So while reading the book I came across these two paragraphs:

And they oddly reminded me of Feyre...

I'm not saying it means anything because I'm no theorist lol but while reading these, only Feyre came to my mind.

Cthona holding an infant while her other hand hold an orb which represents Midgard and in ACOWAR we have Feyre fixing the Cauldron which we learn it's kill switch for Prythian (even tho we knew that but now there's a story behind it) so she -and Rhys- literally saved their whole planet. In another word its holding up because of their power...

Urd holding a black metal bowl in her hands and symbols are carved all over it. Cauldron also have patterns swirl on it. Those symbols runs all over Urd's body and we have Feyre having tattoos on her arms and in ACOTAR we've seen her body being painted in patterns.

ACOTAR -> chapter 13:

ACOWAR -> chapter 76:

Now we know Feyre had their entire *world* into the palm of her hand and not universe because back then we didn't know other worlds exist as well. But again this looks like Cthona, birther of worlds, holding the Orb in one of her hands, the other holding a baby and Urd, Goddess/Fate/Mother, holding a bowl in her hands...

idk what all this means, maybe Sarah only like the aesthetic. And I think it's so far fetched to say Feyre is a goddess (or semi-goddess?)... but it's all very interesting :)

the school arc to me is so good because it drags ciel out of his position as a powerful figure and literally places him in the shoes of the person he could have been. the circus arc ALSO drags him out of his position as big bad queens watch dog/head of the phantomhive estate but the school arc feels like a mockery of a future that never was. this is what he could have been had his parents not died. and even then its NOT because he will never be that kid.

the fact that Ellie swears like a sailor is somehow both endearing and absolutely devastating because like it's kinda just how she talks. she's just Like That. we're used to it. but then it hits you that she swears more when she's afraid. like yeah she sprinkles in a swear word every other sentence typically but when she's actually really truly afraid it's every other word. because the intensity of her emotions are so overwhelming and that's the only way she knows how to express it. so yeah, she's a rough and tumble girl and her vernacular reflects that but when she's really swearing loudly and a lot... that's because she's overwhelmed.

To be fair, this is kind of a fairy vs walrus situation.

Like, it's much easier to accept/think it's normal that I have forest magic given to me by a wizard who's also the town hermit and that drinking green tea makes me hallucinate, but it's too much to believe that green water rains down and causes the entire valley to be absolutely flooded with fiber and magically-growing trees and also it makes you feel like you're in the apocalypse the first time it happens

The best thing about the new stardew update is you can tell concerned ape got comfortable just being fucking weird. Which is understandable considering most indie devs have to be some level of insane

i've seen a few people mention it, and while there's definitely a Lot of problems with s2, i find that it makes perfect sense that the creators chose not to show a scene or give a reason as to why the zaunites came to help piltover in the final ep.

yes, it would've been great if we got more screen-time for those characters that seemed to do complete 180s (namely, sevika) and see their motivation, but overall, a scene like that might have ultimately cheapened the decision. like, does it really matter if there was a "why" beyond? would any motive balance out the suffering that zaun has gone through at the hands of piltover's citizens? no. of course not.

at no point do we forget that the people of zaun are horribly mistreated. it's written clearly in the first two acts: people being punished for daring to rebel, extra measures taken for protection because as per the rules of oppression "the act of one member of the party = all members of that party are evil." being thrown in prison for just having a protest, for fuck's sake.

both us as the audience and the people of piltover understand why the zaunites originally refuse to take part in the fight. what has piltover done to deserve their empathy? absolutely nothing. and what could have changed in the time between the zaunites hunkering down and them coming back to help? absolutely nothing.

but they help anyways!

at the end of the day, nothing is going to erase what the people of zaun have suffered. they had every right to turn their backs and do what they do best, what they've been forced to do time and time again: seek their own survival. and they'd be right to do it!

so let's be honest, there was never any point for us to see a scene where they finally "see reason", or change their minds, or whatever you want to call it. because them showing up is the important part. it's them saying "we've put up with your shit and we don't like you, but we won't become you."

Red, White, and Royal Blue is the worst movie I've ever seen. It's the perfect movie. The original dialog is stupid. The original dialog is hilarious. It laughs in the face of the source material. The pacing is horrible. The pacing is amazing. The actors are beautiful. The actors look nothing like the book characters. They deleted June and Leo and Liam and Rafael Luna and gave us some weird little reporter boy. They say "History, huh?" In the museum scene. Alex knows he likes boys. Alex is still confused about liking Henry. It makes no sense. It makes perfect sense.

It's my favorite movie. Don't watch it.
