One for next episode, one more bullying oblivious Y/N (including the implication that in a hypothetical game of Uno they'd deny the truth when spelled out in front of them), as well as not really a meme but after "#lowkey losing it over the implication that y/n is texting vanessa about their cryptid boyfriend" I couldn't help myself. Post happy ending hangouts have a very special flavor now <3
So now that we know the marriage market/schemes of the ton are not Benedict‘s cup of tea & he spends the better part of s3 running away from debutantes who want to marry him… I need Sophie (or whoever is going to be his love interest in his season) to be the incarnation of the word no. I need this lovely lady to be absolutely uninterested in this jokester puppy of a Bridgerton so that he HE has to run after HER. And she’s just like no thanks & completely uninterested & pragmatic/down-to-earth all the time until he like…cries & begs her to marry her I guess?
Hi! I just wanted to pop in and say I have been very inspired by your posts for my own clan writing, it's so good and I wish I could give you a cookie or something! The recent posts made me want to share a difference I have made for my own work. I'm including the concept of reincarnation, where faded souls and 'killed' souls end up getting recycled by the universe (going by the irl law of energy, energy cannot be destroyed, only changed). A true final death would be very very rare and would need something powerful to have caused it (like One-Eye the literal god munching on Tom). I feel like completely destroying souls is something the erins have thrown around a bit too much since introducing the Dark Forest, and the very concept should be utterly HORRIFIC to a culture that partakes in ancestor worship.
I committed to the things in this AU back when I was trying to stick close to canon, but just build out on what was already there. If I was approaching the project totally new, I would probably have done a lot more with reincarnation.
Or just generally not letting spirits die. But, I made my fixes with canon in mind and I'm satisfied with what I made, so it remains.
I do think they kill spirits too flippantly in canon. Like Snowtuft, Darktail, and Redwillow. I think the story would have been better if all three of those cats had been left alive, and their willingness to just axe interesting cats is one of the modern series's worst weaknesses.
I’m fairly new to the fandom, but I do have a question if you can answer it! Why do people ship Daigo with Aoki / Masato? I tried looking to see if they’ve interacted before, but couldn’t find anything! Sorry for asking I’m just </3 dumb AND I LOVE YOUR ART OF THEM!!! Nerd looking ahhhhhh
