OOf, been very busy. Midterms and everything really got to me, and I've had to put art on the back burner. On a side note, my piece got into the juried student exhibition at my college, and the exhibition went really well!
I meant to get out a piece for tmnt trauma event held by @traumas-tmntober-2024, but wasn't able too. I will definitely finish it eventually

The Bristol Art Museum - 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' - 2025 National Call for Art
A JURIED EXHIBIT: ‘Rock – Paper – Scissors’ -An Exhibition Focused Paper. - On View: Sunday, February 9 – Friday, April 4, 2025. - Artist Reception: Sunday, February 16, 2025 | 2:00 - 4:00 PM. - Juror: Toby Sisson earned her M.F.A. from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and is an Associate Professor and Director of the Studio Art Program at Clark University in Massachusetts. - Cash Awards - $1000. - Supported by the Brito Family Foundation. DESCRIPTION: "Rock – Paper – Scissors" draws inspiration from the classic game, translating its playful rivalry into the realm of art. In the game, rock beats scissors, paper beats rock, and scissors beat paper—but in this exhibition, paper takes center stage. This national call invites artists to explore materials and artistic processes that reflect the hard, the composite, and the delicate. Works may incorporate paper as a medium or subject and engage with broader themes of strength, fragility, and transformation. Playful experimentation and innovative approaches will unify the exhibit, welcoming all styles—from non-objective to abstracted realism.
Awards: $1000.
DEADLINE: DECEMBER 20, 2024.
