you cried not because of the sentiment of him seeing what you brought into this world together (despite the circumstances that preceded it). you cried because the man you knew was a brick wall that guarded his heart with the strength of steel. you've never seen him cry, and the last time he spoke of it was when he was a child.

you cried because for the first time you saw the man you love, the man you loved, as the softest being on earth. a softness you craved. a softness you searched for but never found.

i think genuinely trying to play operation could make keroro cry. from like, trying to get the parts out and touching the borders which makes that awful sound (imagining him cryyelling about how he doesn't mean to be killing that human) although I imagine he learned some amount of precision from building gundams so maybe he's actually great at it. thinking abt that rubik's cube plot tho at the very least he sucks at puzzles. like all of them. oh god he'd be so bad at crosswords.
