(I’m ngl, I’m not even that big of a fan of Everlasting Trio 😭 I thought it was a friendship tag or a group name tag, until I found out that it was actually a ship name tag lmao. I’ve always hc them as qpp, and I’m a little obsessed with TimxDanixKon, so I’m ambivalent about Everlasting Insomniacs. However, I don’t hate it and I don’t mind it!)

“That’s what I’m saying! Like why are you going to do all of that just to change your mind later? Like if you have the balls to start throwing a tantrum to me, you should have the balls to stick to your ideals, right?!” Tucker ranted.

Danny nodded. “You should just ignore him. He’s annoying as hell.”

“I can’t! He sits next to me in almost all of my classes! I think this is a conspiracy from god to test me!”

Sam snorted as she lead the group through the halls of Danny’s lair, but as they opened the living room, they noticed a figure lying on the couch.

They all paused and then approached. Tim laid on his stomach on the couch, clearly in the midst of working on his computer when he had finally succumbed to sleep.

Tucker leaned closer and poked him. Tim gave a small snore and didn’t wake up.

“Wow, it’s so unfair how he’s still so pretty while drooling all over the couch,” Tucker said.

Sam snorted again, “Have you seen the Waynes? God has favorites.”

“And it’s definitely not you,” Danny snickered, ribbing Tucker with his elbow. Tucker gave a light growl, making Danny squeal from faux fear. Sm quickly shushed them and they settled back down.

Danny looked back at Tim’s sleeping figure. “Now what? We can’t watch a movie if he’s asleep.”

Sam hummed and then said, “Y’know what? Tucker, get your laptop. We’ll watch a movie there. Danny, get some snacks and drinks. I’ll get the blankets.”

Kinda wanna remind everyone too, when Tae dropped that Hawaii pic of him and Jk with staff right before the AYS trailer and how it sent shippers into a frenzy and they started hammering on Jikook and AYS, saying it proved it was a fanservice show, blah, blah, tk real private yada yada, Tae sending us signals, claiming his man, you know the usual. And pretty much the entire fandom was at each others throats, like it was bad. Shippers vs shippers, solos vs solos. The harassment and targeting Jikook's relationship. Guess who came online immediately after? Jimin. Jimin who had been very quiet pretty much for a long time, came to say he was doing well, not to worry, but he said something very important, that he is now a soldier and careful of what he posts online. I think his message was clear and not only a subtle message to Tae, but the fans, considering Jikook were being attacked so bad & their show being called a fraud And that is exactly what JK did, this time coming online not even 24 hours after a hell storm. So they do both defend their relationship, the best way they can without just flat out saying back off. So yes, Jimin has come online in the middle of chaos, like JK. Maybe not as much, but he and Jk are the only ones who do it when a mess is made and fans start acting up bad. That should tell you something. That they clearly don't like it, but trying to remain professional.

JK has for sure swooped in with his lives a few times to try and calm fans down (I’ll never forget that post-FESTA dinner live 😭). I think he was probably already planning on doing a live during his break, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the recent situation was also a motivator.

With JM’s comment, I’m not sure if it was intentional or not tbh, but the timing was definitely pretty funny lol so it does make you wonder. I also just appreciate his letters, they’re always so sincere and you can tell he really puts a lot of thought and care into them (I’ll never forget the first letter he wrote to us post-training, handwritten and the little creases 🥺)

But you know what I also think is super cool about Jikook? The way they also just ignore all the noise and stay unbothered.

in CH2 alone there’s Jikook going to Japan together in the middle of the situation with JJKs tagging the military, JM posting JK’s hot100 #1 while PJMs were attacking JK during Seven era, JK doing that whole Jimin live while JJKs were attacking JM during FACE era, now JK sharing several military stories that include JM right after that whole mess. I think it’s amazing that they’ve never let antis make them change the way they behave together or stop them from hanging out, making content, enlisting together, mentioning each other, or toning down their dynamic (teasing, roughhousing, or just being weird as hell lol).

I think that’s what makes tkkrs (and some other antis) so mad sometimes because they’re constantly trying to control/demand things with vmnkook - canceling orders and threatening to boycott, tried to get GCF Tokyo taken down, trending hashtags to cancel AYS, trending hashtags for all sorts of things tbh, emailing BH to stop the gay etc. They're constantly trying to demand things from the company, which is why it’s always been so ironic to me that they call Jikook the “company pushed ship” when they’re literally the ones trying to use money and other means to manipulate BH into giving them the ship content they want 😭 (as well as force them to “hide” jkk lol) so talk about projection. But yeah, none of that has ever stopped Jikook from doing their thing.

Also your ask makes me think back on JK’s JM live. I’ve always sort of thought that JK may have intentionally hyped SMFpt2 the way he did because of the ridiculous hate it was receiving. Especially because he really emphasized how much he loved the specific part antis were trying to drag. iirc he said that it was his taste or his style or something like that. I just really loved that moment, it was super vindicating lol. I remember even non-jkkr ARMYs commenting about it too, talking about it being a slap to the haters, or karma or whatever (I definitely also just think he really liked SMFpt2 tho!).

Anyways yeah, I’ve always just assumed that it’s probably a collective group decision to not address solos/shippers. Some people think it would be so simple but it really wouldn’t. If JK said something it would just be a domino effect of extreme responses (re: his NewJean’s comment). It would also drag the other members into it, expecting them to make similar statements or risk being attacked. I think that’s why it’s easier for him to address situations that only involve himself. Maybe they'll try to address it as a team one day, but imo it definitely won’t be happening while half of them are in the military with limited phone access, having to watch what they say and do more than ever.

I have to ask where all the crazed spike x julia fans come from 😭 like say one thing negative about the ship or ship spike with someone else and there's this one person (who I think owns multiple spikexjulia accounts snd pretends to be different people😭😭) that starts sending their "CAnoN aNd facTuAL eviDencE" with so much hostility

I've also noticed that Julia fans either always hate Faye and/or don't give a damn about Spike's well-being and just want him paired up with Julia even if that costed him his life, which I don't even think Julia herself wanted for him to do in the end lol. It's a little disturbing

This user has been terrorising Bebop fandom across multiple platforms since 2022, I think. If you ever see this bitch harassing someone just flag the account or ban it. A collective appeal could do the trick, but it's gonna be like chopping off Hydra's heads. This pain in the ass keeps posting weird commissions on X (Twitter), Deviantart, Reddit, Pixiv (for Christ's sake, please DO NOT search Bebop tag on Pixiv, it's a total disaster in there right now) and edited Bebop wiki, describing Faye as Spike's no 1 enemy and Julia as a goddess of doves and roses 🤢 It's hard to track down every account, the only way to stay safe is to not interact with them and blacklist. "If I ignore it, maybe it will go away" tactics is the best in this situation, don't let them take away your time and emotions, they cannot be reasoned with.

Another thing that bothers me is that stupid localisation of guide books with SpikeJulia nonsence the translators added just because they wanted to and ruined the original idea that implies multiple ways of story perception. I've aready dispelled that "truest lover ever" myth by presenting the original texts from my collection of Japanese books. They fucked up with "love" kanji meaning in Eng and this changed a lot (I did some analysis here and here). Now we can see what happens when these love stories fall into the wrong hands: haters cite it like a Bible in each and every thread about SpikeFaye😩 Also there was a post about some Julia's love letter to Spike (wtf?) written on the back cover of the vol. 6.

I wanted to make a post about it and took pictures of a Japanese edition but forgot. Now it's the right time to dispel another myth.

According to quick translation results, this guide was made to inform fans about some Bebop episodes which weren't aired on regular TV and appeared later on WOWOW (premuim satellite broadcasting) because of censorship.

There was no mention of Julia writing letters to Spike in the original series. It was Spike who gave her a note describing rendezvous point or whatever and she tore it to pieces🤷🏼‍♀️

i know it's the internet and that everyone is unstable and chronically online here, but still. I don't understand how, even in their later years (I'm talking 15-17+), people who label themselves as "antis" still worry about fictional ships that aren't harming anyone in real life more than their own life future. And don't make the excuse that it harms you by "grossing you out" when you can just... I don't know, ignore it and not look at it? Why is there even a label such as anti shipper?? 😭 I genuinely don't understand. It's a fictional character, they aren't gonna thank you for your weird pixel activism. You say proshippers are toxic while they're minding their own business in their own space while some if not most of you actively seek them out and send insults and even death threats...? You guys do know witch hunting is bad right? Heck, I've even seen y'all straight up doxxing people by leaking their faces? Isn't that.. You know, bad?? And can get the law involved?? Roo's Song Oil & Water by Origami Button "When did I become like the ones I never thought I'd welcome in my home"

The above line in particular is quite literally Roo in the current story/character arc- He's looking at himself from a third person view and going "Oh. I am what I hate." He's looking at his old self, in college, and how he treated Leo, to now, looking at his present self and seeing the way he creeps on Leo, how he clings to him despite being several states over. Roo looks at the progression of his stalker-ish behavior, his obsession, how it went from just general clinginess that Leo could bear, to something completely unbearable after 7 years of no contact, it saddens him. So taking it quite literally, if he was at his own door and he knew how awful he was, he would slam the door on himself. A painful self reflection for him :')

Leo's Song Truth or Dare by Ricky Montgomery "Hiding in the closet, trying not to vomit, didn't even want it"

The entire first verse for this song can be applicable to Leo. As a teenager (15-16), Leo went HEAVY on drugs as a form of escapism from his parents, of course they'd always find him and get on his ass HARD for doing that shit. After a while of being sober, Leo started going to house parties, great idea- Flash forward to his third house party, and he finally cut his year long sober streak for drugs. as many as he could fit in his body. He had terrible influences around him so they encouraged him to do this shit, it didn't take long for his body to feel the god awful effects of taking so many drugs, so he ended up in the bathroom for a while- He tried to hold back the vomit because he was,,, partially enjoying his high, but he couldn't hold it back for long and ended up passing out, but not before nearly gutting himself from vomiting so much. Cut forward in time, and people got worried, bashed open the bathroom door and found Leo's unconscious body slumped over the toilet 🙃 Obv he came out fine, but it's a major moment in his life, because looking back on it, he realizes that wasn't what he wanted, he just wanted attention, he wanted to be cool, he wanted to be rebellious, but he didn't want to (nearly) kill himself. The render isn't one-to-one with the situation, but the lyrics are accurate so :3

Onia's Song Bloodstream by Soccer Mommy Scene used in render "Now a river runs red from my knuckles into the sink and there's a pale girl staring through the mirror at me"

Overall, the song talks about how the artist (Soccer Mommy) has lost her childhood innocence and how she wants to go back to her childhood and putting Onia's Sheep in Wolf's clothing motif aside, Onia misses being a child, and misses not knowing the pain and burden of being the complete opposite of what her parents wanted, so she spirals over this a lot, and like the lyrics say, "a river runs red from my knuckles into the sink," She tends to lean towards harming herself, in this case, her hands, and her knuckles- I can't draw or simulate blood in either blender or GIMP, so the red light is supposed to simulate the blood-sodden sink that she's standing over, and of course, "pale girl," is Onia, she's staring at herself, but additionally I like to think she's staring past the mirror, or staring through it (wink wink), she's spacing out and thinking about who she should've been, or who she could've been.

Hero's Song Following Eyes by Soccer Mommy "An awful feeling started creeping over me and what I saw was like no horror I had seen"

I'm keeping this short and sweet. It's not easy to find a song (that I like) that's about being haunted or cursed so. I had to re-use her song from her intro post, which isn't bad, but I did hope to find a new song kdsjhnsjk Anyways. Hero's cursed, pretty much anywhere she goes, she is forced to perceive ~the horrors~, sometimes she's forced into a blank space, a void (SOMETIMES,,, not a lot,,, rarely moreso), where she'll be tormented for who even knows how long, this moment in particular, she was walking along this catwalk in the dark, she eventually felt something that felt similar to someone dragging their fingers up your spine, in a moment of fear, she turned around and just. saw. She looked onto this,,, being, what she saw was "like no horror I had seen,,," Although to be fair, the creature isn't all that horrifying (which in my defense.. I'm a blender novice so </333)

The Hiraeth Song Nomu by Good Kid "Four eyes entwined draw four separate lines and none of them point to you"

I think this song overall is a perfect example of Roo and Leo's relationship both after Leo's confession and after Roo tried to reconnect with Leo. After Leo confessed, he tried to keep their relationship going, but it didn't work out, so he gave up (Roo didn't realize Leo was pulling such a weight and he just let their friendship fall out) After Roo tried to reconnect (aka the CURRENT storyline), Roo has been trying to keep things together and has been trying to make things work, but Leo has long-since given up on their friendship as a whole. Now in terms of the lyric above; Post-Confession, every conversation they had together would not be the same, they couldn't look each other in the eyes, their eyes would connect momentarily and separate almost immediately; Nowadays, if they WERE to be living together or near each other, they just would NOT be able to talk to each other, because Leo would be fed up with Roo and trying to avoid as much eye contact and general verbal+physical contact as possible with him. Roo, on the other hand, is just terrible with eye contact so he would have a terrible time trying to engage in eye contact with Leo.

The Ithanel / It's All Wrong Song From Eden by Hozier "Babe there's something broken about this but I might be hoping about this oh what a sin"

Ithuriel and Nanel's entire relationship is inherently toxic, they are not toxic to each other, but the underlying (or moreso, the OVERWHELMING OVERLYING) dangers of this relationship makes it toxic, broken in a way. Nanel risks her life going to see Ithuriel outside of work-related interactions and Ithuriel risks her life by just. seeing, talking to and loving Nanel. Whether they know (they do) or care (they dont) about these dangers, they still want this relationship, they live on, literal, prayers that they are not caught and that they can continue to love each other in peace, but overall, their relationship, in the eyes of the heavenly council (ehhh W.I.P term for IAW lore stuff), is a sin, and nothing but a sin.

Ithuriel's Song What You Mean by Rome Hero Foxes "Cause every little god damn thing you do makes me wanna get close to you"

The lyrics speak for themselves... Ithuriel is very dedicated to Nanel, and literally every waking moment of seeing and knowing Nanel drives Ithuriel up the walls because she loves her so much.

Nanel's Song Future Me Hates Me by The Beths "It's getting dangerous, I could get hurt, I know, I've counted up the cons, they far outweight the pros."

This is semi-foreshadowing, but Nanel knows that her and Ithuriel's relationship is forbidden, wrong (not cuz its gay necessarily,, 😭), and the way Ithuriel's heavenly role works means that their relationship status and every interaction outside of a required interaction is a risky game of one or both of them being punished and sentenced to death. But ! Nanel loves Ithuriel wayyyy too much to let how insanely dangerous their relationship is to get in the way of them loving and being with e/o.

I was actually just talking about this with one of my mutuals!!

A big part of it is definitely Covid and the popularization of fandom and fanfiction. People engaged with fics before comics during lockdown because they couldn’t go out and buy them and they didn’t know where to read them online. Because I’ve noticed for at least tags on ao3 if scroll to the bottom they spawned in and around 2020, and for others if you’re reading fics written before then the characterization is much better.

DC itself plays a big role too. It’s the sanitation of his character. The insane stuff he used to do and say post crisis doesn’t get acknowledged anymore. Like none of these people know that boy is a serial cheater. Then you have them trying to push the batfamily as a close family unit and that causes all of them to suffer. (Jason babygirl please leave Gotham)

And as much as I hate to say it… because they canonized him being bi. I don’t think that they shouldn’t have done it because he absolutely has been for years (staring at you trying to clone your dead “best friend” there’s no straight explanation for that) but I think they shot themselves in the foot because now they’re afraid to have him do shitty things. They don’t wanna be called homophobic. And this is definitely why his pattern of cheating has been erased. This was the part my moot and I were talking about.

Also there’s the fact that like at least half the modern writers have said he’s their favorite 🫤 they’re going to make him look the best.

Bro I am so mad that Harry & Draco don't canonically end up friends. After all that? After Draco throws him his wand and yells his name at the final battle?? AFTER ALL THAT? No way. No frickin way dude. While I do love dr/arry (don't wanna tag on accident) I don't even mean this in regards to the ship... literally you cannot convince me that they don't talk and become some kind of friends. WHO ELSE COULD UNDERSTAND BEING A PUPPET IN A WAR YOU HAVE NO DESIRE TO BE IN... 😭 (that and they were teenagers ofc they grew into "different" people than who they were made to be tbh who is the same at 24 as they are at 16? or any other age.) It's so true. (Though the wand throwing scene is only in the movie but still). Regardless of whether you ship drarry or not, Harry and Draco are so central to each other's arcs. I mean, Draco risks everything and throws away his last chance to get his family back into Voldemort's good graces to save Harry. Harry risks his life to save Draco. Harry defeats Voldemort with Draco's wand. They've been a key part of each other's lives since book 1. Draco even realizes he was wrong and changes his attitudes.

And there's just...no payoff. No final interaction. No conversation. It feels like something's missing. And it's so natural to bring it in since Harry needs to return Draco's wand. They could've had a moment. They could've finally shaken hands. Maybe in a callback and reversal this time it's Harry who offers his hand first. (Maybe Draco looks a little bit doubtful and indicates his left arm and makes a little quip about Harry needing to be careful not to make friends with the wrong sort. But Harry just says he can still tell who the wrong sort are and leaves his hand out till Draco takes it.) It could've been so good.

But for some reason even though JKR wrote Draco growing and changing his mind she views him as fundamentally different from Snape or Dumbledore or Regulus, whose redemption arcs she acknowledges. And that leaves a huge piece of the story feeling a bit unfinished. Because what she actually wrote doesn't seem to match what she wants us to feel about it.

I think the simple answer is to just say that yes, I am. A more long-winded response is that, like most people, I have my own lines and boundaries. But what I'm not going to do is sit around and be upset about what people decide to do in a fictional fandom with characters that aren't real, and I have never made that a secret. Proshipping, in its base form, is defined as "Ship and let Ship," and that's the kind of "not my circus" attitude I can get behind.

I'm not going to harass people who make content I personally don't agree with or enjoy. Not everything is written to cater to me. Not every scrap of fandom content is something that I'm going to love, and it shouldn't be that way. What I like isn't what other people might like, and vice versa.

I'm not going to go into any morality rabbit holes about fictional characters. I'm not the fandom police. I'm not going to promote censorship or encourage callouts based on fictional content. I have one hard-line DNI, and that is that Minors Do Not Interact, because most of my content is NSFW. I think it would be incredibly shitty of me to try and say what is right and wrong in this fandom, when I myself make content that people think should not exist.

I think the moment people start trying to define what should or should not be "allowed" in a fandom, is the moment the floodgates open to question everything that is produced in said fandom. If this thing isn't okay, then neither is this thing, or this thing, ad nauseam until we're only here to make screen-shot redraws and canon-compliant content. That isn't what fandom exists for. We are all here, for the most part, to be creatives, and I am not in the business of stifling creativity.

I think people should take control of their own fandom experience. I think people should utilize tags and blocking. I think people should get into a fandom, find the parts of it they like, and ignore what they don't vibe with. I think we'd all be a lot happier if we did that, and we'd avoid a lot of drama, too.

I'm here to write smut, my dudes. I'm here to put my versions of characters into situations. I'm here to share an experience and enjoy a fandom that I have been a part of since I was a child. The things people don't like about this fandom? Those are the things that built it. I've been here long enough to know that the people who looked at those comics and went 'I wanna fuck that turtle,' or 'I know who I want to fuck that turtle,' are the same people that made this house brick by brick. Whenever I see a call out about that sort of thing, I always laugh. You have no idea what made this fandom. You have no idea how we got started. Katakuri x Reader

"Who knew the Charlottles had pretty women on their crew," One of your buyers laughed.

"Maybe you were just paying attention to their men," you smirked, looking at the person despite the blindfold covering your eyes.

"Why you-"

"Enough Tamaki." Sounds like their boss took control of the room, hard to ignore since he had a booming voice. "You need to get back to cleaning the deck."

"Awww, but I thought we bought her for a little fun."

"We are to deliver her to Doflamingo, if his plan succeeds, the government will reward him handsomely, in turn, we'll be rewarded by him for contributing."

"Doflamingo?" You knew of the Heavenly Demon Warlord, his unmerciful wrath toward anyone outside Dressrosa. He'd be a threat if he didn't keep to himself in his lavish country. "That birdbrain, he's all squawk and no dive," you said in a bored tone.

"Why is she still talking?"

"She kept eating the tape boss."

You heard the boss sigh before footsteps were followed out of the room. Silence is the only thing that stays with you in the room, allowing your mind to settle in the horror of what their boss said.

They were taking you to Doflamingo for a plan. A plan where if he succeeds the government is going to reward him, but he's already a Warlord with his own island, what would he do to get more out of... Is he... Is he planning to take out the entire Big Mom Pirates?

You wiggle your way around, trying lift the blindfold from your eyes when something impacted the ship and sent you crashing against the bars. The bars felt warm and gooey, strange, and now your head felt light before it hits against the hard floor.

"[Y/n]!" Katakuri called for you after entering the cell hall. 

He rushed past the cells, briefly scanning each one for you, and he almost skipped over the one you were in. Haulting in his tracks, he looked into the cell and saw you laying sideways on the ground, your back to him. Relief washed over him and he grabbed onto the bars to move it out of his way when he noticed the bars were a little sticky.

He glanced at the bars, seeing blood on one. His eyes trailed over to you, a small patch of damp hair on the back of head. Fear threw Katakuri's relief out the window, he yanked the cell wall out of its place and tossed it to the side. Kneeling down, he slid you into his arms bridal style and rushed back to the crew he came with.

"Please, stay with me, [Y/n]."
