God, playing through ULTRAKILL again on Brutal is such a strangely powerful experience... although I rush through ACT 1 due to experiencing it so much, it's still special. Especially so because anytime I try to replay ACT 1, I tend to just get burnt out on it. But man, did I just blaze through! Trying to get a grip on this new arsenal as well! What they did is fantastic! Really don't believe they could have done anything better for the Red Secondaries!

Also, the Alt-Shotgun. One of the most fun weapons in any game. I mean that seriously and sincerely, strange Doohickey my beloved.

Also, holy shit Gabriel, Judge of Hell. I am struggling. I am reminded as to what Gabe represents here, and why this is such a huge moment in the narrative. The heart, beating with such power, the eyes of hell, fixated on Gabriel, rather than V1, his general demeanor, and the strength he fights in, in a nonchalant manor, for this is just him expressing who he is, a tool of authority, made to take out any scrap that may shuffle around in the back. God. So much to say, and so much has been said about Gabe.

Anyways yeah, it is always great to be reminded as to why ULTRAKILL is so special, it has an artistic effect that's sort of like a shock that sinks in, and the way it sinks in is a way in which it will remain under, in your mind, in your soul... it's so fucking hard to articulate, but it really does mean the world to me.

my dad requested more art for his custom Pokemon cards this year for his birthday, and this time I chose my favorite lazy bean Fuecoco! 🥰

like the Charmander art I drew him last year, I wanted to have a "realistic" background. so since the region of Paldea is based off Spain, I looked up photos of actual Spanish deserts for inspo. I chose the Monegros desert cause I liked the splashes of greenery, and I'm a sucker for pretty rock formations 💙
