i scribbled out the library sticker online i promise i didn’t mutilate this beautiful cover. 

if there is no tomorrow is about a girl who is in a car accident and has to balance survivors guilt while battling emotions for her childhood crush. i thought that this book had a very interesting plot and enough twists and turns to keep me excited but not lost. in all honestly i think this is my least favorite book of jennifer’s that i have read so far. this is by no means a bad book and i think that it was well worth the read. i feel that her characters relationship was not as developed as it could be. i understood the main character’s attraction to her friend but i did not feel it was well as i could have. in a lot of jennifer’s other books i almost get second hand embarrassment reading and blush at every flirtations remark as if it was directed at me. i fall just as hard as the character does for their love interest but this was just not the same in this book. i think that because it is a stand alone that the characters were not as developed as i normally see. 

i really loved the life lessons that the author wrote about in this book. she also was able to write about survivors guilt very well and i am not sure if that is because of empathy, research or first had experience but at no point did i question the validity of the character’s feelings. i think that this is a book that everyone should read even if it is just to understand how another person might be affected by your actions.

Bom dia! 🌻 Ontem terminei de ler #IfTheresNoTomorrow da @jennifer_l_armentrout e ela fez de novo, escreveu um livro pelo qual me apaixonei completamente! A cada livro que passa, ela fica ainda melhor e equilibra perfeitamente drama e cenas fofas. E este livro em particular é tocante, "incomoda" demais. O que acontece é tão parte da realidade que eu me vi pensando que já tomei as mesmas atitudes da Lena e que eu poderia estar no lugar dela. É assustador. Vai ter resenha no TRS? Com certeza! 💕
