Spencer brushes his thumb against your bottom lip. Something in his eyes speaks even as he stays quiet, a light, an amusement, as if to say, I know exactly what you're doing, but it won't work. 

I'm not a saint, you say back with a sheepish smile. You close your eyes and let your head fall into his shoulder. He hugs you close despite the lack of room, his chin landing atop your head gently. "You'll have to try harder," he whispers. 

"Don't know what you mean." 

"Months of missing you and the first thing you do is try to torture me." 

"That's our thing." 

"No, our thing is me worshipping the ground you walk on," he says into your hair, hand squeezing as it roves up your arm, reassuring himself that you're there, that you're real. 

"Like I wouldn't do the same if you'd let me. I would've done anything." He probably can't hear you anymore, your voice a suggestion of sound. "I would've done anything if I thought it would…" get you back to me.

Spencer does you a favour of ignoring you. Later, you know he'll bring it up again. You'll have time, because he's going home. For now he does his best to hold you together in the company of others, always thinking about what you need. "You look so pretty today. Is that for me?" 

"I always look pretty." You haven't felt it lately.

"I know. Maybe it's because I didn't see you for so long… It's like seeing you again for the first time." 

Your chest aches in a strangely nice way. "And how are you coping, handsome?" 

He rests his cheek on your forehead. On paper, you're flirting. In actuality, you're being one hundred percent honest with each other. "I'm not. My blood pressure has gotta be 180 over 110 right now."

"I love it when you talk medical to me." 

"I love you." 

You nose at his suit sleeve ineffectually "I love you."

After your wild night, it was Oscar who came through first, groaning at the awkward position he was sleeping in, his neck sore with a horribly tough and warm pillow under it. He tried shoving it off but was only met with soft groans and a 'fucking stop', well that was enough to wake up the Aussie.

He turned around to be face-to-face with his childhood best friend, he let out a small yelp and pushed himself off the small sofa they were sharing, waking up the others.

"Oh my god, please shut up," came the hoarse voice of his friend Y/n, from the other side of the bed, on which Alex was the only one sleeping, his phone still on Facetime with his girlfriend, Lily.

As Y/n began pulling herself up, a deep Monganesque voice protested, "Y/n, stop moving," making the young woman's eyes widen as she pulled her hand away from the shirtless f2 driver's chest.

"Why aren't you wearing your shirt?" She asked looking at the boy still lying down on the floor, head clutched in his hands, "actually, Albon, why don't you have your shirt either?" she asked pulling herself up and lending her hand to the struggling boy next to her.

"I can answer that," came a woman's garbled voice through Alex's phone making him jump up to grab it, "Arthur fell off the bed onto you and when you pushed him off he used his shirt as a pillow," 'oh, that's why my ribs hurt' the younger woman thought, throwing a look at her friend, "and Alex was 'literally on fire and going to kill whoever messed with the AC'" she said with air quotes, making her boyfriend turn red.

"Thanks, Lily, I'll call you later, love you." he spoke and cut the call, "Remind me to never ever drink with the four of you again."

"Oscar, you kick in your sleep," Logan complained as he sat up, exploring all the black and blue bruises on his body, "why do we look like we were in a fight club?" he asked out loud making the others look at themselves.

Oscar had a few scratches on his knees and arms, Arthur had bruises and scratches littered all across his palms and hands and a nasty hand-sized bruise on his back, Y/n had a swollen nose, with a deep-ish cut along her eyebrow, the only unscathed on was Alex.

They all got dressed not bothering to change, knowing whose room they were in and walked to the private buffet that had been set up for the driver staying in the hotel, courtesy of Paris Hilton's soft spot for Lando.

As soon as they walked in, they were greeted by Lando, smiling and laughing as he recorded with his phone.

"Merde, I'm going to die, shut the lights," the youngest Leclerc said as he threw himself on the chair, closest to him, letting his head fall back. Y/n was next to accept the defeat of being conscious, sitting and immediately letting herself slump over her head smacking the wooden table with a loud thud, the woman would have been hurt if Logan hadn't moved his hand under her face, letting it bear the brunt of the impact. The blonde wasn't in any better shape, throwing one of the table napkins on his face to block out all light and noise. Oscar was the last to sit, simply clutching his head in his hands, almost pulling out his hair, at the massive headache he had.

Soon after, the unwilling babysitters followed, scowling at the sight of the supposed adults who were in no condition to be awake.

"All four of you, delete my number from your phone," the Dutchman spoke as he sat down next to his British friend, "eighty-two calls of all of you singing Barbie girl at 2 IN THE MORNING," he yelled slightly making the four whine.

"Please for the love of god shut up," the Aussie spoke up surprising the three sober men.

"Arthur mate, what did you all drink?" his brother asked laughing.

"Last I remember were the shots," he answered in broken French and English.

"So you don't remember when you all ran out of the club and went to Costco?" Lando spoke with a smirk, "And Y/n pushed Arthur around in the parking lot in the shopping carts,"

"What?" the pair asked, the girl sitting up, letting the blonde take back his hand.

"Oh, that is not even the worst part," Charles continued, "You and Oscar stole traffic cones, put them over your head and began tackling each other, and slept on the road," he chuckled making the duo look at each other with wide eyes.

"Oh and let's not forget when Logan and Arthur climbed up a building," he said knudging the brunette next to him. The two in question looked sheepishly at the older men and back onto the table.

"I am never going to drink, ever again," Y/n groaned as she tried to keep her eyes open.

"Yeah right, let's see you in Vegas," The youngest Leclerc sniped, making the girl throw the napkin of Logan's face on Arthur.

"Hey, guys," Lando called out bringing everyone's attention to him, the six waited as Lando's eyes widened and widened, "WHY IS THERE A TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLAR CHARGE ON OSCAR'S COMPANY CARD?!"

A/N: OKAY SO IM HELLA LATE TO THIS. And I made a few changes, but I hope you like it!

Peter couldn’t feel his legs.

He’d had the worst week of his life and right now he just needed you to hug him.

He ran past your neighbor’s house, racing up the stairs to yours, not noticing the look that she was giving him.

He rang the doorbell, waiting to see your smile, and feel your arms around him. To finally have someone by his side who knew everything.

But you didn’t open the door.

“Peter?” It was your brother. And unlike his usual grinning, goofy self, he was red eyed and seemingly angry. His girlfriend walked up behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder.

You’d hated almost everyone that James had dated, except Evie. But it’d been so long since he’d spoken to you, he wasn’t sure if that was still the case. “Where’s Y/N? I need to see her,” Peter huffed, peering inside the house over James’s shoulder.

“Oh,” James scoffed, “What? Your girl’s dead so now you worry about my baby sister?” 

“James,” Evie warned.

Peter felt his heart drop at the mention of Gwen, before it was replaced by rage. “How dare you!” he yelled, moving to step towards James, but was instead pushed back by the older boy.

“If you really wanna see her, go to the same place you see your girl nowadays,” and with that Peter was staring at the shut door.

To say Peter was confused was an understatement. Your brother had never been that rude to him. 

But what confused him more was that last sentence. He didn’t see Gwen anywhere nowadays. How could he? She was dead.

He turned around slowly, walking away as what James had just said swirled around his mind. It didn’t make sense. Were you at the graveyard to see Gwen too? But you weren’t that close to her. And anyways, the rest of what your brother had said didn’t add up.

Lost in his thoughts, he crossed the places that had defined both of your childhoods. The park where you’d met in 6th grade, Mrs. Parkinson’s house that you’d both toilet-papered in 8th grade, and last but not least, the local library.

You and Peter had spent so many days there after school puring over all sorts of books.

God, he missed those days.

He missed you.

He knew he hadn’t been the best, best friend lately but with everything going with Gwen, and the additional casualties of everything that was happening, he’d just been too busy.

It felt like you’d been absent from his life for ages. 

In fact it was almost like you were gone. Wiped off of the face of the earth.

And then it hit him.

And he ran.

It couldn’t be.

There multiple casualties after the whole thing with Electro, but not for a second had he thought-

He stood outside the graveyard, chest heaving, and anxiety building up inside of him.

He ran around, checking each and every gravestone in a frenzy, repeating the same word over and over again in a desperate attempt to pray for his intuition to be wrong.

Please.

And then he saw it.

In loving memory of Y/N Y/L/N.

Marked with the same day as Gwen’s stone.

“No no no no no, please.”

Peter’s legs gave out from beneath him and he crashed down, kneeling in front of your gravestone.

A sudden gust of wind made him aware of the cold tears on his face, streaming down faster than the pace at which he’d ran here.

He ran a shaky hand over your name engraved in stone, as if somehow that would make it easier to process.

It couldn’t be.

He’d seen you just before the fight. That was just a few days ago. You couldn’t have died. Not after he explicitly told you to go home. That couldn’t have been the last time he saw you for good.

He felt like his heart was actually breaking. He clutched your gravestone harder, tears soaking the rock. He prayed that this was a prank. That you would jump out from behind it. But the longer he stayed there, the more it sank. You were gone and you weren’t coming back.He’d lost you.

Among the chaos of everything around him Peter heard your voice from an alleyway, and immediately ran to you, worried that you were here. “Pete!” you yelled, flinging your hands around him. “Someone might hear you,” he yelled, wrapping his arms around you nonetheless. “I don’t think anyone is paying attention right now,” you laughed, pulling away. 

He could see the worry in your eyes, as usual, in spite of the smile on your face. 

“What are you doing here?” he asked, changing the topic to the most important one right then. “I wanted to tell you to be careful. Do you need help with something?” you asked. 

He admired your bravery, and how you always wanted to help, despite not having any powers. 

“I’m good. You need to get home,” he ushered, glancing behind him as we watched the chaos increase. 

“Okay.” You replied, nodding. You never put up a fight when Peter told you to go home though. You trusted that he knew these things better, and could tell if a situation was bad.

“Hey,” you whispered, pulling him down so your foreheads touched, “you still owe me a pizza, so get back to me okay?” Peter always felt safe when he was like this with you. No matter what happened, as long as he was with you, he would be okay.

He laughed softly, “ ‘Course I will. Don’t worry too much,” he replied. You nodded once more before pulling away.

“Now go save the day Spidey,” you grinned.

Misa Hey. Thank you for telling me all of this, and for trusting me to take care of her. I know how close you all are and I actually feel really terrible for plucking her away from you, from her familiarities and her routines and her people. I know it was her own decision and that she really wants this, despite feeling a little torn too. If I could, I would have us live closer to you all. I know how lucky I am with her loving me so much that she wants to make a lot of sacrifices for me, but I also can't help but feel really bad about it. She's starting all over again and that can be scary, but I'm going to make sure that she feels at home and safe and loved over here, I promise you. That she'll settle in quickly and that she will never forget she's my world. That she doesn't feel like she made all those sacrifices in vain. You can trust me that I'll keep to my promise, Alexia. She's my entire world, and I have loved her for longer than I even realised myself. I know it might be a little challenging at first, but after the obstacles we went through together, I know this will only be a small bump. I'll make sure to schedule regular visits to Barcelona, even if our schedules get a little busy. I don't want to come in between the bond she has with you and her friends. I would never want to take that away from her, which is why I feel so guilty that I'm indirectly kind of doing exactly that. I actually wanted to pass up on the place we found and wait with looking for anything until after the world cup, so that she wouldn't already be by herself right away. But she insisted and I have to agree, it's the perfect place for us. I think her friends are planning to stay some weekends with her while we're in Australia, so that does ease my mind. And you're also always welcome to stay and visit us, Alexia. Actually, I'd love if you could come over for a few days during our time off after the world cup. I think she'd really appreciate it. Just keep it a surprise, for now? Anyway, I have to go back to painting the next layer in the living room so all the painting is done when she arrives, jaja! She gave me clear instructions which colours to use and where. She got really serious about it and it made me love her even more. But thank you, Alexia. You mean a lot to me. I will forever cherish you and your sister. I promise you.

Misunderstanding 

Nikki sixx x reader 

Glancing at the clock on the wall for probably the 20th time since 11:30 pm, when Nixxi said he'd be home. It was no almost two in the morning. For the past few weeks nikki´s been getting home later and later from the times he says, he doesn't act like the guy y/n fell in love with. 

A thought crosses y/n´s mind as she sits on the couch waiting for Nikki to come home. What if he's out with another girl? What if hes fucking another girl right now? What-what if he doesn't love me anymore? y/n thought to herself. She's never let the thought of Nikki cheating cross her mind before but with how he's been acting she can't help it. 

She's so deep in her thought that she didn't hear the front door open and her boyfriend stumble in. Nikki stopped when she saw someone in the corner of his eye. Looking over at his girlfriend he walks over to her “hey babe why are you still up”  he says slurring some of his words. The sudden voice behind y/n made her jump and look up at the obviously drunk man. “I was waiting for my boyfriend who said he'd be home almost three and a half hours ago.” as the words leave her mouth nikki rolls his eyes. “I was out and lost track of time no big deal” he says throwing his arms up. 

“No big deal?!” y/n says rasing her voice “Nikki the past few weeks youve been acting diffrent, not coming home untill almost three in the fucking morning, probably out fucking some random bimbo, while im here waiting for you to come home so i know youre fucking safe!” she says standing  up, looking at her boyfriend who was making an extremely confused face. “Cheating? Are you serious y/n?!” he says glaring at her. “When have I ever made it so you wouldn't trust me? Huh?” nikki says getting in her face 

“Oh i don't know, not telling me where you've been, being distant, not having time for me anymore because if you're not doing drugs you're out doing god knows what!” y/n yells at nikki causing him to turn around, pick up a bottle of jack that he had left laying around one day and throw it across the room making it shatter. “y/n ive never even fucking thought about cheating on you, but you know what. Maybe I will if you already think I am” he says, looking her in the eyes. 

y/n´s eyes well up with tears but before she could say anything nikki starts “oh now you're crying. Typical” rolling his eyes he goes up stairs hearing her crying behind him. Once he's upstairs and in their room, he goes into his closet and shoots up. Reality of everything that happened tonight is sinking in. Nikki wasnt out with another girl, no other girl could even compare to his y/n, and to know that she thinks that low of him hurts a lot.

While nikki is upstairs, y/n is down stairs looking at the shattered glass with teary eyes. After almost ten minutes she decided to clean up the glass carefully. Once she's all done she slowly makes her way upstairs. When she entered the room she already knew nikkis in the closet, so she walked over, opened the door and saw Nikki lying on the ground, a needle laying next to him. Her eyes start tearing up again as she picks the needle up putting it into the trash before turning her attention to nikki 

“Nik? Wake up” she says rubbing his face a little until his eyes open looking at her in a daze, a big frown makes its way to his face when he remembers what happened “baby?” he asks sadly “come on nikki let's get you in bed” y/n says while trying to pull him up. “I'm so sorry y/n, i-i've never cheated on you i promise” nikki says turning to face her, putting his hands on her shoulders “please believe me sweetheart” he begs the woman in front of him. y/n smiles and leads him to the bed, and pushing him to lay down “well talk about this in the morning nikki, you need to sleep right now”  

As she gets into bed next to him he lays his head on her chest. “I love you y/n, more than anything in the world. When I'm out I'm just with Tommy and the guys drinking i promise” he slurs from both the drugs and tiredness. y/n kisses him forehead before whispering “i love you too nikki, now get some sleep” 

The last thing she heard before he passed out was a mumbled ‘im sorry’

you and trevor met at the beginning of freshman year of high school, and you’ve been best friends ever since. you’ve seen him grow not only as a hockey player, but also as a person. you and trevor ground each other immensely, he’s your rock, and you’re his. you never expected that you’d be best friends with a hockey player, especially looking at some of their personalities, but the stars aligned and trevor came into your life at the perfect time.

if you’re being honest, sometimes you feel these weird feelings towards trevor. they aren’t good or bad, they’re more of a ‘hes my best friend why does he look so hot?’ or a ‘why is he looking at her like that? and why do i feel jelaous?’ type of thing. all of your friends and families can see the way you guys look at each other, but it always gets shut down by the both of you immediately. another stars aligning moment was when you both ended up at boston university for college, and that’s where you are right now.

currently, trevor is hanging out in your dorm to ‘study’ but it’s more of you trying to get stuff done and him bothering you. he’s sat on the middle of your bed, with his back against the wall, and you’re against the headboard typing out a paper on your laptop. “come to the game tonight, both of you!” trevor says, as he points between you and your roomate. “i’m only going if y/n goes” anna says, not looking up from her phone. “i guess i’ll go. i have an econ test to study for, but yeah sure why not.” you shrug. “YES! you’re the best!” he says as he picks up his foot and starts wiggling it in front of your face. you quickly slap it away, “your feet stink! get them away from me!” you shriek. trevor laughs, almost rolling off of the bed. “okay that’s it, get out of my dorm! you have to leave for the game soon anyways” you say hopping off of the bed, dragging him with you. he stumbles over to the door and you push him out of the room playfully. “i better see you guys in the student section, or else i’m gonna come here and beat your ass” “yeah you wish, i don’t think julie would be very happy with you if you beat me up.” “don’t bring my mom into this!” you shrug, “whatever i’ll see you later. bye z” “you’re the best! bye short stack, love you!” he says, kissing the top of your head as he turns around cheerfully and walks away, leaving you with flushed cheeks.

“well that was new” anna says, peaking out at you from behind her phone. “i’m so screwed anna!” you cry out as you close the door and dramatically fall onto your bed. “and why is that?” she asks, putting her phone down and walking over to your bed. “because! look at me, im probably a tomato right now!” you say as you lift your head to show her your cheeks. she sits down next to you, and rubs your back. “oh you’ll be fine. i’m telling you-“ “that we’re gonna get married one day, yeah yeah yeah i’ve heard you the first million trillion times. god anna you sound like my mom!” you exclaim, causing anna to laugh. “whatever, i gotta get to class. you better be here when i get back, i’m not about to be late to this game cause you take twenty years to get ready” she chuckles. “oh whatever” you roll your eyes playfully, grabbing your laptop again.

as you guys arrive at the game you get strange looks from a girl who’s holding a ‘zegras i love you’ sign. you don’t understand why until you realize you’re wearing trevor’s hockey sweatshirt. you instantly begin to blush, since you just grabbed the first boston university hoodie you saw, not realizing it was one of trevor’s. you guys stand by the glass watching them warm up a bit, and trevor skates over and starts pointing at your hoodie. you can’t hear him through the glass, but you get the idea of what he’s saying, and it’s definitely something about how you’re wearing his hoodie. you laugh and flip him off, he laughs and skates away. afterwards, you and anna find a spot in student section, and the game begins not too long after.

as you’re watching the game, trevor suddenly gets into a heated fight with someone, and gloves are dropped. trevor’s throwing punches at him, and you audibly gasp. you mindlessly grab onto anna’s arm, causing her to smirk. “oh my god! what the fuck!” you yell out. you then hear anna snicker next to you. you turn your head, and realize you’re tightly gripping onto her forearm. you quickly let go, and your cheeks become red with embarrassment.

trevor is taken off of the ice, still yelling things at the other player. you sigh, unsure of his current state. the other guy definitely got some good punches in, but trevor did as well. suddenly two people wearing employees badges come out into the stands, and they appear to be looking for someone. you curiously watch them, until one of them asks you a question. “by any chance, do you happen to be y/f/n y/l/n?” you look at anna with a confused and concerned look, and then back to the employees. “yes, why?” “trevor won’t stop asking for you, he claims that ‘you’re the only one who can calm him down’ could you come with us?” your mouth falls slightly agape, and you look at anna. “yes go go go! i’ll be fine!” she says, causing you to nod and remove yourself from the student section.

you follow the employees into the locker room, and you’re met with a slightly bloodied up trevor. “what the fuck was that trevor!” you say sternly. “chill out dude! i called you back here to calm me down, not to fucking lecture me! jesus christ!” he rolls his eyes. you sigh, obviously he’s still upset. “you’re right sorry, can i sit?” you ask. he nods and pats the spot next to him. you sit down and rest your head on his shoulder, you guys stay like this for a few minutes without speaking. “are you ready to talk about what happened?” you say softly, breaking the ice. “he was talking shit” trevor sighs. “well yeah that’s what i expected, but what made you so angry that you punched him?” “he was talking about you.” that sentence causing you to lift your head from trevor’s shoulder. your turn your body slightly to face him, and your eyes widen. “he what?” “you heard me y/n. he saw us talking during warmups and he saw you in my hoodie, so he brought you up. he was like ‘your girlfriend is watching, how would she feel if she saw you lose to me? i mean she’s pretty cute, she any good in bed? it’d be a shame if she left you’ a-and at first i wasn’t bothered, b-but when he started asking about how you are in bed.. i just got really upset okay?! honestly i wanted to fucking kill him!” he exclaims, and you quickly hug him. “it’s just a chirp trevor, don’t worry. he’s a dick,” you sigh. “i’m sorry i let you down y/n, i know you hate when i get in fights.” “you didn’t let me down trev, i promise. honestly you could never let me down. and for the record, i’m not going anywhere. sorry but your stuck with me bud” you chuckle, pulling back from the hug. “really?” he says, his eyes soft. “really.”

you guys look at each other for a moment, before trevor starts to lean in. your heart skips a beat, and impulsively you connect your guys’ lips, even if his is a little bloody. he pulls back and wipes the blood from his lip with his thumb. “sorry, forgot there was blood on my lip.” “shut up and kiss me again” you say grabbing his jersey and pulling him back in, feeling him smirk into the kiss.

VHS Christmas Carols Spoilers

a bunch of my favourite parts and reactions in the VHS Christmas Carols bc i think it needs more love (its incredible btw and definitely worth the money)

i will never get over curts acting choices for this line, the little laugh before saying it and his FACE OH MY GOSH HIS ACTINGGGGGG
