No food. there was nothing left. the shelves were empty, with the rest having gone bad. there was nothing to eat. there was water- but that couldn't-- wouldn't --help. with nothing to eat, people got desperate. so, so desperate. so, what was the next best thing? what food source did they have left? oh. food objects. milk cartons, box lunches, bread, etc etc. they were right there! yeah sure- it was bad. it was literally murder! but what other choice do they have?

..besides, its not like they had anything else to eat. or drink. hopefully the food objects could understand.

“ugh! i quit!” The dusty object said, kicking their feet in the air as they lay on the wooden crate inside an ‘abandoned’ warehouse.

“we don't exactly have a choice to quit here, Fols.” The other object said as they scoured through another crate, searching.

“damn it.” ‘Fols’ got up from the crate, kicking a can instead. “you literally saw someone get eaten alive two days ago fym ‘damn it’” The other object stopped searching, peeking their head out of the crate to squit their eyes at Fols.

“did you just say ‘Ef why em’?? the individual letters??? you could've said ‘fuck you mean’, Spomi.” Fols squinted their eyes back at the other object, managing to get a glimpse of the mess the other one made. cans and bottles littered the floor- it was honestly surprising that they've been pretty quiet the whole time with all the opened metal cans.

‘Spomi’ rolled their eyes, whilst getting out of the crate, opening another one. they still had.. 5 more to go. okay, thats fine. as long as the hungry ones didn't find them, it'll be fine.

tl;dr theres no food, causing a little bit of cannibalism to happen with food and non-food objects! the goal/prize is survival. ‘the hungry ones’ are non-food objects. most food objects are ‘spoiled’ and/or ‘expired’. though the hungry ones dont really give a fck tbh they're hungry

my muse dies in your muse’s arms.

          “ lotor! ”

          it seems pointless.  screaming into the astral as if someone might hear him , but it’s all he has , confined to this plane , watching his friends battle each other.  they fight as if death is the only viable outcome , but it should never have come to this.  some part of him believes he is to blame.  if only he had been there , been himself to divert the impending battle , to cease the fighting and work this out.  lotor had wanted to change the future for the galra , and he knew that hadn’t been altered.  perhaps there was no forgetting the choices he made , but would they condemn him when he wanted to be better?  would they be so unforgiving as to sentence him to a mindless death , consumed by energy so powerful it could ruin him?

          “ lotor! ”

          he wished desperately that it wouldn’t be so.  but where keith had once heard him , he now stood alone amidst a field of blinding light , surrounded by energy that continued to press down on him , crushing black until he was sure they’d collapse into themselves.  they were quickly running out of time , and his fears were slowly growing.  he could hear the others shouting , understood that they would die here if they stayed any longer , and it became painfully apparent they intended to leave lotor behind. 

          he doesn’t know if it’s black , the quintessence , his charged feelings , or a combination of everything , but the dynamic shifts and he can see lotor sitting in the cockpit of the sincline.  his heart aches at the sight of him , lost and consumed by the energy pulsing through every fiber of this dimension.  it warps and twists him until he becomes something almost unrecognizable.

          “  lotor , listen to me —  ”    but his voice goes unheard as he watches lotor fight voltron with single-minded focus.  shiro knows that he can’t be heard , but it doesn’t stop him from reaching out , from pressing a palm to lotor’s cheek , holding him gently despite the deranged , feral look that painted his features.  he didn’t know if lotor could hear him through the quintessence pouring out of his veins , blinding him to everything , or if somewhere deep inside he was desperately trying to reach back , but he didn’t pull away and shiro forged on.

          “  i’ll find you , lotor.  i won’t leave you to die alone.  i won’t.  ”    he cradles his face between his hands , metal thumb caressing his cheek , and vows to himself that he would find a way to make this right.  he stares into lotor’s unflinching gaze , pained by the lack of recognition and feels the pull of black , dragging him away.    “  i promise.  ”

My Fanfic writers appreciation 2022

By now I think most of you following me and reading this know I write fanfictions, but although I am a fanfic writer, I am a really bad fanfic reader... Especially because I'm a veeeeery s l o w r e a d e r . . . :')

But since it's this special day, Fanfiction writers appreciation day, I decided to try to better my life in the upcoming time and start reading more fanfictions. It's stupid I haven't done that sooner, because there's a reason why I came back to fandom and writing: Wonderful fanfics written by amazing writers!

Not Quite Perfect by Most Everyone's Madd Here This fic dates from 2012 and is an older Taiora focused fic (with Mimato in the back). Back in the day, this was one of THE Taiora fics and it has always been one of my faves ever since. The author I don't know... But I want to thank them for giving me a fic to go back to (: -Rated M for sexual stuff...!

Paradigm Shift by Squit Ayumin (@squitayumin) This Taito friendship/Taiora romance/Yamato x Mimi or OC fic and author doesn't need explanations tbh... If you know, you know! This is the writer I get my inspiration from, she is that good with words. That's all. Go read it.

Colors in Autumn by NoctIsFishing (@noctisfishing) Julia stole my heart with her way of writing, her characterizations and this overall incredible fanfic. There are bits that I can read over and over again. I absolutely adore it, just as much as I adore you Juuls! I hope you're doing well, I truly miss interacting with you <3 (also rated M for sexual stuff... it's a pattern)

No Strings Attached by ayushi (@themistymermaid) I have no idea if you know this, but this little fanfic of yours (that's sadly on hold, but I understand and support you!) reaaaaally got me super excited for writing again! The way your sentences flow and how you work towards conclusions is something I admire in your writing a lot, you really have me hooked and that's truly amazing!

Wattup, ladies and gentlemen! I'd like to present you one of the first fanfics I've wrote way back in 2018, I was like 16/17 years old. I found it funny at first but now I'm just cringing by looking at this 2 years ago, I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS SINCE 2 FUCKIN' YEARS AND I FORGOT THAT I DID THIS! 😭🤣

okay so like.. as much i love playing as an inkling/octoling in the game, i'm just smitten with the idea of self-inserting as an actual human, 'cause could you IMAGINE the potential drama between the inklings and octarians furiously scrambling to appeal to the human to be on their side? octavio especially would want the human on his side just to rub it in cuttlefish's face, so he'd go to great lengths to impress the human.. (1/??)

..which leads to him doing stuff that seems weird to others like fussing over the human's health issues ("those human scientists didn't take care of you?? WHAT THE SQUIT???") and getting REAL MAD when someone dares to poke fun at her texture/sensory issues. she's been asleep for 12,000 years, give the woman a break!!! 

and being a literal leader of his own people, he'd abuse so many of his resources just to put a smile on this human's face, totally because it's beneficial to have the human support them, not at all because she's super cute when she's happy, what are you talking about?? but YEAH i super love the idea of him being really charmed by me and just becoming a sappy mess that wouldn't hesitate to splat someone if they made me cry.. sorry for the long ramble!!!

DON’T APOLOGISE ANON!! I really love this idea!! I haven’t played too much Splatoon so I know only a lil bit about the world in game but I really do love it when people not only have self inserts but build a whole backstory around it which slots in perfectly..,. and tbh any scenario where villain characters dote on their subject of interest is a BIG fave trope for me aaa I can just imagine him bein’ so conflicted....... mb trying to deny that there’s any personal attachment and purely for the sake of establishing allies... due to an ego thing BUT ALSO... what if his enemies found out?? they’d hurt the precious human to get to him!! but! man it’s hard to resist sometimes, she’s just so wonderful...
