Swap AU:

Val wasn't too slow, he didn't come at all to Vox's distress call. He thought Vox could handle it. He spends the first 4 years as Alastor's thrall dead, as do most of the soul that Val owns. (Angel included.) Killing Valentino and the souls he owns gets old, however and sinners are getting tired of the same old pornos, so Valentino gets to go back to work, but thanks to their multiple horrible deaths, Valentino and his contracted souls are alot closer. They even have a discord server dedicated to bitching about Alastor. Now that Vox is back, they've added a sever dedicated to getting pictures of Vox for Valentino so they all don't die horrible deaths--and also, Valentino rewards everyone with every new picture with a raise of 50 dollars, so it's nice incentive.

Alastor on the other hand beside killing Valentino and his contracted souls for the first 4 years, made a shrine with Vox's heads--except for the very first one. That one he slept with. That one remain's in his (formerly Vox's) bed everyday, waiting for Alastor's return everynight so he can curl around it and murmur the words he never got to say to his beloved Vox one last time.

When Vox returns, Sir Pentious joins the hotel because Vox has always been his favorite of his favorite of the Vees, and if he's joined another Overlord and started something else, the Sir Pentious will try it out!

Angel Dust is there because he doesn't want to go through the absolute HELL the first 4 years under Alastor was, he wants no repeats. No one Valentino included DOES!

just going over this whole past year, you know how it is

self harm and family death below so that gives you an idea of how its gone i guess

so january started on a nice high, i felt better than i had in a long time and then one week into january it took a complete nosedive to the lowest id felt in years. like i went from starting to talk and managing to push myself to do some stuff i wanted to/would be good for me to wanting to self harm for the first time in seven years. i was sat at work completely dissociated and got jolted out of it by an extremely vivid image of blood pouring out of my arm.

it was a double edged sword because it pushed me to finally reduce my hours at work which i really needed but like it meant i was doing real bad which really fucking sucked with how id been doing the past month. it was agreed with my boss that id start my reduced hours in april so we wouldnt have to mess around with annual leave calculation bullshit and just knowing it was coming helped but i was definitely pretty out of it for those months.

march rolls around, i have a week and a half booked off. im gonna decide on some things i want to do with my extra time after i recover mentally and then my grandmother is in hospital with some dark spot on her bladder and the care home she was in cant look after her anymore and she may have contracted covid in the hospital but its fine she didnt then michael tells me theres gonna be a band 4 coming up in pathology IT but i cant process that right now but its there in the back of my mind constantly then she gets bounced around a few care homes then shes back in hospital then it settles and shes in a care home 5 minutes away from our house but i still havent seen her in like a year and a half at this point and im wracked with guilt because what do i remember about her really? not much it feels like, i worry if shed even recognise me, what would i even say to her? but it doesnt matter because visitors are still limited and id rather my mum and aunties see her cause theyd get more out of it

then its april and my mum just snaps under her own job, i have this extra time at home but i gotta walk on eggshells cause march happened and now this and i have no idea how shes doing mentally because this family is so emotionally repressed so i just hide in my room, basically feeling kinda catatonic and just straight up lying at work like 'yeah its great!'

then may comes around and i do actually start to recover. the band 4 jobs still in the background of my mind but nothing mores been said about it but i cant not think about it. the time goes by so much faster than you think it would but i start drawing again. small canvas size just sketches nothing fancy at all just a minimum something once a week no pressure its okay

june is much the same, the plan had been recover mentally then start applying for jobs elsewhere but then the band 4 was there looming so the plan became wait and see what comes of that, i dont manage to get back to where i was at this time last year but i do my best to not hold it against myself, im getting better thats what matters

july. the band 4 goes up its all thats in my brain. i want to recind my application so i can stop worrying about it. i get the job its full time and day time hours as opposed to the 12-8 ive been doing for years but its too good an opportunity for me to pass up. its means i can get on paper IT experience

august comes around and im due to start my new job on the 8th. its the 7th i go downstairs see my mum and ask her how its going. my grandmother is dead. i start my new job and i say nothing about that, its a struggle though i dont show it im shown a few things but theyre done quickly and easy to stay on top of, i only know one person in this room, my desk is the first one you see when you come into the room so im on edge every time the door opens, i dont want to be doing this right now but sitting at home wont do me any good either so i bear it silently, the funeral is the 26th, i only mention this to my new boss because i need the day off, theres a moment of pity that i cant really deal with. i hate being pitied i know people mean well by it but it makes me bristle. its the 26th my mum starts crying as we get to the crematorium shes gripping my hand tightly and i wont let her go either, i sit there and feel the guilt about not remembering but then my great uncle starts to read her eulogy and its like 'oh. there you are. i do remember you. i remember so much of you' and then im crying too

september and october i mostly just continue to adjust to how things are, this new normal, the new job is good, my new boss is kind, i want to cry

november, the birthday month, the start of self reflection. what do i want out of life, how can i get it, who do i want to be. i never really know, i remind myself that this year has been a struggle and i do my best to be kind to myself, its birthday week and ive kept up the weekly sketching for 6 months now, i only missed one week and i dont feel bad about it. a band 5 has gone up in pathology IT, explicitly for me

its december and its come around so fucking fast, its over already. i get the band 5 we have a nice christmas. i survive. this year had such extreme highs and lows and i honestly have no idea how to like rank this year

i have come to the unfortunate conclusion that working in pathology IT will be temporary, my boss is set to retire july this year, working full time takes too much out of me so i dont have the energy to do things that i want, i miss my hours of 12-8. the plan was always stick it out for a year and see where im at but the hope was that id stay. maybe im not done adjusting but thats for the eden of june to decide.

but..........i think he can turn it all around.........if he gets into tag team wrestling. or, more specifically, gets suckered into being teamed up with the one guy he really cannot fucking stand b/c hes got a fuckin contract to fulfill and he cant really be choose-y as the New Guy. i just think it would make sense! as a gimmick!! producers leaning hard into gordons perceived bitch status and pairing him up with his polar opposite in the ring!!! like being suckered into being the straight man of a comedy duo except a lot more personally embarrassing!!!!

what if he didnt even have to wear that obscene baby slut outfit until they got teamed up with each other and they wanted him to match benreys. b/c they literally fucking match in this godawful WWE game. and the one he picked out for himself was equally humiliating but in a wildly different fashion

and then on the eve of the best performance theyve ever had, gordons feeling incredible. a little fucking bounce to his step. and benreys trying really fucking hard to sound nonchalant when he tells gordon he did good out there, but its not easy for him, either......hes got to spend all this time with a guy thats thicker than molasses and a whole head taller than him and whos frequently wrapping his thighs around benreys head for the sake of the sport. who he swears is down to fuck but wont ever make a move in return

what i interpret from the happenings between the miya twins is that atsumu, in addition to being the 'angel' in the story, in a sense (as ive read from other anons' analysis), he didnt want to choose between y/n or his brother, he just wanted his brother back. he wanted what they had before the woman drove the wedge between them. and he was willing to forgive and wait for him to not just try to be better, but to work at being better.

osamu, on the other hand, let meiko corrupt atsumu's good image in osamu's mind and in whatever daze he was in, blindly following meiko for whatever validation he achieved from her, osamu let go and forgot about the trust and bond he shared with atsumu, his brother. as a result, he lost his brother in the temporary bliss he found with meiko. osamu really needed to hear atsumu's reminder that he loved him, (aaaaand that he loved his best friend too, and no way in hell was he gonna choose between them,) and that little reassurance that he can still run back to his brother after that whole fiasco. lord knows the last time the brothers had a heart to heart.

am sorry if this is repetitive to what others have already said ajdbjsnsj or if it doesnt make sense, my brain is slowly shutting down-

on other notes, LORD SAVE YAICHI GIVE HER PATIENCE AHAHAHAHAH. atsumu is such 🥰 a 🥰 simp 🥰 (highkey, same though-), and hopefully suna and osamu can eventually discuss their feelings, their friendship might never be the same again, and the wounds will take time to heal, but hopefully they can work it through.

Also, my focus in this isn’t berena staying together. I care more about the characters having healthy interactions in universe while balancing the logistics of actor schedules and the narratives the writers room have chosen to write. 

berena is endgame. that much is fkn obvious. unless something happens that takes Redgrave reappearing in the future off the table, Bernie and Serena are going to ride off into the sunset together when Russell finally leaves to work on a different project. 

but endgame doesnt mean they have to stay together. 

frankly, given what they agreed to during Redgrave’s last appearance, I expected them to be on a break this entire time, and free to see other ppl should they so wish. that’s not what the writers went w (tho i dont know why, bc it would have made things so much simpler, and forced themt to give Russell something non berena related to stay on the show which would have been better for the story anyway), but for me, ‘wait for me’ didnt mean ‘we’re going to do this long distance’; it meant ‘we’ll part now bc it’s not healthy for us, and we’ll be together again when it is.’

And i think that’s what this portion of their story is going to be: them realising that they need either accommodate each other’s needs in a different way, or part ways for now. 

besides, this way we get to see be in love and actually get their shit together when they do get Regrave’s contract back in the game, and their relationship gets the time and space it warrants. and it’ll be all the sweeter for it

As far as you being more sad with Baro leaving, do you think it maybe has to do with how things ended with him? For me that’s something I almost feel.. not guilty but like… just really disheartened over. Like the whole thing about his personality controversies, his ‘gf’ and her attitude– it was just such a bad situation and for it to happen of all times around their 7th anniversary (aka when their contracts were initially up) didn’t help anything. Whereas Jinyoung obviously has just had a steady growth since debut until he left, with no controversies. If anything, the public has grown to love him more and more. So in that sense, I can also agree that I feel more sad with Baro’s departure than Jinyoung’s. It was like a defeated departure versus a victorious one.

I’d love to see A3 push themselves out of their comfort zone and do their own thing sans Jinyoung too! It’d be so interesting and awesome to see and hear what they have to bring to the table. I know they can do it, we all do, but it’s just gonna be a waiting game to see if they come to that realization. Ok so im at work and a client messages me; bear in mind i work in insurance as a salesperson and i did attend him for several of his contracts.

He messages me like "wow you guys are the worst cause im having issues with this claim i made; im still waiting for the appraiser to check the damage so i can fix it"

No info at all... Not the plate number or his ID number or anything, just a complaint

So i checked it out - btw i wasnt the one he called to manage this claim so im playing catch-up... But of course im the one he complains to when shit goes wrong

I get half the answer (still waiting for info for the second part of the problem) and he keeps going on and on about the bad service and how he doesnt care about the reasons for the delay and constantly the problem he brings up is that "Ive been without my car for 9 days and now you want me to wait another 6"

So. My grandparents decided last year they wanna move. Or really nana did. And she has good reasons.

Now in may we listed. And sold. The buyer backed out. And they relisted and sold again in less the. 2 weeks.

There are issues with our house. Under the house in the crawl space. Mold and other stupid stuff like the duct work which was replaced in 2017. (Lets so not go there). But the biggest issue, the spectic tank. It needs new lines. Or we need to hook up to the sewer. Bank wont give a loan for the house with out it being addressed.

The current buyer's buyers backed out so they asked for an extention or to be let out of the contract. And too have the house hooked up in the extenstion time. Well they granted the extenstion. And started the process of getting the house hooked up to the sewer, and have been working on finding a house or trying to buy his fathers house from his nephew. Well things never go easy in these types of things. County called this past week and said it would be 4500$ more then that kinda shot down the whole connecting thing. But to fix the lines you need a permit. <duh> so now its a cluster fuck of trying to get it fixed. Joy.

Then they put in an offer way over on a house sight unseen and Because it a prefab modular home the loan they had been preapproved for doesnt cover it. So they either have to get a different loan or change terms. Which is a nightmare of paper work.

All of this to say that we havent taken a load back home yet to be put in storage becasue we have so much stuff and so little help we can move all at once. Im tempted to move some of my own stuff and get a storage unit of my own just to get some of this going but i also im stuck in the wait and see pattern that they are pulling.

Supposed to have company this week sometime so we won't be going this weekend and next weekend im not available. We will see what happens but this whole back and forth and stuck in limbo is about to drive me crazy.

Im gonna try to get some stuff done this week, packing the buildings and such but its really hot here right now and im not sleeping on a regular or normal schedule at all. So we will try and see what we can do. Im also past four months without a job so i need to start getting back in shape. Or when i do start working again (and moving for real) i can do so without killing myself. That may mean taking a walk before working on packing etc.
