i don't have enough energy to make a detailed case on this but

has any of Miquella's defenders found out about the proof in the base game that indicates Radahn was leading him on yet...

we found this at the Haligtree.

we know Radahn looks up to Godfrey and Radagon a lot and want to be like them, it makes sense he’d jump at a chance to be a Lord for a New God. i think he’s not above leading on a young Miquella instead of putting an end to a childish crush, even went so far as establishing a vow with him. But Radahn got cold feet later when Miquella was hell bent on going through with it as adult (stuck in a child body or not) & now he had to pay for his ambition.

i think that’s why they emphasize that Miquella made that wish in his youth. A traumatized & insecure child, losing faith in his parents’ Order & having to look his sister withered away, i think he would be very impressionable, especially around someone that strategically showcase his strength and honour like Radahn.

I think all this could have been avoided if Radahn, as the older brother, had just been firm & told him no.

curious question for all my payneland lovers: how do you want Charles' love awakening to go about?

in a way, there isn't anything (ex. homophobia, a current partner, etc) stopping him from falling for Edwin (that we know of) so what would it take for Charles to suddenly realize he has feelings for Edwin that makes more sense than Edwin's confession being the trigger?

Enemies to Lovers will always be a top tier relationship dynamic but I just *really* like Johnny and Kenshi’s relationship going from enemies who literally fucking hate each other to then being so soft,,, idk I feel like enemies to lovers usually ends in them keeping their beef but now we know it’s all lighthearted and out of love but they just kinda ,,,,,, are in love now …. And not canonically ofc, but it’s interesting right? How often does it end in them talking each other up to literal royalty and don’t even get me restarted on the whole “wouldn’t miss it for the world” with a smile on his face! And it’s just that much more disappointing that I know all of this is leading nowhere because I mean just look at our ONE canon queer couple- barely any screen time and not once are they even allowed to *be* a couple. To be queer is to yearn.
