so i don't really know what it's like to ship something that is possibly queerbait. we just gotta buckle up and endure whatever BS will get thrown at us MKulia nation. o7

and hopefully i am very wrong about this. i have extremely low expectations so i can be happy if im wrong LMFAO!!
