i feel like a trait of “tumblr sexyman” that’s getting lost as of late is. the incomprehensibility of it all. i will see characters who are just like, conventionally attractive anime men be referred to as sexymen and its like. no. no. like its not just “any dude some tumblr people lose their shit for”, a fundamental part of the experience of like, learning about tumblr sexyman is that your initial reaction to learning a character is a sexyman is to go ���how the fuck could ANYONE ever find this sexy”. a shortstack funny comedy skeleton. a character from a dr seuss book whose only viewable limbs are their arms. the incredibly low poly model of a half life 1 security guard. your first reaction upon learning what the sexyman is should be confusion and bafflement. it’s core to the whole concept.

Honestly its pretty fucked up how children are taught about how Thanksgiving is a fun and happy holiday about celebrating how the pilgrims made friends with the native Americans and learned how to farm and shit. Like the quizzes and activities kids do around thanksgiving about how it was all about making friends and how it was this wonderful thing that wasn’t bad at all. On some level I can understand not teaching kindergarteners about violent genocide, but I feel like there should be a better alternative than what schools went with.

Even if it is a character in a meme or something, I always think its a good idea to tag posts with either the name of the character which appears in the image or what show something is from. As someone who is triggered by plenty of fictional characters (not so much due to the characters, and more regarding events which occurred while a tv show or movie was playing) I always try to tag stuff with whatever is present.

Doesn’t have to be as a warning necessarily, just what the character is or is from. Plus when someone doesn’t know who it is, they can find out via the tags. So its still relevant.

i am confused regarding reality. sorting through real things and not raal things. when will it all be fixed? not sure? time moves back and forth but how can you really be sure when seconds pass? how is it possible to find enjoyment in random numbers or concepts? it’s all the same thing? perhaps we will continue reading that book instead. i would if less tired. quite possibly in the morning. the only way to erase the pain and memories is to uncontrollably forget them, alongside the past times which they were remembered. and thus i am left but a shell. not knowing what happened. what will happen. what is happening. i suppose that it can be turned into a good thing.
