♡ my notion took me a month to make. It's a bit frustrating sometimes, but i want you to know that it's possible to have some organization in your life.

notion is meant to help you have a more organized life: trackers, goals, diary entries, anything can be turn into a notion page and i'm here to teach you how. ♡

ps: sorry for being so long and with some typos and whatnot ♡

♡. 1st step: the choice of an aesthetic.

it's important to have an idea when you start your notion;

for me, i wanted a place cozy and warm that reminded me of spring.

my main color is green. and with that defined, i started looking for color palettes with the types of green that i liked the most.

(i used this website, but any is good enough. it's just to give you an idea of what you're going to work with.)

i chose an aesthetic more gloomy, academic, and obviously green, (for my main layout, a retro blue-ish layout for my fanfics and a melancholy yellow for my original works) and with that i jumped to step 2.

♡. 2nd step: hunting images and inspiration.

pinterest, pinterest, pinterest.

i can't stress this enough. use keywords to find what you actually need.

if you're a beginner, start with notion inspo, notion [aesthetic] ideas, anything notion related. pick your favs and choose what you like most about each one:

the font, the pictures, the layout, even a small detail like an aesthetic quote design -just make sure you know what you like the most.

once you have a list of what you want, you start searching for images.

keywords i suggest are: [color] aesthetic, [color] cinematography, [color] photography, and, especially, [color] png icon.

i find it really satisfying having pngs on your notion: it gives a better sense of home and they cute, so it's a plus!

(most png aren't transperants on pinterest, so i use this app to make it a real png. now, know that it's not perfect and on dark mode might look funky, but it's worth a shot ig ♡)

for transperants images i suggest you look on tumblr. just use key-words and remember to pt 'png' at the end.

now you should be left with a small gallery of photos with the same color scheme and this takes us to step 3!

♡. 3rd step: dividers save lives.

pick one image to be the base of your notion layout.

it might be for your notion icon, header, or just a random pic laying around your notion. but make sure you only have one.

with that, go to an app that finds colors (i use this one) and pick the 3 most predominant colors! i suggest one darker, one lighter, and one in between.

this works not only as dividers but to enhance any quote or pic that you have. e.g.:

as you can see, this little dividers (size that i use: 948x8) work better than the ones provided by notion and they're easy to make. just open paint and you're done!

and once you have all the inspo, all the pics and dividers, it's time to create some art ♡

♡. 4th step: the creation of art.

is time to make pages and more pages.

now, please know that this requires lots of work, frustration and patience. sometimes the website doesn't want to collaborate and it might get a bit annoying. but know that it's totally fine to take breaks and take your time. this is something for you and you only.

i suggest you have one homepage with quick links to your other pages:

trackers, school related, hobbies, anything really.

it's your notion after all, you can do anything.

after having the number of pages you can star outlining the pages.

the beginning is always difficult and embaracing, but if you give it a try, i'm sure you will create art!

i suggest, if you do a full page, to use 4 to 6 columns. it might be a bit overwhelming at the start, but i found it easier to work with more columns and less rows. also, it's more compact which makes everything x3254 cuter.

nut you can literally do whatever you want! so here's my organization ♡

homepage (5-6 columns, 4 rows): quick links to my other 4 pages. daily routine. quick reading and writing trackers. my performances schedules and feedback. goals for the month. clock, weather, year progress bar (see end of post).

original works (4-6 columns, 2 rows): my three wips. websites that help me with writing. my progress in each work. motivational quotes.

fanfic works (4 columns): folders for each fandom with more folders for hcs, one-shots, multi-chapter and ideas. motivational quotes. goals for the year. pretty pics and quotes.

trackers (5-6 columns, 4-5 rows): media that i'm currently consuming or consumed, with details such as rating, author, and some sub-pages with my extensive thoughts.

in short !

have one big page at the beginning to help you navigate easier.

don't be afraid to had columns and rows! if there's a blank space, throw some png's and quotes at it. it always makes everything 10x cuter.

ㅤㅤ♡. 4.2 step: widgets are your best friends.

add some widgets to make it prettier ♡

i use this website. it's pretty easy and has the main widgets.

a quick google search might take you to other websites so feel free to explore ♡

♡. 5th step: a touch of magic and stardust.

the start of a new page is always frustating: what aesthetic to use? what do you put first? what if it's corny? too much quotes? so many questions and, hey!, i hear ya! it's a pain in the ass.

that's why i'm here to tell you that you will change your layout lot's of time. even if you have already in mind what you have, it's only normal to change stuff every now and then until you have the perfect page.

e.g.:

you can see how my first homepage (pic. 1) changed drastically to my current homepage (pic.2). not only the color scheme changed, but the layout itself.

more artistic pictures, cuter png's and quotes, and my homepage changed completely!

so don't be afraid of change! it is important fr ♡

you can change the font and size of the page by clicking on the three dots on the top right of your screen ♡

make your text pretty with cool symbols !!

again, just surf the internet and tumblr and i'm sure that aesthetic bios will provide you with the cute little symbols to make everything cute ♡

be creative with your picture layouts ! ♡

i personally use pinterest (frame template) and clipstudio to make prettier pictures, but i'm sure any photoshop app can give you this effect as well.

play with png's and make your notion look more alive ♡

any hanging or 2 png's similar can help with a look cleaner and more organized.

add spotify playlists (it had to be public, i'm afraid) and youtube videos for more diversity!

table view is a life changer for organizing trackers, especially books and movies ♡

ok so.

you need Bun. It's a JavaScript runtime for the server (your computer). It's what runs the little script I made that automates the booping. Copy-paste the little one-liner into your terminal of choice and hit enter.

2. download this file here. THIS IS THE BOOPINATOR!

3. You'll need a couple pieces of information. What you want to do is go to tumblr.com on a computer, then open up the developer tools. Usually Ctrl (or Cmd) + Shift + I (that's an eye). Head to the tab labelled Network.

4. With the network tab open, boop somebody! However you do it. Either by the boop button next to their name, or the paw icon on their profile. Boop somebody!

5. You should see a new entry in the Network tab labeled "boop". Click on it.

6. You should see a bunch of new tabs to the side. One of them will be named "Headers". Click on that if it isn't already selected.

7. Scroll down to where it says "Request Headers" (NOT RESPONSE HEADERS!) and copy THREE values into the boopinator.ts file you downloaded: • Your "Cookie". Copy that whole value into line 39; replace the bit where it says "YOUR COOKIE HERE" (and keep the quotes!) • Your "Authorization". Copy that whole value (including the "Bearer") into line 38; replace the bit that says "YOUR TOKEN HERE (starts with Bearer)" (and keep the quotes!) • Your "X-Csrf". Copy that value into line 85; replace the bit where it says "FIRST CSRF TOKEN" (and keep the quotes!).

I cannot stress this enough these three values are extremely sensitive and should not be shared ever.

8. In a terminal, navigate to the directory you downloaded boopinator.ts (usually with the cd command) Run: bun boopinator.ts and it *should* start going! Optional 9. You can replace the URLs at the top of the file with the URLs of the people you wanna boop. The script will choose between them at random every time it boops somebody, which is about once per second.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS you have started the boopbeam! It should now run forever, assuming Tumblr doesn't cut you off. They will eventually, your cookie will expire, but that should be good for about 1000 boops. Occasionally you'll get hit with a 429 error; the script will recover from that automatically, but any other error will cause it to stop in its tracks and wait for you to restart it. An authorization error, for example, means you need to grab those three values again (see step 7).

I've been experimenting with Firefox as a browser on the side (after using Chrome for many years), and while I'm going to try to keep using it because I know everyone says it's a better browser and that switching is easy, I want to make a few notes:

- Only 7 of my 23+ extensions had a Firefox parallel, so it's a learning curve to get used to things I no longer have. So far, I haven't found a working Xkit extension, making the Tumblr experience worse, but I'll keep trying. I miss my slider extension for adjusting screen brightness, which I have on Chrome. However, I'm grateful my password manager carried over.

- There's no Google Docs Offline extension. This isn't going to work for me, who does a ton of my work offline due to long carpooling trips, so even if I switch to using Firefox at home, I'd have to keep Chrome for this

-> Moving things between Word and Docs isn't super convenient for what I do, and I don't have Word on my laptop. Options such as wordcounter.com are an option in an emergency (I often open one such tab before a long car trip), but that's only useful for words, not working on formatting.

- I like Firefox's browser themes. One of them is an animated Spirited Away header that I really like because the URL bar is black and the top of the screen is dark. One of the problems I often have with Chrome is that I edit docs while in the dark, but extensions don't change the URL bar, which is blaringly white and distracting. I haven't tested Firefox in the dark, but I think I would like the dark bar.

-> Unfortunately, one common place I'm in the dark is on long carpool trips... and since there's no Edit Offline option, that's not as helpful as it could be. It may be helpful if I'm on a laptop in bed at night, but I haven't tested this yet.

- Was quite surprised that when I checked Firefox settings, all the "We track your data" toggles were flipped on? I thought that was the one thing Firefox was supposed to not do? (Or I'm not phrasing this properly since it may have been "We let websites use targeted ads by tracking data," or something like that).

And that's fine, I'm glad I could turn it off, but very surprising to me since all the Tumblr posts I've seen encouraging people to switch to Firefox talk about how it's so easy to move your extensions over, it does everything Chrome can do but better, and they never track your data, and so far my experience has been the opposite of this.

- I'm grateful I have a Google Doc bookmarked. All my bookmarks were easy and instant to migrate to Firefox, but because it's separate from Google (obviously), there's no easy way to access my files without having something like a bookmark.

So, instead of opening a new tab and clicking on the Google Apps menu (where I usually go to access docs or sheets), I instead access them by having one doc or sheet bookmarked, then clicking on the icon that takes you to those home pages.

I don't mind doing this because it's the same amount of clicks for me- I'm very used to having a doc, sheet, and gmail in my bookmarks bar and I recently added my calendar to bookmarks. However, if I hadn't bookmarked these before opening Firefox, I don't see any easy way to find them. I'm glad I'm tech-savvy enough to get there, but if I were not tech-savvy, I think this would be stressful for me.

- I'm not 100% sure what the point of a private Firefox browser is when people say that Firefox doesn't track your stuff. It looks like it's for cookies and history. One small (avoidable in the future) problem I had was thinking I was in the private browser when I was still in the regular browser because the colors are the same- there's just a small logo informing you if you're in the private browser.

So, if you're sharing a computer with housemates and trying to use Firefox's private browser, be careful not to get them mixed up. I think I made this mistake because the keyboard shortcut to open a new tab in Firefox is not the same as it is in Chrome, so I thought I'd opened the tab, glanced over at my second monitor, and missed the fact that it hadn't gone through.

- After I told Firefox to stop asking to be my default browser, the next time I opened it, it asked if I wanted Firefox to open my tabs for me. There wasn't a description of what this meant, such as if I'm in Chrome and right click a link to open it in a new tab, if it would open an entire Firefox browser instead of a new tab in my Chrome window.

I did not commit to this option due to me not understanding what it meant, but if that's what it would do, that would be super annoying right now. Also, that's really weird of it to basically ask to be default browser in different words (if that's what it was asking).

So, here's the main reason I wanted to make this post:

- I downloaded a new word counter because Word Counter Plus was not one of the extensions that had a Firefox parallel. I picked the 2nd most popular one (didn't see there was a more popular one 'til now).

Let me tell ya, there is nothing more horrifying than opening the draft you've been revising for weeks, highlighting, checking the word count, and seeing the number 2,940 when you're expecting 17k+ and you're in the AO3 editor box, so there's no way to recover history if I actually had deleted 14k words.

Image of my word counter extension on Firefox vs. my definitely more correct one from Google Chrome- same document, and I checked to confirm all the words were highlighted in Firefox.

Luckily, all my 17k words are still there. I'm just doing final revisions and will be done soon - trying to get from 17k words down to 15k - but I will definitely be doing this in my usual Chrome because Firefox is not up to this task.

... Okay, I just switched to using the more popular Word Count extension, and even though I followed the steps in the extension, nothing happened. I didn't get a pop-up.

-> After testing, it doesn't work correctly. I was able to open a new AO3 chapter and select a small section of text. However, it doesn't even try giving me a pop-up when I test it on the chapter with 17k words. Not a good sign that the only two word counter extensions with more than 1,000 people are unable to do this, even though the extension's page says "works for any length of text."

So far, I haven't had adblocker or captcha conflicts, though I do have to go through the usual annoyances of setting a new browser to my settings.

I also read somewhere that Firefox doesn't let you copy-paste / cut-paste because it protects your data by not saving things in your clipboard. So far, I have not encountered this problem. However, if I did, that would also be a deal-breaker because I need to highlight and move data between docs (and within my doc) on the regular.

I'm going to keep testing Firefox sometimes because I'd like to use it since people keep saying it's the best and that Google is changing stuff in June, so now's the time to switch.

Since I've only seen posts that enthuse about Firefox being easy and the best on my dash, I at least wanted to mention some of my struggles so my followers can go into Firefox with appropriate expectations if they're also hoping to do things like have an accurate word count or use Google Docs offline (especially if they're holding out to switch until June and might be caught off guard if the learning curve is harsher than expected).

So, imo:

- Chrome is still the best option for me as someone who keeps track of thousands of separate Google Docs and Sheets and likes them to be easily accessible

- My research suggests there is no possible way to edit Docs offline if using Firefox (Bad news for my multi-hour carpool life and a definite deal-breaker to switching permanently)

- The two most popular word counters were not able to handle the length of an average document (less than 60 pages in Google Docs)

-> I can continue using the Google Docs app on my phone to edit offline and then access those docs on Firefox when I'm back in Internet connection, but I'd rather use a laptop keyboard than a phone keyboard if I'm in a vehicle for 6 hours (which is a common experience in my life right now)

- I recommend testing extensions thoroughly in a practice setting before you try to use them for actual important work. I would have been SO embarrassed (and potentially fired) if I was checking a ton of articles for a client and some of them were off by 15,000 words, but I waved them through because I'd only tested the extension with small sections of words (where it seems accurate) and not long sections.

I also would have been embarrassed if I'd searched something I thought was private and then I wasn't in the private browser and it came up in my recent history.

So, I would say Firefox may not be the right browser for a writer unless they've found different tools that get around these problems, and if you want to use Firefox, take the time to get familiar with it before you do anything "serious" with it. If you have important documents to review for work, don't jump in assuming your tools will work correctly.

- so if he's hurt on the battlefield, he considers himself the least priority in the moment. he could be bleeding out and say 'no, jett needs the heal more than me'

- prepare for worrying about Sova shenanigans!!

- he's a strategic man and has training so he doesn't get hurt often, too, so it's a real problem trying to figure out when and where he's hurt

- if you yourself are a medic, you are the only person that can coerce him into letting himself come first. it's both his genuine care for you and trust of your judgement, but also a want to be close to you lol

- if you aren't a healer, you will have to strong-arm him into getting to one. this could include kiss bribes if applicable.

- and now, what if YOU were injured?

- prepare for momma bear Sova!!

- i have seen this sentiment mirrored by other Sova enjoyers and i am SO glad we agree that he is an absolute mother hen when someone he loves is injured

- depending on the severity of the injury he will react differently of course

- if it's just a little scrape or bruise, he will give an affectionate tut and clean it up for you himself

- if it's something deeper, something that broke skin or twisted a joint, he's still concerned but keeps himself calm. it will heal, you will be fine, but he doesn't like seeing you hurt.

- and now we get into the angst potential with grave injuries.

- If you got it from doing something reckless/to protect him, he will end up yelling. he can't help it, he's very stressed and it's because of how much he cares and he will apologise profusely after, but he will raise his voice and chastise you for what you did.

- however, if he thinks that it's his fault, he takes a different turn. he will apologise over and over and no matter how hurt he is, carry you to safety at any cost. he'd give up his own food and medical supplies for you if neccesary.

- in both situations, he will be hovering around you for a while after.

- he'd hold your hand and fall asleep with you, close enough to hear your heartbeat to ensure you're alive.

- he couldn't handle losing you.

@jewel116 requested some headcanons of our Alien Queen and I am here to deliver!

I also went ahead and included some Adult Mina and 18+ Mina Headcanons too. Both are below the cut and clearly stated. Warnings are posted at each header mark.

Basic Mina Headcanons

Warnings: It's as fluffy as her dang hair! (Swearing)

. Most definitely has ADHD! In class, she is constantly tapping her foot on bouncing her leg as a means of trying her best to keep focused.

. Has a collection of shirts that she has designated for sleep and loungewear because she's burned acid holes in them by accident. Sometimes she'll wear them to concerts and shows if the design is cool enough.

. Loves piggyback rides! Frequently will run and jump on the backs of the guys in the BakuSquad. Even Katsuki himself puts up with it after a while.

. While Katsuki is the 'mom' of the squad, Mina is the one everyone goes to when they need comfort. Denki will curl up in her lap after a long day, Eijiro frequently goes to her when his insecurities creep back in, Hanta shows up late at night and they talk in her room about nothing just because he doesn't want to be alone, and Katsuki, well, he shows up to her room, slams the door and complains for a solid half-hour after reading a particularly heartbreaking scene in a manga while she listens to every word and validates his feelings.

. Mina worries far more than people believe she does. Her bubbly, loud, personality usually masks it but she knows when people are lying to her about what's going on in their heads.

. Sitting properly in a chair physically bothers her. She'd much rather be hanging upside down off it.

. She lowkey likes that the boys get protective over her.

. Mina is the type of person who gets A LOT of random thoughts that pop up in her head and one of the few people who actually will engage with the sheer randomness of the ideas is Shoto. Not only does he engage, he comes up with his own! The two can talk for hours.

. Loves hosting 'spa parties' in the common area of the dorms, everyone is welcome to join.

. When road trips happen, she's making the playlists (technically, she and Kyoka switch off).

. Tries teaching Tenya, Izuku, and Shoto how to flirt. After a very embarrassing first hour, Shoto didn't learn a single thing, Izuku was only good at it when paired with Shoto and Tenya... Tenya had her SHOOK! Man has game and she made sure everyone knew!

. Has weekly meetings with Yuga where they drink tea and spill the tea.

. She is so damn ticklish. Hanta was teasing her one day, she warned him to stop, he received an elbow to the face for not listening.

. Tried to grow her hair out once but it didn't grow down... it grew OUT. Mina thought she rocked it, and she totally did but ended up having it cut back down so poor Tsyu could see in class.

. Wakes up early three days a week to practice her hand-to-hand combat with Eijiro. Mina wants to improve her technique and Eijiro needed to work on his mobility, it benefits them both.

. Just Dance is her favorite game, she dominates.

. Easily forms new interests.

. Won't admit it but she gets jealous super easily.

. Will be the first to attempt to throw hands for a friend! I HC she was picked on as a child for looking so different but it never really phased her too badly, she likes looking different but understands that not everyone thinks like she does. So, if someone were to say something about Mezo's facemask, she's stepping in to defend the guy without hesitation.

. Knows every TikTok dance EVER. If a new one comes out, she's mastered it by end of the day and her account is always up to date.

. (Popular idea but important to reinforce) Mina and Eijiro co-founded a club, Horn Buddies, specifically to make Eri feel more welcome. They take her on trips and group outings. The only horned person who's not allowed to join is Pony because she was rude as heck to Mezo.

. Mina gets extra competitive over board games.

. She can ice skate and roller skate like a champ.

. Mina is resilient, dedicated, and passionate. She has goals and the girl will achieve them.

Pro Hero - Adult Mina Headcanons

. In high school, Mina's room was always decked out for the holidays. She goes decoration crazy and it is always done well. After looking at the little desk next to your bed, you automatically check if you haven't forgotten anything. It's not like you're going anywhere special since you can't leave the hospital, but you're paranoid that you might forget to take some of your pills.

"You getting dressed up or why are you taking so long?" you hear Soobin in the hallway, right behind your door. Turning around, you walk towards the door and quickly open it; giving him a 'are you kidding me?' look that only makes him laugh.

"I was making sure I didn't forget to take any of my pills." you explain, glancing at the little desk one more time before you dedicate your attention to him.

"Did you take yours?" asking him, Soobin quickly nods - as always.

"If I didn't I wouldn't be standing here." he chuckles, referring to how you refuse to hang out with him in the hospital unless he takes his pills. It may sounds stupid, but you wanna make sure he doesn't forget it since it's important.

"Yeah yeah, you can thank me someday." jokingly rolling your eyes at him while laughing, Soobin just nods because he knows he could really thank you. It's not like he'd forget to take his pills all the time, but you making sure he is okay is enough to thank you. Well, at least 'okay' under your circumstances.

"Anyways, are you done now?" the boy leaning at the door raises an eyebrow at you and you nod, one second later on your way to your place already. There's nothing really special here since it's nothing but a hospital. But as you and Soobin got closer, the end of a somewhat long hallway became your place.

Precisely, the very corner of the hallway; there are big windows, so automatically a pretty view from up here. Plus, there are barely ever any people here.

To anyone else it's nothing special, really. There are barely any chairs here too, but that was never a problem to either you or Soobin. The both of you preferred to sit on the floor and lean against the giant windows as you talk about the weirdest stuff. In other words; this is the only comfort place you've ever had, in your entire life.

"Hellooo?" Soobin says as he waves his hand in front of your face, since you're clearly busy thinking about something.

"Might as well tell me what you're thinking about?" he looks at you with a little smile, now in fact a bit curious.

"Every time we come here I get major flashbacks. You don't?" you end up asking him, frowning.

"I do, but I'd rather avoid thinking about some of them considering how awkward we were at the very beginning." Soobin laughs before he looks outside, the view from up here looking extra beautiful. He used to be scared of heights, until he came here.

"Okay, you're not wrong." you admit, especially now thinking back on the very beginning.

Don't get attached you thought to yourself back then and thinking back on it, at the time you met Soobin it was safe to say you were a completely different person.

You sigh at this whole 'don't get attached' thing, causing Soobin to look at you.

"What?" he tilts his head but you only shake your head, making Soobin sigh now.

"I told you I'm thinking about back then." you chuckle, but he doesn't really buy it. Well, a bit of it, but there's more to it.

"You know, I might be dying but I'm not that stupid." he jokes, knowing you were thinking about something again. This time more than just flashbacks.

"You're kinda wrong." giving him a warning look causes him to look at you in confusion.

"We are dying." you correct him playfully and end up laughing with him.

"I mean as long as it's happening slowly." you add, chuckling at your own joke.

"Then I guess we're good." you end up sighing, knowing that you're everything but 'good' when it comes to your health. Snapping out of your thoughts, you blink a few times when your vision gets slightly blurry.

Shaking your head and hoping that that was nothing, Soobin spots a couple outside - looking happier than ever. So only naturally he focuses on them walking and laughing. And when you look outside, seeing the two as well, you know what's going through Soobin's mind right now.

"Hey." lightly kicking his leg so he would look at you, you chuckle.

"Don't make that face." shaking your head at him, Soobin shortly laughs and didn't even notice he was making 'that face' again.

The face when he thinks about how unfair the world is and how unfair it is that you two are basically locked in here. The face when Soobin thinks about how one day, one of you is going to leave the other one. Although he tries to never think about stuff like that, these kind of thoughts just appear out of nowhere every now and then.

"How do you do that?" Soobin asks you all of a sudden and you can only look at him in confusion.

"How do you stay so..positive? I've only been here for a year and considering you-" before he can say anything else, he quickly cuts himself off. He's still scared to say something wrong, just like the first day you met.

"I told you it's okay to talk about it." you remind him with a little smile. Something about him being extra carefully when talking about you being locked in here for almost your whole life warms your heart.

"I know. But seriously, how can you stay-" he wants to go back to the actual question, but gets cuts off by you this time.

"This 'positive'? I can assure you that I'm not." you let out a short laugh, receiving a somewhat surprised look from him. From one second to another, the mood completely changed. Without saying a thing, Soobin waits for you to continue.

"I've been here almost my whole life. It's just that I've found a better way to deal with it I guess? If joking about it counts." laughing at yourself again, you look at Soobin again, who is definitely not in the mood to laugh. So quickly, your smile fades again.

"Look, I can't assure that these..thoughts are going to leave at one point, although I really wish I could." you start speaking again and move a bit closer to him.

"But- as 'basic' at it may sound, it gets better. I promise." nodding at him, he lightly nods back at you too.

Assuring him made you think about yourself and these thoughts. You remember not thinking abour dying just as good as you remember death being all you could think about. You've been there. In Soobin's case it's probably different though.

He's a lot more positive than you, at least more than you were when he came here. Not because he's joking around a lot, but because he's just that kind of person. He doesn't seem like one who gives up fast. You wonder if he even knows how healing his existence alone is.

Maybe not physically, but for sure mentally. Soobin has helped you in ways you didn't even think were possible. And you wonder if he is aware of that or ever will be.

"Sorry, I just thought.." without finishing his sentence, you know what he means and you just shake your head.

"It's fine." you assure him, a second later your vision getting a bit blurry again. So just like earlier, you blink a few times so it'd go away - which it thankfully does.

"You okay?" Soobin asks when he looks at you, noticing you look sort of dizzy. Considering the circumstances of you two, Soobin can't help but starting to worry at the smallest things.

"Yeah." you nod and looking around for a bit, checking to see if everything blurry again.

"Y/N." the boy next to you frowns, a little paranoid now.

"I'm okay, really." when you do seem okay again, you look at him.

"You know, maybe that's our sign to go back." Soobin half jokes and gets up, waiting for you to get up too.

You usually stay a lot longer here, but after you were looking dizzy he felt like it was best to go back to your rooms. Even when you give him a look that says 'let's stay here' he doesn't do anything; other than waiting for you.

"Fine." you sigh and get up, knowing it's best to go back and that Soobin is somewhat worried. It's honestly insane how much you two care for each other when you have your own worries.

On your way back you started joking and making the both of you laugh again - unkowingly doing that so Soobin would actually not worry about earlier. Not only because you don't want him to worry about you, which you know is impossible, but because you're getting worried yourself.

Sure it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't for your damn disease. This disease caused you to get paranoid at the smallest things, so it has become normal for you to overthink stuff like this.

"And now-" Soobin says when he opens the door to your room, letting you casually walk in.

"Go to sleep." he laughs, unkowingly trying to not worry too much about earlier as well.

"Woah, thank you for bringing me to bed." you sarcastically widen your eyes a little, Soobin only rolling his eyes at you.

"Guess I'll see you tomorrow again. Night." is the last thing he says before closing the door.

"Soobin! There you are." Yujin says when she comes out of another room, seeing the boy in front of your door.

Yujin is your and Soobin's nurse who honestly feels more like your mom rather than a nurse. Although he's only known her for a year, he feels like they've known each other for a long time despite the obvious age difference. In your case it's almost the same, except for the fact that Yujin basically raised you.

"Were you looking for me?" he asks with big eyes and she nods, both of them slowly walking towards Soobin's room together.

"Your daily blood draw, kid." Yujin chuckles when Soobin looks like he forgot about it.

"Right, sorry." shortly laughing, he sits down on his bed and just lets Yujin do whatever she needs to do.

"Had fun with Y/N?" she teases but instead of getting an answer to her question, Soobin seems to be remembering something.

"Ah- speaking of Y/N, she was feeling kinda dizzy earlier I think?" he starts speaking and thankfully isn't able to see Yujin's expression - more like how her expression dropped when he said that.

"She seems fine again, but I sta-" before he can finish talking, Yujin is already done and cuts him off - nicely.

"I got it, don't worry. Thanks for telling me." she assures him, making Soobin feel relieved. Before she can leave, she stops and turns to look at him again.

"Anything else I should know?" Yujin wants to know while watching Soobin getting comfortable in his bed already.

"You're the best." he casually says, like he always does. Just in a friendly way because he really appreciates Yujin.

Without further ado she makes her way to your room, which luckily isn't very far away from Soobin's. But when she comes in, all she sees is you sleeping, causing her to sigh.

"Y/N, Y/N, Y/N." lightly shaking her head at how peacefully you're sleeping, she grabs the blanket and covers you properly with it.

"I can only pray for you." she looks at you, almost like you're her own daughter.

But can you blame her? You came here at the age of 4 and now you're 17. It feels like yesterday to Yujin when you first showed up here and when you were as little as ever.

Since she doesn't want to risk you waking up, she quietly leaves again. But the thoughts of what Soobin told her clearly do not leave so automatically, Yujin somehow tries to get rid of these thoughts since she still has work to do.

Like every night, Soobin is trying to sleep when the 'don't get attached' thing he thought about a year ago. How did he go from don't get attached to falling for you? Sooner or later he knew it'd hurt more because of that.

Unlike Soobin who is apparently sleeping a little longer today, you could barely sleep and woke up early. You woke up multiple times at night, getting dizzy again. or just not overall feeling well and now that you think about it, you worry more and more.

So you figure it's best to talk to Yujin, although you'd rather avoid this conversation. Assuming that Soobin is still asleep, you get up and decide to open the door, looking for Yujin who is luckily here right now. Although you managed to get up, you did notice that your legs felt a lot heavier which made it a bit harder for you to stand, let alone talk.

"Yujin." you call out, obviously not too loud since there are other people here as well. When she sees you, she widens her eyes at first and then immediately enters your room.

"Y/N what happened?" is the first thing she asks, considering how drained out you look due to the lack of sleep.

"I couldn't really sleep and I'm not feeling well, I'm..starting to worry." you tell her, barely ever being this serious.

"I know." is her first reaction before she thinks for a moment.

"I can give you pills so you won't get dizzy anymore and feel a bit better, that's unfortunately all I can do right now sweetheart." she explains, but the first part got you wondering even though it's not that hard.

"How do you know I got-" before you can finish your question, Yujin cuts you off to give you the answer.

"Soobin is my patient too, you know." she chuckles for a moment before opening the little cupboard, looking for some pills she quickly finds and grabs.

"Here. You should feel better in a bit." Yujin assures you after handing you the pills, causing you to nod.

"I have to continue now, but Y/N. If anything, you know what to do." she gives you a somewhat warning look, not wanting that anything happens to you.

After she left you quickly take one of the pills and lay down in your bed, your vision every now and then getting blurry again. You can't really do much other than hoping it'll get better soon - especially before Soobin wakes up and ask for you.

A look at the time tells Soobin that it's almost 6 PM already and that you should probably be awake by now, so he puts his laptop away and gets up. Innocently making his way to your room. Yujin told him that you'd catch up on some sleep since you couldn't sleep that good, which is why he decided to watch random videos so time would go by faster. And oh god, he realized that it was so boring without you.

As soon as he's standing in front of your door, suddenly everything becomes worse for you. Getting dizzy again, pain in your chest and overall your whole body - but especially in your chest, which can never be a good sign.

"Y/N?" you hear Soobin's voice from the hallway, precisely right behind your door. You surely did not expect him, especially not right now.

Because you can't just lay there anymore doing nothing, you start to get up slowly. Which is definitely more difficult now that you're in pain; pain that doesn't seem like it'll go away soon. Only when you're sitting on the edge of the bed you feel your legs going numb - slowly but surely.

"Are you awake?" Soobin adds, not too loud but so that you can clearly understand him.

"Yeah." you answer, looking around the room to check if your vision is blurry again - which it clearly is.

"Yeah, I'm-" you add before trying to stand up, which is a big mistake. Because as soon as you manage to stand up for less than a second you immediately collapse, feeling like you'll lose consciousness any second.

Soobin was waiting for you to finish your sentence but after he heard something loud - which was in fact you collapsing, his eyes widen and he immediately opens the door.

And seeing you laying there, not moving at all is a sight that would haunt him for a long time.

"Y/N!" Soobin panics and runs up to you, kneeling down and lifting your head up carefully.

"Yujin! Help!" he yells, having no clue what the hell is happening right now.

"Y/N, Y/N hey." he says as he turns your head so he can look at you, noticing that your eyes aren't fully closed yet.

"Look at me, hey." feeling completely overwhelmed, the poor boy is somehow trying to keep you awake.

When you do manage to open your eyes a little more before they almost close completely again, you're able recognize Soobin in front of you.

"Soobin." you mumble, trying so hard to stay awake that you don't notice the footsetps approaching at first.

"Get her on the bed." Yujin demands and Soobin does as she says, looking at you with a look in his eyes for which there aren't any words for. If you would actually see it, it'd break your heart into millions of pieces.

From one second to another there are multiple nurses around your bed, desperately trying to do what they can to help you. Only Soobin seems to be the one who has no clue of what's going on.

"Soobin, try to keep her conscious. Can you do that?" Yujin asks in a strict tone.

"I- I think so." the boy stutters and grabs your hand, carefully turning your head again so he can look at you.

"Y/N, hey, c-concentrate on me, okay?" he nervously says and you nod weakly. As if it would try to help you stay awake, you squeeze his hand.

"Yeah, yeah good. You're doing good. Keep doing that." Soobin nods, tears slowly building up in his eyes.

A moment of silence enters. In which the nurses are trying what they can to help, Soobin being scared for his life and you finally realizing what exactly is happening again. You knew this day would come.

"This-" before you can add more, the pain in your chest causes you to cut yourself off.

"This..is my own fault." you quietly say, painfully sighing afterwards.

"What? No, why are you saying that?" he frowns, not knowing why you're blaming yourself for this. Feeling like you would be getting a bit more back to normal again, you continue.

"Soobin, I mean it. This- ah." you close your eyes again as you feel the syringe in your arm, seeming like it hurts way more than it does usually.

"Hey." he widens his eyes and you squeeze his hand again, slowly opening your eyes - a  single tear escaping now when you look at him weakly.

"I'm sorry." you say and can't help but slightly shake your head.

"Y/N." Soobin simply frowns at you, not knowing what to say.

"I'm so sorry." you add, new tears running down your face as you slowly close your eyes, as much as you try to fight it. Your body shuts completely down, which you can't do anything against. Which in fact, no one can do anything against. You're the only one who could do that, but for that you'd have to travel back in time.

"Hey- Y/N!" he panics immediately.

"We're losing her!" Yujin notes as she gives you another injection, which should hopefully make you conscious again. Due to that stupid disease she can't do much right now. Unkowingly, Soobin is the one squeezing your hand now as he holds it with both of his hands.

"Y/N." he whispers, a tear landing on the bedsheets when you don't move, nor open your eyes again.

"Y/N, come on!" Yujin desperately tries to wake you up, putting on a oxygen breathing mask with a little hope.

But nothing. Not even the injection she gave you earlier that should've helped you saying conscious. Heartbroken, Yujin stops trying and is holding back tears now. It's too late.

"No." Soobin says when he sees Yujin stop trying, realizing why she stopped.

"No. Y/N, please." turning his head to look at you again, tears are streaming down his face.

Lightly shaking his head, Soobin watches you laying there, not waking up. He always thought you had pretty eyes and right now, he would do anything so he could look at them again.

Knowing there isn't anything he can still do now, he leaves a kiss on the back of your hand. The pain Soobin feels in this moment is worse than any pain the disease has ever caused him to be in. To think that this was even possible is insane.

And exactly because he feels helpless seeing you like that, he lets go of your hand and makes his way into his room again; immediately slamming the door. Not sure what to do now, Soobin cries even more when he's all alone and knows he won't be able to stop anytime soon.

About almost an hour later of not only Soobin crying, but Yujin as well, she decides to talk to him. It's time. After she knocks on his door, she doesn't get any answer from him or any kind of reaction at all. Which is why she decides to go in, closing the door behind her again.

There she sees Soobin, sitting on his bed staring at the floor with a blank expression, looking extremely..lifeless. Although he's not crying anymore, Yujin knows he was until earlier. Just like her.

"Hey, kid." she sighs, walking up to him and putting a hand on his shoulder.

Only then Soobin notices her and slowly looks up. Just like that, the blank expression fades and he's as good as ready to burst out in tears again.

"I'm sorry." Yujin says with a sad smile. Despite the one year Soobin has been here already, she has never seen him like this. Not once.

"No, please." is his first reaction, shaking his head at her apology.

"I don't wanna hear any more 'I'm sorry's, I wanna know what happened." Soobin slightly frowns, sounding as desperate as ever.

Yujin takes a deep breath, sitting down on the edge of the bed trying to gather her thoughts.

"She was just fine yesterday." he adds, which confuses him even more.

The woman shakes her head, knowing what she's gonna tell him will hurt. Just like it hurt her back then.

"You know how long Y/N has been here, right?" she starts talking and Soobin nods.

"Since she was four." he responds, causing Yujin to be the one who nods now. Before she continues talking, she takes a little pause.

"Y/N has always been a happy girl, especially when she was younger. She used to talk about how she's gonna leave the hospital soon again and do exciting stuff. Stuff that 'normal' people do, like she'd always say." she tells him with a little smile. You used to be the happiest person she's ever known, the happiest person in this whole hospital. You would've smiled at everyone, brightening everyone's days with your happy personality.

"With the years, that hope of leaving faded." sighing, Soobin figures that this is the part he is not gonna like.

"Along with that hope, her will to fight this disease faded just as much." Yujin shakes her head when she thinks back to that time.

"So she stopped taking her pills at some point and basically refused any kind of treatment." she wipes the single tear away and looks anywhere but at Soobin.

"What?" the boy almost whispers, not really sure if he heard that right.

"What- why would she do that?" he frowns, on the verge of tears when the nurse looks at him again.

"I asked her the same thing. She said she doesn't have anything worth living for anymore, Soobin." Yujin can't help but start crying again, feeling nothing but pain in her chest when she thinks about the moment you told her that a year ago.

"No but- but when I came here sh-" before he can finish his sentence, Yujin cuts him off. He still thinks this is some kind of bad joke. You two were only friends for a year, but this doesn't sound like you. It sounds like the complete opposite of you.

"Yes, when you came here." she nods, looking at the boy with a little smile. Little by little, Soobin understands where this is going and Yujin just confirms his theory by adding something else.

"She started taking them again because of you." instead of feeling relieved that you started taking them again, - which he surely does in some way - something about what Yujin just told him causes a bigger wound in his heart.

"Do you wanna know what she said when I asked her why she started taking them again?" rhetorically asking him, Soobin quickly nods and is somewhat scared that the answer is gonna hurt even more.

"She said that she has a reason to live again. That reason was you, even to this day." and just like Yujin expected, Soobin can't help but burst out crying again after what she said. The nurse gives him a moment, in which she has to hold back her own tears one more time.

"From the moment she met you, she immediately started regretting not taking them and refusing her treatment because she knew it'd have consequences." sighing, she remembers everything like it was just yesterday.

"As soon as you entered this hospital, it was like a piece of herself came along and founds its way back to her. A piece of the happy little girl she was once." her words only make Soobin cry more, the wound in his heart getting bigger with every word Yujin says.

He simply cannot imagine you giving up. Although you were always making jokes about death, you never gave up and never wanted Soobin to give up either. So hearing that now hurts only more, feeling completely surreal.

"That's why she always made sure I never forget to take my pills, right?" he realizes, every thought of your actions causing more pain now. Yujin nods as an answer and remembers every conversation she had at nights with you. You talked about everything, but after some time you started talking to her about Soobin frequently.

"She was lucky that it..didn't happen earlier. It was like a miracle back then." Yujin notes, still wondering about why it happened just now.

"But Soobin, she was the happiest she's ever been with you. I hope you never forget that." the woman nods more to herself than Soobin since he doesn't even look at her. He needs to process what she just told him. Without adding anything else, the nurse leaves because she knows Soobin needs some alone time again.

Now it all makes sense. Your actions and your overall behaviour. Andhat's what you were sorry for earlier. You were the one who would get upset if he didn't take any of his pills, when you were the one who didn't take them for a while. How ironic. Although he would've been upset if you refused to take your pills as well, he can't be mad at you now.

Considering your circumstances, it was only natural to think about giving up every now and then, right? Unlike you back then, Soobin had a lot of things worth living for and one of them was you. Precisely, the biggest reason.

Without realizing, you two became each other's reason to fight, to be happy together while you're slowly dying.

You became each other's happiness and made sure that the other one's life was worth living, almost more than your own. And you'd always be thankful for it, as well as doing it one more time when you two meet again sometime.

But lastly, you were two hopeless teens in love, knowing the universe never gave you a chance in first place. And yet, even that didn't stop you from loving each other. Even though you never told each other, deep down you knew.

Maybe you'll have a chance in another life.

Why did you choose your url?

I use Rose consistently in my online spaces, I like musicals and for some reason my brain got stuck on “Moses Supposes (his toeses are roses)” from Singin in the Rain, and even though it’s hella long... I cba to change it. It started out as “many things” coz it wasn’t just sims then.

According to my first post, since October 2014! I was active through 2016 with TS3, then someone here introduced me to the X Files and I defected in a big way to a moderately successful fic writing blog, lurked 2019-21 and restarted here a few months back. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Having just done a forensic dive, seems I did it to rant about a friend writer being trolled in comments until she was driven off writing completely (I had a sims legacy on blogspot from early 2014) and created this blog to respond to the drama! Then it became a place to tell stories and I attempted my first and only 100 baby challenge (I only made it to 6 kids)

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

I just updated it - it was my Bachelorette sim from my 7 Deadly Sins BC that I did in 2016 and as I’m now mostly TS4 I changed it to Halcy who is my current colourful fav

Why did you choose your header?  It is a house I built that I found a picture of when taking down my TS3 wedding shoot as above :D

Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? who won? I don’t have arguments, but if you are a dick to me or my friends I will say my piece and block your ass. I have experienced true drama (I was doxxed) in another fandom and once was enough thank you

How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts: Unless mass posting it’s literally going to literally deflect an asteroid from impacting the earth, it’s a no from me. We never know how a person is doing. Some days people need safe spaces to look at pics of dogs and protect their mental health, they shouldn’t feel stressed or shamed into activism in these moments. My sister is fond of saying “rest is resistance” - bringing capitalist ideas about relentless productivity and constant consumption into your activism is counterproductive,. Rest when you need to so you can fight when you have to.
