when I thought I'd be able to travel and use my long service leave this year to see some new shit #selfishcvnt

have decided instead to use a month of my leave to go help look after my dad, the last few video calls have been a reality check for us - he has done a bit of damage to the top of his spine and smashed his cheek bone when he landed

I really need to check in on my sisters a bit more - they look tired my poor darlings

as for the old fulla, well it's gonna take a whole new lesson in patience for me 😓 - I thought I was doing so fucking good but uhhhh yeah nah

the things I was ready to execute the first half of this year have to take a backseat, I need to show up for them - it's weird how calm I am tbh

will also have to spend the next few months pouring into myself on double time, to be solid for them - I may come across as in control on the outside rn but emotionally I want to be somewhere else
