ˊˎ- Kaveh

Kaveh the type of guy to hold you by a small part of your outfit, either by your arm or waist.

ღ "The street is rather busy today," You hum, turning back to look at Kaveh who was closing the door to the café you were both previously discussing plans inside of over lunch.

ღ "Hm, don't want you getting lost either." You've already turned back around when you think he's talking to you, however your 'aww' is shut down instantly by him looking at his Mehrak, refusal all over his face as he decides to silently walk ahead, gently grabbing you by your waist and leading the way as you gush over his behaviour.

ˊˎ- Alhaitham

ღ The type of guy to randomly place items you like to your convenience around your place.

ღ You were currently in a rush, notepad in one hand and the other frantically waving across any surface you came across - all day, you’ve been searching for items to help you and you couldn’t find anything until you got to Alhaitham’s and told him about your dilemma.

ღ Only to be scolded by him, suggesting that you should be more organised next time. Although throughout the rest of the day, you see supplies that you needed. Quickly shouting a “Ill be taking this pencil for a minute! I’ll give it back later!” told him more than enough.

ღ He didn’t get the pencil back, in fact, you lost it again.

ˊˎ- C yno

The type of guy to constantly find excuses to check up on you even while he's out doing tasks.

ღ You were set out for multiple tasks during the day, currently in the morning you were helping Nilou with preparations for an upcoming performance, creating small props to go around the stage.

ღ “Hey, that looks heavy i’ll take it from you.” You tense up before turning around and realising that it was Cyno behind you, already grabbing a box of props off of you. Cyno, who was meant to be investigating another one of his cases was instead helping you.

ღ “Huh- Cyno-! Weren’t you meant to be on another case?” You huffed out, trying to stop him as he swiftly avoids you and places the props in their designated spot.

ღ “Well, I’m on the way, just thought i’d stop through a quicker route..” Cyno manages to call out before he gives you a hand a quick squeeze, which you promptly squeeze back in return for confirmation.

ˊˎ- Wanderer

The type of guy to tellive you to stop doing something but in reality enjoys you doing it.

ღ “Do you like Unagi Chazuke by chance?” You offer him your steaming bowl. “I’ve already ate so i just wondered if you’d like some.”

ღ You received a huff in response, “Yeah right, whatever, where’d you get it from anyway?” He grumbles as it takes the bowl from you having just come back from an adventure.

ღ “Oh i made it myself!” You proudly exclaimed as Wanderer looks you up and down in approval. Yet to your dismay he shrugs you off, “Go clean yourself up i don’t want to be near you while you stink.”

ღ You sigh in defeat and sulk off to get ready, stopping before you fully close the door to hear him quietly eating the food you learnt to prepare for him.

ღ He was sure to teach you his way of making Unagi Chazuke next time.

ˊˎ- Tighnari

Will bring you on adventures/trips with him if he knows they are safe

ღ Tighnari knows you can hold your own ground with most of the forest monsters, and he loves to bring you along to teach you all the knowledge he has about the forest.

ღ "Hey, wake up sleepy head." Tighnari half-whispers to you as your grumble your way upright on your sofa. Sounding a soft grunt for the pat on your head from Tighnari, an ounce of encouragement for your sleepy state.

ღ Rubbing your eyes to get rid of the last of your sleep, you look up at Tighnari already packed and prepared by the door of your home, eagerly awaiting you to come with him.

ˊˎ- Neuvillette

Will ensure you get flowers every week by hand (or if he's busy he will get one of the melusines to hand you them)

ღ When you first joked about Neuvillette getting you flowers on the occasion, you didn't realise that he had taken that seriously - to which, you find out when on the next Monday to arrive to his office he had prepared a bouquet of Fontaine speciality flowers.

ღ This would then happen every week. if there was no bouquets in the mans hands, he would have them pre-prepped at either his office for when you arrive to join him at your lunch breaks or he would have them sent to your home.

ღ "Monsieur Neuvillette!" You greeted the man at your door at the crack of dawn, standing there, holding a large bouquet once again. Looking. back to your kitchen which has scattered vases of other flowers Neuvillette had gotten you which were yet to pass.

ˊˎ- Lyney

Will always be the first to move your hair out of your face.

ღ "Don't move." A sudden hand comes in front of your face while you're trying to read the recent news on Lyney and Lynette's recent performance.

ღ Your body stiffens in shock, view blocked by a hand in a glove. Lyney slowly removes his hand to look at your face, a satisfied smile on him. "Your hair was in your face, must've been disturbing you," he chimes, a hint of blush crossing his now rosy-tainted cheeks.

ღ Then his soft smile turns into one of a smirk, “It seems i’m forgetting something…” to which he pulls a flower from behind your ear. “There it is!” His smile returns when a blush is gained on both of your faces.

ღ “Did you see that adorable little earmuff set?” You gush to Childe over your tea and snacks while at home, you had invited Childe over for the small time he had before going back onto a task to who-knows-where.

ღ He nods in agreement, “Yeah you’d look amazing in it, don’t you think?” He playfully winks at you with a small nudge of his foot against your leg. “No! It’s so expensive, and totally not for me!” You cry out, even if you wanted something like that your current pay is not enough for it. You’d have to miss a couple meals for a week or two…

ღ Although the next day, at your door is a small gift within the hands of what is presumably a co-worker of Childe’s. “He told me to give this to you before he left - he’s extremely sorry he couldn’t give you it in person.”

ღ You take it and sit inside, to see the set of earmuffs you had spoken about at dinner.

ˊˎ- Xiao

Subconsciously traces your back while you sleep.

ღ As a Yaksha, Xiao doesn’t need sleep. However, you do. And you’re always sleepy no matter what, however it’s best at night when Xiao isn’t as busy. People are quiet, you are quietly snoring next to him as he lays next to you.

ღ His hand gently brushes against your exposed back, large shirt falling as he rubs his hands up and down your back. His touch is so light, he’s barely tracing your skin, but enough for your hair to feel his touch. So scared he may hurt you one day doing this.

ღ He can tell you’re awake when your breathing changes - so don’t expect anything like this when you pretend to sleep.

ˊˎ- Zhongli

Remembers the smaller details in everything you say.

ღ You find yourself often talking about many things with Zhongli, unsure why as to how you’re always so drawn towards the man who is often silently observing you as you talk about another topic you are sure he isn’t aware of this time.

ღ “But did you know what she was wearing? A golden silk dress!” You explain in detail, mumbling over the dress’s information which was apparently very important to you even if forgotten 5 minutes later.

ღ Yet, when you end up replaying the same story to him, he sits and listens intently, “and then, from what i remember she was wearing a blue silk dress! Blue isn’t even her colour! you’d think she out of everyone would know..!” You huff at the recollection.

ღ “Wasn’t it a gold silk dress?” Zhongli politely interrupts and corrects you. Whining as u cover your face, you sigh in agreement. Dragging out a long fake sob.

ღ Really though, you’re glad at least someone is listening to you - even if you don’t listen.

Furina, Navia & Clorinde.

notes; im not the most familiar with the girls, ESPECIALLY clorinde, imo she's just not have enough screentime to deduct enough things out of her. :( Sorry if shes ooc

Furina

You definitely need to have high patience for Furina, as her outgoing performances of being Fontaine's Archon, she must act the part! Holding your hand - basically dragging you - across Fontaine. "Oh this would look AMAZING on you, simply amazing!" She would announce to the world as she is holding a piece of extravagant clothing against you. Maybe it was on purpose to let people know you were close, as it comes with a little matching trinket she also coincidentally owns. She wouldn't admit it to your face though.

Like previously; she would LOVE to take you places, whether it be sweet treat testing, clothes shopping or just being in awe at the scenery around you, for Furina would frequently be looking back to make sure you are enjoying yourself. If you point it out to her, she will - much to her dismay - refuse to admit she was looking at you and would in fact try change the subject to a cat she saw walking on the roof of a building behind you.

Would 100% LOVE to be fed cakes she enjoys, something humane and sweet while you are sat in her room together, as a recorder you were suggesting for Furina to listen to for a while runs quietly in the background. As much as she loves to be fed, she would tell you to open up and go "Ahh" as she gently places a small piece of a cake in your mouth.

She will talk a bunch on the return after watching a "performance", If you just admire her she will either become more flustered or will feel more entitled to keep on talking, you wouldn't mind either way. While she talks she uses her hands to communicate with gestures, as you sit across from her, head resting in your palm as you listen. Maybe take note on any if they have any romantic drama, she might be hinting at you that she wants something.

Will force you to come to meetings with her, and if it is with someone who makes her anxious, expect her to hold your hand and play with your fingers cautiously.

Has 0 shame in PDA, however, would prefer to keep it to a minimal of hand holding or hugs in public, she prefers to verbally tell the world you are hers and she is yours.

Navia

Many many Baking dates! If you can't bake, that's okay! Stir something for her! Or help her by cleaning something up. Just you being there makes her so happy you want to enjoy something she does.

Definitely goes and buys matching pendants for you, if you aren't that sort of person she will find an object that you can both hold dear to you. Such as matching teacups! She is a very flexible person when it comes to gifts. She loves buying you whatever she can, however she does prefer to stick to sweet goods.

Dancing in her kitchen together, or if you're alone any make-shift kitchen she creates in the moment. While waiting for the macarons to bake, you gently place your hand on her hip and lift her arm up, swaying slowly as she giggles and places her hands on you in return, gliding around as you twirl with her.

Loves it if you ask her for anything, any help, you two are there for each other so why not make use of it? She can become a very busy woman though, so don't go over boarding the requests!

She plays with her hair when she is nervous, just grabs a strand and twirls it in her fingers. If she doesn't want to be as obvious, the hem of her dressing will become her new best friend. Gently twisting the fabric on her hands, rubbing it together as unease sets over her. Hold her hand - give it a soft squeeze - let her know she is okay and you are there.

Clorinde

(once again, i apologise if this is ooc)

If anything does ever happen she's quick to find out and come to your aid, you are her priority. If you're clumsy she'll keep a box of aid on her at all times, due to this while you walk she will have an arm hovering around your side, as she isn't a fan of PDA herself, she will keep a distance between the two of you.

Practically acting as a bodyguard as most people assume when you are first spotted while walking together in the streets. No one will confront you or try straggle for higher prices around the two of you. It’s like walking a doberman, you have big scary dog privileges.

She will refuse to teach you her sword art. However, she will be 100% on teaching you how to defend yourself - if you don’t know how to - coming close and personal to you if you posture is off, standing right behind you as she helps you position yourself for defence or attack. She just wants to make sure you’re safe when she can’t be there to help you. Though, while you two are together, she's soft like putty, completely melts in your arms and just wants to relax. You are her safeguard at home when you are alone.

Clorinde is serious and always ready to take things head-on. This does not involve a private life full of fun and puns. She may be slow to catch onto sarcasm too, taking everything you say seriously - she wants the best for you - even if you made it rather obvious that you were joking. She, was not - which may have causes a couple small arguments or surprises.

She loves animals as much as she may not admit it. She’s probably had a few pets in her lifetime, so when she comes to you and you’re holding a stray kitten, she can’t say no to you when you both send pleading eyes her way. You didn’t think it would be that easy, but it was all worth it when you see the two of them on your sofa, sleeping together, Clorinde holding a protective hold against the kitten who’s snuggled into her neck as she’s on her side. Gently pulling a blanket and kissing her forehead gently you wish her a good sleep.

When Clorinde has to go for duty for longer than usual, you’ll see her gazing out into the window or door as she is in her office. She looks up expectantly as her door opens, however to her dismay it wasn’t you. Wow, how she missed you so much. When the person leaves her office she pulls out a picture you took of the two of you for her, with a small note on the back, “Miss you so much, remember to take care of yourself!” She looks, smiling at the picture before swiftly place bc it back in her pocket. Another person came in.

She's entrancing you. Every movement, the flutter of her eyes as her legs control the light that has been struggling to catch up with her as she prances her way across the stage. Your mind goes to other places - Furina has been unusually interested in you, why wouldn't she invite Neuvillette instead of you?

You watch the way her chest heaves in excitement and thrill as you applaud her, gaze fixed on you.

"Wasn't that just amazing?" She gawps, hopping off the stage and running up to your seat, pulling your hands into hers. The proximity between the two of you is nothing but a few centimetres. But oh, how the way her eyes are staring into yours intensely. Oh, she's staring. You look away from any part of her face as you realise this, her eye contact with you is going to eat you whole, - you can feel your chest feel empty with nervousness - you feel hot suddenly and you avert your gaze to anywhere but her in a panic, as much as she tries to keep in frame with your eyes, you avoid her.

You close your eyes and smile at her briefly to the best of your current abilities. "It was amazing Furina," your smile widens as you attempt to look at back her, excitement filling up her body, or is it ego? "Maybe you could teach me how to dance like you." You joke around, taking a step back to place some space between you.

"Oh. My." She gasps, "Do you, Y/N really not know how to dance?" She grins, oh how pretty she is. You're cut off from your thoughts however as she pulls you forward to the stage, "Let's go then! This'll be great!" Her steps are quick, causing you to trip on your on feet from where you were stood. Was this a good idea?

Even though you were just extremely close to her, you can't help but feel nervous as she places a hand on your hip and then uses the other to place your hand on her shoulder.

She starts moving her feet to the left, and you clumsily follow - looking down to see where her feet go next. She's slow, and keeps her eyes on you - you can feel her eyes on you, examining you, as you try to copy her. - fixated on something that you refuse to give.

"Why don't you look at me?" She quietly hums as you stare, bewildered from the comment. Your face, red in embarrassment shakes in denial as you continue to look at your feet together.

Time comes to slow the dance and you know what she wants from you, you have seen it all the time. It's time for you to hold her close, and personal like you're cradling her heart. The way you spin with her becomes more fluid, like you're two regions of water mixing. If anything at this point she has full control over where you go and how you step.

"You are avoiding me, reader." She becomes more stern, controlling and like a true archon demanding for a request to be complete. "Look at me, please." She pleads this time, leaning her head to be able to look at you. As much as you turn your head she persists, you're getting dizzier by the second as she controls your movement.

The music in the background comes to be and you have had it with her constancies making you feel guilty. Your heart aches, a stinging feeling that plunges deep into you. She pulls away from you, however still holding onto your hand. This time, you search for her eyes, her smile, anything that screams 'Furina' but you're left with nothing but a solemn expression. Is this how she feels against you? Like a fighting battle, ignoration of beauty from one. How it aches you to see her this way. So instead of letting go, you pull her back, setting her feat off-guard and face perplexed as you dip her to the ground.

Looking Furina in the eyes you sigh, "You make me nervous, Furina." You look away briefly, then back at her with panic in your eyes, "Sorry-"

You are stopped, pulled in by the neck to a passionate kiss, Furina's lips collide against your own, shock spreading throughout your body in realization what is happening. Losing grip on her as your arms become weak, you pull her back up with your last strength - leaving the kiss - clueless on what to do. It was something small, passionate and sweet. Something you'd like to call, "genuine".

For the final time, the music comes to a finale and you bring your eyes towards her own mis-matched ones. Furina is smiling, a genuine smile - the one she only wore around you two alone, - and if you looked close enough you could've sworn you could see a little tear prick the corners of her eyes.

"You finally looked at me."

New Years HCs

notes; I am sosososo sorry for being so inactive, im kinda tipsy rn and i just wanted to post smth so have these two guys :3 feel free to suggest some ^-^

Chars; Alhaitham, Kaeya

Alhaitham

Alhaitham takes you to a private room around 5 minutes before the clock strikes 12 with no words shared between you two, slipping into a deep trance between each other's silence.

You bathe in his eyes as he takes you into a garden, full of flowers that bloom for winter a beautiful aura around. You started dating Alhaitham around a month ago, every time you look at him you fall in love all over again.

The countdown starts, you can hear everyone across the streets start counting down from 20. Alhaithams calm eyes pierce yours as you are fixated on him. His hands, holding yours gently from where he guided you. They gently loop around your own without either noticing.

You jokingly nudge his shoulder, "No pressure or anything, but this is my first kiss." His hands stiffen slightly and he pauses, "I've never done this either." Yet, those words calm both you down instantly knowing neither of you are good at this kind of thing, and there is no boundary that should be pushed.

You close the gap between you and Alhaitham as he awkwardly holds you close towards him when you share that kiss. It wasn't anything GREAT, just two people simply in love and trying things together for the first time.

It's awkward when you pull back finally, neither of you know what to say. Yet, your eyes will meet his and all you can think to do is smile.

"Alhaitham?" You whisper, "I've been wanting to kiss you for a while." You admit, as you loosen the grip you held on him, his face admits a perplexed look on his face, before he swiftly takes you in again.

Connecting your lips for a second time coming, a smile in your kiss as you look back to him, a doting smile on your face, in which he returns the best he can. "I love you." "I love you a little bit more."

Safe to say, it became a sweet tradition between you two to share secret kisses in the garden where no one could see you.

Kaeya

You had no one to celebrate new years with usually, until you met the Cavarly Captain Kaeya, who introduced you to his co-workers and friends alike, which lead to you be in Angel Shares currently with Kaeya and Rosaria.

However, Kaeya was partaking in conversation across the tavern, leaving you to silently drink with Rosaria, not that there was anything wrong with that - you honestly love Rosaria dearly, she's a great friend (and therapist).

"Why dont you talk to him?" Rosaria blurts out after finishing her 5th drink for the night. "Y'know... It's hard to not see the way your eyes are always watching his movements, kinda creepy if you're not careful with how much you look." She smirks, as her point is proven when Kaeya U-turns into your direction, directly looking at you.

"Goodluck." She turns around and goes to Diluc, who was serving at the bar - requesting yet another drink.

"Hey princess," Kaeya's arm hooks around your shoulder as he leans down to talk in your ear. "Can we have a talk? Just us. You and me." He has that suspicious smile on his face which screams "I want to cause problems!". Reluctantly, you follow him outside.

He's dramatic - theres a pause between the two of you as he takes you around the corner and you're nervous for once, until you hear the loud shouts of the tavern members counting down for the new year.

"Are we about to kiss right now?" You jokingly punch his arm, laughter turning into a gasp when you are pinned against the tavern wall, he leans in, closing the gap every second the tavern members count down. It's almost teasing. On one, he pulls away from you, yet his arm lingers above you. And complete defeat rolls out in expression, the breath you didn't realise you were holding gets released rather loudly.

He triumphantly grins to himself before leaning back into giving you a passionate kiss, his free hand curling against your face, landing against your cheek as he gently pulls you closer to him, away from the cold wall and into his warm heart.

He's smiling through this kiss, a gentle push against your lips. It's as if the world has grown into a multitude of new colours and smells when you pull away from Kaeya. "I've loved you ever since I first laid my eyes on you." Kaeya looks in your eyes, and you swear to yourself you're lost on him. He's your alcohol, your high.

"I've always loved you too."
