Fernando 2012 Chair Lore (source: me)
So I've been thinking a lot about Fernando sitting in this particular chair in the Ferrari garage in 2012 for [redacted] reasons:
Originally I just wanted to find more pictures of it for reference, and then went down a rabbit hole of 2012 pictures, trying to figure out when exactly the chair came to be. There's so many pictures of him in it, and it's so funny to me to imagine them hauling this super villain chair all around the world for him. And so now I'm obsessed with the evolution of it:
Pre-Chair - Australia to Bahrain:
He just had this little stool, well I should say big because it somehow still manages makes him look small. Clearly not comfortable; to paraphrase @sweatyflytrap, it's not conducive to his inner Shakespeare villain monologues
The Chair Appears - Spain
He suddenly now has this, aforementioned, super villain chair. Several things, why is it like this. It looks like a sim chair almost ngl. And then the weird plexiglass support is confusing me, like where did they get that. It furthers my narrative they just had this chair that they couldn't put in a car so they put that clear bottom on it. Anyways yes good, now he has somewhere to brood

i dont think its a bad thing necessarily that sega is always re releasing the classic sonic games and keeping them easily accessible but i also cant help but wish that they cared about keeping older modern sonic games accessible even half as much as they care about keeping the original games accessible
#and NO im not asking for remasters of those games i do not want that . im asking for ports and re releases#at the very least for the games that are stuck on one or two consoles that arent available anymore#like we already have the classic games on every device known to man. some consoles have Multiple official ways to play those games#can we get some love for modern sonic maybe#ik theyve made some progress with this within the past few years with sonic colors ultimate and sonic x shadow generations but like#theyre doing it so slow . because they feel the need to remaster the games and add a bunch of new content.#which . as much as i loved shadow generations. is not what im asking for . i just want those old games to be accessible#and also sonic colors and sonic generations arent even that old so they dont really fit what im talking about#also while i say its a good thing that sega is trying to keep the classic sonic games accessible.#i do think it was scummy of them to take down individual listings of the classic games to force people to buy sonic origins#fuck that

can't even begin to explain the grip that netflix daredevil charlie cox had on me as a teenager like i actually read all of waids and millers runs of the dd comics because of the show i was obsessed. daredevil as a character is still one of my favourites of all time but i'm not paying attention to anything new going on with that i'd rather let it all stay in my memory and leave it be

One piece headcanon: Zoro is POSIC+
(POSIC+ : (the) Perception of Object Sentience, Individuality, and Consciousness)
I think his relationship and perception of things like his swords (which he see's as having distinct personalities and consiousness') aswell as his view of the going merry (chapter 327, last page) being just as sentient as usopp and luffy make it so i wouldnt consider it a streatch to interpret his character this way.

Vanitas is an art genre... Now I understand.
It's a genre of still art that uses symbolism to depict the certainty of death and, to make matters worse, how life is short.
If this is the inspo behind his name that would make so much sense. Like for starters, his dramatics are unmatched in the show. It's mostly an initial front but when you really look further, much like an art piece, the details really show. It paints a morbid picture but one of truth and beauty.
