Hey everyone!! Personal update under the readmore. Prefacing this- this isn’t meant to be negative, and I’m not asking for financial support, just informing you all of a life change!

Getting to meet friends and even make new friends, meet my favourite artists ever, it’s been a wonderful weekend, I’m very excited for next year. :) when I first came to TFNATION in 2022, I didn’t know anyone there at all! Yet just walking up to people and getting to know them has found me a lovely group of people to befriend, and I’m so happy I found the courage to do so!! :) thank you all!!

I’ve had a big news, not positive but expected!

my families financial situation is about to change massively, we are going to be moving house and downsizing everything! likely this year! It has been a long time coming, situations change after all.

I feel I have been able to live an amazing lifestyle for a very long time, it makes sense that it would not always be this way! ^^

Anyway, why I’m telling you this, I was going to open commissions, but I’m going to be spending the next couple of weeks working on getting our house ready for sale, it’s going to be very complicated and require a lot of physical labour as I live on farmland and it needs fixing up, haha, we have a lot to sort through!

I was actually going to be opening up a dog grooming business here, but it looks like we will be moving to the other side of the country (cheaper!) so it’s going to be a bit of an overall reset. I’m actually quite, I’m not sure, excited? It’s something we’ve been aware of for a while, and I’ve been working really hard on my overall perspective on life. After my autism diagnosis last year, I was able to re-contextualise a lot in my past that was giving me grief. (some of you may have seen the occasional loss of composure on here HAHAHAHA) im doing much better, in fact I think this is going to be my new stage of life!!! I’m going to be tagging along with my family of course, but I think getting the news after this lovely weekend was the best possible time to receive it haha!

Just thought some of you may be interested. I was going to jump into new art topics, but as I am a little stressed, I will likely be returning to humanformers designs.

It is very comforting art topic to work on for me, and I was asked at the con for a potential volume two to the humanformers collection zine I created for the transformers convention!

It sold very well, and I was delighted by the reactions to them :) Simon furman bought a copy after visiting my table, he really liked them 😭😭💖💖 we met last year at a different con, before I had ever tabled and got the chance to have a really nice chat at an artist dinner (I wasn’t tabling at the con, my friend was ^^) He’s a lovely person :)

I may be changing the format a little, I have been so excited to learn that people have been using my designs for cosplay ideas!! So I was thinking I could do a detailed breakdown of the outfits for the characters too, to give people a clearer idea of what goes into the look!!!

You sit there pitifully with Eden for company after being rejected from Big Deal.

Yes you might have been give some money and advice to steal shoes, but a life of petty crime isn't what you hoped for. Joining Big Deal was supposed to be your lifeline. How long is the cash going to last until you really had to start beating people up for their shoes?

As you continue to wallow and think about what to do next, a girl steps into your line of sight.

You ignore her but she remains unmoving and instead waits patiently for your acknowledgement.

Ugh isn't she going to go away?

You scrub at your tear-stained face, annoyed at this disturbance and stranger interrupting your thoughts. "What do you want?"

"Can I stroke him?" she points in your direction, bouncing on her toes excitedly.

"No!" Who knew what sort of weirdos this street attracted, you couldn't let just anyone touch your best friend. You hug Eden possessively to your chest.

The girl starts to laugh, "I meant you. Your hair looks kinda funny."

You frown at her as your hands reach up to tug at your hair. Your mother had cut it. With her struggling sight, you knew that she didn't do a good job, but she always tried. It was a thing she always did for you and it made her happy. You didn't ask for this stupid girl's opinion.

"Go away!" You turn from her and give her a rude gesture instead.

"Jeez, I wasn't trying to be rude."

At your lack of response, she continues "I just meant that it's fluffy... like your dog's tail," she bends down for a closer inspection, "it's pretty cute actually."

"Oh..." Before you could even respond to that, she suddenly straightens back up.

"Hey! Wanna share some ricecakes? My granny said they're really good here!"

Ricecakes do sound good, your stomach growls at the thought. But nothing in life comes for free.

You think about it for a moment, you didn't have anything to lose. "Fine. You're definitely going to pay right?"

"Of course!" she tuts at you, irritated that you even needed to ask. Nonetheless, she crouches down to fuss Eden, giving him some belly rubs which he eagerly accepts. You watch them both fondly, maybe she can't be all that bad if Eden likes her.

After what feels like an eternity, she finally dusts herself off and wipes the excess fur on her jeans before reaching out to drag you along.

"My granny says I'm always collecting strays and troublemakers," she flashes a grin at you, "So what's both your names?"

"Erm, this is Eden and I'm... Johan."

steve could feel himself getting tired, el's begging becoming incoherent to him. at least he wont be dying all alone. tho he swears he could hear eddie's and billy's voice, screaming out his name.

before he fades out, he could feel warms hands pulling up his body as his back lays on someone's chest. he must've be hallucinating when he felt tears and sobs and more begging to not go around him. bc it sounds like they belong to billy and eddie.

maybe they're here bc he's finally joining them.

but what he doesnt know was that they were both very much alive, clutching onto steve's cold body as they beg him to come back. to come back to them so they can apologise to him for not being strong enough to protect him. so they can finally go to california and show him the beach, the ocean, teach him how to surf, showing him just how big the world actually is.

this time tho, they probably wont have a second chance.

It's so bold and noticeable and I feel this is a reflection of your personality because it just works so well with how expressive your work is and I feel that YOU are bold and noticeable. Actually your art is just one lovely reflection of your personality. Also the tones?? You set tones SO well through your work and it always leaves me in awe because I can take one look at ANY of your pieces, even original works or works for fandoms I'm not familiar with and know exactly which mood you were aiming for. You nail it every goddamn time and it's genuinely so impressive. Your composition and use of color (and even lack thereof in your greyscale pieces) are something to be admired and you genuinely make everything look so natural, it's unreal. just want to thank mod win for answering my last ask bc as the release date gets closer i've been thinking of nothing else but the implications of their answer bc if the (surviving) ilitw gang know abt, say redfieldmc, have they seen them or are they not ready yet 😔 if they did. specifically thinking of the ilitw LIs. oh i know that first meeting hurt like hell like they're happy they're still here and not mindless but it's sick that it had to be like THAT 😭 but i also wanted to share this bc i cannot remove the image of them just ghosting redfieldmc for months while helping the revival effort bc it pains them to see them as redfield. basically ilitw LIs @ redfieldmc:

I like hanging out with my friends, meeting new people, playing card and video games, going to the gym and playing sports (even if sometimes I'm not the best I'm still competitive), binge watching my favorite shows (mostly sitcoms and dramas but I also watch wrestling weekly I think its entertaining), horror movies, going thrifting and upcycling clothes, rollercoasters (I'll always wanna ride the biggest one), listening to music (fave genres are pop punk and rock but I love instrumentals as well when I want something more chill), I like iced coffee and will drink one even if its super cold outside lol, and I like trying new things so I while I have consistent hobbies sometimes I'll learn baking or playing chess and then move on when I get bored lol

I dislike close minded people, those who are selfish to the point of being heartless, bugs in general but especially centipedes or beetles, doing math, unnecessary strictness, not getting enough sleep, being treated like I'm genuinely stupid or weak (like I'm not the smartest or strongest but I'm not taking disrespect like that), being super messy, feeling too warm (especially at night), judging people by how they look (judging the vibes someone gives off vs just their looks is different and i dont like the second)

What I look for in a guy is someone who can balance me out and keep up with me, they don't have to like everything I like and we don't have to agree on everything but they have to understand me or try to, someone I can talk to about anything and everything even if its dumb or unimportant. I'm an affectionate person but I'm not pushy so I won't go overboard if they're uncomfortable but I do love spending quality time together so we should at least have some things in common to do together. I like to joke and play around so they have to be a bit lighthearted too and not shut me down. Also someone who's not too possessive or jealous and lets me have my independence because I don't like feeling smothered or confined. When it comes to romantic gestures whether grand or small I don't really mind either as long as their feelings show through clearly to me that's all i care about

both of you are very outgoing which attracts the both of you guys together! he laughs a lot when he’s with you :) he absolutely loves trying new things with you because he too, gets bored easily (except for basketball). sometimes he’ll try and challenge you to play basketball and even though you know you can’t beat him, the competitiveness in you jumps out hehe. kise is the kindest person you will ever meet, so being judgemental and aloof is out of question. he will always think in deep thought about what your opinions are and will engage 100% in a discussion with you. he will always respect you and will never, ever, insult you or let anyone insult you on your name. to him, you’re only the best and should only be treated like the best. anything less is unacceptable. kise will definitely give you your space because he likes people who will not tie him down; he’s busy too, with basketball and all these modelling contracts, he can’t always be there with you. but that’s okay! because you’ll be doing your own thing. kise likes to show you his love through physical affection. he’ll always drape over you, hold your hand, or lean on you. in one way or another, he is always close to you. you both always joke around with each other— so playful and loving that i envy it. kise always brings you an iced coffee whenever he sees you and on chill nights, you both stay in to watch comedies or horror. it’s most likely comedies though because he’s a scaredy cat. kise is definitely a man who can keep up with your lifestyle.

i have given this so. much. thought. at first i was going to choose hayama kotaro, but no, i thought akashi was a better fit and let me explain why: akashi loves how outgoing you are. you have the things he lacks— like a carefree energy, sunshine, rainbows. it makes him feel comfortable and safe, and that he can be his true self around you. he remembers everything you like: he’ll teach you how to play shogi! it’s not a card game but he’ll also ask you to teach him a game like president, LOL. you want to work out? work out in the gym IN HIS MANSION. cute because you guys become workout buddies. he also challenges you to basketball and will go easy on you— BUT YOU LOVE IT BECAUSE it’ll hurt if he broke your ankles. he likes to listen to music with you and will try to bake for you because you like it. akashi is far from closed minded— he is so intelligent and perceptive that there’s no room for judgement or stupid, aloof, discussions. hefty talks are common between you two as you both share your opinions and then find a common ground. it’s healthy! he loves the way you won’t take shit from others, and he’ll make sure that he won’t let others talk bad on you. akashi shows his loves through spoiling and lovely words :) he is also a man who can keep up with your ever changing life, but one thing that won’t change is his love for you.
