Hot take! Sora and Icicle could have been friends if Jade mountain academy put some funding into fucking therapy.

Like genuinely, they could have actually bonded over losing an older sibling that they idolized.

These literal children were in a WAR, The mudwing troop 100% killed icewings! No one has clean hands after the war and the goal of the academy should have been helping everyone come to terms with their own problems instead of throwing them with the dragons they were told to kill like a few months ago!!

Instead of Dragon King- Icicle- Ultra Humanite (Starman) it should have been Dragon King-BRAINWAVE-Ultra Humanite (Starman).

Lemme explain

Jordan was too easy, with Cameron’s trauma and how important he was he is very admittedly the obvious choice.

But you’re telling me that when it comes to trick people into believing something BRAINWAVE is not the best choice?????

He could convince an entire army to fire without moving a muscle. Dr. King was revered enough to not be questioned and all he had to say was “after the death of my son I ran into despair everyone thought I had died, a part of me did. But my wife and son wouldn’t want that.” People wouldn’t ask another question.

He would tell the JSA that he hated what he did and oh how he wishes he didn’t kill his son. Obviously they don’t believe him so there’s fight there.

But do you really think Sylvester wouldn’t have the same response as he did with Icicle????? That he wouldn’t revenge for his sister and her son???

Never in a million years would they work together?? Unless... that’s not Sylvester...

BUUUUT if you want to take it even further what if it was Henry Jr???? Then everyone would happily open their arms. You’re not telling me the JSA wouldn’t be relieved to see Henry Jr on the doorstep telling some tale about being in hiding not realizing his daddy was dead and learning to use his powers. That Sylvester wouldn’t get emotional seeing the nephew he never got meet.

Only to then learn that’s not Sylvester? Or maybe not even Henry Jr but Henry Sr in disguise. Maybe the musical skulls with each other’s brains?

(Okay that last one is a stretch but it’s late and I just wanted Henry Jr alive okay???)

But I mean it about Brainwave. That would have been a bigger twist and made waaay more sense for the brain hopping narrative.
