I wouldn't say he has a bad temper. He's very well-practiced at self-control. However, there are certain things that set him off so severely, he throws self-control out the window. Those things aren't worthy of him trying to be "the bigger person." They deserve their ass handed to them right here right now (see: The Codes pre-current lore).

In a similar vein, when the situation isn't one of those special Fuck This incidences, he still doesn't have a temper, but when he finally snaps, he SNAPS. Was thinking how we get confirmation of some of the things years later. Like in today's ep jm said him, jk (confirmed) and either one of jin and yg (jm was a bit confused who but it could also be that yoonjin both left later like jikook) were the last ones to leave their dorm and remember how we used to think jikook "might" live together cause they used to share car alot during 2019-2021. Now idk exactly when they left their dorms but i do know the news of RM and jm buying house in nine one hit the media around june 1st 2021. Also that one BTS video where the boys were interviewing e/o and jk asked jm what was the most enjoyable thing these days and jm replied "The most enjoyable thing these days is waking up and seeing jungkook" idr but wasn't it around 2019-2020 when he said that? And jikook and yoonjin used to share car, jikook the most of times so i think yup jikook used to live in the shared apartment be it dorm or whatever that is. So we were basically right.

Intersting thing is even after RM and jm buying house we still saw jikook sharing cars now idk why that. Yes when minimoni brought their houses they shared car but it was like only few times but jikook still has shared cars few times here nd there so i wonder why is that maybe they love sharing cars or their houses are near or etc etc.

Maybe as the besties they're when it comes to car sharing they just simply put these two together knowing they have shared it before too. Remember how they shared car 4 days of concerts in LV? There's another thing who's confirmation we got way later but i don't remember that now but yeah.

Also the way tkkrs be like "but jungkook don't cook for jm he doesn't even have jm's number" both got denied in this ep....i know it's only them who believed their shit theories but they're sooo many in number and they spread it everywhere so it's like thousands of them i think like 99% of them belive that shit. I found it interesting that jimin knew for sure that jk was still with him at the dorms but couldn't confirm whether yoonjin were there too. Seems like a detail you'd recall I feel, unless you were spending a majority of your time with one person. And if we are to go by your timeline it does seem that even after moving out jikook seemed to have made a deliberate choice to take the same car on multiple occasions. I do think there was a period in mid 2021 and early 2023 where jkk were maybe not seeing each that frequently based on some of their conversations, but this docu has really made me re evaluate a lot of these assumptions.

Since 2020, we have gotten almost 1/3 the amount of behind the scenes ot7 content and that definitely had an impact on many peoples assumptions on the members relationships. It's why certain "groups" felt more confident in proclaiming that jikook were never close or only fanservice.

Tkkrs and their cult leaders will never stop in their attempts at undermining jikooks relationship with false narratives. It's something I didn't understand the need of when I first entered shipping spaces because if you believe tkk are real and in a healthy relationship, then why would assuming jikook are close friends, in any way would come in the way of that? Why did jimin need to be the villain in their theories so bad? It's only now that I kinda get that as a tkkr, they can't possibility perceive that tkk are in a 'genuine and healthy' relationship if they have to take jikook at face value. Cause the way those two interact and prioritise one another, does really throw tkkrs off gaurd. Which is why so much of their belief and foundation hinges on all of jkks interactions being fake and forced and jk secretly hating jm. Because the alternative cannot be that they're 'close friends" for them, once they start 'really seeing' jikook for the way they are around one another, it disturbs their perfect ideal.

Not saying that there's no possibility that jikook are in fact just close friends after all, but I think once you do see that underlying spark that makes one go "?" ,it's kind of hard to unsee it.

I think seven years? Three? Seven months? Idr but the blackout was because of Vlad making a wish.

I found it ONCE sometime last month, closed the tab, and then my ao3 history glitched out and I haven't been able to find it again.

I do on the occasion yeah! I try not to do it too often as to not just make my asks just a wall of fic hunts but if the fic premise is something I know of I try my best to search for it and help that person!

Tell me about your bj/frank/margaret headcanon

lol unfortunately it's not very sexy* because BJ would never, and he's full of boring excuse like "i'm heterosexual" or "it would be wrong".

some may imagine that HawkBeej have a soul connection upon their first meeting and I don't begrudge anyone that, but I personally don't agree and I don't think the writers would either. there is a reason BJ and Hawkeye have that whole traumatic trip back from Kimpo, the heart-to-heart in the bar (it might be Rosie's, idr)... all that stuff was necessary for them to bond. that's what BJ saying "Ferret Face" really symbolizes - the sealing of the "television bffs" contact between Hawkeye and BJ, they need both parts of "Welcome to Korea" for that to happen.

as far as I'm concerned, if Frank and Margaret had gotten to him first, who's to say he wouldn't have fallen in with them - headcanonically speaking only, this couldn't have happened on the show because BJ is ADAB assigned deuteragonist at birth. I think BJ does have a certain respect for authority and an appreciation for someone who he thinks knows what they're doing. i could see him falling into a disastership with Frank and Margaret lol, spearheaded by him thinking that "they seem nice" read = kind of weird and horny for him, Frank was creaming his pants reading BJ's resume lol I didn't say it, the writers did. he's like a third wheel, but they're both really into the idea of him.

like just imagine Frank and Margaret buttering him up, telling him what a great surgeon they imagine he is, and how great it is that he's joined them. Margaret swooning a little over BJ's gushing about his wife and child, and frank swooning even more because "oh Dr. Hunnicutt is a Phi Kappa Delta* wow Dr. Hunnictt you look sooo great in your class As heehee"

While I don't think BJ would reject Hawkeye entirely as potential friend if he met him later, he does on multiple occasions show disdain for the various ways in which Hawkeye expresses himself and his opinions. They have a lot in common but their value systems clash, and tbh you could say the same for BJ and Frank/Margaret. Actually, Frank and BJ have some common ground in terms of "American Values", which I hate very much thank you showrunners.

And for Hawkeye's part, he'd probably be put off if he saw BJ so much as getting along with Frank and Margaret lol, Hawkeye can be petty like that.

In my mind this would be played up for maximum humorous effect, with BJ's coming to the horrifying conclusion that he's made a huge mistake and writing home to Peg about the whole thing as if she can do anything about it. The final straw comes when he catches the (married) Frank Burns making out with Margaret. This is offends his senses in a much more visceral way than any of the other vaguely questionable things he's heard Frank and Margaret utter, which sort of make him tilt his head like a beagle trying to understand if he's heard them correctly.

now. upon several rewatches of the original and reactions, the first non-Arle voiceline jumped out at me:

"A spark cannot shatter all shadows until it sets all ablaze or else to the other end of light lie still bleak shades"

this made me think back to was it Childes or Wanderers voiceline? where they say that given the chance, the Knave would betray the Harbingers if it suited her. so what if, hear me out, in her quest of retribution she seeks to somehow go against the Fatui/ Harbingers/ Tsaritsa? retribution that is, for the myriad suffering theyve caused to innocent ppl around teyvat. idk abt full on taking them down, as the top 3 harbs are said to have power that rivals archons, but mb put a sizeable dent in their forces, or otherwise impede their plans. she also heavily implied a wish to collaborate w us, the Traveller, in the future at several occasions during the Fontaine AQ. mb she wants to enlist our help in her goal. circling back to that line, i think the spark is obv Father, and the shadows she wishes to shatter i strongly believe are the Fatui/ Harbingers. and unlike me, the line after is confidently saying "set ALL ablaze" = complete eradication of that organization.

my next thought was actually aided by a yt comment under one of the recent vids w her (idr if teaser, demo, or short, likely short) that said sth along the lines of "shes not a wolf in sheeps clothing, shes a sheep in wolfs clothing, forced to blend in w the wolves that took her in". this comment popped into my mind as i watched the scene where she is walking in mb some type of dream or mind world, w numerous children running around, playing and singing. and she has such a soft look on her face as she gazes at them. but then she collects herself w her signature ��� to flip the switch to ig we can call it her wolf side, and the scene changes to her against the red eclipse moon thing (crimson moon?). where was i going w this?.. i think the fact that her "natural" or innermost state is her sheep side where she just wishes to run the orphanage in peace and be a good mother Father to the children and she has to actively suppress that and channel her wolf side in order to carry out her version of justice, and ofc keep blending in w her adoptive wolves (harbingers) until the time is right.

finally, her last voiceline of the demo struck me as very crucial:

"I hear that the children love to play by the fireplace, so let us continue to use the name, "House of the Hearth". Still... its flame is no longer needed for you have the strength to defend yourselves"

from what i can unpack, this is obv talking abt her leaving her position as orphanage director and passing that torch (heh) to Lyney. which btw goes in line w a theory proposed by ABD Illustrates on yt regarding pyro characters (and jumping off to predict plot of Natlan). ill link it btw, go give it a watch, its very insightful:

anyway. she wants the orphanage to keep its name after her retirement. she feels that the children no longer need her (its flame) as under Lyneys leadership they can fend for themselves. a sad look comes across her face as she says this. i believe shes not as unfeeling/ uncaring and is more attached to the children than she dares to admit, and is pained to leave them behind in pursuit of her greater goals.

oh and going back to the 4.6 patch trailer, the boss battle bw her and her main trio of children - despite her thinking Lyney is fit to take over, she wants to give him one final test ig to reaffirm her decision, and to give him the confidence boost to take up that post. cuz he is very unsure of himself, and is always anxious of disappointing Father and not living up to w/e expectations he believes she has for him.

omg that was a lot. this was prob a solid hour of pure stream of consciousness. hopefully theres some coherent nuggets in there. most of it isnt horribly deep, honestly prob surface level stuff that might be painfully obv to others. but i wanted to write it out nonetheless

Got to go for a walk :)

I asked if bestie wanted to come with; got a yes even tho it meant waiting a bit for him to be ready/done with what he was doin' + Acceptance (Rejection would suck super mega-balls)

I was content with just walking around the block (why walk across the street when I don't need to?) but he wanted food so we went to get stuff. Minor anxieties but tried to keep em in check; I will always accept a receipt because I like knowing the prices of stuff. + Reassurance (The price of the few things I got add up to $3 and there wasn't any tax on the receipt so that's nice to know)

Found a dime on the ground that we passed by initially (too many people for me to feel comfortable grabbing it; plus we had just entered the store). Got criticism for it by bestie pensive (1. walking back in the store/grocery area--I didn't leave the store and I didn't rlly have a choice from the pathing we took; 2. Dirty money--I usually wash anything I grab off the ground, do you want me to have gloves with me for such occasions?? I would need different kinds of gloves to do that lmao; 3. He doesn't like doing it around other people--I don't either but specifically if there's a crows around the area, bc if I have the space for it around me then I'm fine with it bc nobody is near enough that I feel watched doing it.) - Confidence (I should be allowed to break social norms if it's not harming anyone /hj)

While we were waiting for his take-out in a restaurant, I did not feel great from talking about the previous point. I almost cried twice--which I refused to do in public; it was hard to purposefully dissociate though because the stuff was still relevant to the conversation :( Managed to make it through though. But the details kinda got fuzzy now; it's mostly the idea of "Oh this is something I'm not allowed to do, that sucks." Ironically, this is something my mom would've likely been fine with, and he tried to use her as an example for how I'm allowed to do stuff, and his criticisms are in good faith. It doesn't change that I'm a tad sensitive to it :( And also I don't really have enough memory of mom not letting me do things in this sense beyond wanting to mix drinks and freeze them only to be told it was bad. + Emotional Damage

Overall I will still consider this a net positive because I got to go outside. got to walk around a bit, and even got food (+ 10c)
