Rachi wasn't the type to get nervous easily. He had always been confident - perhaps even overly confident to those who had known him for years - since he was a child, and that wasn't something that was going to be easily changed about him. He was an extrovert who thrived on companionship and loved a fun atmosphere where he could laugh and dance freely, and just be his lively self. When he performed, Rachi wanted all eyes on him. He thrived on the attention, looked his audience straight in the face, exaggerated his movements - his natural environment, that only added to his confidence and self-assuredness.

It took a lot for Rachi to feel any differently. But, he was capable of thinking with his brain and not his heart - or dick - sometimes. They were rare and few, but they did exist. Now was one of them. Rachi had to talk himself into organising this meeting, the nervousness he felt not about why he was having it, but at the potential rejection. Because if it didn't go in the way Rachi hoped it would, he feared that he'd never be satisfied again.

And that's what it was all about for Rachi: feeling satisfied. Feeling good. Getting high in the most primal and natural way possible, in the form of sex that allowed him to explore his desires with a partner who matched him perfectly. Rachi had sworn off of love, but he could never swear off of sex - and there was one person who did it for him like nobody else could.

Aisoon. That escort. Who Rachi was waiting to meet with.

He had decided on CHATA café in Bangkok, since it was close to his studio and not too far from Aisoon's place, which he had visited the first time they had had sex. He was currently sipping an iced latte, scrolling through his phone and listening to the background music, occasionally glancing up at the entrance to see whether Aisoon had arrived. Rachi had to stop himself from bringing up their text message thread, knowing there was nothing new but hoping for some kind of indication that Aisoon was on his way or close by. He really, really needed to talk with him, about an idea that had been brewing in his head for the last couple of days regarding the kind of relationship he wanted to have with the escort.

Rachi sighed to himself, lying back on the couch he was seat at as he waited. He already knew what he was going to say. He was confident about it - but there was that nagging feeling there that Aisoon might not agree, and that was the only part of this meeting that he was nervous about. He would truly be out of options, if Aisoon wasn't on board.

Deciding that waiting around doing nothing was just making him more anxious, Rachi stood from his spot and sighed. He left his iced coffee on the table and glanced towards the door once more, no sight of Aisoon at all.

"Stupid, this is stupid," Rachi mumbled to himself.

Thinking that he should freshen up just in case, Rachi pocketed his phone and made his way to the restrooms.

[That was the last time I saw Nancy before she moved. Not once did I stop thinking of studying law at The University of Britechester. Being a lawyer would change things from the case to how people saw me. I would have that power and knowledge over people. No one would look down on me or think of that weak boy]

[I thought maybe, her parents would give me a chance once they saw me again. Honestly, I put so much pressure on myself to get those top grades. If I messed up, it was a sign my dad was winning this battle and he would continue to haunt me forever. Unless I gained that power. So I often studied until I exhausted myself]

[Time passed by and I was back in the city, ready to start my law degree at Britechester. The countryside healed all my childhood wounds, but the scars remained. To me, they were a reminder of how far I had come. I was moving forward in life and becoming stronger. And I was going to face him and the investigation again]
