Dropping into The Stanley was a common routine for Chia. Propped at the hotel bar, a hefty sigh heaved from her chest when Zen came to a stop beside her. She didn’t know how long he had been a thorn in her side, she had lost count all the way back in New York. “Great, just what I wanted. Company.” she said with a flat tone, poking her cheek with her tongue to ease the tension in her jaw. He hadn’t even said a word and was already annoying her. “Don’t you have something better to do, Zen? Like being Quinlan’s little murder toy?”

Idk if it’s just me but I love it when people incorporate kokichi actually listening and working with characters that get dismissed by the rest of the group, namely Gonta (I do believe they were actually friends at some point, as close to friendship someone so paranoid and distrustful like kokichi can get ig) and Miu (actually taking her talent seriously and working with her while the others seemed to just see her as vulgar and rude) into their content, be it fanart or fan fiction, really makes you see why his talent is all about leadership, you have to take everything at stake seriously, consider every variable, and he did, even though it doesn’t seem like it at first glance (most of the things he did, he did them for “the greater good” imo)

In case you wondered why I've been a bit quiet this week (apart from being sick), I was hanging out at the Afterlife with my old friend Johnny!

But no xD I had the pleasure to have gotten invited to a CDPR cosplay community event yesterday and took my 75% finished Mullet Kerry for a test run 😁 Once again I was floored by how amazingly creative and loving and supportive this community is irl as well, met friends again, met fantastic new people and had an amazing and inspiring day \o/

Couldn't resist drawing a cover for Tales of Mirrors, even though I didn't end up using it in the binding of the book. Revisiting these old original characters after roughly 14 years was really fun, and it reminded me how far I've come. This is the kind of stuff past me was attempting to make but didn't have the skills for yet! Adding some of my old art for this novel below the cut. Also, did you spot the familiar face?

A little late to the party, but I managed to finish my first art fight attack of this year! Stray in his pine marten form for @cassdoodles

Isn't he just gorgeous I knew I had to paint him when I saw his ref ;_;

The mossy log was referenced from a photo from pixabay, the rest of the background and the character/ pose were loosely referenced from parts of various images found on google. The clouds were reffed from my own pic that I (by chance) took on the very same day I started this painting. The bg refs were all more or less sunny, but it's definitely much easier to make sunny ones dull than the other way around XD
