being a part of self ship and seeing ppl older than me self ship is really cathartic. i often feel embarrassed by still being into fictional characters in my 20s because all of my friends i knew since i was younger have moved on and can't relate to me anymore and i feel like they look down on me for still being into fictional characters so intensely. but then i see people selfshipping in their late 20s and 30s and beyond and i remember that there's nothing wrong with this and self shipping is a beautiful healing thing, and that even if my friends don't understand me, there are people who do. i just love you older selfshippers <3

I love the self shipping community but I feel so odd with mine sometimes because

I self ship myself with my own OC lol

And then I use that same OC that I ship myself with as a self insert for other self ships

My OC is my husband and my Sona at the same time lol IDK how but it just happened

Oh, I know a lot of ppl who self ship with their OCs! I think most of them buy the designs from designers on toyhouse though to be fair but that's a lot of power to just create smth from your own mind to ship yourself with!

To be honest, there's no right or wrong way to do self shipping in my eyes. As long as you're having fun!
