You've already turned back around when you think he's talking to you, however your 'aww' is shut down instantly by him looking at his Mehrak, refusal all over his face as he decides to silently walk ahead, gently grabbing you by your waist and leading the way as you gush over his behaviour.

ღ You were currently in a rush, notepad in one hand and the other frantically waving across any surface you came across - all day, you’ve been searching for items to help you and you couldn’t find anything until you got to Alhaitham’s and told him about your dilemma.

ღ Only to be scolded by him, suggesting that you should be more organised next time. Although throughout the rest of the day, you see supplies that you needed. Quickly shouting a “Ill be taking this pencil for a minute! I’ll give it back later!” told him more than enough.

ღ He didn’t get the pencil back, in fact, you lost it again.

The type of guy to constantly find excuses to check up on you even while he's out doing tasks.

ღ You were set out for multiple tasks during the day, currently in the morning you were helping Nilou with preparations for an upcoming performance, creating small props to go around the stage.

ღ “Hey, that looks heavy i’ll take it from you.” You tense up before turning around and realising that it was Cyno behind you, already grabbing a box of props off of you. Cyno, who was meant to be investigating another one of his cases was instead helping you.

ღ “Huh- Cyno-! Weren’t you meant to be on another case?” You huffed out, trying to stop him as he swiftly avoids you and places the props in their designated spot.

ღ “Well, I’m on the way, just thought i’d stop through a quicker route..” Cyno manages to call out before he gives you a hand a quick squeeze, which you promptly squeeze back in return for confirmation.

The type of guy to tellive you to stop doing something but in reality enjoys you doing it.

ღ “Do you like Unagi Chazuke by chance?” You offer him your steaming bowl. “I’ve already ate so i just wondered if you’d like some.”

ღ You received a huff in response, “Yeah right, whatever, where’d you get it from anyway?” He grumbles as it takes the bowl from you having just come back from an adventure.

ღ “Oh i made it myself!” You proudly exclaimed as Wanderer looks you up and down in approval. Yet to your dismay he shrugs you off, “Go clean yourself up i don’t want to be near you while you stink.”

ღ You sigh in defeat and sulk off to get ready, stopping before you fully close the door to hear him quietly eating the food you learnt to prepare for him.

PKMN ScarVio DLC AU ~ Possessed!Kieran

Just finished the page for my contribution to the good ol’ Toxic Chain theory :OOO

I recently finished the Teal Mask and finishing up the Indigo Disk DLC and while i really did like the fact that Kieran’s actions were all his own and makes him a much more realistic/relatable character, I am feeling a little robbed we didn't get a possessed!kieran + i really did not like the direction they took w/ Mochi Mayhem. I felt like it was WAAAY too silly/comedic for my tastes (if you liked it more power to you tho!), and wish we had more lore/backstory and involvement of Pecharunt and the Loyal 3 respectivally.

so i wanted to try killing two birds with one stone and try to mash ID and MM together somewhat! So heres some sketches and concept stuff ft. My PKMN!Violet sona. And also make this AU ANGSTY AS FUCK-

im not a comedy/crack/silly person when it comes to stories involving manipulation/mind control type of stuff because i just get second hand embarressment for those under doing wierd stuff while not aware so if your looking for a “silly haha!” AU with this type of concept ive got bad news for ya… this AU aint gonna be for you-

Starting off… my design for when Kieran is fully possessed by Pecharunt!

I still really liked the fact that Kieran was like. FULLY aware and in his own mind/body during ID; so i want to keep that in this AU too - for the most part.

id like to think that once making a deal with Pecharunt and offering himself to it in order to become stronger, the little peach would slowly feed him mochi that would “numb the pain and guilt if he ever feels doubtful.” At the time of Pecharunt’s debut to the start of ID, pecharunt is extremely weak and thus, its influence isnt as effective or strong. However, when we meet Kieran again, he’s definately beginning to change. throughout the story, we see Kieran’s spiraling descent into madness as he becomes more intimidating and cynical.

i dont have a specific spot where hed have this outfit change, but ill figure it out lol.

However, i def think it would be a bit after his panic attack/mental break down when we defeat him. Since at this point he couldnt uphold his end of the deal with Pecharunt, it has no choice: he offered his body and mind to it to get stronger, but he couldnt keep it up. So now, he has to pay the price.

(This would be right after the Ex-Champ bit - fuck you Draydon)

however, instead of telling himself to get stronger like in canon… he mumbles something indescernable and unintelligable… and then he starts… laughing?

“K-Kieran…?”

“Uh… yo, earth to ex-champion… you doin’ alright-?”

Suddenly… he glares at us… no. He glares at you, tears streaming down his face but an animalistic and crazily wide smile is plastered on his face as he stumbles back up, hugging himself while letting out what one would think is the most maniacal, despairing, crazy cackling laughter one could hear.

That's when you see it - his eyes, formally a light yellow, now a bright yet darkly sinister shade of violet-magenta. The scrunchie he was wearing began growing two strings of toxic chains that waved around like tentacles, and lifted him up in the air like stilts, purple smoke filling the area.

what was happening… whats happened to Kieran.

i want pecharunt to have a larger role so here they are! After returning the teal mask to me and carmine and running off, he stumbles upon an injured and weak Pecharunt, and secretly nurses it back to health. Behind everyone’s backs the two spark a friendship/partnership!

i like to think pecharunt has good intentions and did genuinely want to help kieran get stronger, but i like to think that the toxins it gave to Kieran not only began to mess with Kieran’s mind, but with Pecharunt’s too.

how exactly? No idea just yet lol- ill figure that out later on down the line lol. Along with the loyal 3’s roles in the story as well.

QUICK DISCLAIMER! IM NOT SHIPPING MYSELF W/ KIERAN SINCE HES IMPLIED TO BE A TEEN AND IM A LEGAL ADULT!! the DLC came out when i was 17; almost 18 (released a few days before my bday actually!)

i like to think that when this story and AU respectively take place, Kieran is 14 while im 16 turning 17 that fall in Teal Mask (Carmine being 18 or 19?), then in Indigo Disc Kieran is 16, im 18, and Carmine is 19/20. So me and kieran are 2 years apart, while me and Carmine are 1-2 years apart.

Its mostly because id like to think me and kieran’s dynamic is similar to a close friend i have irl and wanted to write it as such while retaining the canon story too. If that makes sense lol.

Alex hogs the blankets but George doesn't mind cause he runs a little hot so he normally doesn't notice unless it's really cold, and Alex normally wakes up at some point and covers them both (before hogging them again)

George is normally the first to text most days, and the one to check in through out the day. Alex isn't the best texter even though he makes sure to reply to George as soon as possible, so it's rare he texts first to check in

Who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts:

Alex is a little more creative when it comes to gifts. He also buys joke gifts more than George. So George normally gets a fun and silly gift and a very thoughtful one

Who gets up first in the morning:

George is first to get up. If they're together in their apartment or a hotel, George will make Alex a coffee to wake him up and they'll have a coffee together before they have to start their day

Who suggests new things in bed:

Alex suggests things more often than George, but George is normally happy to try new things even if he blushes a lot while discussing it

Who cries at movies:

Alex does, especially anything to do with animals. George does cry, but it's very rare and Alex always cuddles him when he does (and gently teases him about it later)

Who gives unprompted massages:

George does, especially after Alex complains about the car being uncomfortable so George learns how to give massages so he can help him.

Who fusses over the other when they’re sick:

Alex fusses more. George is more organised and knows what to do when Alex is sick, but George rarely gets ill so Alex always panics a little whenever George does get sick

George gets jealous more than Alex. Alex is very secure in their relationship, and he knows George is hot, so he's used to people flirting with George. George is also secure, but he gets a little jealou and possesive when ever someone makes Alex laugh because that's his job thank you very much

Both of them think the other's music taste is embarassing and tease each other about certain artists or songs that they find the other listening to, but really they listen to a lot of the same stuff.

Who collects something unusual:

The two of them collect things. George likes to collect coins from different currancies to show the places that he has been. Alex likes to collection little animal figurines

Who takes the longest to get ready:

George takes the longest to get ready. Alex is normally pretty laid back and chill about his outfits and hair, whereas George tries to style his hair and takes time considering his outfits.

Who is the most tidy and organised:

George is very tidy and organised, but Alex gets him to lighten up a bit when they move in together.

Who gets most excited about the holidays:

Alex goes all out for the holidays, especialy Christmas. He gets them matching socks, pajama's and awful matching Christmas jumpers that he makes them wear. He loves Christmas, loves cheest Christmas, and George grows to love it too

Who is the big spoon/little spoon:

They don't really spoon. They tend to sprawl over each other with George normally pressing Alex into the bed. When they do spoon, they take turns and it's normally after a bad result

Who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports:

Both of them are competitive but George is bad at most sports besides racing, but that does not stop him from giving it his all and bickering over the results with Alex.

Who starts the most arguments:

George starts debates and they turn into bickering. Mainly because if it's a debate about something silly like which soap smells better, Alex will disagree with everything to make George get flustered

Who suggests that they buy a pet:

Alex does because let's face it, he loves animals and misses hanging out with his familys little zoo. He first suggests it to George just as a "we should get a pet in a few years", but then he see Charles with Leo, and he starts dropping hints.

What couple traditions they have:

One of their oldest traditions is giving each other the silliest nicknames possible. They also try to keep a regular date night, even when they're apart and they will do virtual dates. They make sure to send goodnight and good morning texts every day

What tv shows they watch together:

They watch a lot of documentaries together. A lot of nature ones, and some history when George is in a mood. They watch a lot of comedy shows, and some more serious dramas. Their guilty watch is Cornation Street.

What other couple they hang out with:

They spend some time with George and Alex's siblings and their partners. They also spend time Lando and Charles, Max and Daniel, Logan and his partner

How they spend time together as a couple:

They go cycling together (even though Alex still jokes about his broken collarbone). They play padel together even though George sucks. George likes to watch Alex cook, and Alex likes to watch George bake (a new hobby for George). They watch movies together, they swap books so they can talk about them. Mostly they just chill together between races.

Who made the first move:

Both of them because they ended up kissing while drunk one night, and the next day they both just decided that they were dating now.

Who brings flowers home:

George does because he's a romantic. He even knows what each flower means and Alex has to buy a little book about flower language after George spills the beans while wine drunk one night, so Alex can understand what George is saying to him with his flowers.

Who is the best cook:

Alex is the better cook out of the two even though both of them can cook. George also loves when Alex cooks and looks forward to watching him in the kitchen in the apron Lando bought Alex as a joke one Christmas.

So in this AU, Lifesteal is this sort of organization of assassins/guns for hire, but they are split into their own respective groups. Those groups are somewhat flexible, some of them are literally just friends who are just closer to eachother than the rest and often get assignments together, or actual teams you can hire. They are called the Lifesteal Syndicate (KIND OF STUPID NAME I KNOW SHUT UP.)

ALSO i have put some thought into Minute more!! (ILL WORK ON LEO SOON BUT I HAVE NO IDEAS)

Minute was at first a cop in republic city, but he was recruited into Lifesteal and quitting his job.(WHO THE HELL WOULD RECRUIT A POLICE OFFICER TO BE AN ASSASSIN? WHOEVER ASKED MINUTE APPARENTLY.) He never liked his job anyway, he often felt wrong about certain things. Once he joined he immediately caught the eye of Clown and Leo, two of the strongest people in this Syndicate. He's heard word about these assassins, but the detectives could never get any leads on them. These guys were good. He was asked if he wanted to join the little team they were making, The PMC. Him? The new recruit? The guy who used to be a cop??? Well shit, sure, damn.

basic idea tho is that Ford picked up and adopted a fellow dimension traveler who happens to be a unicorn durning his 30 years on the other side of the portal. Thier name is Linked Hopps, also know as just Link or Hopper

spiderman meme, Hopper definitely picked up some habits and more from ford. she looks up to him and mimics his style

speaking of style heres a full outfit! fully equipped with a saddle bag full of goodies, a pair of glasses that probably have a shit ton of useful features. (she doesnt actually need them to see after all) straps on her back legs that are full of weapons and useful items. the uh necklace isn't supposed to be a necklace but rather part of a hood with a little clip to the corner bit.

oooo color yay, so a bit of backstory. Link here had a cracked horn. happened when she was about 5 or 6ish?(age isnt really set in stone but it happened before discovering her talent) and it makes doing painful and veryyy difficult. with the help of ford the two mange to make some enchanted rings that focuses her magic and aids the pain of doing so. its not a full fix what so ever but she can at least levitate stuff if needed. if she uses it too much the pain will get unbearable and she may pass-out. in emergencies Link has full on yoinked Ford out of danger. in fact its probably by doing exactly this that the two of them were able to get to through the portal at the same time(i will elaborate more on that with another post later)

now, let's talk about those scars, huh? link here had the joy of landing right into the perfect spot within the fallout universe to wind up suckered into new vegas' old world blues DLC. why? bc i love that series and can do whatever i want. Link's portals tend to lead her to completely random places and worlds. after getting a better handle on how her poition portals work, Link is able to somewhat reliable hop back to previous places shes been to. Oh nearly forgot, the way those special poitions work is a combination of her haywire magic, a mixture of ingredients(major changing factor on where she ends up), and a dash of her own blood.

this i would place as not long after the two first meeting and deciding to travel together. Ford took her on as an "apprentice" and taught her everything he could. Hopper was at max 10 or 11 years old when they discovered/got lost in the multiverse and for Funzies ill place the time of meeting at around 12 or 13. parallels and all that.

fancy rich boy with fancy rich boy clothes! his clothes aren't necessarily flashy or special but you can definitely tell they're high quality

his sense of perfectionism definitely carries over into how he dresses and he takes really good care of his belongings. you will not catch him in clothes that are wrinkled or ill fitting or otherwise flawed. he will die.

you'd think that would make him judgemental of how others dress but that's not the case! partly because he's aware of how stupid the rules he has for himself are and partly because he's too busy being self conscious about his own looks anyway :)

vampires are pretty temperature resistent if that makes sense? wether it's hot or cold doesn't really bother them too much so that doesn't technically have any effect on how they dress but in general the majority of them try to dress appropriate to the weather to not rouse suspicion

I cant get over a reply to my take that Stede’s sweetness to Ed isnt patronizing, its meant to be besties sharing soft things with each other. The person said Stede treated Ed and his crew as an asshole colonizer specifically teaching Ed fine dining. Like brah if thats your take block me now cuz I cant even.

I can disagree w ppl on silly shit (steddyhands say) but when you weaponize a whole major set of plot points as whypipo when thats clearly not what it is, just go back to twitter. I think almost every script had at least one poc contributing to it. They never seem to know that. (And yes holy fuck would a colonizer be common irl and irl stede bonnet was an asshole and slave owner no argument).

As for the fine dining lessons: Ed ASKED for uppercrust lessons! Ed, mr ‘skin him with the snail fork’ sat there and genuinely wanted to learn. Ppl who think about skinning w snail forks dont generally stand for patronizing shit.

In fact Ed wanted to go to the French party cuz fine things and it was a chance to work on what Stede had taught him (and remember it wasnt one sided, Ed was teaching him shit too) and Stede didnt want to go!!! But he went! Cuz Ed wanted to! And when they insulted Ed be burned them to the ground.

As for the crew on face value id agree he was patronizing. But thats as lazy as the yummy soap take. It has been said by Rhys and others Stede saw this as a chance to play w friends he basically paid to spend time w him. They were all free to go.

And what stands out to me is several times we are shown Stede thinks of them as equals. When Lucius says only the two of them can read hes shocked by that. Never dawned on him most of them would be illiterate. Yes hes dumb (illiteracy was extremely common back then) but that says to me he never thought of these ppl are lower class than me.

He pays them, he feeds them, he added a bunch of rooms just to spoil them (u cant tell me the jam room was for his kids when the harpsichord is in his cabin). He plans little activities to keep them happy and doesnt MAKE them do anything (or punish them if they dont). He tried to talk Black Pete into sewing but never forced him. Instead of picking a fav flag he hung all of them cuz he cares about them (who else would do that cmon?!)

They only decide not to kill him cuz he can do the voices in the stories right. They love bedtime stories! Again its not forced or punished if not. Same for pickleball etc.

But the biggest one to me is what ppl grab onto just on the surface. We know racism, slavery and homophobia do all exist in this universe and we whiff it right away in ep 1. Yes the poc staff is relegated to playing servants but we werent shown who decided that (id bet frenchie cuz he knows rich assholes and u dont want to piss off the british navy).

Stede only went for that ship to make his crew like him, and only brought Badminton and co onboard to save everyone from the british navy. He immediately takes everyone into his room and dishes out outfits and fake names/backstories. This includes everyone poc and white.

How the fuck do u reckon that man had an outfit that fit not only Oluwande but Wee John?! Perfectly might i add. Its never shown what happens after only Olu still being in costume after they send the lone survivor back. Im making a leap ill agree but me thinks he had that shit custom made for his crew esp cuz a few of them had complimentary pieces. And there is no good reason that man would have something for someone as tall and large as Wee John.

The Brits dont start being shitty tip after Stede and the captain leave. At which point Jim, Black Pete and several others attack. They have no time for that shit and Stede never argues about it later. In fact he had a plan to send the beheaded bodies and lone survivor back.

And then theres the fact later Stede has a matching set of tailored suits for him, Lucius and his fuckin prisoner!!! I mean it was his idea to do that, and he had the clothes. When he meets Ed properly he doesnt even hesitate to show him his pretty clothes or share them. They stay in each others clothes all night.

In fact i looked this up and ur average wealthy man had 4 sets of clothes in this time period. Stede is obviously obsessed w clothing. Your average person was lucky to have two sets if even. Those outfits had to cost an insane amount of money even for a wealthy man.

If u were truly a classist, colonist asshole u wouldnt be doling out thousand dollar outfits like candy.

I could go on but i think what makes fake Stede endearing as a character is he is genuinely happy to make friends. And he never seems to view them lesser whether it be race or class. I just cant agree.

okay so basically there are 3 main factors that affect the accuracy of someone's memory: interference, context, and false memories. ill just explain them basically n relate them to mikey AND BAJI’s situation and why i think its kinda weird that peopole r saying mikeys memory is unreliable or whatever

interference is when 2 or more memories r “competing” with each other, so one memory might prevent us from accessing the other memory. the most common piece of ‘evidence’ i see to back up the mikey theory is how his clothes changed or smth? its not impossible that, since hes relaying this memory years after it happened AND he wears similar outfits a lot of the time anyways, he could have mixed up 2 memories of him walking to shins shop. idk how probable it is but it definitely isnt impossible.

(context isnt relevant to this bc it IMPROVES the accurcy of memory but im still gonna explain what it means cuz the more you know the better ig 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️)      context is when other things that are present at the time of the memory act as a cue for recall. eg: you may be more likely to do well on a test if you do it where you learnt the content

false memories is self explanatory but i wont go into it bc i dont think its relevant here.

honestly the most relevant ones here r interference and (this isnt one of the main ones but still) emotion.

in my opinion, i think that baji is the one more likely to have unreliable memory seeing as he just went through something extremely traumatizing and was obviously pretty unstable bc of it. someone else said (i forgot the @ but ill edit it in later) that baji probably just didnt pay attention to what mikey was wearing. 

im not really going anywhere with this, its just a thought, but the whole ‘mikey is the one with inaccurate memory’ is a bit upsetting, especially when people try to use his mental illness as a way to justify it. it just doesnt make much sense idk
