Hi i just wanted to say I love your works and profile sm, I love how you represent fireafy and coinpin and each of their respective characters, and I especially love how you represent Coiny. I feel like from what I've seen people don't see how Coiny really is, they usually just reduce him to a jerk or a firey slapper. But he's so much more and so different from that lke in canon he's so driven and serious but then fun and chill when needed, and how he can be fun and silly but then empathetic and sweet when given. and I feel like the way you represent him is so accurate and takes evey aspect of him in canon as well as headcanons that just FIT HIM SO WELL and idk it just makes me so happy. I also LOVE your headcanon of him being able to pull both masculinity and femininity, I love it so much it emulates the essence of him so well so be so comfortable in himself and not have a shred of toxic masculinity or anything like that. And I love how you make him adore pin like YES HE ADORE AND LOVES and does whatever pin wants it just makes me so happy esp with how gorgeous she is and as someone who is also plus sized and having issues with self image seeing coiny adore pin like that makes me believe in myself more idk how to explain it but YEA hahah just really like how you depict his charcater as a whole

coiny is one of my favorite characters he’s sooOOO FUNNY AND CHARMING! i love expressing his silly side and how dumb he is sometimes so i do it in most of my work (because it’s lighthearted almost every time) and it makes me so happy to see him being so.. coiny! he is genuinely such an amazing character and the perfect balance of cool, kind, and idiotic(affectionately) he’s so nice and so compassionate and i appreciate that about him so much and I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU CAN ENJOY MY PORTRAYAL OF HIM BECAUSE HE IS SO AWESOME! I LOVE EVERY PART OF HIM!!! and you like my headcanons!!! i forget what kind of coiny headcanons i have represented on this account but YESSS!!! I like the idea of gossip girl x Harry storyline, he’s a posh college Brit whose popularity makes him someone every girl wants to keeps track of but he’s not big on social media and has gone in to school solely trying to keep a low profile whilst unbeknownst to him he is the talk of the entire campus. And to throw in some spookiness maybe his reason for staying off media is due to an incident at his old school that his father barely manages to keep out of the press, and then there is y/n a typically introverted person who has decided to make college her “break out of the shell moment” by feigning for something or someone to notice her. So much so, that at the first glimpse of a friendship blossoming with some seemingly popular sorority girls she finds herself lying about a new mystery boyfriend. A guy she hardly thought people would notice. She’d seen him once or twice come into the cafe where she frequents to have lunch alone and couldn’t help but be engrossed at him reading one of her all time favorite books, he surely wasn’t a typical college guy, no this guy was sophisticated, dressed to the nines, and he spoke like a professional… did she mention he was British. So needless to say when the description of him left her lips she was drawing from one of her mere daily fantasy’s from what she’d imagine a day with him would be like, and or how a night with him would feel like. So engrossed in her fictional recollection she hardly notices the angered realization that plays in the women’s faces until not too soon after she and Harry become the talk of the town, and not in a way that could go unnoticed by the people he’s hiding from. Now that they are both on the wrong side of popularity Harry must figure who this mystery girl is he’s tied to, before the infatuated gazes of his peers takes a far deeper and darker dive into his previous life. And as a new found member of the elite y/n must try to get ahead of her rumor mill before her only crush finds out and she becomes forced to learn the hardest lesson of them all, to “be careful what you wish for.”

And then maybe she gets a random note from someone in his past that's very vague but hints at who Harry really is, so now she's suspicious of HIM, too!! And they're trying to figure out what the other one is hiding, "pretending" to like each other until they realize they actually do??

yknow looking back at this downgraded rip off drawing of the original this is actually a shit drawing LMAO (how tf do you draw flames and smoke pls help 💔) now one thing i like to headcanon about rei is that whenever he starts to get frustrated or is having a hard time with carrying out an assassination he decides to do fuck all and blow everything up with literally anything flammable he could find because no target survives being blown to oblivion! (which happens more often than you think...) i like to think while this is an easy way out for rei, it is an absolute nightmare and a headache for the rest of his family 😌 (they probably would have to deal with unwanted attention because rei doesn't give a shit about keeping a low profile and people may tie him to the Morozovs 🤗 they also may struggle to come up with cover stories as these arson incidents become more frequent - because rei is the type of person who values quantity over quality, where he challenges himself to complete multiple assassinations so he can receive praise from his family 😂🤪 and it also doesn't help that he would rather cut corners and take the easy way out when it comes to his work) luka and jackal: " these fires are getting out of hand, we can't keep doing this... How I draw kids tutorial‼️‼️

@queenofthemultiverse I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME ALMOST 2 AND A HALF SUM MONTHS TO DO. But, here’s the tut you asked for <\\\333 again REALLY sorry 😭

OK KIDS. So I did older kids, and younger kids.

Younger kids (4-8)

Younger kids tend to be a little chubby. Remember, they’re only just coming out of their toddler stages and the years after that. They have round faces still, BUT their facial features that are inherited from parents usually become more prominent and visible. They have sort of squashed side profiles, if that makes sense 💀 they typically have big, round, expressive, eyes. Big smiles. So cute <33

As for body, still, they’re a bit chubby. They do stretch out, but don’t thin out. Their limbs are like. Soft???? Idk how to explain it, but they’re aren’t a lot of sharp edges, like their elbows, those are still round. They usually have small hands, but their fingers are a little longer, if not a bit chubby still. They have small feet, sometimes still only in toddler sizes until they hit about 7. They have shorter shoulders, they’re also still very round.

Older kids (9-12)

Now this is where they begin to thin out. They (usually) have their first growth spurt, around 10-12. Maybe 9. Their faces aren’t as round, and these are the ages where they start loosing teeth. Yes, they can lose teeth before, but it’s most often at this age. By 12 they have their adult teeth. That’s why in a lot of my drawings, if I draw one of the kids at a certain age, they have teeth that are missing sometimes. I ain’t draw it here, but their jaws on their side profile is more define, like o their front and 3/4. This is the case UNLESS they’re baby faced, like Mirabel (or me).

Body. This is the age where they thin, where their height comes in. Their hands are bigger, their fingers are a bit longer. I wouldn’t say there are edges to they, but there’s a lot more definition, all over. Depending on clothes, you can see this. Or if you look at their faces and hands. Their eyes are still pretty big, still very expressive. But than again, eyes are always pretty expressive in my style. So.

HOPE THIS HELPS <333 🦅🦅🦅🦅I really do hope this clears up my style on kids more. But if not. Looking at references helps. I never really looked at references because I gotta look at my siblings mugs all day 😭

my biggest tip (kind of general. but yeah) is to not let yourself get to the point of absolutely hating drawing. sometimes i won’t be able to figure out how to draw something and genuinely get so upset that i have to walk away for a while, and that’s okay! after i calm down (and maybe have a snack LOL), i go back to it. sometimes i even restart my sketch entirely if i think it’s beyond saving, and usually the next attempt comes out good :)

you’ve heard this a million times before, i’m sure, but references references references. they were Not lying when they said you should use references. i use them all the time even now. a big thing that helped me was sketching over top of a picture of someone doing whatever pose i want to draw, breaking it down into shapes, and doing a second sketch on top of that one of the actual anatomy. if you’re interested i have quite a few references on this Pinterest board of mine!

adding onto above, the “simple shapes” in question are typically a very very simply shaped skeleton. like this fellow!

(sorry the image is fucking massive idk why it does that) also good to note that typically, your elbows should meet your waist, and your hands should meet your mid-thigh, but don’t be afraid to play with that a bit 🙏

i was stubborn and didn’t do this for YEARS and years but flipping your canvas is actually so so helpful… sometimes i flip my canvas and suddenly i notice that my character is doing that fuckass micheal jackson pose and im like why are you literally italic

i have started to not think too hard about it when im drawing hands and my life has been bliss. idk how else to explain this one… might just be from drawing hands so many times. but yeah. i do Not do that whole finger segment thing anymore i just don’t have the brainpower to make it work personally

as for hair just remember how you want it to be shaped mostly. idk. i love drawing hair so it’s just muscle memory at this point for me 😭🙏

faces… i don’t know i just don’t use that many lines. enough to convey the expression you want, i suppose. but that could just be a stylistic thing!

SKULLS ARENT CIRCULAR… they’re more like ovals. this tip saved my life when it came to drawing side profiles

ALSO ALSO IF YOU WANTyour character to look more up or more down their ear should like. be above their actual face for looking down and below the face if they’re looking up. like this

all i did here was move her face (+bangs) down or up depending on which way his head was facing!!

in conclusion please remember im literally just some teen who likes to draw i haven’t even taken any professional classes so take this all with a grain of salt… i am seriously not lying when i say my process is fuck around and find out LOL but i hope this helps!!!

okay so! hmm

I've been doing mostly traditional art for a good portion of my life now, so to be honest I'm kind of new to digital art. back then I mostly just drew profiles and faces and wasn't good at anatomy (but to be honest I'm still bad at it- I use Poseit to help me ;D!!) and I hadn't really touched digital art until around. last year to the year before that I'd say? I'm not sure. my memory is horrible

as I said, I now use Poseit to help with structuring my art, and my previous art style just looked a bit. strange with it I'd say? lemme find the first digital art I posted

foster! this one was made using a posing template I found on pinterest, not Poseit. I wasn't all that good about making clothes look like clothes, so other than the little creases in the shirt their clothes look a bit strange. I'm really iffy about the eyes and the way I shaded them, and back then the way I drew scars is really different to how I do now. I'm all for the clean look it has at the end, but I prefer my new style ;3 also I remember I immediately went in with doing lineart instead of sketching out what I wanted to do first? on the plus side, though, as I said the finishing style is clean, the lines are consise and their expression is definitely foster-y, and I actually don't mind the shading!

as previously stated, that was my first try at digital art. now let's take a look at my most recent one, aka my pfp (actually, I'll use two recent ones)

let's start with the rayan one! as with foster's, I stuck to having clean lines, except I think I did vary the sizes of the lines? I'm not sure. I've only recently begun adding things like blood and blush to my art, so I don't think I've mastered it just yet. idk, does that count as rendering? I'm not sure

god, bloody noses. I love bloody noses. I had so much fun giving Rayan a bloody nose it's insane. also, you can tell that the lines on the scars are slimmer compared to the ones on foster, but I think they'd look better more like. idk, wiggly? uneven? scarry? I'm not exactly sure

and then Ru, omg Ru. this was my first try making a background, and I used stencils from ibis paint to do the trees n leaves n whatnot. this was more of a chance to experiment than anything; using a textured brush was a really nice change, and I got inspired by @/befuddled-calico-whump (sorry I'm a big lurker around their channel I really like their art) and the way they sometimes show the sketches beneath the actual lineart in their own pieces! it allowed me to be more messy and make it look more candid (?) in my style. I didn't really go for too much shading other than the lighting of the moon, since I still don't know what I'm doing with shading 😭😭

anyway! I guess the simple answer was a lot of years spent tweaking my style, and sort of just experimenting and having fun until I settle on something I'm comfortable with. I'm still new to certain aspects of drawing digitally, but I'm glad that people like my art :3
