This one is really interesting because the relationship tab is not really accurate with the descriptions lenghts so i find really interesting how they made c!dream's description the longest one while c!sapnap's description was like 2 lines long 😭😭

Ok but this description is so sad, "They stuck by each other's side. [...] But as time flew by, they seemed to get more distant." I don't agree that the dethronement was "spontaneous" because c!dream did say that he did it because he cared about c!george and he didn't want him to keep losing his stuff to assasination attempts and because of the danger of being associated to c!dream... plus the other reasons of c!george not staying neutral to the dsmp faction.

It haunts me that they never got to talk to each other once c!dream got in pandora and their relationship was left like that in "bad terms" because of the dethronement but the way they both thought about each other with c!dream wanting gnf to visit him and talk, and c!george dreaming about dream leaving the prison and being a team together again..... idk c!dnf my doomed yaoi..........

They are a love match! Lando, of course, came out the season before the current one, and it just so happened that Sir Carlos was visiting from Spain. Everyone had always warned Lando that if he did not mind his manners and behave properly he'd never catch a mate during the Season - but for Sir Carlos, it was love at first sight! Carlos' family is not very wealthy, so there was a long battle over marriage settlements that nearly nixed the marriage altogether, but Lando insisted to his parents that he would not take anyone else.

At the time of Ch11 Lando is carrying their first child.

Duke Mick and Marquess Jack

This one was arranged, and while happy enough, Mick and Jack are still learning a lot about each other, as they were married pretty much the second Jack hit marriageable age. The mating was planned by Archduke Michael and Marquess Mick from Jack's birth (had Jack been an omega, he would have been mated to Duchess Gina, instead) as a means of uniting the families of these two longstanding friends. Michael and Marquess Mick met on the battlefield and were renowned as two of the greatest generals of their time; however, in a fall from a horse while Mick was young, Michael was wounded, and no-one has seen him since.

Mick is very insecure about being older than Jack, though Jack assures him it doesn't matter, and Mick had plenty of offers. Mick is carrying their first child, but is also insecure about the fact that it took him some time to get pregnant.

Duke Lewis and Lord George

I won't drop all the juiciness of their story here - that's for the prequel! But they are a love match, and while it is not uncommon for an older single alpha to arrange a marriage with a much younger omega, it is very unusual for their marriage to come about from love.

George and Oscar have been friends for a number of years, and their love has been something Oscar has aspired to have in his own life.

When Lewis' family started to get on his back about marrying, he and Mark considered marrying Oscar to him, to serve multiple purposes: to meet Oscar's marriage requirement, to provide heirs for Lewis, for Oscar to be mated to an alpha Mark could trust, and to combine their political power and wealth. Both felt weird about it, but thought it the best option. Then Lewis met George...

Oscar's birth family

This was asked in one of the comments, and no, Oscar's birth family won't be showing up. Why? They don't know he exists!

Oscar's birth father is a wool merchant who deals with the great estate, and unfortunately, had a reputation as a scoundrel. He seduced one of the maids of his house and took her to his bed, lying to her with promises of marriage and a happy life. When she confronted him after her heat, however, he threw her out, not knowing she was expecting. Later, he left Greenleigh to work at another estate up north.

She went to family at first, in London, but no-one would take in an omega pregnant out of wedlock, and she wound up giving birth in a poorhouse. She was very ill after the birth and, in the hope of giving her son a better life, decided to abandon him at Greenleigh - she had heard the staff were kind there and hoped that perhaps he would be taken in by them, and maybe grow up as a footman or a stablehand.

She never knew that Oscar was adopted by Mark himself, because she sadly died not long after.

While society knows that Oscar is adopted, they don't know his origins, and indeed, he looks enough like Mark that more than a few people believe that Oscar is Mark's bastard son. (There are also rumours he is a bastard of the King, given to Mark to raise to cover up his existence. Christian, Daniel, Mark and Oscar all find this very funny.)

Oscar and Lily

Lily is the daughter of a former chambermaid in Shell House and the head gardener there. (Their love story was so romantic that even Mark got involved to bring them together.) She was born only a few months before Oscar was found, and she was often allowed to be taken into the nursery to play with him.

When she was old enough to start in service herself as the scullery maid, Mark asked the housekeeper and David to keep an eye on her and ensure she was taught everything needed to be a lady's maid, as he planned for her to be Oscar's friend and advisor. Lily was put into Oscar's service when they were sixteen, and they are fast friends, as close as society and their roles will allow.

A lot of people viewed Mark suspiciously when he adopted an omega pup, because they believed that an alpha could never properly raise or love an omega pup he hadn't sired, without it being weird...

But because baby Oscar had never scented anyone before - his mother had never done so - Mark's was the first scent he smelled, stored indelibly in his brain as father. His instincts recognise Mark as his father, regardless of blood, which is why he can still chirp to him like a pup, and is unaffected by Mark's cycles. (The second person Mark handed the baby to was, of course, David.)

Logan, Kyle, and Dalton

Kyle is the under-valet of the Sargeants' house, and assisted both Logan and Dalton as needed from the time Dalton turned eighteen. With Logan often overlooked or ignored by his parents, not being the one who will inherit their fortune and business, Kyle became his best friend and confidante.

Logan has a modest fortune settled on him, but Dalton will be the wealthy one. Mark's concern was not with Logan's fortune during the settlements, but to make sure that Oscar would be properly protected; nevertheless he has promised that Logan will be looked after if the marriage goes sour.

Dalton married the daughter of a wealthy steel family as was required of him, but only agreed on the condition that his parents let Logan find a love match. To say he is angry that his parents went back on their word is an understatement. He has already decided that whatever the gender of the child his wife is carrying, they will not have an arranged marriage.

as always this is very long but i think it's important to paint the whole picture, please bare with me!!

so, important to note, Kenny doesn't have a great relationship with his mum for a very long time. he doesn't rekindle his relationship with her until his third year in PT, and he hadn't spoken to her for ... many years prior to this.

evelyn and george knew Kenny's grandpa (also named Kendal, lol), and evelyn specifically had a hell of a lot of respect for him. they were good friends! kenny's grandpa was a pretty beloved member of the community.

so, when kenny comes to PT, evelyn is all over him, obviously. she invites him over for dinner multiple times, tells him stories of his grandpa, and she really, truly sees kenny's grandpa in him. they're both very gentle, caring people. she loves kenny just as much as she did his grandpa.

so, obviously, when alex and kenny become friends, she's really happy about this! she's glad alex has a friend who isn't haley, and she truly believes that kenny is a good influence, of sorts, on alex. for a long time, prior to K+A friendship, she was very worried about alex. he was kind of... closed off? his only friend was haley (and emily, by association) and he didn't really do much. alex was fine, she didn't have much reason to worry about him, but there was, obviously, the gay thing.

alex's lack of understanding about / his willingness to accept his sexuality really held him back as an individual, because it was somthing he was very insecure about. evelyn had her suspicions (as did literally everyone, lol), but she didn't know anything for sure, and never brought it up with alex.

she figured out pretty quickly that there was something other than friendship going on, but again, never pushed it, never said anything. UNTIL, summer of year 2, when A+K stop talking for a few weeks (this is because Kenny asked Alex to make their relationship official, and Alex rejected it due to his insecurities). she talks to kenny about it, but doesn't tell him her suspicions explicitly, but. you know. heavily implies that she knows what's going on.

she talks to Alex not long later, then other things ensue, blah blah blah. but here's the point i'm trying to make (LMFAO):

kenny and evelyn are family. she claims him as family from the second she meets him, because to her, Grandpa Kendal was also her family. She had kept in touch with Kenny's mother up until his brother's death. she knows Kenny in more ways than he's aware of, and was willing to accept him from the get-go, whether alex was involved or not. she treats him in the same way a blood-related grandmother would, in her Evelyn way -- Feeding him, checking on his wellbeing, asking about his life and genuinely seeking him out in order to spend time with him. even after Kenny and his mother reconcile, Evelyn is more of a 'mother' to Kenny than his own mum ever is.

kenny, who's been deprived of a 'family' for so long (dead brother, poor relationship with his parents, his dad never comes back into the picture) appreciates evelyn so, so much. truly, he loves her the same as he would a family member, too. he appreciates her support, her wisdom, and absolutely adores her & alex's relationship. it's all very sappy and meaningful and emotional for him. they become very close once K+A are in a relationship -- He visits her regularly when Alex is out of town for gridball, and makes sure that he makes sure she's well and healthy. keeping her company, you know?

I never really liked the romance in this story to begin with (or romances in general). George shannon jessica kanon all bore and annoy me i'd be happy if i hadn't wasted time reading their scenes. But at least beatrice and battler were interesting tearing into each other and now i dont even have that. New chick beatrice dropped any interest i had in the pair off a cliff. Like what was interesting was beatrice having fun being evil and bullying battler that sort of heated back and forth (also femdom). And now that back and forth dynamic is with erika and beatrice is narratively reduced to an accessory for battler. Not even sure i like the story anymore but im like 2/3 though the game so maybe i'll finish it for the sake of finishing it. The romances really are getting in the way of my enjoyment.

Between the love game and the marriage plot point fe... the author witch is a shitty trope fanfic author. Wow this is bad. I hate it here. Really marriage is a ball and chain to tke the ring. This is really stupid.

Mother???? Beatrice was created to love battler split from another beatrice. I know the author is doing like a fated lovers thing but i'm a hard sell on this trope it easily has unsettling implications. Like that beatrice was raised specifically to appeal to and to be battler's wife. Also what is uo with the flashback i'm guess those are battler's forgotten memories brought up a few episodes ago.

Given how much kanon refers to shanin as his big sister this is just more evidence the author forgot shannon is 16 and the same age as kanon. She's consistently treated by the narrative as older than 16. Also if kanon has been a servant aince he was aix why didnt he meet jessica until they were teenagers

there's so many beatrices in this story.... So uh older and younger "sisters" fused? But if one was made new from the rules to love battler and the other is the embodiment of rokenjima urban legends then neither of them remember the first 3 episodes and the time actually spent bonding with battler.

Ok lion gender icon. So in this fragment Beatrice 2 kinzo incest baby was pushed by natsuhi but nanjo saved it, then raised as Yasu, a servant. Yasu started at 6 as a servant and was said to be the only servant so young and that this never happens. The best supported interpretation so far is that lion was intended for the role of the woman beatrice but performs gender and lives in a masculine role. They're assigned male at birth but choose androgyny and live beyond rigid manhood. Imagine being such a chad that you're transfem and transmasc at the same time. And the stakes are maids.

And then yasu made themself beatrice! I always did wonder are gaap's clothes glued to her? Yasu made a witchsona! George does not act 7 years older than shannon and 5 more than jessica and battler. Like in the scenes reminiscing about their childhood they all feel much closer is age. Wait so is shanon separate from white beatrice or no. Im confused. Also umineko is showing its long development cycle you can tell the author is moving on to new ideas. The tone has changed as this has become a story of outlandish witches. SHANNON AND WHITE BEA ARE ...from(?) the same person! because battler promised that he would come for shannon's answer next year and then he never came and when he did he didn't mention it! And that was the forgotten promised gold beatrice despaired and lost her will to live over. And shannon was wanted to promise the rest of her life to him.(Also the incest is inescapable as someone else says "3/4 kinzo").

Men can come and go, husbands (hopefully they don’t go but you get my gist), times move on and whatnot but a best friend that’s your family is forever. Thank you for giving Frankie and George that beautiful friendship.

george and frankie. you occupy my every waking thought. it HAD to be them!!!! aside from the fact they've been in it together for the longest, literally no one else in this story can understand their experiences as well as each other. these two have been working their asses off for SIX. YEARS. those girls deserve this more than anyone

it's been really integral to me throughout this story to place frankie's platonic and romantic relationships on equal footing. it's very important to acknowledge that her relationship with rosie is NEVER going to outweigh the one she has with george (and vice versa) - these people are her soulmates, and they're both equally necessary in her life. i think this chapter was really important for that reason - yes, they're celebrating with the men they love, but they're also celebrating with each other

MAGGIE IS ON THE HORIZON. and by horizon i mean. we are meeting maggie next chapter

frankie and bucky. ohhhhh help me. they're everything to me. they're really just this huge hodge-podge of different feelings all bubbling together but in the end it never really matters what kind of love they have for each other because it's still Love and they both need each other so dearly.

The days fall into a rhythm of morning coffee and cigarettes on the deck, easy midday walks through the sprawling countryside, stopping to look at sheep or cows or horses and pet the friendly ones, then afternoons spent making music just for the sake of making it or watching films or reading. Sometimes, they pass a joint, or two, back and forth in the evening, and life settles into a routine Matty's never really had. It's nice, really nice, for a while, but before long Matty begins to feel like something is missing.

They're so soft!! To be so honest, some of this is me being a little bit weirdly nostalgic about the early lockdowns because even though everything was absolutely awful, I had no responsibilities and I love having no responsibilities, at least for a little while. I did start to go a little bit crazy, but who didn't? Who hasn't gone a little bit crazy? Fictional!M+G had to get a dog so they didn't go crazy.

Fictional!George loves fictional!Matty so much!! They're getting a puppy and fictional!Matty's so excited and fictional!George is so happy that he's happy. Everyone's so in love!

Fictional!Matty and Mayhem have the same excitement levels about things right now.

Again, fictional!George is so in love and they're so happy! They both absolutely have collections of candid photos of each other taken since they were like fifteen.

I was going to give it about a week before Mayhem was on the bed, but you might be right. All fictional!Matty has to do is ask really nicely and he gets what he wants.

Things are going to get sad again, unfortunately for poor fictional!M+G. They might be happy one day. We'll see.

OHHHH MY GOD. this concept is so simple and heartbreaking. Briar being booted to the past at the age he is (17/18) and meeting moms old friends, like stepping into the photographs... they don't know who he is but they let him stay. I mean. What's one more freeloader in a house of 8 of them 😭

Theres a carrying theme of briar having an uncanny resemblance to dream in the face, especially the eyes (and the matching beauty mark on his cheek instead of under his eye) but dream doesnt have any family or any children, so its just a weird... Thing. They razz him for it. Briar is scared to tell any of them whats happened (magic wish gone wrong, monkeys paw type thing?) because, well... who would believe him, and how the hell would he prove it anyway?

Summary: Bilbo gets a second chance, but how long is it before he realizes it. He does things to make himself happy and treats the dwarves like the lovely family they are. Also setting Bilbo a bit younger here not middle aged but about 40ish so like 10 or so years earlier to give him more time with his dwarves.

This might be considered a random vent, I will do so too as I am writing this at 2 am and I have school tomorrow and there is a lot of things going on irl but what still hits me right at the heart is the songs heat waves and helium. the first time i started reading heat waves my mentality was in shambles– i was locked up in my room forever trying to make something out of myself, something my family would approve of. during all of those online classes and whatever shit i had to do dsmp popped into my life. i met all these content creators that told me to live and care about myself first, they told me that feeling bad was okay and during all this, i very randomly stumbled upon a lyrics video of heat waves, that was when i first found the fic under the comments. It was just a little fic i wanted to read to distract myself, then i read it once, twice, thrice–i read it all over on every new episode, till dream and george—no more like heat waves became all i could think about. it did a great job distracting me but when i listened the songs it started to hurt. i dont even know how i made it into such an obsession, i blame it on being a rope to hold onto when i was on the verge of falling. then i did the same thing to helium too, cuz i was obviously way too down already, it did not feel good when i first found out its discontinued, but its the authors choice and i respect what theyre comfortable in.

And after all that rolling down and getting delusional in the fictional dnf shit, they meet up. dream face reveals and the entire fandom shakes all over, everything becomes real all over again.

Looking back at my falling self holding onto a mere fic and now seeing them actually really holding onto each other and always being there for each other, it truly blessed me enough to write such a thing publicly, i really can see them being happy with each other and its so, so amazing to see their development over the years.

Now im just getting emotional heh.

today i woke up late AGAIN! how? IDK!!! I NEED TO GET MY SHIT TOGETHER. i've just been so fucking tired man. i started rewatching bobs burgers again and it's been making me feel so happy! it's so different from family guy like THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE LMFAOOO... so nice and healing though, inasense... i remember the first time i watched bob's burgers, i was always laying on the couch and playing my ipad games,, it was such a weird time in my life, but everything is different now !!
