honestly i LOVED the our skyy episodes like i know im terribly biased, but out of all the ones we got until now i think the plot for vice versa felt the most organic and coherent to the characters and their journey. once again everyone involved in the show put so much care and attention into it, and jimmysea have such a natural easy chemistry to them, they sell the lovesick fools who have been married for five years SO WELL. IDK IF I CAN PICK ONLY 3 FAVORITE MOMENTS BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL SO GOOD BUT LET ME TRY:

1) the beach scene. IRREVOCABLY CHANGED ME MY LIFE MY PERSPECTIVE THE FOUNDATION OF MY PERSONHOOD THE BIOCHEMISTRY OF MY BRAIN AND THE ENTIRE MAKE UP OF MY BEING ON AN INTRINSIC MOLECULAR LEVEL. AGAIN. i haven't even begun to process A QUARTER of the insane amount of parallels they managed to pack in just 3 minutes of screentime and how, by doing that, they were able to show just how far puentalay have come in their journey: from strangers to lovers, from a one sided drunk kiss to a passionate yet tender mutual kiss, from a mouthed 'i like your name' to a mouthed 'i love you', from talay's life ending in the ocean to the ocean being the witness of his love, that same love he once thought was just an annoying distraction in the way to achieve his dreams and that now has become an essential color in the palette of his life..... literally made me experience every single emotion present on the spectrum of human consciousness, im gonna need a 2 weeks long vacation in a controlled environment to decompress and recover from the sheer high romance and the whole entire everything of it all

also not to toot my own horn but i love being correct and never losing:

2) both the birthday conversation and the drawing one. SORRY I KNOW IM CHEATING BUT I JUST CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN THESE TWO MOMENTS. WHEN I SAY PUENTALAY INVENTED COMMUNICATION UNDERSTANDING CARE LOVE SUPPORT!!!!!!!! im not mentally stable enough to be coherent about this but like.. one of the reasons i adore puentalay is that since the beginning they have always been willing to try to understand each other. no relationship comes without misunderstandings or conflicts, they're always bound to happen from time to time because we're all different and we all react to things in different ways, but what matters the most is the way you can come together after that to face the issue and make it better. i feel like people often have this idealized vision of love where everything must be perfect and passionate and all-consuming, but i believe love is actively choosing to share your life with someone every day as you help each other navigate through it and enjoy the quiet moments together, and i think these two conversations show that puen and talay have this kind of love, a love that will last forever because whatever happens being together is the most important thing for them

3) puentalay and jigsaw sleeping in the same bed. LITERALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU EXCEPT THAT I PERSONALLY DON'T EVEN WANT KIDS BUT SEEING PUEN AND TALAY BEING SO TENDER WITH JIGSAW AND REARRANGING THEIR LIFE TO MAKE SPACE FOR HIM HAD ME LYING IN THE DIRT SOBBING FOR SEVERAL HOURS TO CLIMB DOWN FROM THE SUGAR HIGH THIS SCENE GAVE ME WITH ITS SWEETNESS. it also reminded me a little of the scene in episode 6 when talay admits everything he has missed about puen: talay has always been more rational and reserved with his emotions compared to puen, but it's in quiet moments like these that you can see how deeply his feelings actually run. both puen and talay have so much love to give and one day, when they will be ready, they're gonna have a kid of their own and expand their family, and this knowledge is gonna MAKE ME DIE HAPPY AND IN PEACE

favourite thing about them: i love how positive and encouraging she is! i love how she took up the leader position and tried to keep everyone positive and find a way out in ch1 :) and in terms of gameplay, i just absolutely love ch1's angle with the protagonist being the killer (i know she isn't really, but that's how the chapter functions lol) it was such a unique twist. if i didn't spoil the game for myself (on purpose, like, i just straight up went and read the entire plot on wikipedia right after character interactions and stuff for every game😭😭) i definitely wouldn't have seen it coming. but then going back through it and seeing all the small hints aa i love it

favorite thing about them: he’s so fucking funny, i love that hes like the straight man of hisui. Adaman is so fucking normal (genuine), and literally everyone else around him has like a secret bit they have to commit to or theyll die. And like he just has to deal w it. Like all of it. Everyone’s nonsense all the time. You can tell he’s so tired and he’s just trying to keep it together

Also obligatory, but his design is soo fucking killer. Ive only recently actually sat down to draw him n hes just so fun. So well shaped. I like irida’s design on its own a lot, but like compared to adaman? they did her so dirty.

least favorite thing about them: I WISH WE GOT MORE OF A BACKSTORY WITH HIM UGGH i hate to compare him to Irida sm here, but she got like. A very clear story of struggling to accept her new position as clan leader after being abruptly shoved into it. Of the rest of her clan either having insanely high expectations for her, or in Palina’s case, feeling like she didn’t deserve the position.

I get Adaman’s whole thing was Supposed to be that he struggled to earn respect from the rest of the Diamond Clan until Dialga outright Possessed him (which that part is fucking sick. For the record), but i wish they just made it more apparent that. That’s What was supposed to be happening lol. 

Because idk, at least to me, definitely the rest of the clan members were kinda bratty, but i never got the impression they were that way specifically Because they thought Adaman was a weak leader, you know? This seems to be a case of "the narrative presents this character as Bad™ therefore everyone must dislike him, and who instead likes him is automatically off of the moral high horse, which means they are Bad™ too".

Whereas Steve was redeemed by the narrative (and from Cool Guy turned into Loser Dude the moment he stopped being a bully, lmao good job there folks), so every bad thing he did was automatically forgiven. Billy was given the "sacrifice as a redeeming quality" moment which surely isn't enough for the morally hungry crowd of puritans who will deem people Bad™ unless the narrative doesn't spell it out real clearly for them: "This Character Is Good Now, They Redeemed Themselves, Look At Them Doing Good Things, It's Okay To Like Them Now Child Do Not Fear Jesus Loves You".

And let us not forget! “Why?” Pandora looks up from her spot in the kitchen where she’s pouring plastic cups of lemonade for the three of them, she looks genuinely confused and it makes Regulus feel rather smug, he knows more about muggle holidays and understands what Luna’s learnt from her classmates more than Pandora does. 

“They can fly,” Luna says this like it’s obvious, in a tone so clearly picked up from her Aunt Dorcas that Pandora’s mouth drops open in shock a bit and Regulus has to stifle a laugh. 

“Yeah Panda, did you not know that?” Luna looks up as Regulus sides with her, holding up a hand for a high-five. Regulus obliges and she smiles, looking the spitting image of her mother. 

“Are you sure they can fly?” Pandora asks carefully, carrying over the cups and placing them on the short table, pressing a kiss to her daughter's head and running a hand over her hair before sitting down. 

“Yes, we saw it in the films,” Luna shrugs, and Regulus copies when Pandora shoots him an incredulous look. 

“Okay,” Pandora draws out the word, “And where would we keep it?” 

Luna hums thoughtfully, taking a few moments to finish her colouring and look up at the conversation, “It can stay with me in my room, ooh can I get bunk beds!” She squeals excitedly and Regulus sees Pandora actually bite her tongue to stop herself agreeing. 

“You’d have to take the top bunk, the reindeer can’t climb the ladder,” Regulus chimes in helpfully and Pandora kicks him under the table.

“Fine, okay now that that’s sorted, what would you feed them?” Luna sighs, tutting discontentedly in the manner of a middle-aged teacher fed up of explaining the same concept. 

“Reggie you have to help me, she knows nothing,” Regulus laughs as Pandora puts on a show of being offended and picks Luna up to sit in his lap while they talk, hugging her back to her chest and hooking his head over her shoulder. 

“Mum, we have to feed them candy canes, everyone knows that!” 

“They eat carrots too, so you don’t have to question about their health,” Regulus continues to support Luna’s points, interested to see how Pandora will wriggle her way out of this, or if she’ll end up with a reindeer in her garden by the end of the week. 

“They get lonely on their own, so I don’t think we’ll be able to, sorry my love.” Luna slumps in his arms, not saying anything else but clearly upset she hasn’t gotten her own way. With the way her family would do anything for her, it’s only a matter of time before Luna owns an entire herd of reindeer.

2. when was the last time you cried?

i teared up a little watching Forrest Gump, but who doesn't? the last time i cried for real was october 19 and i only remember the date because i took a picture and sent it to my friend lol. it was bad, y'all, i ugly cried for an hour

3. do you have kids

i do not! however, i have three younger siblings and was called both mom and dad by my yearbook staff last year lol

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

so much. too much, probably. idk it's something i definitely picked up from my mom and it's just the way i speak now. not online because it's hard to pick up on, but i am very snarky / sarcastic irl

5. what's the first thing you notice about people?

eye color. idk why but that's the thing that jumps out to me

brown :)

7. scary movie or happy ending?

happy ending. partly because i'm a wimp and partly because i'm a sucker for "they all lived happily ever after"

my father says he found an egg in the desert and hatched it in his kitchen sink and that's how i ended up in his life. i believe it

10. what are your hobbies?

i listen to music all the time. i love collecting vinyl. i draw a lot but have zero talent for it. it's just something i do because i enjoy the process but i end up hating 90% of the stuff i produce

11. do you have any pets?

CORA!! my sweet, perfect angel child with no braincells ever :)) she is everything to me

12. have you played/ do you play any sports?

nah, i'm not a very sporty person, unlike literally everyone else in my family. that being said, i do enjoy hiking, mountain biking and kayaking (see: having a family of athletically inclined people)

13. how tall are you?

five foot five (and im the shortest person in my family, rip)

14. favorite subject in school?

english 1000%. i actually still keep in regular contact with my HS english teacher and we talk all the time about the stuff we're reading and just how life is. i've always had a deep love for the written word and i've been a huge reader since i was literally three or four. i also love writing, so english classes are my jam.

15. dream job?

i want to write for a music news source like Kerrang or AltPress or Pitchfork, even. i've always known i want to be a writer. when i started doing journalism in high school i realized that i wanted to be a journalist for the rest of my life and only very recently did i decide i want to write about music. i just love everything about being a journalist. i love meeting new people and telling their stories and talking to them. i love writing. i would love to land a gig that gives me the opportunity to travel for my job. i did an internship at a newspaper last year in the spring and just absolutely adored it. i cannot wait to get my degree and a job and do that for the rest of my life, genuinely.

yes actually! my mom named me after olivia newton john bc she loves grease so now by default i also love grease

no idea. i cry at movies and tv shows more than like, actual things. so i couldn't tell you tbh. probably some time last week

um... this is hard but i guess their hair? maybe just face in general my brain just processes it as a whole so.

happy endings 100%. i am a huge sucker for a happy ending i can't help it.

hm. well, i can kind of swordfight? i took stage combat my last year of college so i learned it there. oh! i do impressions a lot, my best impression is unfortunately lois griffin. i'm also aware of how bad that is.

in a lab as an experiment gone wrong. next question.

writing, mostly, whether it's fic or screenplays or whatever, i just love it!! reading too i LOVE books <3!! oh, and i collect a lot of physical media, dvds, vinyl records, cassette tapes, etc etc.

yup! i have three cats; padme, precious, and sox!

12. have you played/do you play any sports?

i don't play sports anymore, but i played t-ball when i was really little, then basketball for a while, then i was a cheerleader for a little bit (hated that) and i tried out for volleyball but i never made the team in middle school rip </3

now though it's just archery occasionally, i only just recently got a new bow (my other one i'd had since i was like 12 she was NOT working properly lmao) and i've got to get some stuff before i can actually do anything with it.

in high school i was more of an english/drama kid but in college i drifted towards history and drama/film (and religion, i love religious studies.)

15. dream job?

eh, it changes. for a long time i wanted to be an actor, then a writer, then back to actor, then to writer/director/actor. so it just kind of goes all over the place. definitely something creative though, it's my favorite type of environment.

ahh!!! tysm for that tutorial! u even added pictures!! as someone with adhd and learns visually thank u!! i just recently started digital drawing and its so difficult to translate my work digitally bc it feels so unnatural and overwhelming ashsjs. you see im just that type of artist that draws on small notebooks but when im asked to draw on something huge, im just not comfortable doing it. thats the same feeling when i tried out digital art :(

also same anon!! im sorry if this is annoying (just excited i got a response from one of my fav artists!!) i wanted to ask in my earlier q but word limit ahh. may i know what canvas size + resolution you think is the best? or... if you have other things to say pls share them! im not familiar with any of these digital art jargons at all! i hope you enjoy your day!

Oh yeah I totally get you w drawing digital like the learning curve is so weird and hard :( You’ll absolutely get used to it and you shouldn’t feel discouraged bc you’ll find your own way that works best for you w practice!! (Unfortunate part is practice). If it makes anyone reading this feel better: I cannot draw traditionally at all bc I don’t practice!

I adjust my canvas size depending on what I draw but I usually draw on 4000x4000 px at 300dpi. Dpi represents how something will print, so if you don’t plan on printing, 72dpi is usually the default suggested by art programs. Btw 4kx4k is GIANT but that’s bc I like to draw many pics on one canvas :-)  Plus bigger is better w digital so that if you shrink down (resize) it’s harder to see the mistakes! Sneaky!!
