So I’m a few episodes into El Hotel De Los Secretos
I’m so overjoyed to find that Andrés Salinas is not just played by 💕Carlos Rivera💕 but is second most important male lead AND my favorite character archetype/personality!
He’s the emotional heart/rock of the series!
He’s the counterbalance of caution, patience and kindness to Julio’s zero-impulse control and scrappy investigative zeal and I’m in love with that dynamic! (If I’m not careful I’m gonna ship it lmao, eh whatever! Whose gonna stop me if I do?! Lol)
In a way they remind me of the Triumvirate dynamic from Star Trek. Julio is Kirk and Andrés is a very charming combination of Spock & Bones. Andrés is like 85-90% of Julio’s impulse control
I smell the potential of him being the moral compass if things get darker than they are. Which, they probably will, it’s a telenovela/period DRAMA after all.
What really sold me on the show (and this character) was the third episode.
Waking up and comforting Julio when he breaks down in tears because it seems that his sister didn’t just disappear but was (probably) murdered thanks to some emotionally devastating evidence.
God just LOOK at them 🥲
Tumblr media Tumblr media
¡Voy a llorar! 😭😭😭
I don’t know man, Andrés really went “this man has body slammed me TWICE in less than 48 hours and I saw him cry once. You know what though? He’s earnest and funny and I feel bad for him. So! We Are Now Inseparable.”
Then what he does for BELÉN, pobresita 😭
Andrés comforts her (who he clearly already cared about before, can’t really tell if it’s a “he/they were already a little in love but we’re hiding it” situation or a “friends that become lovers(?) due to fanfic level circumstances” situation).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He doesn’t pressure her when she won’t say who the father is and doesn’t seem to think less of her for having a child out of wedlock. Which is like, a HUGE deal considering this takes place in the early 1900s.
Not only that! But what does he do in order to keep his mother (the chief of staff regarding the maid staff) to keep her from firing Belén?
HE LIES HIS MOM AND TELLS HER THE BABY IS HIS. He sacrifices his mother’s respect for him for Belén’s sake! Like, W H A T.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HELLO? H E L L O?!?!?!
Ahh! I love this series!
Oh man, I really hope he doesn’t become a target in whatever Diego’s shady ass plans are if he ever finds out Andrés is taking credit for the child/pregnant woman he discarded like trash to protect his engagement to Isabela 👀 (not that Andrés knows who the real father is) ¡NO MORTES POR FAVOR!
Does anybody else watch this show?! Send help! I’m chewing on the upholstery!!

5 Classics for girly girls 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Emily of New Moon
The bittersweet process of growing up and finding where you truly belong... The perfect read for the start of a new school year. After her father’s death, Emily Starr is sent to live with her snobbish relatives at New Moon farm. Thrust into an unfamiliar and often cold environment, Emily faces numerous challenges. However, as time passes, she begins to adapt and discovers the beauty in her surroundings. With the support of her new friends—Teddy, Perry, and Ilse—Emily not only finds solace but also discovers her own creative talents, helping her carve out a place for herself in this new chapter of her life.
“If it's IN you to climb you must -- there are those who MUST lift their eyes to the hills -- they can't breathe properly in the valleys.”
Jane Eyre
A true classic for all my fellow gothic-lit enthusiasts, Jane Eyre, reminds us that everyone deserves a love that consumes, challenges, and transforms the very core of your being, offering both profound joy and deep heartache (we love a good situationsship). Following Jane Eyre, an orphaned and mistreated girl who endures a harsh upbringing but grows into a strong, independent woman. As she takes a position as a governess at Thornfield Hall, she encounters the enigmatic Mr. Rochester, sparking a profound and tumultuous romance. Their intense connection is marred by secrets and personal demons, revealing the complexities of their relationship.
“Jane, be still; don't struggle so like a wild, frantic bird, that is rending its own plumage in its desperation." "I am no bird, and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being, with an independent will; which I now exert to leave you.”
The Secret Garden
Mary Lennox, a spoiled and neglected girl, is sent to live with her uncle after the death of her parents. Initially ill-tempered and withdrawn, Mary’s curiosity is sparked by rumours of a hidden, abandoned garden on the estate. As she explores and begins to restore this secret garden, she experiences a beautiful shift (glow-up era). The once gloomy and sickly Mary starts to bloom alongside the garden, rediscovering happiness, vibrancy, and a sense of belonging, making the story a heartwarming tale of growth and recovery.
“At first, people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can be done, then they see it can be done--then it is done, and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago.”
Pride and Prejudice
Truly a classic that has shaped my romantic expectations hahah... Elizabeth Bennet battles societal expectations and her own misjudgments in 19th-century England. When the aloof Mr Darcy (he'd totally be a ghoster in the 21st century just saying...) first crosses her path, their initial encounters are fraught with tension and misunderstanding. However, as Elizabeth delves deeper, she uncovers the complexities of Darcy’s character and her own heart.
“I could no longer help saying that I loved him. I loved him not only for his sake but for his own sake. I loved him because he was the only person who had ever really loved me for myself. I loved him because he had made me feel that I was worthy of being loved.”
The Little Prince
A young, otherworldly prince from a tiny planet travels across the universe, meeting various inhabitants and learning profound life lessons. His journey brings him to Earth, where he encounters a stranded pilot and shares his reflections on love, loss, and the essence of human connections. Through whimsical adventures and encounters, The Little Prince explores the importance of seeing with the heart rather than the eyes and reminds us of the value of friendship and innocence.
“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched; they are felt with the heart.”
you guys asked for more academia/book stuff so I thought this might be a nice start, especially since I know that many of you are just getting into classics; these are all very much suitable for beginners!! <3
love ya ・:*₊‧✩

Their dating venue:- The forest
Caution: Levihan lens is on!
1) Junior High

2) Ilse's notebook (Manga)
Tumblr media
3) Ilse's notebook (Anime)
Think about it, Hange had a headstart from their camp to look for the talking titan. Then she found it in the forest and was on her way to lead the titan to somewhere.
Levi's squad not only managed to find her and also caught up to intercept her. Very likely, Levi has been scouting the forest with Hange and therefore know the direction to look for her.
Remember how Hange pointed out the Titan forest for Erwin to chase Reiner and Bertholt in season 2? Without prior knowledge of which direction to chase, Levi could be wasting time to look for her.
Tumblr media
4) Meetup with Levi squad (Season 3)
Whether it is a secret code or the usual spot, Levi knows where to bring their captive to, and Hange knows where to look for him. In the anime, Hitch and Marlowe did not bring Hange and Moblit to the forest, which is why the secret code scene is cut off. But what if they already have a usual spot between themselves?

5) Being caught by Moblit and Gunther - scene from PS4 game.
This is...? 🤔

What do you think Gunther?

I meant to come home and wash the red off before Aunt Elizabeth saw me. But she took a notion to call for me on her way home from the store. She did not say anything there but when we got home she said, “What have you been doing to your face, Emily?” I told her and I expected an awful scolding, but all she said was, “Don’t you know that you have made yourself cheap?” I did know it, too. I had felt that all along although I couldn’t think of the right word for it before. “I will never do such a thing again, Aunt Elizabeth,” I said. “You’d better not,” she said. “Go and wash your face this instant.” I did and I was not half so pretty but I felt ever so much better. Strange to relate, dear Father, I heard Aunt Elizabeth laughing about it in the pantry to Aunt Laura afterwards. You never can tell what will make Aunt Elizabeth laugh.
I love the hints that Aunt Elizabeth is softening. This one in particular makes me think of Marilla (and Anne, when dealing with Davy).
After we got into bed I told [Ilse] a lot of things I wished afterwards I hadn’t. Secrets.
So, what do we think Emily's secrets are? Things the reader knows about, like the letters to her father? Or are we being left out?
And then a most surprising thing happened. Relations are always surprising you. Aunt Elizabeth spoke up and said, “I do wish, Ruth, that you and Wallace would leave that child alone.” I could hardly believe my ears.
Heck yeah, Aunt Elizabeth!
And I thought of you, darling Father, and Mother and poor little Mike and Great-great-Grandmother Murray, and of my old account book that Aunt Elizabeth burned, because it seemed just like a person to me.
Emphasis mine. A deliberate instance of memories getting blurred, or did LMM forget what happened to the account book?

18 Times Lestappen Tried To Hide Their Relationship (And One Time They Failed) - Lestappen collab fic
Once again @lestappenforever and I have combined forces to write yet another silly Lestappen + The grid fic in celebration of the first race week of the season, and as Ilse promised yesterday, the result of that has now been posted!
This is the silly prequel to the silly 19 Times The Grid Saved Lestappen (And One Time They Didn't Need To), and takes place during the 2021 season.
So without further ado, and to quote Fabrizio Romano: Here we go!
You can read the full fic on AO3 here!
Happy race week, everyone!
---
Summary:
A secret relationship is fun. It's exciting, arousing even, to know something that no one else knows except you and your significant other. The sneaking around, trying not to get caught, is exhilarating. The hiding in storage rooms, bathroom stalls, closets, and even under a pile of clothes, trying your best not to get caught, and the giggling afterward, the shared pride of having managed to stay hidden, is romantic.
Or at least it's supposed to be.
Because Charles thinks that being in a secret relationship with Max Verstappen and having eighteen nosy friends and colleagues invade your personal space almost twenty-four hours a day for several weeks a year does not help. In fact, Charles is sure it's doing something to his heart, and not in a good I'm-in-love-and-my-heart-skips-a-beat kind of way.
No. Charles is pretty sure he is going to die of a heart attack at the age of only twenty-six because of all the sneaking around and almost getting caught every time.
The only positive thing they have going for them is that they haven't been caught yet. How that's possible, Charles isn't sure, but he thinks it might have something to do with the fact that their friends either aren't paying much attention or are just plain stupid.
Charles secretly hopes it's the last one.
But of course, luck is not on Charles’ side, as one Mr Lando Norris, tucked away in the safety of his driver's room on the other side of the paddock, is typing away on his phone.

Until The End (Levi x Reader)- Chapter 15
[Ymir]
Tumblr media
_____ A/N: Posted on Wattpad (@CLARE_875) but also decided to post here :)
Summary:
"You can push me away, but I will still fight by you, and I will still follow you… until the end."
The ever-so-stoic Levi Ackerman has only ever known the terrors that living in a cruel world could bring. This all changed one fateful day when he encountered [y/n]; a girl renowned for her looks and abnormal speed. As they escape the confines of the Underground together, they soon discover that freedom doesn't come easy in a world full of Titans. As they rise through the ranks, [y/n] becomes known as "Humanity's Angel", a beacon of hope to humanity as she melts the walls Levi had built around his heart. However, she has her secrets too, and a dark past that might just threaten to pull them apart.
The storyline and characters of Attack on Titan do NOT belong to me, but all to Hajime Isayama; however, I do own this story, and all that occurs disparate to that storyline.
[Series Masterlist] [Chapter Fourteen] <--> [Chapter Sixteen]
_____
Warnings: Canonical Violence, Mention of Death, Blood A/N: Spoilers for OVA Ilse's Notebook
"Oi, don't stop," Levi kicks the back of Pastor Nick as he looks in despair at the thousands of people that swarmed the streets of Ehmich in front of us. "You'll end up like a little lost kid." The man doesn't turn, though, "Th-This is..." Levi glares as he follows Nick's gaze into the crowd. "What did you expect to see?" You ask lowly as you look at the miserable faces that pass. Children cried out for parents who were nowhere in sight, mothers clutched sleeping babies, faces full of misery, people sobbed and clung to each other, everyone utterly defeated. "This is what happens when the walls fall." Nick gasps as he moves to go forward before he is held back by Levi's strong grip.
"Oi, where do you think you're going?" His stare darkens more as he looks at the man he holds in his reach. "Take a good look at the faces of people who've lost everything. The faces of everyone you and your people abandoned." Levi doesn't falter as he continues stating our wretched reality to the pastor, who looks forward in disbelief. "If your Church's wish comes true, and Titans come flooding through the walls, we'll all be gobbled up in their stinking mouths and die in the most miserable way possible. All of humanity digested as one."
.....
You walk by Levi as we follow Nick back to Hange, who looks at us as we approach. They quickly rush to our side as you stay with Levi's pace, slow as he moves with his injured leg. "Have you had a change of heart yet?" Hange asks, looking to the pastor, but he remains silent, adding to the bubbling irritation you feel in your stomach. "We don't have time for this! You know, don't you?!" Hange yells out as they lean into his face. "Will you talk, or won't you?! Make up your mind already!" Nick doesn't look at their face as he replies, "I cannot say anything... The other believers are the same as I, and that will never change." Hange sighs exasperated, "Well, thanks for nothing! We're so grateful for all the help you've been!" However, as they turn away, Nick speaks out once again.
"It's too great of a decision for a single person to make. The Order of the Walls must always adhere to the sacred will we're bound to obey." Hange turns slightly at his words, "Whose will? God or something?" Nick closes his eyes, "I cannot say anything. However, I can inform you of a name, who under their sacred will, we were instructed to monitor." We all turn to Nick now, "Monitor?" Hange asks as Eren, Mikasa, and Armin also look on in interest. "That person joined the Scout Regiment as of this year... Their name is... Krista Lenz." The three Scouts look together in shock, whilst you and Levi share a questioning glance. "You must find her at once," Nick says, eyes now sharp, "Only she... she may know the truths which even we cannot perceive. That is all the information I can share. The rest I leave in your hands."
Hange looks up, eyes flashing with realisation. "If she's in the 104th, then she's deep in the front lines right now." Eren looks up to Hange, eyes shining, "Let's go! We need to hurry!" He shouts before crashing into a girl with auburn hair pulled into a ponytail. The girl after realising she was on the floor, quickly jumped to her feet, grabbing a document and ignoring the questioning glance from her peers. "Upon my arrival, I gave your report to the Commander! Afterwards, I was entrusted to deliver this message to the Section Commander!" She says, eyes determined, as she bows forward and hands the document she held over to Hange. "Message? Thank you. Good work." You see Hange replace the document with a steaming potato in the girl's hands, whose face immediately lights up as she bites into it.
You shake your head at the sight before you and Levi follow Hange, who speeds ahead as they make their way down the hall. When we walk in, Eren, Mikasa and Armin are already getting ready, pulling on their ODM gear. "So, who is this girl in the 104th," you ask when you walk in, looking at the three, who pause, looking up. "She's the smallest one of us," Eren replies as Mikasa helps him with his gear. "She's got long golden hair. Um, and... she's cute." Armin continues as he thinks of how to describe the girl known as Krista. "She's always hanging around Ymir." Mikasa adds on as Hange perks up at that, "Ymir?" You and Levi share a widened glance. Ymir. Where had I heard that name before?
[Flashback]
It was the year 850, you sat atop [h/n] as you gently raked through her white mane, waiting for the gates of Wall Rose to rise. You look to your left and see Levi, Hange and Miche, who also await patiently; you turn and see your squad behind you. We were in the Trost district and again about to set foot into Titan territory. The bells started to ring as you heard Erwin call out from in front, "Thirty seconds to the gate opening! All hands prepare for departure!" You heard a whining voice to your left, "Oh, I can't stand the waiting." Hange calls out before turning to the man next to you, "Hey Levi-" but said man cuts them off instantly, knowing what's coming next. "The answer's no." Hange pouted, looking at him, "I haven't said anything yet."
"You want me to help you capture a Titan, right? I don't care to go to that kind of trouble." Hange sighed at Levi's words, turning to Miche, who stood to their left. "What about you, Miche? You want in?" Hange asks, to which the man merely looks away. Hange frowned at the sight before smiling irritably. "As always, boring men with their boring excuses, right [y/n]?" They turn to you as you laugh slightly at their words, observing Levi's darkening aura. "You might be right about that, Hange," you tease, glancing at Levi, who gives you a sharp glare before you smile sheepishly and continue, "but you know the rules; we can't do anything unless Erwin gives us the okay." Hange pouts at that, looking your way, "Not you too [y/n]~" But before you can say anything else, Erwin shouts out to us as the gates of Wall Rose rise. "The 49th expedition beyond the walls now begins! Advance!" You clutch onto the reigns of [h/n] as we move forward, past the walls. You see Hange already racing ahead, past Erwin and his calls for them to return.
"Yahoo! All you Titans, here I come to see you!"
...
You stand atop the rooftop of a house in an abandoned village, on the watchout for Titans with Miche, who stands next to you. This village had also probably become the victim of the fall of Wall Maria five years ago, you think, looking at the remnants of the damage left behind. Your eyes then drifted down from the rooftops to see that Hange was now clutching Oluo. Petra and Mobilt looked wide-eyed in horror as they observed the scene in front of them. You sigh, deciding you should see what it's all about. Miche looks at you with a knowing nod, to which you smile, grateful for his understanding. You use your speed to quickly dash down to where Hange stood, ignoring the pink hue on Miche's usually composed face.
You land, looking up, and you see a brief flicker of relief flash through Petra's eyes as she looks at you while you look at Oluo's gasping face in Hange's grip. "Hey, Hange, what's-" But they interrupt you, focused completely on Oluo. "Picture this, Oluo. Let's say Levi is trying to kill you. For real! What do you do? Can you fight him and win?" Oluo looks to Hange, desperation in his face, "I'd stand no chance! And... yer chokin' me!" You look to Hange, who has a crazed look on their face. "Want me to tell you how you can win? Through thorough investigation. Based on his behaviour, you find out what food he dislikes, his taste in women, how often he goes to the bathroom, that sort of thing! That way, you'll find a weak spot you can exploit." You sweatdrop, not sure if you should be scared or not, before noticing Oluo is now basically dying.
"Unless you fight him on those terms... you're sure to be killed!" You quickly karate chop Hange on the head, to which they suddenly look up, eyes clear of the crazed look in their eyes. "Ah, [y/n], when did you get here? We were just talking about you," they say, eyes glinting as you rolled your eyes. "Hange, you almost killed Oluo," you say, gesturing behind them to where he now sat, grasping at his neck. Hange then followed your line of sight, realising you were right, "Sorry, sorry. But hey, that's the way it is." They say, looking to Oluo before wandering off with a dark look on their face, Mobilt chasing after them. "Thank you, Captain," Oluo muttered as you nodded. Petra looked to you thankfully, before telling her you had to go back to Miche, as you rejoined him on your patrol.
Miche looked up, acknowledging you with a slight nod, as he snacked on something, whilst we continued observing our surroundings. Only a few moments passed before you heard him start to sniff the wind; you turned quickly to him, knowing it was never good when he picked up on something. "Where is it, Miche?" You ask as he glances at the terrain. "[y/n] ready the red smoke signal," he replies, which you do, as he runs across the rooftop, observing the treeline. You see a tree suddenly drop to the floor as you let off the red smoke, "There's one in the forest!" Miche yells out as you see Erwin swiftly turn in our direction. "Everyone on alert!" his voice boomed across the houses before you heard Mobilt's call. "Section Commander! Going alone is dangerous!" You turn in time to see that Hange has taken off on their own to pursue the Titan, if not to capture it.
"Levi!" You hear Erwin call when he fails to get Hange's attention. Levi approaches Erwin on his horse, "That fool... [y/n], we're going!" You meet his eyes and nod from the rooftop, "I'll catch up!" You yell out as you see him and your squad set off. You quickly use your speed to make your way to the horses and find [h/n] as she licks your hand in acknowledgment. You jump atop your horse as you gallop outside the village and into the forest, trying to catch a glimpse of where Levi and the squad went. You see them re-enter the forest after failing to get the Titan's attention. That's strange, it must be an Abnormal. You quickly force [h/n] forward as you make yourself by Levi's side as he turns briefly in acknowledgement.
"What's that big dumbass doin', runnin' on home!" You hear Oluo yell as we follow the Titan. "Even if it's Abnormal, there's something strange about it!" Petra adds in, to which you silently agree. "Yeah, it doesn't match any pattern that's been reported thus far!" Eld says from Petras right as Gunther replies. "Well, doesn't the fact that it diverges from every pattern make it an Abnormal?" You sigh at the jumble of thoughts shouted out as Levi calls out from beside you, "It doesn't matter." He unsheathes a blade, "We'll kill it here."
.....
We finally made it to an opening where Hange stood in front of the Titan, who was yelling out strangely. You see Oluo take off on his ODM gear ahead of us, attaching it to the Titan's nape; however, just as he's about to slice through, Hange yells out. "Oluo, wait!" You see the brief hesitation this causes whilst Oluo listens to his section Commander before he is then captured in the Titan's grasp. You hear his scream and react, standing on [h/n] before you speed across the air and slice across the Titan's arm, causing it to fall to the floor along with Oluo. Levi follows quickly after, going for the kill as he slices the Titan's nape, causing it to slump against the grass. We both land on either side of Oluo as Levi wipes the blood off his blade with a handkerchief. "Hey, you okay?" You ask Oluo, who now looks up to us, tears sprouting from his eyes. "Captains... I'll follow ya fer life!" You sighed slightly, glad he was okay.
"But this little one was my precious test subject..." you look up to see Hange fall to their knees in front of the now steaming Titan. You frown at their words; despite supporting their wants to research for the sake of humanity, they had almost let one of your squad members die. Levi seemed to be having the same thoughts as he approached Hange. "If we had just captured it, humanity might have taken a step forward!" Levi reaches down and brings Hange up to his eyeline by their collar, face dark, and grey eyes sharp as ever. "Quiet, you damn four-eyes! If you want to become Titan shit, I won't stop you." You see his eyes flicker with anger, "But don't expose subordinates to danger!" Hange paused as they looked at Levi in front of them.
"Titans don't defecate. Because they don't have digestive organs." Levi's eyes anger further at Hange's nonchalant attitude toward his words before he throws them to the ground in disgust. You are slightly grateful as you felt irritation bubbling within you, for their lack of seeing the life they had just risked. Suddenly, Petra spoke up as you walked to Levi's side, "Um... Captains?" you look up, "What is it, Petra?" You follow her line of sight and freeze. "Do you... S-suppose the Titan did that? No, I mean, how could it?" Within the tree the Titan had returned to, sat a headless corpse.
Hange walked towards it, looking inside the tree. "A 34th expedition armband... This soldier died a year ago. Name of... Ilse... Langnar...." You then looked at the roots of the tree in front of you, noticing a strange object lying in the grass. You walk forward and lean down to pick it up, realising it's a book. Levi approaches you as you stand back up before flicking through the pages, your eyes widening in realisation. Hange turns to us abruptly, "[y/n], what is that," they ask, staring at the object in your hands. Levi answers for you, and you see a grim look on his face as he looks at the book in your hands, "This is... Ilse Langnar's military achievements." The others approach as you look through the pages.
The girl Ilse had written of how her squad had been attacked by Titans on the way back from the 34th expedition. She lost her squadmates and horse and abandoned her broken ODM gear. She had run for the north in Titan-infested lands, alone. But, she wrote of the hopes of using her skills to get home without an encounter with a Titan. She claimed to want to fight even if she were to lose her life with the words she had written in her book. But then, as you turned the page, you saw that she had run into an Abnormal Titan, a six-meter class. Likely the one we had just slain, you think to yourself. But what she wrote next is what shocked you, as you looked to Levi with wide eyes. When Ilse thought she had met her end, the Titan had spoken. "Subjects... of... Ymir. Lady Ymir... welcome." Its face had changed, and it adopted a pose that had indicated respect for her.
Ilse had asked of its existence, its origin, its purpose, but the Titan had groaned aloud in despair. You followed the final pages of the book. The writing had turned wild, with slight stains of blood on the pages, amongst the barely intelligible words. You realised she had been killed by the very Titan we had just slain. Killed but then not eaten and deposited in a tree hollow.
.....
It was getting late as the sun started to set, and you stood by Levi as Petra stood a little bit away, and Oluo stood in front of us. Hange looked up to see us waiting for them on the street; you knew that they had just gone to give what remained of Ilse, including her notebook, to her parents. "Um, Hange..." Oluo spoke out uncertainly. Hange approached us before putting a hand on their hips, eyes shining under the dimming lights. "So, you guys are into following people around?" There was a slight pause before Oluo decided to continue anyway. "About what happened... I'm sorry! We could've caught that Titan if I hadn't screwed up. Guess that would've been useful for humanity. My life'd be a cheap thing to lose, for that-" You frowned at his words, but Hange beat you to it as they held him up by the collar once more.
You see their eyes go soft as they look to the floor. "No, I'm the one who should apologise. You nearly got you killed. I'm sorry. But never say your life is cheap again." You smile at Hange's words, glad to see that they had it in them to apologise despite their raging passion for the Titans. "Got it?" Hange looks up to Oluo, before freezing and letting him go. He falls to the ground abruptly as you realise, he has lost consciousness from the grip Hange had on him.
.....
Oluo, Petra, Levi, Hange, and you walked down the streets that had now turned dark in the night. You bound over to Hange as you grin up at them. "Hey Hange, guess what?" Hange looks at you, curiosity bursting through their glasses. "Erwin gave us the go-ahead," you say, smiling next to Levi, who has a bored expression on his face. "Oh," you see Hange smile before their cheeks flush, and they jump high into the air at the news, "Yahoo!"
Twenty days later, Hange, with the help of our squad, would succeed in capturing the first Titans since the fall of Wall Maria. At that time, a new capture process devised by Hange was used, and not a single life was lost. Hange had finally convinced Erwin to let them capture Titans, all thanks to the discovery of the Titan by Ilse, who had spoken of Ymir.
[Back to Storyline]
Some time passed as Eren, Mikasa, and Armin finished putting on their gear, and we now stood in a room with Scouts gathered in a meeting before their departure. Hange starts with the debrief. First, they would ride to a tower nearby where they could assess the wall. It was an abandoned castle southwest; Utgard castle. Then, hopefully, they would meet with those of the Garrison, Veteran Scouts, and Rookies from the 104th Training Corps who were already on the frontlines to find where the hole in the walls lay. Then, using Eren's powers, try to seal the wall with the hardened skin of his Titan. A slight silence entered the room before Hange yelled out Eren's name, who looked up at them questioningly.
Hange stood, holding the documents you had seen the girl, known as Sasha, provide her. "What is it, section Commander?" The emerald-eyed boy asks as you turn to look at Hange's grim face. "Oh well... I was finally able to get my hands on the background report for Annie Leonhart." Eren looked from where he sat, "Annie?" he asked, eyes shining with intrigue. "Yeah. It's taken so long to get it because managing these reports is such a mess right now. According to this, there were two others belonging to the 104th Training Corps who came from the same area as her." You turn, eyes sharp at Hange's proclamation.
"And those two are... Reiner Braun... and Bertholdt Hoover." Silence descends upon us as Sasha, Mikasa, Eren, and Armin look to Hange in complete disbelief. "Thanks to the chaos five years ago, pretty much all of their family records are spotty or missing. However..." Hange pushes the documents forward as you see a familiar drawing. "During the long-range Scouting formation, their unit was given false information. They were among those purposely told that Eren was in the right wing." Armin looks to Hange, eyes wide, "The Female Titan attacked from the right wing!" Sasha turned to the blond, "Huh? What does that mean?" Armin paused before continuing, "That it's possible they passed on that information to Annie..."
"Hey, hold on a minute, Armin," Eren looks at him, conflicted eyes shining. "You can't just-" Hange interrupts him abruptly, "I know that, Eren. By itself, that's not enough to prove anything. So, just in case, I'd like to hear from you how these three interacted during training." The four Scouts of the 104th Training Corps turn to us, proclaiming that though Reiner and Bertholdt were close, often saying they came from the same place, Annie had barely interacted with them, or anyone for that matter. "But..." Eren looks to us, "As their comrade, I'd find it hard to believe. Set aside Bertholdt, who doesn't say much. Reiner is like everyone's big brother, and he's not devious enough to deceive all of us."
"I agree," Armin spoke up from the side, "Reiner gave everything he had fighting the Female Titan with me. He would've gotten crushed in her hand if he hadn't-" but then Armin paused, seeming to remember something. Eren turned to him in question as Armin continued, "Reiner managed to escape, but... Annie suddenly changed her course and ran in Eren's direction. I- I did mention that Eren might be at the rear of the centre rank. But Annie was too far to hear..." Tense silence takes over us as we contemplate Armin's words. "Did Reiner seem overly interested in Eren's location?" Hange asked as she looked up to Armin, whose face turned rigid as you saw thoughts playing over his mind.
"I only started talking about Eren's position... because Reiner was the one who asked about it first... Furthermore... when that happened, the Female Titan was staring at her palm. He might've written a message with his blades in her hand. Reiner could've..." Armin's eyes look up, ablaze with terror, as you feel your heart rate spike in the silence of the room. "What the hell?" Eren's face, still firm with disbelief, looks to Armin angrily, "Why are you saying things like this? You should..." But Hange quickly intervenes, "Eren!" their eyes look to the boy, a firm expression on their face. "No... Everyone, listen up! Supposing that we find Reiner or Betholdt, act in a way that does not reveal any suspicions. Of course, do not make any mention of Annie Leonhart either. Regardless of whether they're Annie's accomplices or not, we need to lead them deep Underground and confine them."
"Everyone understands?" Hange asks, finished with their rundown. Everyone in the room replies affirmatively before Eren speaks up, "We've got to go!" He exclaims, ready to leave out the door. "Calm down, Eren," you call out, as his green eyes meet yours, turning at your words. Levi speaks up from next to you, "You all listen too," he adds, looking to Mikasa and Armin. "We're going our own ways now. The rest is up to you." His gaze is sharp as he looks at the three young Scouts in front of him. "Erwin may have thrown together your squad, but everything's riding on you." The three look to the both of us with the visible shine of determination in their eyes.
You move forward off the wall as your eyes turn to the blond boy in front of you. "Armin, you work with Hange and combine your knowledge," you say, which causes him to perk up, "Y-Yes, Captain!" You nod, "Mikasa, I don't hesitate to say you already will, but... use the utmost of your ability to protect Eren at all costs." You look at the raven-haired girl in front of you, eyes widening slightly at your words. "Yes, Captain! Of course!" Levi then steps up, looking at the brunette who was left looking between the both of us. "And finally... Eren," Levi's eyes are sharp as they look at him, "Learn how to restrain yourself. Don't succumb to rage and lose sight of the goal." His stare intensifies as he looks to the boy, "We can't afford another mistake." Eren looks at us, sheer determination clear on his face. "Yes, sir!"

Twenty two Teddy Kent's headcanons and semi-headcanons (created in a great hope that they will make him a little less of a stale piece of toast):
When he was a little boy, he used to have imaginary friends to play with; he believed that they were living in a garden near his house and were able to shrink in size to fit into the flower buds.
He used to draw pictures for every book he had read, because he thought the books were much better that way.
He made up stories, but instead of using words, he used illustrations.
He loved the myth of Vega of the Lyre and imagined the star as a land with two shining suns (one red and one blue). He imagined that he lived there before he was born (it's canon - quotes below). That was the reason Vega of the Lyre became Emily's favourite star.
He saved his allowance money to buy paints and pastels.
He made many pictures of Emily, but was too shy to show them to anyone.
He had no idea why most of Blair Water girls wanted to shake his hand, but he was too nice to refuse. In fact, they followed Rhoda Stuart's idea to count nine stars for nine nights, so that the first boy they shook hands with was going to become their husband. Emily was the one who told him about that custom. He laughed it off as silly, but secretely counted the stars and proceeded to shake Emily's hand. He told himself it was unrelated.
He sometimes wondered what his father looked like. His mother never showed him any photographs until she came to live with him. He was twenty five when he saw his father's picture for first time and he had to fight the tears down.
He really loved ice-skating and was pretty good at it. The first winter he and Emily were married, he insisted they go ice-skating at least once a week.
He painted old Mr. Morrison, standing on the church steps, with longing in his eyes. He felt very sorry for the man, after he stopped being angry at him for scaring Emily.
He learnt how to cook when he moved to Montreal. During his scholarship in Paris, he invented countless ways to cook beans (because they were cheap and filling - couldn't resist The Blue Castle reference).
He felt really ashamed during nude-painting classes. He couldn't talk to the models afterwards. His classmates laughed at him for being such a prude.
When he was studying in Paris, he used to sneak behind the guards into the Louvre, to stare in awe at the paintings of great artists (that is not my headcanon - it was in a fanfic entitled "Pine Trees and Pigsties" by Dhobi ki Kutti (dhobikikutti).
During his separation from Emily, he wrote her many letters, but never send them. He gave her these letters after they were married.
He took Emily to Paris for their honeymoon. They visited every single art gallery. It was Emily's idea, because she loved listening to him talk about art.
He never made any comments about Emily's dresses, because he thought she had looked beautiful all the time. He told her that after she got angry at him for not helping her choose an outfit to wear at one of the parties.
On the first day The Smiling Girl was being exhibited, he gave a speach about "the first girl who had believed in me". He never mentioned Emily's name. It hurt too much.
After he and Emily got married, he made illustrations for her books (again, the idea is from an amazing fanfic by hardlygolden - no pictures of him squarely).
He often thought that if he had ever had a daughter, he'd call her after his favourite constellation (I am obsessed with the name Lyra, so...).
He was good with the kids and really enjoyed playing with them. They usually created a huge mess that took ages to clean afterwards.
He liked painting pictures on the walls. He painted a Blair Water landscape on the walls of Emily's writing room in Montreal, so that she felt more at home.
He always bought chocolate bars for Ilse's and Perry's kids and told them in secret "not to tell mommy". Ilse pretended not to have noticed.
I borrowed @daydreamingandprocrastination tags, because they are just so amazing! I hope you don't mind, but if you do, please let me know and I'll be sure to change them!
"Teddy says that before he was born into this world he lived in another one where there were two suns, one red and one blue. The days were red and the nights blue. I don’t know where he got the idea but it sounds atractive to me. And he says the brooks run honey instead of water. But what did you do when you were thirsty, I said. Oh, we were never thirsty there. But I think I would like to be thirsty because then cold water tastes so good. I would like to live in the moon. It must be such a nice silvery place." (Emily of New Moon).
"Look at that star, Teddy—the one just over the youngest Princess. It's Vega of the Lyre. I've always loved it. It's my dearest among the stars. Do you remember how, years ago when you and Ilse and I sat out in the orchard on the evenings when Cousin Jimmy was boiling pigs' potatoes, you used to spin us wonderful tales about that star—and of a life you had lived in it before you came to this world." (Emily's Quest).

Final Fantasy 16 Daemon AU
Clive and Zara
She settled as a Gray Wolf a few days before they were made First Shield. which was good timing because only those that are settled are allowed to become First Shield
Tumblr media
She had a habit of picking Torgal up by the scruff to carry him. and would do the same with Autumn (Joshua's dae) and Leif (Jill's dae) when they would take the forms of something that could be picked up like that.
Joshua and Autumn
She settled as a Carrion Crow when they were around 19, a little bit after they started traveling Valisthea.
Tumblr media
She was semi-conscious for a year before Joshua woke up from his coma, this has led to an unfortunate habit of her speaking for Joshua at times, even after he woke up.
Jill and Leif
He settled as a Eurasian Eagle-Owl when Jill was about 15.
Tumblr media
It takes quite a while after they are saved for him to be comfortable around anyone that wasn't Clive and Zara. he was warming up to Cid and Emmerich before their death, but was still only mildly warmer to them than to most people.
Dion and Adrian
He settled as a Golden Eagle when they were named crown prince at 16.
Tumblr media
Adrian had always been louder with his and Dion's opinions, though they shared them, and had never been afraid to speak out when they thought something wrong. this is partly how Anabella and Estienne were able to manipulate the Sanbreque court so easily.
Cid and Emmerich
He settled as a Cheetah when they awakened as a Dominant at 16.
Tumblr media
He will groom anything within his reach when relaxing. he has the habit of leaning on, and rubbing against, any Daemon that he likes. He never liked Barnabas and made no secret of that fact. Sleipnir would sooner get his throat ripped out then be allowed to pet him.
Mid and Echo
He settled as a Red Fox at 15. and then they proceeded to have a minor breakdown because Cid and Em never got to see what they settled as.
Tumblr media
Echo was named Echo by Emmerich, because he would toddle around behind other daemons and take/Echo their forms. Other than Emmerich, he also loved to follow around Ilse (Otto's dae) and Embla (Gav's dae).
Gav and Embla
She settled as an Akita at 14, a few weeks after their family was killed.
Tumblr media
When they got to the Hideaway at 16, and decided to become a scout. Cid was worried about how Embla was going to do because she's a pretty big dog with white on her, not the most easily hidden Daemon.
