Allegiances Part 3 —— The Apprentices
Sunpaw || 10 moons || Strict (Mentor: Hazelroach)
Sunpaw considers himself disciplined, his sister prefers the word uptight. Even without knowing his mother, he picked up on the grief of those around him and seemed to internalize it. He is accustomed to harsh expectations, and harsh realities. He was apprenticed to Hazelroach in an attempt to curve both of their personalities towards equilibrium, and the two get along surprisingly well.
Goldpaw || 10 moons || Shameless (Mentor: Mistyspots)
Goldpaw reminds the clan of her mother, bright and big to the point of foolishness. While her brother internalized the grief of their mother’s death, Goldpaw took it upon herself to fill the space she once took and live up to her memory. This caused a rift between her and her father, who had trouble separating his anger over his mate’s death with his complicated feelings for the new kits he had to raise. Lightstar apprenticed Goldpaw to her father in an effort to heal their bond, but while Goldpaw works hard to earn her father’s approval, he always seems to expect more than she can give.

The Iceclanians play Minecraft
Blizzard: Dies constantly and somehow falls of the face of the planet while mining (shadow totally didn’t have anything to do with it.)
Shadow: Screams and rages in Spanish but somehow manages to curse in English just so everyone can understand his string of insults.
Rusty: Trying to calm everyone down and just ends up being targeted by every living soul.
Firefur: Constantly running from zombies. Even when he gets all diamond.
Moonfur: Surprisingly good, but sucks at fighting. Shadow keeps killing her.
Jade: Logs in. Slaughters everyone. Logs out.
Falcon: Trying to get everyone to work together to beat the game. Shadow thought he’d be an easy target. He was wrong.
Clover: She has not stopped exploring. It’s been like a year.
Ivy: She mines constantly, but she never shares anything. What she finds belongs to her.
Ghost: He never gets to play, Scorch keeps calling him to save him and Arctic.
Everest: He left the moment Shadow started screaming.
Cyclone: Killing all the sheep just for fun. Says he likes the look of fear in their eyes.
Lightningstrike: Chasing his boyfriend around trying to get him to stop killing all of the sheep.
Scorch & Arctic: Desperately trying to build a house, but it seems like the game is targeting them. They found a mushroom biome and somehow saw their first zombie apocalypse.
Echo: “WILL YOU STOP DOING THAT, JADE!”
Glacier: Finding elaborate ways to destroy everyone’s houses. And laughing maniacally.
Max: Trying to hide from Glacier’s TNT launcher. Failing miserably.
Atomic: Working with Glacier but he’s trapping everyone instead.
Ajax: “ATOMIC, IF YOU PUT ME IN A BEDROCK BOX ONE MORE TIME!”
Dawn: Mortal enemies with Rushwind. The two will not stop killing each other. Oh. My. God.
Rushwind: Literally doing nothing but trying to beat Dawn. It’s getting exhausting for everyone.
Shard: Going on a rant about how “That’s not how medicine works!” And destroying everyones’ supply of potions.
Leafblizzard: Yep, she’s still the healer.
Conan: Raiding villages. Raiding houses. Raiding everything known to man.
Koda: Trying to get Conan to stop. Eventually caves and joins in.
Adderstrike: Literally nothing. He just stands there. But HE NEVER DIES!

I’m obsessed with Clearwater’s design is there any information about them? What’s their favorite thing to do who’s their best friend do they have cool dreams
She was born in Brookclan and was previously in a relationship with Aspenstar before her leadership. The two had a massive falling out which left Clearwater in a bad way and caused her to pretty much cut ties with Brookclan and her family there, including her brother Sootfrost. She and Aspenstar will speak out of necessity due to their high ranking positions but Clearwater tends to avoid her as much as possible.
In her youth she was ambitious and a lot more outgoing, though she’s always taken herself and her responsibilities seriously and is protective of those she cares about. She became a lot more withdrawn after leaving Brookclan, a bit tired and melancholic. She feels really at home in Iceclan though, she’s particularly close to Fogstar, who’s always been an advocate for her and extended kindness when Clearwater needed it.
If you mean dreams as in aspirations she’s pretty fulfilled in that department and doesn’t really long for anything ‘more’ like she used to. She has some regrets but she doesn’t let them weigh heavy like Aspenstar does. If you mean sleeping dreams she probably occasionally dreams about memories that make her feel kind of strange and wistful and sad, but most nights she sleeps deeply and dreamlessly.
#oh i forgot to answer what her favorite thing to do is#probably just sitting on the mountainside and enjoying the scenery#or quietly sitting in and listening to other iceclan denizens as they chat#she’s a quiet cat she loves comfortable silence#clearwater#ask#anon#alaska clans

Moon 0 - Part 2
Duskstorm and Hawktail head out to gather herbs. At first, they find nothing. Clawing at the snow beneath her, she sends Hawktail back to camp and continues on her own.
Duskstorm can't believe her eyes. It's Appletoe; her mentor and fellow IceClan medicine cat. One look at the stars in Appletoe's pelt tells Duskstorm all she needs to know, even if she doesn't want to accept it at first.

I've been thinking of StormClan with the release of Ivypool's Heart, and now I'm curious about other possible clan combinations.
So I made a whole list.
I'll try to explain my naming reasons, just know I tried to keep it to the canon vocabulary so they aren't super unique.
ThunderClan
ThunderClan + WindClan - StormClan (the canon one)
ThunderClan + RiverClan - FloodClan (storms + bodies of water result in flash floods, think of Mapleshade's river and the lake in Bramblestar's Storm)
ThunderClan + ShadowClan - StrikeClan (lightning strikes and stealth attacks)
ThunderClan + SkyClan - BranchClan (lightning branches and SkyClan's tree climbing)
WindClan
WindClan + RiverClan - MistClan (water vapor lmao)
WindClan + ThunderClan - StormClan
WindClan + ShadowClan - GustClan (strong winds - this one was a little hard)
WindClan + SkyClan - QuickClan (running and tree climbing - also a hard one)
RiverClan
RiverClan + WindClan - MistClan
RiverClan + ThunderClan - FloodClan
RiverClan + ShadowClan - IceClan (I wanted to do something like AbyssClan or TrenchClan, but it just didnt fit right with warriors vocabulary, so... cold dangerous water)
RiverClan + SkyClan - DriftClan (drift wood lol)
ShadowClan
ShadowClan + WindClan - GustClan
ShadowClan + ThunderClan - StrikeClan
ShadowClan + RiverClan - IceClan
ShadowClan + SkyClan - PineClan (the pines being the main tree in ShadowClan)
SkyClan
SkyClan + WindClan - QuickClan
SkyClan + ThunderClan - BranchClan
SkyClan + RiverClan - DriftClan
SkyClan + ShadowClan - PineClan
And, that's it lol. I found it fun.

A map of the clans’s territories marking significant locations.
Location descriptions under cut:
1. The Moon Glacier
Said to be a piece of the moon itself, fallen from the sky onto the earth below. This massive chunk of ice slowly creeps across the ground, carved deep with crevices that glow blue from within. Traveling across this glacier will lead a cat to the Great Ice Sea, a stretch of cold, barren waste that no one but a god could survive on alone.
2. Iceclan’s Camp
If one scales the mountain that lies south of the glacier’s maw, they will find the narrow entrance to a cave between where ice and stone meet. Within this small cave lies the denizens of Iceclan, who all bed down together in the middle of the cavern.
3. The Moonlight Cavern
Deep in the cave where Iceclan makes their camp lies the entrance to a tunnel that extends into the mountain. This tunnel serves as the resting place for Iceclan’s dead, but also leads across the width of the mountain to where the glacier runs against the other side. A traveling cat is greeted with a wall of ice that stretches the far side of the cavern, and the sound of dripping water and the creaking groan of the glacier echoes off the walls. Light filters through the ice, flooding the cave with a haunting blue light. But in this stunning cavern, the first thing that will catch a cat’s eye is a dark shape suspended in the ice. Backed by a blue glow, the clear silhouette of an ancient cat skeleton sits frozen in the middle of the wall. A fallen god, preserved forever in moonlight, a link between cosmic beings and the cats of the mortal world.
4. The River
Fed by the meltwaters of the glacier, the River runs southeast through the mountains for several miles before joining the Bay. The land around it is flat, bordered by broad stretches of gravelly terrain.
5. Brookclan’s Camp
At the base of the north mountain, alongside a chilly stream fed by runoff and snowmelt, lies the Brookclan camp. To the camp’s north, a small waterfall leaps off the mountainface, continuing down south where it eventually meets the river. The ground here is slightly sloped, and clusters of bushes line the stream, in which the cats make their dens.
6. Gathering Rock
Resting just next to the river, surrounded by a wide swath of flat, pebbled ground, a huge flat stone rests alone in the valley. The cats of the clans gather here every full moon, spending the entire day feasting, playing games, and catching up with loved ones from across the clans. The clans’ leaders also use this time to coordinate with each other, gathering close to discuss strategic, survival, and spiritual matters.
7. The Bay
Stretching wide and blue toward the distant horizon, ringed by jagged mountains, the Bay lies at the heart of the surrounding region. Its shores are lined with a diverse array of fauna and flora, and its waters teem equally with nutrients and hazards.
8. Oceanclan’s Camp
Just inland of the Bay’s shore, through a tidal marsh into the hemlock woods, one can find the Oceanclan camp. The camp is pressed against the stony clifface and surrounded by dense, old-growth forest. In the middle of the clearing, a shallow freshwater pool is fed by a small waterfall, providing fresh water to Oceanclan’s denizens.
9. Stoneclan Camp South
Where a small stream runs between the south mountain and the edge of the town, the cat’s of Stoneclan have established their southern camp. The camp is often bustling with activity from passing couriers, hunting parties traveling from the North camp, and cats slipping into town to scavenge human goods.
10. The Town
Nestled between the surrounding mountain ranges, spreading out from the coast into the valley, one can find the hub of local human activity. Here lies much danger, in the form of humans, with their prying eyes, their grasping paws, their chemicals and roaring deadly machines. But where there is danger there is also resource: fish from the harbor, stolen human trinkets, information and news from local housecats. Here is where the domestic cats of the clans can return to their roots, a refuge from nature’s ruthless grasp.
11. Stoneclan Camp North
Stoneclan’s North camp sits within a small grassy meadow, settled beside a wide stream, only a stones throw away from the humans’ railroad tracks. The cats here make dens using scraps of human metal and other industrial waste, and will sometimes make fires for warmth, the smoke plumes hidden under the cover of night.
12. Bear Lake
If one goes inland, a few miles northeast of the clans’ territories, a cat may spot a break in the dense forest. There, one can step onto the shore of Bear Lake, gazing across the impressive expanse of water. The lake and the surrounding woods provide an abundance of herbs and wildlife (both passive and hostile). Due to its distance from the clans’ center, the lake is not frequented often, but serves as a location for summer fishing trips by cats from Brookclan and Stoneclan.
13. Captain’s Shack
Deep within the woods a few miles south of Bear Lake, a small, dilapidated cabin sits alone in a clearing. A narrow stream runs beside it, and a tiny, well-kept garden lies between. This is the home of Captain, an old cat who has lived here for decades. She enjoys crafting and collecting, and will often trade her wares with Clan cats in exchange for food or assistance with her garden. She’s also known to brew a special drink out of valerian and silver vine that often leaves cats with a pleasant buzz.
#foregoing the location images for now since they’re taking a while to draw#will add them later#shout out to google earth for serving as the base for this map lol#hopefully its not too hard to read this#map#brookclan#oceanclan#iceclan#stoneclan#locations#info

Allegiances Part 1 —— The Leadership
Warmstar || 140 M || Righteous
Warmstar spent dedicated his life to the clan, at the expense of living it. Well within his rights to retire, Warmbreak had been about to retire before the blizzard struck. When they finally reached their new home, Lightstar was nowhere to be found. After receiving his nine lives, Warmstar put aside any plans for retirement and dedicated his life once again to building up their new clan. Warmstar never had time for a family of his own, instead treating the clan as his family. He is ready to lay down each and every one of his lives for them.
Moonspeck || 15 M || Charasmatic
Moonspeck didn’t expect to be named deputy, she was young and her former apprentice never made it to be a warrior. Yet when the blizzard came, Moonspeck rose to the occasion. If not for her efforts to raise the spirits of their clanmates, their already small group would have been even smaller. The respect she earned on the journey led to Warmstar’s decision, though there are some who secretly resent the decision. Moonspeck’s older sister gave birth only a few moons ago, but in her recovery was unable to make the journey. Moonspeck insured that her kits made it instead, and has adopted them as her own.
Lightpounce || 65 M || Thoughtful
Lightpounce has always been odd. As a young kit, he could be found in the nursery sitting near the entrance at night talking to the stars, or quietly observing as the other kits played. It wasn’t much of a surprise when Flurryspeckle took Lightpaw as an apprentice. He took to the role naturally, and it quickly became clear that the young medicine cat could communicate with Starclan in a way few others could. Before the blizzard, Lightpounce’s dreams were filled with white visions and freezing nightmares, but the clan was confident their home would keep them safe. It didn’t matter much in the end. Flurryspeckle died only minutes after making it to their new home, and for the first time in his life, Lightpounce’s dreams were silent. It was almost as if Starclan had been lost in the storm as well.

Okay so my experiment with FernClan was overwhelming, so I'm going to do the same thing, but every generation (aka every ~150 moons) I will manually randomize a deadly event to keep the numbers low. I'm also trying playing on Classic mode to see if it makes a difference.
Starting conditions:
Leaders over the generations:
Icestar
Lilystar:
Brownstar:
Cinderstar:
Valleystar:
Fogstar:
Larchstar:
Lilacstar:
Birchstar:
Antstar:
And then... starting conditions by moon 720 (actually moon 722 because I had some leaderless Clan drama I wanted to get finished up before doing this):
#iceclan#clangen#warrior cats#ooo that worked better and this is a MUCH more manageable number of cats haha

Moon 4
Iceclaw and Rosemask find Wolfpelt waiting for them at the Whisperclan border. He is escorted to camp, where he informs Rustfeather and Smokestar of increased hostility from Iceclan. The coming leafbare seems to be a harsh one…
Much to Rainypaws’ chagrin, most of Cascadeclan has caught fleas. Itchy cats make for poor tempers, and Foxtail snaps at Frostleaf.
Shockkit confides in Bright that he doesn’t see stars. He is afraid it means something is wrong with him- what could it mean that their ancestors aren’t in his skies? Bright does his best to comfort Shockkit.
My thanks to @andlien for letting me use their oc Wolfpelt!
