I been dying from stomach pain, and I couldn't sleep. I had to call out of work because of the nausea and dizziness from the pain. Makes me feel pathetic, and when i think of pathetic, I think of Shang Qinghua and if he would skip work or not.

My thoughts are that Shang Qinghua is not a person who skips work or pretends to be sick because he's going to get one free day, then more work to catch up on. Plus, in the early days, he was probably too scared to fail (and get killed my MBJ) that he never got a break.

ALSO I think disputing grades is really juvenile/unwarranted 99% of the time. It's one thing if there was a genuine error on the instructor's part that's plain to see ... but when people get passing grades but are salty bc it's not a high A or 100% it drives me nuts.

a lot of people in my current school's forum talk about going over their instructor's head to dispute grades. and i remember at my community college (before i transferred to uni), i was in a group communication project that truly was like pulling teeth bc, to be frank, my classmates weren't as articulate as me & weren't as comfortable speaking on camera (ok bc we all have our strengths ... i was shite at video editing and making pretty powerpoints and that assignment required us to make a professional looking presentation)

we ended up getting a B on the project which i thought was more than fair considering how shitty my groupmates were at synthesizing info/how much they kept overriding my suggestions on how to convey the info better + how the only person with enough confidence to present w/me on camera was not eloquent at all (big ups to her for trying when the others refused but she was just too anxious when speaking and it showed)

like that whole presentation was riding on my speech skills & another group member's powerpoint skills and the instructor told us as much in her feedback. so tell me why my group members -- who were all older than me at the time, mind you; i was mid 20s and they were late 20s/mid 30s -- all started devising a plan to get the instructor to change the grade bc 'they never got a B in college before' . i was so disgusted lmao. when i was 19 and got 95% on a music composition assignment i expected to fully ace (get 100% on) i didn't go crying to the teacher ... it's weird how some people think they deserve 100% just because they did the assignment. not everything is a participation grade!

I desperately need study tips to study during periods please! I'm always crying, my head hurts, my stomach hurts, my legs hurt, I can't concentrate, I feel sleepy(can't even drink coffee cause CRAMPS!!!!). How do you guys manage studying during periods? Especially if your exams are near?
