Back again with my Wandee Goodday weekly rambling! I will say that, while I'm still adoring it, the editing is starting to feel weird? Like, I know there's not a cut and an uncut version but sometimes it feels like it.

But! I'm also the kind of person who can nitpick something I love to death, so I'm not going to do that because I'm trying to ~ac-cen-tchu-ate the positive as Mr Mercer wrote. And, like, I'm just here to see two beautiful idiots fall in love XD Anyway! Here we go:

- Dee going straight for the necklace! XD

- Love their apologies! I especially love that he said he'd have let Yak beat Ter up if he wasn't a doctor 🤣

- Seriously, though, his apology made sense! I'm totally extrapolating(?) here but I almost feel like he didn't know why he acted the way he did in the moment

- Okay, kissing only once is silly 🤣 but I'm here for silly! And he did say Yak has to learn to wait, which must mean he does plan on kissing him again. At some point. I can just FEEL Kao's long suffering BFF senses tingling however many apartments away haha

- (I weirdly love being frustrated by shows I love??? Just me??)

- Awww! Love the scene with Yak and Yei <33

- Okay, it's so funny that Dee knows Yak is his special someone and that's why he's asking him, and he's happy to let Kwan and Ter and whoever assume that, but he won't tell Yak 🤣

- "Just one more time" ??? One more time for what? Maybe I should stop watching this when it drops because I'm always half asleep by then lol

- Whatever Yak says about it would be nice to have someone cook for him every day and Dee's desperate 'oh pleeeease let it be meeeee' kinda look lol

- Costume time!!! They looked soooo good in the first ones (I don't know if they're specific characters or just traditional)

- I love how grandma describes dancing but I didn't note it down. Oops! It was lovely, though! And very true—you have to be in sync with your dance partner and you have to give and take equally, otherwise it's not going to work and you may hurt yourself or the other person

- Lmao, they're still pretending! So silly after the kiss and I LOVE IT! XD this is what happens when you don't talk. Please keep it up! lolll

- Tbh, I think Dee's equally afraid if he tells Yak how he feels he'll disappear now (he probably has abandonment issues, I get it! He said that thing about presents making him feel like he hadn't been forgotten about a child, so yeah...)

On “Insecure Jikookers”…

Alright. I might lose followers for this and that’s very okay; curate your timeline and protect your peace babes. But for YEARS, every time the phrase “insecure jikooker” has come up on my feed my eyelid has done a little twitchy twitch 🤨🤨

And I have always ignored it, because I’ve never wanted to be out here policing ppl’s language and we are literally supposed to be having fun and celebrating love, like for me that’s the whole point, but —

I’ve been seeing the phrase popping up again surrounding the release of AYS and I just gotta say it.

You guys the term seems so culty 😬🥲

Like I think I get the origin (maybe)? It probably started when some of the early jikook bloggers (if you are one I salute you, I am not worthy, trust me this is NOT a dig at anyone, jikook bloggers are by and large cool and kind af 🙇‍♀️) would get these sketchy asks that were antis or cultists in disguise just casting aspersions on jikook’s bond or being blatantly homophobic and/or in general being rude little anonymous internet gremlins. Or maybe it was people who did want to believe that jikook was real but kept nagging and begging for reassurance at every turn, which I can totally see becoming annoying as hell and prompting people to start using the term.

But it feels like it’s used now as like a catchall for anyone who expresses any doubt or asks any critical questions? Even like… reasonable ones? And I used to see a lot of “hey believe what you want to believe but this is what I believe” but now it seems like the sentiment around jikooker communities has by and large become “if you don’t believe you’re an idiotic dumb person who has never known love — you’re either a rival shipper in disguise or WORSE (dun dun dunnnnn) an Insecure Jikooker — and we don’t want people like you around.”

And idk it just feels weird for a community that has always seemed to kind of pride itself on being the “rational, fact-based” ship… like we LOVE to be smug about how jikook don’t need edits to be obvious, don’t need slo-mo zooms with red circles and arrows because their chemistry and fondness and affection is just plain to see in basic footage. We’re the levelheaded ones 😌.

But doesn’t that mean that we should always be encouraging critical thinking, and if someone comes to a different conclusion than us, so be it? Like it or not, none of us have foolproof confirmation that jikook are anything more than very close friends. That’s literally all we know. The rest is our best guess based on vibes, anecdotes, dot-connecting, subtext and body language observation, experience, perception (!!This is a big one because confirmation bias is real!!), and suspicion. That’s literally it.

Look maybe I’m just projecting 😅 but when you criticize people for expressing reasonable doubt over something that is literally not confirmed, it’s just a little too religious fundamentalist for me! (This is why I was a bad Christian, because I always raised my hand and asked questions the Sunday school teacher didn’t like.)

Feel free to ignore me. I never want to come across as pushy or trying to stir up anything, it’s just a phrase that grinds my gears and I’m sort of hoping I’m not alone in that… but if I am, so be it! 🤣 would love to hear people’s thoughts because maybe I’m missing something.

(P.S. If you’re a troll who spams jikook blog inboxes this is not me defending you. You’re still annoying and you need a better hobby. Have you tried yoga? Snowboarding? Fly fishing? Filming food vlogs and/or painting? You should try cooking. You should stop being an anonymous internet troll stomping on everyone’s proverbial sandcastles and instead write a poem. K bye ✌️ )

So now!! The waited part two AND ch 16 of WDS IS HERE!!!✨✨✨✨✨ AM SCREAMING

I really really love how when i wake up at like idk 7 AM or so in the morning only to see multiple notification and one of those are your fic notification!! It makes me already giddy and stimmimg trying to calm my heart before i start reading and then stops remembering i have a morning routine to do first before that!!

So back to the review (trust me, my heart STILL beating fast even remembering the fic✨✨ that's how badly am excited!), We start back at the kids FIGHTING tooth and nail for our peepaw's attention! I just looves it, it's funny and oddly wholesome, and leo begin a grumpy old man - with too much PTSD in that shell - is just sitting there and watching the drama unfolds while trying - keyword trying but not hard enough - to stop them ONLY to be saved by old man splinter 😂

Man why do i feel splinter WANTS to say " get use to it because it's gonna happen daily " and walk as the ghost brothers and sister give them their privacy that they needed, it is right that after the scary battle, the injuries and taking care of everybody? Big blue didn't have his time to let... Well.. Everything sink in his brain! It's like delay panic.

I feel so happy that splinter asked f!leo to go with him shopping because he not only needed some sort of quite but quality time with his dad! So they teleport to hidden city market and it does remind me of few funny things (something relate to my memories when i was just a little girl).

Splinter giving leo ONE job to do and he fail miserably - i don't kinda blame him, IT'S BEEN 20 YEARS! -.

I... LOVE how he is able to avoid scammers and pickpocketers, this screams how well aware leo is and i LOVE IT!! The cool vibes of " i may be old but don't mess with me! " vibes 🤩

He finally meets the 03 cat klunk! (03 tmnt Mikey had an orange cat i don't remember if it was named klunk or not), and just knowing her lower part is broken just BREAK my sensitive heart, i can't bear to see an animal hurt THIS bad especially if they can't defend themselves.

And we reach the 2nd part the spoiled clip part of the store owner, before we continue this guy reminded me of that one background guy in cass apocalypse comic where he was screaming at casey when leo turned smol? Remember him? Yeah he reminds me of that guy.

So back at store owner he drops jokes, insults and comments left and right - missus pfft - and we reach that champion pants, believe me i almost SCREAMED FOR THAT PANTS!! THEY FIT HIM!! tho he didn't wear it yet - wait is I'm blue fic, big blue wear them?? -

I honestly never thought leo would drop the WHOLE summary of his existence and war to the store owner but man, HE BELIEVED HIM?!?! WUT?!

So NOW leo - with cute little Klunk - going to find ol' splinter and he's fighting so hard for a discount - ngl that reminds me of my mom, she fought a guy for 15% discount - and then dropping the tea!🤣 i honestly wished i was there to egg him on " spill the tea sis! Spill the tea! ".

Leo luckily went back home without much difficulty only to see a new challenger had been added to the fight... CJ! Now my bet is with CJ! He will kick ass.

Am glad Klunk was there to calm everyone down because i think they would've been to the second phase; using REAL weapons.

I think because leo was older he was weak against orange's puppy eyes - AND EVEN SAID WE TOOK DONNIE IN 😂😂😂😂-.

But then realize blue is missing and that gets me worried a bit, maybe it's the part where he and blue play video games? Hopefully.

Yes Klunk! I honestly spent a good amount of time thinking about what to name the kitty but then I remembered 03 Mikey’s cat and thought to give the kitty the same name as homage or I guess Easter egg to a really good show

The yokai clothing hop owner that Leonardo met was kind of inspired by the real talkative (questionable) guy from the first chapter of DMD hehe. But selling the champion pants is totally not referring to the battle nexus (in a silly way, we won’t be getting Leonardo in big mama’s ring) but I like to think that there are yokai who sell off brand battle nexus champ merch lol

And Leonardo admitting to his creation (although twisting the truth to seem a little more believable for the yokai) made me laugh a little because he said it either such conviction that it was believable lol

Leonardo returning to the chaos was a struggle there were so many people to take account for in writing but blue going missing kind of makes it easier

Sadly we won’t be getting the moment where Leonardo and blue play games and that won’t happen until Casey jr gets into school. :)

100,000% Drarry. I know I've said this before, but like...I'm overly in love with Snarry, so shipping them with other people makes me sad. 🤣 But I can at least feel a spark or a vibe from other ships, such as say Tomarry or Sirry (for Harry), or Snaco or Sneville (for Severus.) There's interest there, and sexiness, and even if it's not romance or longterm, I can envision there being something.

Drarry???? I just don't get it. 😭 0 spark. 0 spice. For me personally. Clearly there are plenty of people who do get those things! Or who don't need those things in a ship, idk. Drarry is huge and ngl I wish I could see it! Especially because Drarry has so many super talented people. 🥺 I admire all the art, and the fics I've read have been so stellar!!!! A+ writing. A+ art. Gorgeous, stunning, amazing. I envy Drarry folks, they have so many goods to enjoy!

Anyway. I can't really ship it romantically. And I can barely see a case for it sexually. 🧐 But platonic???? I LOVE IT. Just like begrudging buddies postwar. The decapitation might not be canon, but 616 Stephen speaks of 616 Mordo in the past tense. My cope/theory is that Stephen and Wong think Mordo is dead, probably after trying and failing to kill Stephen, and his supposed death is somewhat recent, which is why Stephen still has some unresolved and complex feelings about it that manifest in random bouts of anger against a guy that only looks like his Mordo. Then in DS3, Mordo will be revealed to be alive, surprising all. Let me dream 🥲

I really hope they didn’t kill Mordo off screen because WOW dropping him would be a gigantic mistake. It’ll be a huge loss for all the potential storylines, not to mention the actual storyline they started with his personal quest to lessen the number of sorcerers. Idk what they were thinking about the decapitation idea dear nonny. I just know it was a fucking gross idea that clearly came from someone who has no respect for DS lore cause why the hell would you dare get rid of Mordo like that and treat him like another body count for Wanda? Ughhhh

But yeah, I’m hoping that Stephen’s reactions are just from him being an emotional mess. Given how often he ruminates about the past I’m sure he’s thought of Mordo. And he probably wonders a lot about how things could have been different had he just went after him after the Dormmamu deal. It just sucks that he mentioned how he and Mordo fought multiple times but we never saw that or even got a hint of that through any of the films. It was just a dumb throw away line that reeked of laziness. * heavy sigh* The issues boil down to the terrible writing and I will never get over it.

I wonder if Stephen wasn’t even angry at his Mordo tbh. Or he might have bottled it up and then seeing 838 just finally gave him a chance to confront Mordo without actually confronting him. Stephen was lashing out at a complete stranger and it’s just very weird so see how easily he projected. Meanwhile 838 easily differentiates between 616 Stephen and 838 Strange. 616 Stephen accuses Mordo of having a terrible relationship with his variant to the point of plotting his downfall, and Mordo yells that he knows nothing of their universe. There’s really no need for Mordo to defend his relationship with 838 Stephen and yet he does 👀 And then he understands why 616 Mordo wouldn’t like 616 Stephen, implying that his relationship with 838 Stephen was different.

I will defend 838 strordo so hard at this point 🤣😭

And I just got this funny scenario in my head of 616 Stephen and his Mordo meeting each other again. Stephen being surprised that he’s still alive. Stephen mentions meeting a Mordo variant who also tried to kill him. Seriously tho, suddenly Hinata develops an interest in MMA

He walked by a gym one time, saw people fighting and legit ran 🏃‍♂️ to ask them about it

After that, he was sold

So it's not surprising that he happened to stumble upon a video if Japan's gorgeous manager

Like he's actually in his apartment, clicks the video, watches it and sees you

It's takes .02 seconds for it to register

You have no gear, not padding and you just know this isn't going to fair well for Atsumu 😅

"Now wait a minute, if Atsumu gets hurt does that make me the automatic setter for the Olympics?"- Kags, probing

You show up at the gym, both Suna and Osamu are there 🤣

They are both wearing "Team YN" shirts 🤣

"You guys work fast"

You step into the ring, completely suited up in your ring gear and taped up

Literally as soon as the bell sounds, Atsumu comes charging at you

Literally all it takes is a leg sweap and that man falls face first, smashing his nose into the mat

He instantly bleeds and Iwaizumi calls the match 🤣

"I think there's a life lesson in all of this"- Aran

Atsumu will sulk and say he tripped 😅

Tell him his charging technique was intimidating

He's over it in like 3 days tops 🤣

And you get to keep your fighting all to yourself 😍
