Description as of July 13th: I dunno, Hojo makes me wanna find someone’s grandpa and get filthy with him on the retirement home floor. Random shit I typed out because Hojo deserves a hoe. Written cause I obviously deserve to be the one sending him pussy pics. 

I started writing this a while ago and never expected to finish because of Vincent but it was only due to a post I’ll put at the end

*Hojo x Reader (Hints of SephirothxReader and ReevexReader)*

Having an arsenal of explicit pictures to blow up Hojo’s phone is a Hopefully our favorite sick fuck is in the middle of another meeting. Propping your phone up and setting the timer, you quickly get into position. Bending over, pressing your hand into the bed to keep yourself balanced, bringing your knee on the bed as though you were about to start climbing in, the other arm coming around to spread your ass open. Taking nudes is hard work, if only Sephiroth would help, but then he’d ask what they’re for considering he isn’t today's recipient. 

The sound of the camera shuttering grants you permission to move out of your pose. Grabbing your phone to admire your handy work, making a mental checklist of what you wanted to send him. 

He couldn’t possibly be doing anything decent with his time anyhow. A new test subject? Dissecting one of his recently passed abominations? Another meeting with Rufus that Hojo couldn’t care less about? He would be playing on his phone or tablet despite the urgency of any meeting as long as it doesn’t regard his research. These are all perfect times to toy with your beloved psychopath.

With your wonderful timing, not at all due to snooping through Hojo’s belongings while he left you in his home alone, you’ve spotted his schedule. So you know he’s just in another shitty meeting. You feel the need to brighten up his day, sending a multitude of explicit pictures to his phone. 

Don’t forget a little something for Reeve. Who would surely be sitting next to Hojo as always. You knew he couldn’t help but glance at whatever Hojo may have been doing next to him. You also know Reeve happened to see a few of these messages before. A video of you splayed out on the bed. Legs wide open as you lazily tease your fingers over your entrance, aimlessly dancing around your clit, teasing yourself for their excitement. Your moans are captured on the recording as you give in and apply pressure to your clit, rubbing yourself in a way that causes you to lose yourself in a daze of lust until your coming undone. Shoulders pressing into the bed as you arch your back at the sensation of your orgasm wracking your body. 

This is going to make for a wonderful distraction from their meeting. 

*Vincent x Reader* (yea you’re with avalanche and co)

So you finally convinced the man to get a phone. Something you've been encouraging him to do but hasn't come into fruition until now. It was a bit of a silly reason maybe. Often not being able to fall asleep most nights, constantly awake until the break of dawn. A few of these occasions you had the convenience of coming across Vincent during your night time prowls of whatever town you and the gang. These nights he would keep you company, sometimes sneaking into your room with you. Holding you until you fall asleep for the night before slinking away before the other girls woke up. 

Your selling point was your inability to contact him the nights he wasn’t conveniently lingering around. Begging him with not only your words, but your eyes. There was no way Vincent could say no to that sad puppy dog face you gave him. 

The only problem being he could hardly use the damn thing. Technology has appeared to change a lot in the span of time Vincent’s spent in his coffin. The one thing he could do was answer calls. Other than that, the screen seemed hardly cooperative and he couldn’t tell what a majority of these silly bright icons were needed for.

What Vincent knew for sure was that you sent him a message. How to check it when you were nowhere near to guide him through the process? No worries, Vincent is sure Cloud can help. 

Bringing the tiny device to Cloud, stating his problem, asking if he could teach him how to view his messages. Unlocking the phone and navigating to your latest message caused Cloud to practically choke. Never in a million years did our spikey blonder warrior expect to see one of his comrades spread out like a meal. Cloud tried to tear his eyes away, but he can’t, and now he’s certain he’s seen much more of you than god has. 

As Cloud’s face turns a dangerous shade of red, eyes widening at the content he was incidentally provided with, Vincent can’t help the rising curiosity. Rounding Cloud so he could peak over his shoulders, nearly gasping at the sight of his phone. Without hesitating another moment Vincent snatched the phone out of Cloud’s hand. Frowning in displeasure as he tucked the phone into his back pocket. 

“So you were just going to stare?” 

Cloud’s reply was sheepish, not even making the slightest effort to hide how his gaze lingered over the images far longer than what anyone would be comfortable with. “I uh…Sorry.” 

Vincent would handle you later. You might like it or you might love it. 

*Tseng x Reader (more meeting nudes? Pre-existing relationship?)*

Cheesy? Cliche? Yea this is that but so are all of them.

Tseng just looks so bored during this meeting, obviously lost in thought as he tries to focus on the words Rufus proudly proclaims his vision for the future of Shinra. Again. Giving out the same bullshit speech about how things will change within the company now that his father is out of the picture. Being ‘flamboyantly Rufus’ as ever. You were tired of it too.

Shifting your gaze from Rufus you look back at Tseng, greedily taking in his gorgeous features. The gods really need to justify making a man so fine. 

Unprofessional, Tseng would call you at least for pulling out your phone during a time like this. Not that you cared, scrolling through your gallery for the pictures you took recently. Images of you clad in nothing but the lingerie Tseng picked out for you on a mission in Junon. The lacy undergarments caught his attention while passing by one of the many shops littering Junon. 

Of course he wanted to see you in them, but the two of you haven’t been able to find much time together outside of quickies and sleep. So what would be a better time than now? Selecting an array of photos, sending them off to Tseng, not even attempting to hide your obvious staring. 

You knew the second he got your message, diverting his eyes away from the meeting to glance at his phone in a “discreet” manner. Waiting patiently for his reaction, watching as his face reddened and eyes immediately dart up to meet your mischievous smirk. 

Two could play this game. Your phone vibrating in your lap instantly catches your attention, nearly losing at your own game as you suppress a squeak of surprise at the images and videos flooding your phone. It doesn’t matter that you’ve seen these before, hell you were the person to take all of those pictures of Tseng seeing as how he wouldn’t take any risky pictures on his own plus you insist he needs something to entertain himself with while he’s away.

The videos? Those were new, watching as he teasingly rubbed his cock in front of the camera. The angle was awkward and you could tell he felt equally as off while taking the video. The visual of him drawing a deep, shaky breath captivating you further. 

In your distraction you hadn’t noticed Rufus’ ceased his rant to shoot a glare your way. Clearing his throat, Rufus demands you stay after the meeting to see what’s got your attention and to figure out what could possibly be more important than the current events. 

That comment snatched any smugness Tseng had for topping the content you sent him away. Replaced with a look of horror that anyone would have noticed if their attention were on him. The only thought racing through his mind is of Rufus discovering the pictures shared between them. Guess he would have to find out what happened with that situation when you get home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beloved husbird!!! And happy 20th anniversary to Sly 2: Band of Thieves; the game I was weirdly hesitant to play all those years ago, only for it/my love for Arpeggio to change the course of my life (no, really) and become my favorite video game of all time! ❤️

Sadly, we lost Sam Mowry, Arpeggio’s voice actor, back in July. While I had the idea to redraw this scene of Arpeggio saying his “iconic” line prior to Mowry’s passing, I realized upon completing this that it may serve to commemorate his role as Arpeggio’s voice. 🤍🕊️

I even made a lil video including Arpeggio’s voice clip! I have all of Arpeggio’s voice files handy thanks to someone on the Sly Cooper Amino, when I was active there several years back. 1847 – Eliza McCormick of Ontario is arrested after posing as a man and proposing marriage to a woman. A Hartford, CT newspaper dubs her “a female Lothario” for living as a man. McCormick had taken on a male persona for two to three years and during this time had at least six courtships, three to whom she proposed and was accepted. One of these women, a dressmaker, even made her own wedding dress. According to The Transgender Foundation of America’s (TFA) Archive in Houston, Texas, social shame was used to force McCormick to conform to typical gender norms after McCormick was jailed.

1887 – On this date, playwright George Kelly (d.1974) was born in Philadelphia. Although better known as the uncle of the future Princess Grace of Monaco, Kelly was a successful Broadway playwright, screenwriter, director, and actor. Kelly won the Pulitzer Prize in 1925 for his play "Craig's Wife." The play served as the basis for the 1950 Joan Crawford film "Harriet Craig." Notable actors who appeared in works by Kelly include Alison Skipworth, Josephine Hull, Lee Tracy, Tallulah Bankhead, Spring Byington, Joan Blondell, Ina Claire and Rosalind Russell.

1921 – Fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo was born (d.2004). Best known for his work on the covers of Cosmopolitan Magazine and his celebrity portraits, Scavullo big break was working at Vogue magazine under well-known fashion photographers Cecil Beaton, John Rawlings, and Horst P. Horst. But the major turning point in his career came in 1965 when Cosmopolitan editor Helen Gurley Brown hired him to help develop a new and sexier image for the magazine. With free rein to select the models, wardrobe, make-up, and hair styling, Scavullo successfully created the image of the modern day Cosmo girl.

Scavullo was also responsible for the famous Cosmopolitan centerfold of a nude Burt Reynolds. Scavullo would go on to shoot every Cosmopolitan cover over the next three decades. 1933 – The American essayist, novelist, filmmaker, and activist Susan Sontag was born on this date (d.2004). Sontag was one of the most important public intellectuals of the last half of the twentieth century. Her published works include On Photography and Against Interpretation. Sontag wrote frequently about the intersection of high and low art and the form/content dichotomy across the arts. Her celebrated and widely-read 1964 essay "Notes on 'Camp'" was epoch-defining, examining an alternative sensibility to that which considers the best art in terms of its seriousness. It gestured towards and expounded the "so bad it's good" concept of popular culture for the first time.

1980 – Justin Johnson, known by his stage name Alyssa Edwards, is an American drag performer, choreographer, and businessperson. Johnson was known for competing in drag pageantry (notably Miss Gay America 2010) before rising to national prominence on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Johnson lives in Mesquite, Texas, where he owns and runs an award-winning studio, Beyond Belief Dance Company. Johnson and his dance studio are the centerpieces of a new web-series, "Haus of Edwards", which premiered in late 2017.

Johnson performs under the stage name Alyssa Edwards. He chose his name in homage to Alyssa Milano and to his drag mother Laken Edwards, a former drag queen. 1993 – Jack Merridew is an American author and YouTube personality. He is well known for his light hearted storytime videos.

Merridew was born on January 16, 1993 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Parkland High School and Ithaca College with a degree in screenwriting.

Merridew began posting videos on YouTube in 2012, reaching one-hundred thousand subscribers by January 2015 and has since garnered more than 370,000 subscribers. KISS is an iconic rock band known for their elaborate stage makeup, flashy costumes, and energetic performances. Formed in the 1970s, they're recognized for hits like "Rock and Roll All Nite." Their unique personas, like Gene Simmons' Demon and Paul Stanley's Starchild, contribute to their larger-than-life image, making them a significant influence on the glam metal genre.

3. The O.C.

4 years later and I'm back. It's safe to say that I'm somewhat of an expert at this show. I rewatch it at least twice a year. Let me just say CINEMATIC ART. Josh Schwartz actually ate down with this one. Okay here's my little spoiler warning -> SPOILERS AHEAD

The first episode is probably one of the best pilot episodes I've ever seen. From the beginning we get angst, we get drama, we get humor. Ugh it's just SO SO GOOD. Like are you joking? I can't even comprehend my thoughts I love this show. "Who are you?" "Whoever you want me to be." LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING. The soundtrack was iconic. The fashion, iconic. Some of the most quotable things. It was the perfect amount of drama for a teen show without going over the top (sorry Riverdale) and it was just so funny.

Character Review:

Marissa Cooper wasn't the worst person in the world, she was just hella misunderstood with a wacky mom and family. She is the human embodiment of a cry for help. Her mother is as they say - Julie Cooper. Although she loves her daughter, she loves status more. Some of her ideas were great, they just lacked in execution. And I know Marissa could be a pain, but she just needed help and love. She should've gotten that psychiatric help. But alas, she stays to add fuel to the fire. What is a teen drama without drama. She is such a nuanced character and I will not stand for the slander (maybe some but like SHE'S NOT ALL BAD CMOONN) She definitely did not deserve to leave the way she did. #rip

Ryan Atwood, the ultimate broody bad boy who's really a softie at heart. Literally could not catch a break. Went to jail (bc his brother wanted to steal a car) His girlfriend shot his brother (and we got a hilarious SNL skit out of it), burned down a staging home (luke's fault but still), got a girl pregnant (allegedly) and then she miscarried (lies), fell in love with Marissa (#rip) always felt like he had to fix everything for everyone (his downfall) became a cage fighter (cuz Marissa #rip) got kicked out of school senior year (cuz of Marissa #rip) came back to school (yay!) (my timeline if fked). I know his need to fix everything for everyone came from having to lock in throughout his childhood, but alas (again) where would the show be without it. Marissa was his real true love, no matter how toxic it was. They were literally written for each other. And super unpopular opinion but his relationship with Taylor near the end was cute! It might've been just what he needed. He was funny unintendedly and I loved the ongoing lore that he couldn't lie to save his life. and he was hot. NEXT

Seth mfking Cohen. I think the thing that got me was that he was just hella charming. He was a little shit, but his charm and humor got him through the show without being absolutely insufferable. Like all characters, he has his flaws but his character was there to make sure we weren't dark and gloomy all the time. I truly hope that after the time jump, he actually became a real person and not just a funny spoiled brat who is now an adult and married the love of his life. Now that I think about it, he didn't ever really have a true character arc, but at least he was goofy and funny. He's a perfectly imperfect character who has a purpose and executes it flawlessly.

Summer Roberts, loml. My favorite character of the series. From season 1, she has an EXPONENTIAL character arc. She turns from certified mean girl to a certified baddie with a heart as big as the sun. She always ate down with her outfits, had insane one liners, and was the one girl to always LOCK INNN when they needed her. When she actually ended up being a genius, I was OBSESSED. I liked how they approached this storyline as opposed to how Glee did it with Brittany. NO NOTES!

My favorite episode of the whole show was the one where they got locked in the mall after sorting clothes for the clothing drive. I love love love when shows do something fun to balance out the dread and drama. Them rolling around with the hockey masks looking like Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th was funny asf.

Rating: 9/10

minus 1 because (shockingly) i did not enjoy season 3. I didn't hate season 4 as much as everyone else, but the most insufferableness occurred during season 3 for me. Like Marissa's public school arc. Like Volchek (UGH) Like Johnny. #rip johnny but like BRUH CHILL OUT> However all the other points because of my favorite tv dad Sandy Cohen for saving the day (except when he cheated on his wife, that was so not cool sandy).

okay. in all honesty i think this is one of those books (e.x. song of achilles) that would tear most people apart but have had little effect on me in the moment (maybe i should’ve had rose write this one, hm?). but i can still say, with my whole heart, that the emotions and raw devotion portrayed in this book is real. holy shit is it real. it’s in the iconic, recurring lines and unwavering trust. in the fears shared and planes flown and the wondering wondering wondering. in the split-second decision made for the sake of “i will save you”. but they’ve done their parts. julie has written the truth, maddie has flown the plane. and forever, a part of her is buried in lace and roses, stuck in the climb, unflyable.

What is International Moon Day?

International Moon Day is an annual day dedicated to the Earth’s one and only natural satellite, the Moon!

It is held every year on July 20, which is the anniversary of the day on which astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin famously set foot on the Moon in 1969.

The Moon landing is still considered one of humanity’s greatest achievements.

International Moon Day is all about commemorating the Apollo 11 mission while teaching people about the Moon and astronomy.

Significance of International Moon Day

• The General Assembly declared International Moon Day, a United Nations-designated international day to be observed annually on July 20, in its Resolution 76/76 on “International cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space” in 2021.

• International Moon Day marks the anniversary of the first landing by humans on the Moon as part of the Apollo 11 lunar mission.

• The celebrations will also consider the achievements of all States in the exploration of the Moon and raise public awareness of sustainable Moon exploration and utilization.

History of International Moon Day

• American astronauts Neil Armstrong, and Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin became the first humans in history to land on the Moon on 20 July 1969.

The grand Apollo 11 mission took place eight years after the national goal announcement by President John F. Kennedy to send a man to the moon by the end of the 1960s.

• The idea for the mission to send astronauts to the moon started when President Kennedy appealed to a special joint session of Congress in 1961, stating:

“I believe this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to Earth.”

• At the time of Kennedy’s proposal, the United States was still head-to-head with the Soviet Union in advancements in space exploration and, since it was during the time of the Cold War, the proposal was welcomed.

The first unmanned Apollo mission was initiated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), after five years of effort and hard work by their international team of engineers and scientists.

The first mission served as a testing phase for the structural resilience of the launch spacecraft vehicle.

• At 9:32 A.M. on 16 July 1969, the whole world witnessed Apollo 11 take off from Kennedy Space Center with three astronauts on board — Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins.

Neil Armstrong was the commander of the mission.

The spacecraft entered the lunar orbit after three days, on July 19.

The lunar module, Eagle, disengaged from the main command module the next day, manned by Armstrong and Aldrin.

When Eagle touched the lunar surface, Armstrong radioed his historical message to Mission Control in Houston, Texas:

“The Eagle has landed.”

• At 10:39 P.M., Armstrong exited the lunar module and made his way down its ladder.

His progress was being recorded by a television camera attached to the module, transmitting signals back to Earth, where the world was watching with bated breath.

• At 10:56 P.M., Armstrong stepped on the moon’s powdery surface, and spoke his iconic words:

“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

NITA STRAUSS Announces Second Solo Album, 'The Call Of The Void'

ALICE COOPER guitarist Nita Strauss will release her sophomore solo album, "The Call Of The Void", on July 7 via Sumerian Records. The LP's latest single, "The Golden Trail", featuring a guest appearance by IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Fridén, can be streamed below.

Regarding the album's title, Strauss shared: "Have you ever been at the top of a high building and had the fleeting thought, '… I could jump right now?' This feeling is sometimes called 'The Call Of The Void,' also known as 'high place phenomenon.' It's not a suicidal impulse, rather the exact opposite — a subconscious decision to live your life, to step back from the ledge, and take control. As researcher April Smith aptly put it: 'An urge to jump affirms the urge to live.'

"I wanted the follow-up to 'Controlled Chaos' to be exciting, new, and fresh, to take listeners to a new place and take myself somewhere new as an artist too. We have some amazing collaborations on this album with incredible musicians, as well as the instrumental guitar music that first inspired me to play.

"Some pieces of music come into the world gracefully and easily. This album is not one of them! 'The Call Of The Void' was born kicking and screaming, a labor of love for sure, but also of blood, sweat and plenty of tears. I couldn't be more proud of the end result. Making this album helped me learn and grow so much as a musician and songwriter and I'm excited to finally unleash it on the world."

On the collaboration with Fridén, Strauss said: "When I was first learning how to play guitar, IN FLAMES were my BEATLES, my first favorite band. Anders's iconic vocal style is burned into my mind! To write a song like this and have him sing on it, as a kid who grew up with IN FLAMES posters on my walls, is an absolute dream come true."

"It was a lot of fun to collaborate with Nita on 'The Golden Trail'," added Fridén. "She's an amazing guitar player and I can hear the history of metal flowing through her fingers."

"The Golden Trail" is the fourth song Nita has released featuring a star guest vocalist, the first being the enormously successful "Dead Inside" which featured guest vocals from DISTURBED's David Draiman and saw Nita become the first-ever solo female to have a No. 1 hit at Active Rock radio. She also returned to her instrumental roots last year with the release of single "Summer Storm", a fast-paced, emotive shred-fest. In October 2022, Nita dropped "The Wolf You Feed", an epic headbanger of a track featuring the insane vocal talent of Alissa White-Gluz of ARCH ENEMY. This past March, Strauss released "Winner Takes All", featuring a guest appearance by Alice Cooper.

Back in February 2022, Nita told SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" about her upcoming LP: "It's gonna be half and half — six tracks with vocalists and six tracks of instrumental [music]. We've been doing ['Dead Inside'] live on the solo tour and it's been getting a super-good reaction from our crowds."

In early December 2022, Nita told "The Mistress Carrie Podcast" about her decision to make the upcoming LP half vocal songs and half instrumental: "I did feel, and the label and everybody agreed, it's still important for me to keep my identity as a guitar player and not just branch off too much and go, 'Okay, well, now it's just guests.' Let me still have a little of what makes me me, which is the instrumental shred stuff. And the instrumental pieces that I've written on this record are, I think, better than anything I did on the first one — definitely more… I don't know if it could be more emotional but they're very emotional pieces of music and I think a little better crafted this time around. So I think all the songs in general are more well thought out, better put together this time around. And I do have some of my absolute favorite [singers guesting on it]. I have three amazing powerhouse female vocalists on this album so far."

Nita released 2018's "Controlled Chaos" to mass acclaim from fans and media alike, with Metal Injection calling it "a great debut that — as its creator intended — leaves no doubt", and Guitar World stating "'Controlled Chaos' is a panoramic view of Nita Strauss's many strengths".

In March, it was announced that Nita would return to Alice's band for his 2023 tour.

The Alice Cooper North American tour, with an all-new show dubbed "Too Close For Comfort", kicked off in late April in Michigan and will continue through late September, including a handful of August stadium shows with DEF LEPPARD and MÖTLEY CRÜE, followed by a co-headlining late summer "Freaks On Parade" tour with Rob Zombie.

Nita spent eight years playing with Alice before joining Demi Lovato's band last summer,

Strauss played her first full live show with Demi in August 2022 at the Grandstand at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois.

Nita made her live debut with Demi in July 2022 with a performance of "Substance" on ABC's Emmy Award-winning late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".

Strauss had been playing with Cooper since 2014 when she replaced Australian musician and former Michael Jackson player Orianthi. She joined Alice in time for a mammoth MÖTLEY CRÜE tour. She was recommended to Cooper by the legendary rocker's former bass player and WINGER frontman Kip Winger.

Horror Of ‘Firestorm’ Introduced By Europe’s Deadliest Bombing Raid 80 Years Ago

Operation Gomorrah, a combined British and U.S. raid on the port city of Hamburg left unimaginable destruction and a problematic legacy.

Britain’s King Charles recently visited the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, in eastern England, to pay tribute to the veterans of Bomber Command, who took the air offensive to the heart of Nazi Germany during World War II. The focal point of his visit was the 80th anniversary of the legendary Dambusters raid in May 1943. This daring — and very costly — raid, which has near-iconic status in the United Kingdom, is very much how the country likes to remember Bomber Command’s contribution to victory over Hitler’s Germany. The Dambusters’ targets were dams in the industrialized Ruhr region, their aim to diminish Germany’s ability to produce armaments.

Less well-remembered is another raid, or series of raids, which took place two months later, in July 1943, 80 years ago this week. This was Operation Gomorrah, and it brought destruction on a terrifying scale to the port city of Hamburg in northern Germany.

While the bombing of Hamburg in July 1943 actually involved six separate raids, including direct cooperation by RAF Bomber Command and the U.S. Army Air Forces’ Eighth Air Force, the raid on the night of July 27-28 was the most devastating. It killed around 20,000 in a single night. By comparison, the most lethal night of the German Luftwaffe’s Blitz offensive against London in 1940-41 killed around 1,400 people. No other single Allied air attack in the European Theater of Operations during World War II would come close.

Operation Gomorrah — its name grimly appropriate, for the biblical city destroyed by God with fire and sulfur — represented a change in tactics for Bomber Command and it would also usher in new technical developments, including the use of radar-spoofing chaff countermeasures. Meanwhile, the combination of high-explosive and incendiary bombs, placed accurately over a given residential area, would introduce the world to the terror of the firestorm.

Initially, the RAF had sent its bombers against mainly industrial targets in Germany, hoping to have an impact on the production of weapons as well as hinder other war-critical functions. But at this stage, the ability of aircraft to put their bombs onto such targets with the required accuracy meant much of this was a wasted effort, taking a very heavy toll on aircrews.

The thinking of the British war-planners began to change. Where once an individual munitions factory might have been targeted, for example, the next logical step was to attack also the entire area surrounding such a factory. Finally, the target was extended to the workers that this factory relied upon. This meant launching raids against the sprawling residential areas of the cities where these civilians lived.

A joint decision by the British War Cabinet and the Air Staff in 1942 called for the targeting of “the morale of the enemy civil population — in particular the industrial workers.” The RAF would achieve this by launching massed raids against German cities with populations over 100,000. The aim of the ‘area bombing’ campaign was to kill and make homeless workers, disrupting industrial output while also sapping civilian morale — although this last one is something the Luftwaffe had singularly failed to do when targeting British civilians in 1940-41.

By 1943, Bomber Command had assembled a powerful fleet dominated by modern heavy four-engine bombers — Avro Lancaster, Handley Page Halifax, and Short Stirling — and was ready to put the new strategy into practice.

5. is there a muse you really want to try? if yes: what’s stopping you?

I'm officially writing Lauren Colby from the original Dynasty now, despite the fact that only like me, myself, and I even know who she is, so let's see. I wish that I could write some of my other favorite characters from various shows like Judith Ryland from the reboot of DALLAS, Edie Britt from Desperate Housewives, Julie Cooper from The O.C., etc. I just don't think I could find their voice well enough to keep them in character and write them the way they deserve to be written. I've had to learn the hard way that just because I love a character a whole lot, it doesn't necessarily mean I would be any good at writing them. Then there's also the unfortunate fact that a lot of my favorite shows are ones people from today either don't know anything about or simply just don't write for, but ah well.

I also super duper lowkey want to write an OC Vampire Diaries muse who would be Tyler Lockwood's sister, but that's only because the actress who played Carol Lockwood is back on The Young and the Restless.

7. describe your favorite relationship dynamic. (can be any kind, platonic, romantic, familial, antagonistic, etc.)

That's easy. My favorite relationship dynamic of all time will forever be familial. Mothers and daughters are probably at the tip top of my list, followed closely by fathers and daughters, siblings, etc. Romantic relationships would probably come in second place after all of that, and it's even more fun when the romantic ones eventually turn into new little families. Yeah. I don't know why. I just very much enjoy writing any and all aspects of family.

11. describe your ideal outcome/endgame for the muse you are currently writing. if you are a multimuse blog: do this for your current favorite muse, or the muse of the last reply you posted.

Scarlett Eleanor Ewing is my favorite and the one whose life I have most planned out, so I guess I'll do this one for her. Being married isn't a part of her life she can picture, but the more years I write her, the more I want to see her trying to navigate an actual marriage. So yeah, I guess my ideal endgame would be for her to be either President or Vice President of Ewing Global and either married or divorced with at least one child. I want her to be happy and healthy, despite everything I've put her through to get to that point lol. She's still hella confident and entitled, but some things aren't ever going to change, no matter what.

12. what roleplay trends do you remember from the year you started tumblr rp? how did you feel about those trends?

You know you're officially getting old when you don't even remember but like one or two of the trends from that year. I feel like it was 2011 or sometime around then, and groups were where it was at back then. I joined a small handful, and they were okay. Just like everything else, they had their fair share of pros and cons. I also remember people used gifs more than they did icons back in those days, and I didn't mind that part at all. Sometimes it can be more fun to use gifs, as long as they aren't huge and stretch all the way across your reply, especially when you're scrolling through on a mobile dashboard.

14. which roleplay community has been your favorite to write in?

I know everyone is probably expecting me to say DALLAS, and while it certainly is one of my favorites, I also need to give a shoutout to the soap opera world. I made so many friends in that genre back in the day, some of which I'm still in close contact with today. We've just had so much fun together over the years, and tbh it's part of the reason why I've had so much muse for Lauren Colby and Serenity Scorpio lately. One of my old friends lured me back to RP.ME ( a.k.a. MySpace 2.0 ), and I've officially fallen back down the rabbit hole(s).
