Charles Léon Denuelle in his later years
Napoleon’s first-born child, Léon Denuelle, died at Pontoise, northwest of Paris, on April 14, 1881, age 74, of stomach or bowel cancer. He was buried in a pauper’s grave in the local cemetery, marked with a black wooden cross. His remains were later dug up to make room for others. He has living descendants.
For details of Léon’s life, see “Napoleon’s Illegitimate Children: Léon Denuelle & Alexandre Walewski.”

"WED UNDER DURESS. COURT AS DICTATOR," Toronto Star. January 29, 1913. Page 1. ---- Man and Woman Lived Together for Twenty Years as Man and Wife. --- HAVE SEVEN CHILDREN ---- An unusual wedding ceremony was celebrated in the Juvenile Court at the City Hall at noon to-day when Rev. J. J. Redditt gave the necessary legal approval to a man and woman to live together after 20 years of such existence without that legal sanction.
During the twenty years the couple had lived together there had been seven children added to the family circle, but neither the man nor the woman wished to get married. Commissioner Starr learned of the conditions, and insisted upon their marriage for the protection of the name of the children. He committed the man to six months in jail, but allowed a short time to consummate the matrimonial vows. This opportunity, however, was not taken advantage of, the man preferring to serve six months in jail, and the woman likewise preferring him to do so.
At this point Commissioner Starr again interfered, and changed the sentence of six months in jail to three years in the penitentiary. The length of the separation was too much for both parties, and they finally consented to the law's decrees.
Difficulty immediately arose as to the amount of money the man would give weekly to the support of the home. The Commissioner placed it at $7 a week, but as the man's earnings were only $15 a week he said that he could not make certain necessary alterations and improvements to the home and pay such an amount weekly. He also raised objection to living with his wife because the eldest daughter, who had given birth to an illegitimate child, was the disturbing influence.
The Commissioner assumed the responsibly to take care of the oldest daughter, and thus remove the disturbing factor. An agreement was also reached whereby the man will contribute a certain sum weekly for food for the family and the other expenses of the home. The wife has an income of $50 a year from an investment in property and $5 a week from the wages of one of the boys will supplement that amount.
The father and mother are agreed in their desire to protect and provide for the children.

"Does that FE3H character have a bastard child?" tier list
Tumblr media
One of the funniest things my sister and I have done with FE3H is create the Sylvain-Dimitri bastard tier list aka. on a scale from Sylvain to Dimitri, would that character have a bastard child?
Sylvain sleeps around and bitterly assumes every woman wants a child from him, so duh, while Dimitri would be so ashamed of holding hands with an unmarried partner, he would immediately marry them and claim all responsibility on the spot
The Gilbert tier is "they might if they weren't rizzless"

God, I'm so down bad for Tododeku. I see one art, one fic, one anything for them and they're all I can think about. No doubt they're one of my comfort and all time favorite ships ever now (like Lukadrinette and Zutara).
Context: you know. That one quote from that one episode during their fight. I saw it in the wild and my brain turned to mush, lol.

Wait! Wait... In 1x03 at about 38min. Lestat says to Louis: "you finally took action to take pleasure in it, we are finally united by the bonds of the dark gift" (that's about it, I'm retranslating it into English but I'm listening to it in French). And if I remember correctly when Lestat and Louis see each other again in 2x08, Louis finally thanks Lestat for the "dark gift".
That means they're finally united, I mean like "we're completely screwed up, we know it and we accept it"??

We have been talking about how good The Incredibles is for the last two decades and it’s completely warranted tbh so here’s a few things I really like about Syndrome’s design:
The obvious: he’s wearing a cape. It is a callback to classic hero designs and is directly called out in the film foreshadowing his eventual death. Also looking closely the inside of his cape is blue, but a darker shade than his Incrediboy costume. Perhaps once again drawing back to the one event on his life he can’t let go, and how his idea of glory days Mr. Incredible is tainted and drags him backwards eventually because he is unable to let it go.
He also still has jet boots like in the prologue. He’s still using a form of the same technology he tried to impress Mr. Incredible with.
The color scheme: black and white. He is not a complex thinker for all his technological intelligence. He thinks in black and white. He’s stuck in an immature mode of thought, obsessed with his childhood hero, despite the fact that his actions basically led to the end of his (and by extension other heroes) careers following the Bomb Voyage L-train accident lawsuits.
Giant ‘S’ on his chest like Superman, but takes up the entire torso instead of being just over the chest. Definitely gives the vibe of overcompensating.
Hair like a mad scientist. And the color! It sort of implies to me that he dyed his hair as a kid to closer resemble Mr. Incredible possibly just as a tribute and possibly as a way to subliminally make Mr. Incredible see some of himself in Incrediboy and take him on as a sidekick. (Side note: I don’t think we ever actually see any sidekicks, at least kid sidekicks in the entirety of the film, except perhaps the Parr kids, who may or may not count. Also I don’t recall Buddy ever saying sidekick, and refers to himself as “your ward” when making his Incrediboy introduction to in the prologue. Make of that what you will, but the viewing of Bob by Buddy as his father figure has some interesting subtext given some theories about Buddy’s parents both being supers themselves.)

Scribbles of the very endearing old man lol.
First doodle is about Clavell taking in the third starter that gets left behind. Second is just my mind wishing Clavell was somehow more involved with the Area Zero stuff since he seemed to personally know the two professors (kinda wish him being their friend was a bigger thing)... and that I like the thought of him flustering amongst them/being more than friends once upon a time. I enjoy the broken poly ship, haven’t fleshed out or thought of anything much yet though. Maybe in the future when I’m a lot less busy! I don’t think he’s that much older than the other two tbh, and if i ever draw the profs more I look forward to give them some greying hairs and such muahah.

If this episode did anything, it kind of hammered in for me the fact that the only Bad Kids with biological siblings (until Fabian's half-siblings inevitably show up) are the Bad Kids with absolutely horrible parents
Kristen's the big sister who had to be the protector and left her brothers without a shield despite needing that space to grow, and Adaine's the little sister who grew up being second-best and overlooked, having to teach herself how to live yet still desperate to prove herself
God that is so fucking sad
