I literally truly and honestly cannot fathom creating The Force Awakens, from the score to the cinematography to the costumes to the editing, and then being like “nah Rey isn’t Luke’s daughter”
#the force awakens#star wars#luke skywalker#yeah i just watched tfa for the first time in a while#i forgot that they LITERALLY PLAY LUKE'S THEME FOR REY#how do you allow that script#how do you allow those acting choices#i'm foaming at the mouth#if it was just a few of those things!!!#but no it's ALL OF THOSE THINGS!!!!#'that lightsaber was luke's and it was his father's before him and now i'm giving it to you rando girl'#like i GET where rey nobody could have been really cool and you could have done that!!!#but EVERYONE being like 'the droid was with a gIrL. wE mUsT gEt ThE gIrL' why yall freaked out#kyle why you worried what's that about#is it because you thought you killed her but you didn't hmmmm?#why did you give her luke's theme. why did you give her luke's theme#why not a swamp. why not an ice planet?#do you get what i'm saying#rey is luke poe is leia and finn is han do you see. do you see.

Vibrates. Normal. I'm normal. I'm so normal.
#rat rambles#oni posting#oh god oh fuck I just opened the steam page to wishlist it and guys guys guys there may or may not be a new dupe#either that or its just hinting at future customization options that include hair but idk#I have thoughts and ideas that are vague and based on very little but I am fucking loosing it yall#also the planet being another cold one is just the icing on the cake for me as the number one rime enjoyer#and new temperature mechanics sound fun and Im rly hoping that with the dlc cold will actually matter more#because from my time playing it being too cold basically only matters for food and water and is otherwise mostly a good thing#yeah your dupes will cry abt it but as far as I know it kind of cant kill them#so while part of why I like rime is that I find the cold to be a boon more than anything I hope ut becomes more of a legit problem here#anyways this is all to distract myself from the real thing thats making me tremble with both excitement and fear and thats lore#they have to add new lore and theyre going to and Im scared guys its happening#ok ok to keep distracting myself from that I love how everyone is characterized in the new short its delightful#again I absolutely adore jean being a grumpy old fart its my favorite thing#I also love liam being all like oh grandpa lets get you to bed aby jorge dgskhsjd#also was jorge breaking in with the story trait stuff or trying to shove it in a closet or smth? idk#anyways I think the idea of the dupes treating jorge like the colony grandpa is very funny old man dupe alert hes older than 2 weeks#honestly the combination of jorge and this potential new dupe has me thinking abt some stuff#cause like it is a bit odd how in game jorge is completely unique and the pod doesnt have the data for his blueprint#now its possible that some data was lost or smth but Im leaning towards there's other dupes who have blueprints and stuff but they were#removed from later pods to save space for more important data#or maybe there was some reason why certain dupes had to be discontinued because of the dupes themselves#I think itd make a lot of sense for there to be other dupe blueprints floating around too since presumably gravitas had access to the dna#of all of their employees and evidently even some non employees considering dupe quinn exists#so itd make some sense for there to be dupe blueprints for even more scientists that worked at gravitas#this also gives room for them to make dupes for any potential randos that currently exist in the oni logs like dr.holland#(dr.holland may be a dupe we already know but yknow he could also be made into a completely new guy if they so desired)#oh oh wait new critters and plants means that our plant and animal guys get to talk more yippee 🎉#oh maybe we'll even have confirmation of who they are through this#probably not but I can dream

Astrology notes #4 🪼
Please do not copy or plagerise my work, if you want some of my observations to be included, please mention my username, thx
Photo from Pinterest
SN/12th house observations (NA and Synastry)
🪼 Sedna in the 12th house signifies a betrayal of a supposed authority (either job, family, spouse, etc.) and that trauma can be subconscious mostly from past life.
Ex. A woman was getting sick from a deadly disease and wanted the spouse just to make her dying process easier, but he still treated her like last priority, gave her no affection and blamed her for it. She wanted her life to end peacefully with the one she loves the most, but her life ended in betrayal and dissapointment. Now that trauma can be carried from a life to a life. Now that soul can't really trust people with whom they have relationships with nor marriages no matter how much work is done unless the affected person does a lot of shadow work/therapy
🪼 SN in the lower hemisphere (especially IC) of a chart can indicate being scared/afraid or not interested about travelling or moving outside the culture they've been raised in. Mostly, it is true if personal planets are in lower hemisphere too.
Ex. Someone who is raised in Polish culture but is affected by this placement is not fully interested in travelling or moving outside slavic culture. They are not interested in visiting Dutch, Brazilian, Spanish or any culture outside slavic countries
🪼 SN in 9th house (Virgo) usually indicates that the person is experiencing stomach issues outside their homeland or birthplace. Virgo is medically associated with stomach area and intensities
🪼 SN and Juno Rx in 7th house in Sedna (90377) persona chart means that the subconscious fear one has is from lover from past life, probably the marriage was harsh from the start and didn't benefit (I will do a specific post about past life based of my charts and persona charts)
🪼 Not a lot of betrayal is mentioned in 12th house but a lot of placements in that house or 8th can signify that (I experienced it WAY TOO many times) and betrayals can come even from negative aspects to Saturn (all about synastry)
🪼 People with Venus in 12th house are not completely showing their love and care for others and their love can be hidden most of the times 💔 also they like to keep their love life hidden most of the times and don't really talk about it
🪼 People with SN in 9th house no matter how challenging it can be for a person, they LOVE to travel and be out of their hometown/country
🪼 People with bad Nodes aspects to Venus can't build up their standards properly and don't really know how to experience love and show it (similar to Venus in 12th house)
I really don't know if this note is true but if it's valid for yall natives please comment about it
🪼 SN conjunct/square Lilith usually mean that the natives can't really feel safe at the same place they are in so they are prone to changing routines, people around them, people they feel confrontable with, etc. (Based in what house the aspect is)
🪼 Having Moon in someone's 12th house can at the same time mean you understand their emotions fully or have deep intuition about them. You can even have dreams about them when in distance.

Concerns Rise Over Destabilization of Sabberon
In the wake of the unseating of House Bourbon and the resulting power vacuum on Planet Sabberon, concerns are mounting over the potential for destabilization within the region. Situated on a crucial part of the galactic trade route, Sabberon's turmoil could have far-reaching implications for the economic prosperity of the Landsraad's trade routes.
With no governing body to maintain order, rising insurgent groups throughout the planet threaten to plunge Sabberon into chaos. The potential for conflict and upheaval remains a significant concern for the wider galactic community - but there has been no comment by the Emperor at this time.
This all comes to head a month before the Imperium's Annual Referendum, wherein new negotiations on Space Trade Routes will be drawn, along with the final Arraignment of the House Bourbon.
- Collected Galactic News report sent to Duke Leto Atreides, 10191. Caladan.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:
On the planet Sabberon, there is a trail that leads through the forest.
Past the Castle Bourbon, it winds up the slope of a mountain - and in the springtime, when the snow thaws and the glacier pours its icy veins into the rivers that trickle through the woods, the ground becomes spongy with wild grass.
You crane your head to take in the towering mountains in the distance; They dominate over your vision, the caps bald with white snow reflecting so sharply that you have to squint. Those distant mountains never lose their ice even in the warm months, unlike the one you walk now.
your hand reaches back across the soft fabric of the dress that covers your body, the sunlight shy and spring-like upon your exposed skin. Your feet are bare; cold, the tips of your toes stained with the dirt of the earthy soil as you pull a weight of warmth behind you.
The trees rustle, bushes smacking gently against your bare arms as you make your way to a small, secluded clearing - protected by tall trees laden with chiffon ribbons of green; there are candles upon an offering pyre, loomed only by the Pine that grows tall and thick, towering so high that it disappears in the clouds.
You're at peace.
The sheet that lies beneath the safety of the Pine's branches welcomes your body as you lie, the sky streaking as the sun shoots pink and orange overhead.
A body lies next to you; your eyes closed, you feel hands run up the side of your arm, caressing your side. Heat follows; your arm raises goosebumps but they're soothed over when a mouth lands on yours.
His lips are eager, passionate, calm. You sigh into the kiss, hands reaching to the chest of your husband to find him bare; Skin hot, willing - desiring.
Your breath catches; Try as you might, you cannot bring your eyelids to open, even as his fingers sneak up your bare thigh, slipping gently under your skirt to graze along your heat. pleasure follows his hand as you keen under his touch.
Swallowing a gasp with his lips, your husband's fingers slip agonizingly slow into you; tingling with anticipation and desire, you let out a short moan. Your fingers clutch his shoulders; muscles strain underneath your nails as a phantom tickle graces across your forehead - you're unsure if it's yours, or his.
His forearm is strong, his other hand cupping your neck as he slowly moves his fingers, stirring arousal and pleasure from the deepest pits of your memory. You'd expect to smell fresh forest, perhaps lustful sweat; yet you instead inhale and nearly choke on the tinny air that surrounds you. There is a vague, hazy observation somewhere in your mind: he smells different here, on the ground of the Sacred Pine. Not like the fresh, sea-salty clean of Caladan's soaps. Any thoughts of confusion at the metallic scent wash away as his hot lips trail down your throat, nipping at your heady skin when your head falls back onto the white sheet.
Following the soft moan you let out is a shush from his lips, gentle as the breeze through the needles of the trees; Ecstasy dances through you, lighting a fire of desire that has your legs squirming to close as your husband slides his lithe body between your thighs.
His presence is warm, thick - eager from the scent of you, the taste of you, the feel of you.
Your eyes flutter open just a moment when his hands push, bunching your dress over your hips. The Pine stands tall above you; upside-down, you stare curiously as it sways, licks of heat igniting the top of it from the sky. The streaks in the sky look bizarre; almost unnatural, and a vague sense of unease strikes you before washing away.
The sun is dipping below the ridged peaks in the distance, but in the evening light, you frown as you stare upwards. It almost looks as if the branches of the Pine are... on fire; Before you can think too hard on it, his lips soothe over yours, pressing his own hardness against your eager heat. Your eyes roll back as a moan leaves your lips; the sound is warbled, as if fallen through a lake.
Your hands slide up his back, feeling the ridges of his spine as you go, gasping at the length pressing against your aching core.
A wind whistles through the trees. In the quiet of the forest, you whisper softly, "I love you."
The words barely a breath against his lips as you fight against a smile of bliss. His hand snakes up to tug at your hair, exposing your neck to him as you hum, your eyes still shut in bliss. Your vision is blurry as lips find your throat, biting down and making you gasp harshly.
The chill breeze flutters over your bare core, goosebumps cascading over every curve and fold of your body. But the more your husband bites down, the stronger the foreign smell on your him becomes. In a grunt of discomfort, you shove his mouth away from your throat - but his lips slide up to your ear, instead:
"I know, pet."
A whisper - cold and sinister. A chill runs down your spine. Fear grips you tighter than a vice as you pull back in alarm, your heart pounding in your chest.
Then it happens; a sharp pain punctures through you.
With searing agony, you let out a blood-curdling scream, voice cracking as your eyes fly open.
But as you look into your husband's eyes, you realize with horror that it's not Paul at all.
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen smiles cruelly, watching with a hunger in his eyes as he pushes; but it isn't him, it's something else - your hand flies up to the pain between your ribs, gasping a choked breath as your grip covers his own, feeling the sickeningly familiar hilt protruding from you.
You look down in your terror.
In his hand, he holds your own nameday knife, the exposed part of its blade glinting in the dim light of the ceremonial candles that surround you. With a coldness in his gaze, Feyd leans down and presses a kiss to your forehead, his breath hot against you and making your skin crawl.
Blood slowly seeps over your body, covering your dress and soaking the sheet below you, tainting the ritual in crimson. You cannot move, gasping in shock.
"You're mine," he whispers, his voice possessive and malicious, his hand turning the blade deeper, smiling as you scream. "My wife."
With a gasp, you jolt awake.
Your heart races as you struggle to catch your breath, the sensation of his touch still haunting you; a face hovers before you, and you lash out, fighting to get the body away from you. Your fist swings wildly from where you sit up, throwing as much power as you can in your blind haze.
A hand catches your wrist mid-swing, effectively jerking you to the side as a gasp fills the room. For a moment, as your heart pounds, you consider how many moves it'd take to disarm your attacker - but when you blink yourself into focus, your stomach drops.
Hestia, cheeks red as she breathes, her round eyes wide; her grip is firm, gentle, but her brows are knit with worry.
"-My lady," Her voice is airy, eyes searching your panicked gaze. "You were only dreaming."
Your breath comes in ragged gasps as you blink rapidly, attempting to dispel the lingering tendrils of the nightmare that still cling to your consciousness. Dread fills you instantly, regret clasping your ribs in a deadly embrace. "My god," You whisper, eyes filling with unwilling tears, "I-I'm sorry," you stammer, the weight of your actions crashing down upon you as you realize what you've done. "Are you okay? Hestia, I didn't mean to-"
Her expression softens and she gives your hand a gentle squeeze, offering you a reassuring smile, her voice is soft with compassion. "It's alright, my lady," she says, "You were frightened. Anyone would react the same way."
You know she's lying to be nice. Guilt gnaws at your insides as you realize the harm you could have caused, and you feel a lump form in your throat. "I wouldn't hurt you," you say firmly, your voice barely audible above the pounding of your heart. She blinks, noticing the absence that must linger in your stare.
Hestia's smile remains unwavering as she shakes her head gently. "I know, my Lady," she says, her tone filled with understanding. "And you didn't. I'm just glad you're alright."
The bruises and marks from your old life took several days to fade after your arrival on Caladan, but she, nor the other maids, ever said anything when they'd smoothed makeup over the bitemark on your neck, slipped a tunic over the jagged scar on your ribs, or pulled the mourning veil over your face. Each of them are soft in their own way - kind, loving, talkative, and loyal to their House; and Hestia is your favorite. You never found this kind of humanity on Giedi Prime.
Even after you and Hestia finish your breakfast, and she helps you dress, she doesn't ask about the dream. And you don't tell her.
It is certainly not the first of these dreams you've had - yes, you've been dreaming of that place nearly every night since you arrived here; the mountains, the hills, the pathway to the open clearing with the large tree. Each night, it calls to you, singing a song you cannot hear; but never, not until now, had there been a man with you.
Never had Paul nor Feyd-Rautha found you in those dreams.
A sharp pain to your side reminds you of that phantom knife stuck through your ribs, of the cold stare of the man you once thought you’d be with forever. You'd woken in fear from the nightmare, but the beginning of the dream had been... pleasant, extremely so - and it was because of...
Paul, your mind reminds you, as you swallow the unease in your stomach.
No doubt in your mind, it is Sabberon in your dreams - you'd know those trees, that Pine, anywhere. But the sheet on the ground, the altar, the chiffon ribbons in the trees, the candles- it felt almost like a ritual. You've never seen nor heard of such a place in all your years.
Dressing you is a solemn affair this morning. The worst moment of hesitation comes when Hestia holds up the necklace; it shines in the rays of sunlight, glistening with the precious stone that carves out the emblem of the Atreides hawk. Your jaw tightens when you back your head away from her slightly.
She's not unused to this; it's been half a week since it was given to you, and each day you have bared your teeth as she clasps it around your neck - yet still, you wear it. Her eyes find yours, swimming; she can tell where your mind's gone so easily.
"You said he apologized?" She asks tentatively, and you huff a short laugh. "Yes. Only after I told on him to his parents, like a child. He probably hates me more, now."
She gives you an incredulous look as she clasps the necklace over your neckline.
"He gifted you a family heirloom - my lady, look at it! This thing is older than the two of us combined." She is lighthearted, but it does not quell your distress.
Your teeth worry into your bottom lip as you hum gently. "It's not as simple as that." You say with a shrug. Your eyes cast down, where your bare feet stand against the floor. For a minute, you see wild grass under them; a white sheet, blood seeping through it and onto your toes. Averting your gaze, you clear your throat. "I think he wants me to remember who holds the reins."
A hand on your shoulder snaps you back into your own bedchambers and you swallow thickly. Her face holds nothing but honesty. "Or, it's his way of trying to welcome you as a part of House Atreides. He is not sinister, I promise, just slow to trust."
You send her a look, "You seem to know Lord Paul quite well, Hestia." you say, not accusatory, but teasing.
She, as expected, flushes red; you have to hide your smirk. "Nothing-nothing like that, my Lady." she insists, shaking her head. "My mother was the handmaiden to Lady Jessica. He is just a few years older than I - In some ways, though I am but a servant, Paul and I were reared almost as siblings."
You nod gently, watching her face contort into something very warm, less embarrassed, "I've got no siblings of my own, but sometimes I think he is exactly what a brother should be." She shrugs. "Kind, thoughtful, always willing to lend an ear. Quite loyal, always standing up for what he believes is right, no matter the cost - and, if you'd believe it, he can be quite funny sometimes."
No matter the cost - like ruining a betrothal to a woman he thinks is a Harkonnen spy? You hide your grimace, knowing Hestia is only wishing to soothe your mind. Instead you force a smile, hoping it appears more brilliant than you feel.
"I always seemed to fight with my siblings." Your voice is melancholy - the idea of having someone so close, so familiar, feels like a distant dream now. "But they were my favorite people in this entire universe." You smile wistfully, clearing your throat as you slide on the hand jewelry she offers to you. She doesn't say anything, and you're grateful for it.
"Family, by blood or bond, is a precious thing." You reason, pulling up your trousers and slipping on your shoes.
Hestia nods in agreement, her own wistful smile playing on her lips. "Indeed, my lady."
You eye your reflection in the mirror on the wall; You stare sullenly back at yourself- beautiful, yes - but miserable. A dog with a collar for the Atreides leash.
She claps, "Now, let's get you to this War Council."
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:
Paul lets out a sharp sigh.
An aseptic scent pierces his nostrils, contaminating his brain; Distracting him. The castle can become very sterile, deep in the more secluded chambers - the air has a chill to it, sharp with some kind of disinfectant.
"Concentrate, Paul.” His mother’s voice is low but commanding, "Project your will."
He can’t bring himself to look up - his mother stands just a few paces away, her eyes boring into him. Focus. He needs to focus.
Squeezing his eyes shut, he hums gently - flames flicker up the sides of his vision, though he pushes through - a large tree, smoke leaking from somewhere above where it pierces the clouds. A sigh of his name in his ear, hands tugging the curls at the nape of his neck. His nostrils flare as he shakes his head, letting out a small groan of irritation. Focus.
Within him, an energy builds; But as he begins to speak, a strange sense of trepidation washes over his spine, a nagging suspicion of unease. He falters in his words for a moment, confidence waning as doubts crept into his mind.
It's silent for a moment, before she sighs from across the room. “You’re distracted this morning, Paul." she states, her tone neutral. He bites back a sharp I know - instead he sighs, his shoulders dropping. “I didn’t sleep well.” He excuses, pacing towards the water pitcher. She follows, reaching for the glass he offers to her as she hums in thought.
“Dreams?” She reads him so well.
He pauses; Frankly, there is a giving degree to which he understands the Bene Gesserit’s plans for him, and this alone is cause for hesitation. He remembers the sheer pain from that box all those years ago, just after he'd heard the Reverend Mother tell his own lady mother that there were two candidates - for what, he still doesn't know - and that Paul may one day be one of them.
He isn't sure what it meant, but there is a very sick feeling in his stomach that perhaps these dreams have to do with it.
"Yes." He acquiesces, knowing she would have seen straight through any lie he'd fabricate. "I've been having dreams," he admits reluctantly, gaze drifting to the floor. He knows how it is about to sound. "Vivid dreams...of Sabberon."
To an untrained eye, no one would be able to read his mother's emotions. But Paul's eyes are indeed quite trained; A flicker of concern passes through her. "Sabberon?" She echoes, her tone careful, the way it becomes when discussing matters of great import. "And what do you see in these dreams?"
Paul hesitates, the memory still fresh in his mind; in the beginning, it is always soft skin, toes imbued with the dirt. Soft whispers of his name from lips he has yet to truly see.
And then there is your body, the skin of your thighs shaking as his lips move lower and lower. The gentleness of your sigh as he holds your hips down, the glint of a blade's hilt almost golden in the reddening sun. Your gown, thin and blowing in the breeze, the same color as the veil which still conceals your face from his wanting gaze even in the dying light; Streaks of color in the sky, snow falling around you. The soft fabric bunching by your hips, lying down softly on a white sheet. Your chest tremoring in the flickering light of ceremonial candles; Your own breath, warm and willing, upon his neck, hands moving lower towards his waistband. A soft moan, the smell of ash-
He swallows thickly, staring at his mother with hesitation, jaw clenching.
He clears his throat, "I always see..." He chooses carefully the truths he will forgive, "a white blanket covering the ground," he murmurs, his words heavy with uncertainty. "Above, there's a great pine tree burning. Visions of...knives, and streaks through the sky; I think they are missiles. And we are there together... she and I."
"Lady Bourbon?" His mother repeats, her brow lifting. Paul nods, a sense of unease settling in the pit of his stomach.
"I'm not sure why it's always the same dream," he admits, his voice barely audible. "Perhaps I've been reading about Sabberon too much."
He can't shake the feeling that there's something important waiting for him on Sabberon; It's true - you have become a frequent visitor in his dreams. Always there, always you - and somehow, he knows it's Sabberon. He sees it burning; he sees it up in flames, and sometimes, you with it.
Lady Jessica sets her unused glass of water down on the table. "Be cautious with your dreams, Paul. Listen to them, learn from them." she urges, words leaving no sense of comfort in his chest. "Dreams are messages from the deep."

Though it was but late morning, the Strategy Council found you quite weary.
You sit, toying with your fingers as you drown in a sea of House Atreides; The only solace in the room is your shortsword, laid in front of you on the table for all to see. Certainly a warning, this time.
Nearly everybody you've met of importance is in attendance - the table is large and long, so much so that you know you will have to project your voice to be heard by the dredges of your periphery. War masters, strategists, women and men with intense stares and the symbol of house Atreides upon their clothing.
After the table is full, Duke Leto begins the discussion with a brief introduction - you have yet to meet a handful of these advisors, and in your own introduction you have to fight hard not to sound too sharp or calculating, your eyes skittering to observe the details of your listeners from behind the veil. Worse than this is the fight to stifle your yawn as the duke reviews intelligence reports; Gritting your teeth, you sit up straighter. Now is not the time for your body and mind to punish you for the lack of sound sleep.
In an unfortunate glance beside the duke, you're startled - Paul, who sits beside his father, stares at the pendant hanging from your neck. A wash of chills fall down your spine.
Until now, there's lived a cold silence between the two of you that has not been broken since it began the night he gave you the necklace. Cordial nods or a tight-lipped smile from him in passing, whenever a house member is around; nothing more would dare be said.
If you'd been less indulged in your studies and training, or he less prideful, perhaps it would not have gone on this long - but seeing as you've barely been in the same room once since that dreadful dinner several days ago, it's no different. You aren't to be wed until the end of this year, but you know sometime soon, you will have to learn to live with him.
Paul does not notice your attention on him for some time as his father speaks beside him; He is seemingly in his own world, gazing intently at the necklace in a way that gives you a rush of unease.
Suddenly, green eyes flicker upwards to find your own; You're unsure how he does it each time, for you know your face is well concealed unless only a foot away from you. It shocks you to your core anyways, and images unwelcome fly into your mind's eye.
Curls that kiss your forehead as he tilts his head down; His hand snaking up the bareness of your thigh.
You swallow thickly, shifting in your seat. It's bad enough to dream of Feyd-Rautha, but now you're flushing like a child each time you catch your husband-to-be's eyes - like some innocent maiden; catching those very same eyes which regard you as a pawn on the chessboard of his House, no less.
There is not a part of you so vain as to lie and say Paul is not extremely attractive. With his dark curls, sharp angles, plush lips, and that cool voice, anybody with eyes or ears can tell. But even just this innocent observation makes you fight the urge to rip off the necklace, to scream at him - I am not yours to keep like a pet! But before you can do much of anything, his gaze is gone from you, turning his attention to the matter at hand.
Begrudgingly, you try to do the same.
Your eyelids droop as you fight to stare at the duke, who speaks in what you can only perceive as background noise as your mind soldiers on against your own will.
"Lady Bourbon?"
Your eyes snap up, heart suddenly beating hard under the shockingly paternal stare of Duke Leto. In fact, through the silence, you observe that every eye is on you expectantly, including Paul. He's concerned, it seems, as you snap out of your reverie, the embarrassment flooding you; Paul's green eyes bore into you just from the Duke's left.
"Apologies, my Lord," you clear your throat, willing your cheeks to stop flushing from the attention. "I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I've been having some...odd dreams," you admit reluctantly under his gaze, "they've been keeping me awake at night. Can you repeat yourself?"
You do not miss the way that Lady Jessica's eyes flick to her son; His own gaze casts suddenly downwards, as if deep within his own mind. Whatever she is thinking, he clearly is avoiding - there is but little pause from the rest of the council, thankfully. Thufir Hawat denotes a remedy in the form of an elixir you can take before sleep that should help you - the Duke orders a servant to have it brought to your quarters this evening, and you forget all about the look shared between Lady Jessica and Paul.
You're painfully alert after this, and when you are finally called upon to share your thoughts, it is by Gurney Halleck. He leans forward, "My lady, you mentioned certain endeavors during your time on Giedi Prime. What do you know of their Spice exploits?"
Your jaw ticks when eyes across the room fall to you, wishing to rid yourself of the cursed veil that constricts your face. Sitting forward, you clear your throat. "I do not know much of their spice harvesting - and it must be said that what I know is mostly second-hand. I learned most of it through Feyd-Rautha."
A murmur from the end of the table, one you are quick to squash; "He is vicious, but he has his own weaknesses that the other Harkonnens lack." You refuse to drop the duke's stare as the implications of your words settle into everyone's minds. "Spice is not their only source of power."
Eyes watch you, captivated. Feeling for once like you hold power over them, you continue. "They have large petroleum reserves - I've seen them, they're never-ending."
This makes the duke shift in his seat; likewise, Paul's brows furrow in thought.
"From what I can piece together, my family was recording Harkonnen reserves and monitoring their activity with the Spacing Guild - not just for spice, but petroleum. I was none the wiser until after they were caught, but of course, who is to believe me?" You eye Paul at your words. He looks away, something like guilt on his face, as you continue. "-Which is why the Great Houses likely allowed for me to be brought to Caladan. In case I know something." Your eyes fall to Duke Leto. "Am I right, my Lord?" You ask. The room is quiet as your information is absorbed.
"Yes." He agrees, eyes filled with intrigue, "We were... concerned about any acts of retaliation to our house after this ruling, and though it hasn't come yet, we need to be prepared."
You nod. "When the betrothal was annulled, they were distraught." you say honestly, catching the guarding of several glances, "Not for some attachment to me, mind you. Feyd-Rautha was the worst of them when it came to the dissolution of our engagement, but the truth is simply that Harkonnens do not like when their toys are taken away from them."
At the silence, you push forward, "Thufir Hawat has been tutoring me; I understand that the majority of the trading exports from Caladan are agriculture - fine wine and rice?"
"Yes." Paul speaks up from beside his father. You nod, the chain along your headdress chiming slightly as you hold his stare for a moment. You wet your lips, "The Baron could easily flood the galactic market with cheap petroleum with almost no externalities for himself. An influx of cheap fuel like that could disrupt the transportation networks - the market would be saturated by the Harkonnens within days."
A moment as the information is taken in. "This would disrupt our direct trade access from our system to most others without use of the Spacing Guild." Thufir adds. The duke still looks at you, urging you to continue. You do.
"What I fear," you clasp your hands, "Is the vacuum left on Sabberon. There is no governing body now that my family has been eliminated." Your voice is cold, blunt; unemotional. "If Harkonnen boots hit ground there, they could take control of the planet's resources and exports. Harkonnen battalions could easily squash the insurgent groups there."
"Sabberon's industries are commercial fishing, fir, logging." Says a woman a few seats from you, leaning to find your gaze.
You turn, nodding, "Yes, perhaps, but I more mean the glacial deposits within our mountain ranges - they contain precious minerals and ores whose compounds are valuable for industrial applications." You say, clearing your throat as you set down the pneumatic tubes you'd prepared before the council, "I've documented, to the best of my ability, what I remember here. Feyd-Rautha knows about Sabberon; I believe it is fair to assume the Baron does, too."
In the lull of the moment, you think back to those days ago - Feyd’s hand on your neck, his smile black - You're mine to keep. There's plenty of life left for you to serve.
Paul leans forward, brows furrowed. "If that region is destabilized- or controlled by Harkonnens - we will lose our all our exports. Giving them access to the resources is bad enough, but an almost-monopoly on petroleum, spice, and the Space Trade Route?" His brows furrow and you fight the spark of intrigue that courses through you at his intelligence.
You nod, finding his eyes once again. Gurney Halleck speaks from diagonal you. "We need to consider our options carefully. If the Harkonnens make a move, we must be ready to respond, but acting first could have larger consequences."
Duke Leto nodded, his brow furrowed in thought. "Halleck's right. The Referendum is quickly approaching - the Landsraad will be redrawing the Trade negotiations then," his eyes flicker to you, "-and your arraignment is set for the same congress. We'll have to wait."
Dread fills you; The meeting ends with a sense of urgency - plans are drawn out to set more strategy meetings before the Referendum, you are requested to record and attend them. Then you escape very narrowly by insisting to Duncan Idaho that you must rest today and postpone your weapons training, which he mercifully agrees with.
By the time you return to your chambers, you are much too exhausted to seek lunch. Instead, you are asleep within minutes.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:
Your name calls to you.
You respond with a slight hum as you thread hands through hair; foggily, birds chirp in the distance, the sun setting as streaks fly across the sky. Flakes falls gently around you, but it does not smell of snowfall; a bonfire must be lit nearby - you can hear the crackling, smell the heady cedar embers.
Your hair is tugged in a surprising manner and you gasp, catching the flicker in green eyes when you bring your eyes back to the body before you. "That hurt." You say, no real malice in your voice.
The sound of your words is floating, faint, as a hand grips your jaw, tilting it up. "I'm very sorry," he says, not even trying to cover the lie, "Let me ease the pain.” A whisper, gentle against your lips. A faint chuckle when he nips down your exposed neck; His hands are incredibly daring, slipping your dress over your head until you're bare for him and the forest. The breeze of springtime is chill and disarming against your flesh as his fingers trace you.
You feel nothing but arousal as he sinks lower, lips painting his way up your thighs, biting gently into the meat of your flesh; A swat to the top of his head and a short groan from him in response as you bite back a smile.
"Paul," you whisper, "come back to me."
He listens, though he usually doesn't. His lips are replaced by his hips as he rolls them against your aching core; a gentle moan that echoes through the air. It is chilly, but his skin is warm. His lips are warm.
"but I'm here, aren't I?" He asks, eyes staring into yours, "I'm always here."
He slides into you with a groan, his fist thudding against the trunk of the tree behind your head. You let out a long whimper, arousal consuming you as your back arches. Any semblance of chivalry is gone when he starts to move; A hand sneaking up from your hip, over your breasts, pinching a pert nipple before rising, fingers wanting, to grip around the necklace that lies on your chest.
A finger traces over the emblem - a hawk, blue and shining, over your sweat-sheened, thundering chest.
Barely a moment before he's ripping with force; the necklace breaks and falls apart, stones and pearls rolling over your bare torso and onto the sheet below you.
Muttering something about needing you bare for him - you can't quite catch it for all you know is pleasure as he starts to roll his hips into you. His hand snakes up further once having freed your neck; wrapping around your throat. He is not gentle, he is not slow; because he is your husband, and he knows you like the back of his hand. A groan from his lips as his hand squeezes over your neck, your gasp of ecstasy swallowed by his tongue. A whispered phrase, over and over, spilling from your lips and his - lulling you into a state of euphoria as his body rocks with yours.
"I'm yours."
Something rouses you from sleep, much quicker this time, and you wake with a start. Broad daylight streams through your chamber windows when your eyes open, your heart thundering as you shift on the sheets. A blurry form comes into view, fluffing the untouched pillow beside you on the bed.
"Bad dream again, my lady?" Hestia asks as she sets down a fresh set of clothing; you swallow your and wince at your dry throat, heart thudding. Bad dream... You can feel your face flood with embarrassment.
You'd rather be caught dead than admit what you'd just dreamt, so instead you push your hair from your face, fanning your cheeks. "Yes." You croak, accepting the glass of water she offers you. The sky is sunny - not a single raincloud - and suddenly your chambers feel heavy, tight.
"I need some fresh air."
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·..·:
The midday sun casts a short shadow as Paul walks along the meadow.
The breeze is much more permanent down by the shore; he brushes strands away from his eyes. It's only a few hours until he should be back in the chambers with his father, helping draw plans for the upcoming Referendum, but he needs some fresh air.
His mind is stuck high above him, recalling the Strategy Council meeting. Paul would be struck dead a liar if he were to say you were not one of the most intelligent women he's met; after this morning, there is nothing much else he has been able to think of. The growing bud of admiration sprouts in him, considering your predisposition to violence and solitude.
Paul almost feels foolish for how blinded he was - if war is really on the horizon, he supposes it's very lucky that House Atreides took you in. If not for your capabilities and sharp intellect, then for your claim to Sabberon; Harkonnen power in that region would be detrimental in a war.
It’s now as important as ever that Paul ensures you remain on the Atreides’ side, should this war come; a burden to hold you should you somehow wish to return to the black embrace of Giedi Prime, but one he will have to keep.
You are too valuable to his House to let you go over trivial things. Politics are often two way streets; you will help them with your insights and they will protect you.
For a moment, he sees that lush green forest again; a woodpecker against bark, your hands sliding into his as you lean him back against the trunk of a tree, the smell of smoke, an explosion on the horizon.
Paul sighs harshly.
He's not sure if it was a smart decision to tell his mother about these dreams instead of his father; skepticism rolls over him in droves as his feet trudge over the cliff and down, closer to the beach. Paul loves his mother, but he is not naive to the manipulative nature of the Bene Gesserit - indeed, his entire existence is a product of their breeding program, and he is almost certain it is again why the Houses were ordered for you to be spared and betrothed to him.
A small whisper in the back of his mind, the sickly voice of that Reverend Mother those years ago: Two candidates... Paul may one day be one of them.
The skittering of a rabbit through the grass and under a rock calls his attention to the path, his jaw clenched tight.
There is a small alcove - one of many below the cliffs which hold a number of tidepools small and large - on his path to the beach that catches his eye, just on the left. A soft smile grows on his weary lips. When he was younger, he often times used to play in these alcoves with the few other children his age in the castle, swimming, playing hide-and-seek, sparring with wooden daggers.
His feet take him into the alcove without any hesitation, and it isn't until he's into the shade that he sees the figure seated among the pools.
You're wearing the same clothing you'd donned at the Strategy Council, your feet dipped into the shallow waters, back rigid as you turn to him. Even through the waves that lap against the rocks in this alcove, the silence that has lingered between you since Paul had gifted you the heirloom is thick and taunting him.
With a tentative swallow, Paul takes a few steps closer. "I hadn't expected to find you here." His voice is carefully neutral, honest.
You stare from somewhere beyond the gauzy veil; your fingers twitch towards the blade on your hip. "Nor I, you," you reply coolly. The silence is uneasy; Paul, for his pride, does not wish to stay and endure this kind of agony, but he knows better.
He doesn't ask if you mind if he joins you, because he knows that you would mind. He sits down anyway, leaving a wide berth of space between you.
He can see you bristle, stiffening as he lowers himself to sit across from you - he supposes he can’t blame you.
You cradle your hand peculiarly as you look over the tide pool that he slowly dips his feet into, discarding his shoes on his right. The pain is almost palpable in your silence as he looks down at where you rub the skin of your hand, swollen and red.
“I assume you found the crabs.” He observes. There is a headdress of jewelry adorning your veil today that looks quite heavy when you move - the delicate metal pendants chime when you turn your head to look at him, a hint of surprise laced into your posture.
“I did.” You agree, showing him your blistered, irritated hand; He winces more for your sake than in true surprise before letting his eyes roam. Moss grows in clumps throughout the rocky pools, his eyes searching for the stalky root that grows naturally just outside the reach of the water- with a quick tug, the plant nearest to him is ripped out.
“You can use this plant here.” He hands you the root of the stalk, gesturing for you to take it. Hesitantly, as if sensing a trap, you do; He nods. “Chew it.”
You do nothing but breathe at him for a moment - if he could see your eyes, he’s sure he would find disbelief. Skepticism.
”It soothes the itch and the pain. Chew it and spit it onto your palm.” He orders, losing patience. "It's not poisonous." He affirms, lifting a brow at you. I'm not trying to kill you, he almost says; but something in him stops the words before they leave his mouth.
He swears he hears a huff before the root disappears under your veil; he can just make out the shape of your teeth, biting down apprehensively on the stalk, before starting to chew. Your eyes flicker to him and he watches expectantly - from years of habit, he is used to the milky taste, but he remembers how unpleasant it can be.
When you spit it out onto your palm, your eyes flicker up to stare at him, as if questioning if you were doing it right. Barely seen through your veil, he almost feels his face heat up; A trail of spit falls from your lips slowly and he is harshly reminded of the dream he'd woken up from this very morning.
He urges the thought away, feeling a sense of panic, as if you could read his mind. So instead, Paul turns to watch the waves lap idly against his feet as you rub the mixture into your palm.
"How did you know to do that?" You ask, your voice curious. Your fingers not occupied with the paste push against the spongy moss; he's reminded of that first day, when you'd mentioned never seeing plants like it.
Squinting against the sunshine as he looks out onto the beach, his left shoulder shrugs. "I used to get pinched a lot when I was a kid."
You don't necessarily laugh, but there's an exhalation from your nose that makes his own lips curve slightly. When you reach to rinse your hand in the pool before you, the angry skin has returned to its glowing health. In the moment of silence, waves crashing very quietly within the cove and he hears the unmistakable rumble of your stomach.
He must learn to live with you, he reminds himself. Be kind, earn trust.
"Are you hungry?" He asks suddenly, clearing his throat. Your hand has taken to drawing idle circles in the tidepool when you shrug, "I slept through lunch today."
A moment of hesitation before he looks over his shoulder at you. He pulls out the food that he'd taken from the kitchen - apples, crackers, some imported cheese, sparkling juice from the vineyards.
"This was all for you?" You ask, incredulously. Paul bristles defensively, giving you a look, "I was hungry."
There's something very foreign to him about what's happening; with a hard blink, he thinks back to the last week, when all he could see when he looked at you was red. The council meeting today left him with a few more questions than he'd expected - it could be true, what you said about your family and the Harkonnens.
"If I may confess," Your voice is light as you look down sheepishly; Paul's attention falls to you. "The veils have never made it easy to enjoy a long supper. They tangle in my hair no matter how it's styled, anyways."
Paul huffs a short laugh despite himself - a hint of a joke, from you? He has known many women in his life to wear veils, but never in a custom such as yours; to not remove it in front of anybody for months and months of mourning - He cannot fathom how bizarre a change it must be, even if it is how you were raised.
So when your hands raise, he does not expect them to go towards the hem of the fabric.
And the moment the veil slides from your head, he's turning his head sharply away; What in the hell are you doing? His heart beats hard, despite himself. In his surprise, he cannot find words.
"I don't mean to shock you." You say suddenly, and your voice seems very close. "Truth be told, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wear these still."
He stares down at the moss and dark rock that you sit upon; thoughts whirl in his head until you throw kindle to the fire. "You don't have to look away, my Lord. I'm still the same beast as before."
He does look, after that. He stares at you - really you - no fabric to cover the slope of your nose, the curve of your chin, the round of your cheeks - the way your eyebrows move over the most expressive eyes he's ever seen. Your hair is much more beautiful like this - textured, uncovered, being blown gently by the sea breeze. He wonders if Feyd-Rautha enjoyed your hair, unique as it likely was on a planet full of hairless beings.
He schools himself. Normally, he'd be truthfully ecstatic to see that he has such a beautiful bride-to-be; yet it just serves to wash over another pang in his stomach. I'm still the same beast as before.
There is some inevitability to your gaze - disfavored to him, but perceptive, knowing. The sound of a saw must be known by a tree, Dr. Yueh once told him. Perhaps that is true, and perhaps that is why Paul stares at you, the sense of mistrust having mingled with a new sense of dread, of regret.
You are no beast to me, he should say, but he doesn't; he knows better than to lie. "Why did you take it off?" He asks instead, still slightly astonished. You blink; heavens, your lashes are long, they kiss your cheeks.
"I can't eat with it on, and I'm quite hungry." you reason, reaching for some of the cheese between you.
"I thought you wore them for seven months." He states, tilting his head, as you begin to eat, "The anthropologists in the video said-"
"-Seven months?" You interrupt, voice more animated than he's ever heard; it nearly startles him, the youth in your voice, the life. "That's a very long time. It's only been three weeks and I'd already like to burn them."
Confusion must paint his expression, for your face changes sheepishly. "Forgive me, I am not well-versed in my own customs." Your voice is stony, a quick change from your previous cadence. His brows furrow.
"My family did not often uphold many of the old religion's traditions, from what I remember. I was educated by the Bene Gesserit as my mother wished when I was young, and our family adopted their ways in replacement of the heritage religion. I was eighteen when I left Sabberon, but our castle was so full of visitors that we would often forgo the customs of my father's family."
This is certainly not what Paul expected - why, then, have you been wearing the veil so devotedly? Your voice is regretful and if he didn't know any better, your voice was wary when mentioning the Bene Gesserit.
"I have a book," He clears his throat when you look at him, confused. "If you- if you want to read more about it."
You fix him with a look, "A book?"
"About your family's customs. We thought it would be pertinent to know what your courting traditions are." He reasons. "If we are to marry, it should be honorable for both of us."
It's as if his words send you into your own mind; your eyes become distant, he can see it clearly now that the veil is gone. You're deep in thought for a few moments, but he's unsure how to pull you from those cold depths of your own thoughts. "Oh." you say, voice once again that blank, cold tone - as if a wall had been snapped up suddenly. " I only saw the women of my family wear the veils once, when my sister died. I can't remember how long they wore them."
This is a surprise to him, as his eyes find the necklace you wear around your neck. They shoot up to you just as quick, searching your face for any emotion. He finds none.
I shall wear it like a dog.
"The veil was not your choice?" He breathes, surprised. You shake your head, "I just very recently found myself able to make choices for myself for the first time in many years," You gesture to the veil that lies with its adorning metal headpiece to your left, "taking it off is one of them. Feyd-Rautha did not wish for me to wear anything from my home, but I am making the choice for myself now."
The reminder of your former home is almost jolting to Paul; when you arrived on Caladan, Duncan's arm still bleeding with the result of your fight, Paul had seen a Harkonnen. A wolf, in sheep's clothing.
Now, perhaps the Caladan air has changed you; Though you do not look a bit well-rested, there are healing wounds on your arms - wounds that make his stomach turn when he wonders how you got them - and you are not so fervent or distrusting as you were those first few days. You walk with less wrath, more credence; You speak with your chambermaids freely, you take sparring lessons with Duncan after Paul's every day, and tutor in the mornings before he does. Your voice was strong, confident at the council this morning; as if born to take on such a role. He looks at you. You will make a good duchess one day.
Your eyes are large - searching his face and it occurs to him that perhaps this is also the first time you have seen him unobstructed. He lets you stare, taking in the silence and relishing secretly in its change in demeanor; no longer excruciating with the sentiment of shared disdain and mistrust. Something shifted this morning at the meeting: Mutual respect, or the roots to it. Understanding.
"May I ask you something?" He asks gently, looking at you seriously.
It is a beautiful collar. I shall wear it like a dog. Fatigued from his lessons, the council, the marriage, the prospect of war with the Harkonnens, of his dreams; his head feels like it's swimming. Your brows dip slightly, as if your hackles are rising. "Yes."
He swallows, "Do you choose to wear that pendant?"
You lick your lips in thought and he waits patiently. When you speak, it is careful, stoic. "Sometimes, we wear symbols not out of choice, but out of necessity."
This does not ease his conscience.
You, shockingly, speak up again after a few minutes in which you and he both eat the food laid before you silently; it occurs to Paul that this is the most you and him have spoken without being plagued by tense silences or passive-aggression - or been mediated by his parents as they ask you both questions at the supper table.
"Did you intend on drinking yourself drunk this afternoon?" You ask, brow lifted. He shakes his head, shrugging with one shoulder as he follows your gaze to the bottle that lies unopened in his bag. The whiplash you've given him switching subjects has left him unable to jest back.
Intending to be alone, Paul had not grabbed a glass, let alone two; he grasps the bottle, twisting on the cage atop it to begin to open it. "It's sparkling tea."
You hum, shrugging, "Shame. I've never tried wine." You say. Paul's eyes flicker to you in surprise; Had you not been offered wine at supper here? Had you never had it in your youth as a highborn?
"Not even when you were young?" He asks, shocked. You shake your head, a wistful smile gracing your lips; your hair is glossy even in the shade - Paul didn't expect it to be such a color, but suits you. "Never," you reply, "Where I come from, our preferred drinks are mead or ale, usually served warm in the winter. And..." You trail off, clearing your throat, "On Giedi Prime they favor a kind of liquor made from anise - you know, the spice?" You ask. He nods. "It's much too bitter and strong," you continue, your voice tinged with a similar bitterness. "I tried not to drink it when I could."
Paul looks out to the ocean - clouds have started to roll in, and the air feels thicker. It'll rain this evening, then. "In the South, all that grows are fields and fields of vines," He explains, recalling the last trip with his father to the South. "They make all kinds of fine wine there. Sweet, sparkling, aged."
You hum, looking out to the ocean as well, your eyes clouded with thought.
The lunch passes by in intermediate silence after this: Both you and Paul are insatiable, and in minutes the food is nearly gone. Besides, he is well consumed with his own thoughts to give him the company you do not provide.
Though as you continue on, clearly trying your hardest to remain amiable with him, a sense of regret bubbles in his chest.
"I owe you an apology." He starts out of the blue, mouth dry. You jump slightly at his sudden voice, but he refuses to look at you as he continues, "I've been acting like a child." This causes a flicker of surprise through your features; in his peripheral, you turn to him.
"I didn't expect for it to happen like this." He lifts a corner of his mouth mirthlessly, emotionless as he stares out to the ocean- an understatement on his part, and surely in the eyes of you, but it's true.
Perhaps it is not polite to admit to your betrothed that you loathed the idea of wedding them, but he knows the feeling is more than mutual.
He's not usually one for so many words, but they come forth very easily in the quiet of the cove. "I was furious with how things worked out, and I was shocked, but- that doesn't excuse how I've treated you." You don't say anything, but he can feel how tense you've grown - his own shoulders are tense, his jaw tight as he runs a hand over his face.
You have every reason to hate the Harkonnens just as much as they do.
The thunderclouds loom in the horizon despite the sunny sky just outside the alcove.
In a moment of resignation, he says your first name; Never having said it out loud, it comes out as a murmur on his lips, a small hymn that makes your eyes snap to his immediately. "We didn't choose this path, but we can choose how we walk it together."
Your breathing is heavy with emotion, but he is not naive enough to believe it is tears - "Yes, we can." You finally say, your voice dispassionate, withdrawn. He looks out where your gaze hits the crashing waves, staring at the foamy white caps upon the ocean.
"I swear I won't disrespect you again." He says firmly.
It's a beat before you decide to speak, during which you lift your feet from the water, curling them under you.
"Thank you." Your response is curt, eyes sullen, "But don't make promises you can't keep, Paul." He expected this much. "I've had my fill of broken vows."
You aren't hostile in your words; instead they are melancholy, as if a dreary wind had snuck its way into the little alcove. Paul stares down at the rock, where another small crab treks across the terrain, rocking in the gentle water tides.
He knows you’re right, and he's soon filled with the same sense of dread that he's felt after each dream; the same melancholy which enveloped you as you rise, preparing to walk back to the castle.
You walk together sullenly, little more than a few words escaping either of you as you go. By the time you enter the main gates, fat raindrops are falling on Paul's face and sticking to his lashes.
You, likewise, duck from the rain, your hair pelted with water and sliding over your face like the tears you'd never dare give.
But you don't put the veil back on.

First Meet Event Chart Notes (relationships/ friendships)☀️💐💛
☀️💐💛 So what is a relationship event chart/ first meet chart?
Many people use a natal chart for the time and day you meet someone as the start of your relationship or friendship. It shows first impressions and also the possiblity to show how this relation will develop in the future. It can be used for any relation even business ones and is commonly used on the date a couple gets married to show how the marriage will be. Since its a natal chart it can also have transits applied to it and you can even overlap it with your natal chart. Any tight conjunctions between sensitive points and planets like the nodes, asc, dsc, mc ,ic , chiron, vertex, venus , saturn and especially the moon in the chart or overlapped onto your natal can show that the meeting was fated/ has a higher purpose.
☀️💐💛 What do the planets mean in this chart?
Asc- First impression and the overall vibes of the relationship. How other people see you two. Any planets conjunct the ascendant will be strongly felt by both people at first sight. Where the house ruler falls will show where you two might bond and give a deeper look to where you met.
Dsc- How you two view relationships and how you felt near each other. Can show yalls dynamic when yall are together.
Sun- Some say that this can represent the masculine in the relationship and honestly I feel like I agree. It also shows the main purpose of yalls relationship and what topic it circles around. For example- In the 11th house you guys might have formed a relationship through your friends. Or yall may become really close friends and thats where yall tend to hangout the most: with a community.
Moon- The most important planet in this chart since its so fast moving. It will represent (in some cases the woman) and the emotional dynamic of you two. Look for applying and seperating aspects as well. Its said that negative aspects that are applying will be more difficult to deal with than a seperating aspect. Having moon conjunct significant points like the asc- dsc axis, vertex, or asteroids like juno, psyche, destinn, and valentine can show a destined meet. This also applys if event chart conjuncts the planets/asteroids when overlapped to your natal chart.
Venus- How you two feel about love in the moment. How you two will show you love for each other. For romantic encounters having it on a axis or in the 5th, 7th,8th, or 12th is common for romantic relationships. Aspects to the moon and mars will be important as well.
Mars- Overall where you two will be action oriented together. Where you two might experience arguements but also have the most passion for each other.
Mercury- In my opinion the most important planet in this chart for relationship(goes for any relation chart tbh). Its gonna show how the communication between you two will be at first meet( if yall even did talk). Sensitive signs like pisces might show that yall were shy and in your own head. Maybe yall didnt talk. A sign like saggitarius might show that yall thought one or the other is a very lively person or even really funny. Maybe opinionated as well. Positive aspects in my opinion to mercury will show that through communication yall can over come many hurdles.
Saturn- Where yall are going to experience difficulties and obstacles. Maybe the side where you felt restricted to express at first meeting. The karmic reason on why yall where brought together. Conjunctions to sensitive points or squares to saturn might not be the easiest relationship to experience or might have a more painful lesson to teach you. Positive aspects to saturn, however, will give both the ability to get over the harshest placements.
Uranus- Will represent something sudden or unpredictable. If its conjunct the ascendant it can show that when yall first met it was out of the blue but left a big mark on you. Will leave you intrigued and feeling electric especially if accompanied by a love asteroid/ planet.
Neptune- Where yall fantasize about each other or maybe what yall never showed each other at first meeting.
Pluto- Where yall intrigued each other/ found mysterious about the other person. Shows where the relationship could get destructive/ transformative.
Chiron- What scars yall are meant to heal together. What pain will yall experience together and how will yall overcome it? Also shows the baggage yall carried when yall first met.
North Node/ South Node- Purpose or destiny of the relationship. Why did you two meet and can show divine guidance/ purpose. Any conjunctions between the axis, vertex, saturn, moon, venus, or your natal chart will be very important. Two asteroids that ive notice can be impactful as well with the nodes are valentine(447) or destinn(6583).
Vertex- Fated encounters and divine timing. Will show if your meeting is written in the sky already. Also shows where you might experience synchronicities if conjunct sensitive points. If overlapped with your natal chart and conjuncts those points as well it will show that this relation has a higher purpose.
☀️💐💛My observations
- I one time had saturn conjunct south node, pluto and vertex in the 4th house square chiron in the 7th with my old crush in middle school and it was the most painful experience that i ever went through. Trying to get over him but I just couldnt because I was stuck for some reason. We kept repeating the same hurtful behaviors over and over. Not to mention it was in capricorn and when I overlapped it to my natal, the stellium conjuncted my natal venus. It definitely transformed me and was something that completely changed me as a person. I dont regret it at all though because im so much stronger now.
- Your ascendant for sure gives first impressions and the feeling of the relation. I have a cancer ascendant with my best friend, and when I first met him two years ago I felt instantly comfortable with him. Hes so sweet and probably one of the only guys whose never upset me in anyway. He truly does feel like my brother and we’ve always been protective of each other as well.
- We also have sun(in the 5th) venus, and mercury(in the 6th) in saggitarius and we met when we were having fun together as a group in choir. It was during a social and I just thought he was so funny and we just naturally became friends. We have so many laughs together and it feels so unserious and positive I love it. Not to mention we can talk about almost anything togther.
- We also had vertex in the 5th at a critical degree(29) and hes one of my most cherished friendship.
- My old crush and I had a virgo rising at a aries degree. When I met him back in 6th grade I thought he was really young looking(even for a 6th grader) and felt criticised when I talked to him. We had a bickering relation and had that love-hate feel for years.
- With him we also had a 12th house stellium of venus, mars, sun, and mercury. I swear we always used to find a way to trigger each other even if we didnt mean to. For years it was just subconcious grudges and unexplained patterns of behavior that we couldnt get past.
- Venus and Mars conjuncted the ascendant with him and so many people used to ship us together. It conjuncted my natal saturn and I had a long crush of 3 years on him lol. It was conjuncted in the 11th house and I couldnt escape him because of mutual friends lol.
- So my recent crush and I have taurus ascendant and we met while rushing to get in line to get food in the cafeteria at school. The ascendant has uranus and asteroid valentine conjunct and omg I literally felt love at first sight when I caught his eyes. Literally the definition of beautiful stranger. There was definitely an air of sensuality atleast from my side. I dont know how it affected him but the ascendant and valentine and uranus falls in my natal 8th house so you can already tell how struck I am.
- We also have scorpio moon exactly conjunct the descendant and the amount of unholy thoughts I had at first sight bro it was bad. The thing is, my natal scorpio moon, lust, lilith, and psyche is exactly conjunct the event chart descendant and moon. The feelings were so strong for me at first meeting. Kind of obsessive and posessive as well. Also we were both really quiet around each other. He pulled me in because of his mysterious aura that i couldnt get a grip on hes kind of a loner and always has his airpods in. Like I just felt a certain way around him and it intrugued meee.
- Something that made it feel fated was that we have north node in the 12th house conjunct chiron and south node conjunct vertex. When overlapped with my natal chart the north node and chiron is exactly conjunct my natal descendant in aries and south node and vertex conjunct my natal Libra ascendant. Also another reason of love at first sight is hes for sure my physical type. After I saw him that day I keep running into him like at the counslers office, on my way to class, at the lunch line. Its kinda odd because we’ve had the same lunch period for the whole year and I never ran into him until now. I feel like theres a higher purpose for us meeting but for now ill just be ok with a hallway crush.
- We have sun, mercury, saturn, and neptune in pisces in the 11th house and I always felt to scared and shy to talk to him because hes kind of always in his own energy. Headphones in with a somber aura. He looks like a wounded person. I have a feeling that hes not who he presents himself to either. Thats why I dont wanna approach him. Hes also a year older than me lol ( sun conjunct saturn and venus and mars in the 10th).
- I dont know if the attraction is mutual, but to tell, I feel like you can by seeing how it overlaps with natal charts. It conjuncts my sensitive points so obviously I felt thrown off my feet by him.
- We have 1st house ruler venus conjunct 7th house ruler mars in the 10th house conjunct the midheaven. However it froms a t-square with uranus and jupiter in the 12th with moon in the 7th. I feel like there must have been something on both sides but difference in values since venus and mars are in aquarius. Hes older than me and we ran into each other for the second time when planning to take college classes in the summer at the counslers office. Overall I found his ambition attractive and I can tell hes smart.
- Planetary geometry will play a huge role in the dynamic and struggles of the relationship as well. Look out for t-squares, grand squares, grand trines, and more.
☀️💐💛I hope yall enjoyed I will release more about this if yall enjoyed and also give yall updates on the crush🤭

pls do "the story of us" for ur gojo x taylor swift series 🙏🙏
the story of us
satoru gojo x f!reader
**part of my satoru as taylor swift songs series
content: gojo is ur roommates best friend, he is annoying (more teen gojo I am arrogant bastard vibes then sweetie teacher baby gojo), hoes are fighting, hoes are in the most complicated situationship on the planet earth, mistletoe, ice skating, sukuna as an annoying ex, mysterious evil dad figure for gojo
an: proof im the most annoying writer ever. made a poll for taylor as gojo to, for a second time now, ignore those options and write a completely different songs. sincerest apologies but gojo as taylor fans come get yall juice.
--
“Good morning, you hag.” Satoru states, in a fell swoop, crashing any hopes you had of having a good morning.
“Good morning, you garden troll.” you respond.
You rub the sleep out of your eyes, rummaging through the cabinets for a bowl, as he jumps up off the couch and joins you in the kitchen, keen and eager to annoy you bright and early in the morning.
He’s leaning on the granite countertops at your side, his blue eyes peering over those god awful sunglasses he’s always intent on wearing - despite the fact that it’s quite literally raining outside - and gives you a jeering smile.
“So, do all girls wear granny nightgowns or is it just you?” he asks, twisting the end of your pigtail braids in his hair. You immediately smack his hand off and glare, turning around to reach for the milk.
“Do all boys have tiny dicks and overcompensate with a shitty personality or is it just you?” you iterate back, earning a satisfying glare back from him.
With his snow white hair and annoyingly glimmering blue eyes, your roommate's best friend, Satoru Gojo, is quite literally the biggest nuisance you’ve ever met in your life. Clearly a rich kid, trust fund type, you can tell that Satoru, in earnest, has never worked a day in his life. And his lack of tact and self awareness truly reflects that.
It’s embedded deep in the way that he acts. Because Satoru saunters from place to place, showing up at your apartment with no consideration or respect for you and Suguru, bats his pretty eyes at his professors when he’s failing, flirts with girls before he cheats off of their tests, and the list goes on and on.
One thing is clear. That he’s a spineless, pathetic little manchild.
And you’re not sure why, what it is specifically about you, but he’s clearly made it his personal mission in life to antagonize and irritate you.Maybe it’s the fact that you yelled at him the first time he ever showed up in this apartment, that you couldn’t help but disagree with every word that came out of his mouth, that at his core he just agitated you - but it led you to this horrible predicament that you’re in now.
That you ended up having to room with Suguru, when Sukuna dumped you and kicked you out. And that, of course, the universe was always in your favor, and you ended up at the one place Satoru was when he wasn’t shamelessly flirting with any living organism, which was right outside your room.
Right on cue, the front door slams open and Suguru’s barging in, wildly out of breath and panting. His usual fixed, pristine bun is in a mess, his pupils wide and dilated as he looks at the two of you.
“Fucking perfect!” he pants, leaning down on his knees and trying to catch his breath.
“G’morning Suguru. You okay, there?” you ask, giving him a strange look.
“Okay, okay. You guys are dating.”
“Huh?” you both ask, eyes boggling out of your heads.
“You’re dating. Be-be in love, I don’t know, be in love!” he shouts, immediately running back out of the door and slamming the door shut.
You and Satoru give each other a look before shrugging, returning back to your bowl of cereal and Gojo to his phone. And on cue, Suguru strolls back into the apartment, more calmly and with a girl at his side. His cheeks are still flushed in pink, the panting subsided but still present in his voice.
“Y/N, Satoru, this is Hiromi. Hiromi, this is my roommate Y/N and her boyfriend, Satoru.”
You swallow hard, realizing quickly what’s happening here. And out of the kindness of your heart, groan at the fact that you’re going to have to oblige.
Three months ago, you got dumped by Sukuna. Because as much as you and the two of you had moved past, he had finally exhausted all ends and had enough of you.
Quite literally, enough of you, because he went as far as packing your things and taking your key, fully intent on never letting you back in. And out of the kindness of his heart, one of your only friends - who was free of any attachments to Sukuna - had an empty room in his apartment that he offered to lease to you.
Suguru, naturally, was the perfect roommate. Always cleaned up after himself, offered to listen whenever you needed him, saved leftovers for you when you had a long day. Except for the stupid white haired plus one that came with him, it was perfect.
For you. Because while Suguru was all but willing to offer you the spot in the room, insisting that it never caused an issue, he might have been fibbing the truth to save your feelings. Something you found out from Satoru, who is naturally a loudmouth.
That since Suguru has a female roommate, you’ve put a damper on his…..romantic endeavors. Because they’re increasingly enthusiastic, so into him, until the shit hits the fan.
They find out that you’re his roommate. And you think it’s a little ridiculous, but they all cite the same reason for not talking to him past the second or third date. Because to them, there’s no way in hell that he isn’t crushing on you, that you don't cuddle at night, and that you definitely coddle each other in a way no one else does.
Because nothing is more ironic than losing a guy to the girl he lives with and they’d rather cut their losses before getting involved.
Which proves that Suguru must really like this girl. Because if he’s going this far, lying to her the second before she walks in, it must mean that he really wants her to stick around.
Is it moral? No. Is Suguru lonely? Yes.
“Hiromi. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Y/N.” you respond, setting your bowl down and extending a hand to her.
She gives you a warm smile back, laughing at Satoru flaunting some stupid line about chivalry before he presses a kiss on top of her knuckles. Satoru must be enjoying himself too much, because he’s now snaking his hand around your waist, leaning down to press his temple against yours.
“Would you like to stay for breakfast? Poor Suguru has third wheeled with us far enough.” he asks, as she politely nods in response.
You and Satoru lead Hiromi to the breakfast table - Satoru now eating your bowl of cereal - as Suguru starts setting out to make breakfast for all of you. You and Satoru sit side by side, sparing each other an awkward glance, as Hiromi shamelessly ogles you.
“So how long have you guys been dating?” Hiromi asks, politely folding her hands flat on the table.
“Well. Um, I moved here right after I broke up with my ex-boyfriend. He kind of left me with no place to live and I kind of met Satoru here. And then it just happened.” you mumble, cheeks turning pink.
Satoru, again, has no concept of personal boundaries. He slings his hand around your shoulders, planting a wet kiss on your cheeks, before responding to her.
“Don’t mind her, she just gets really shy when she talks about her feelings for me.”
“Satoru.”
“But rest assured, I promise you that you don’t have to worry about Suguru and Y/N, if that’s what you’re trying to pry about.”
Her face immediately goes pink, as you look over at Satoru, who flashes you a knowing smile and squeezes your shoulder.
“I-I’m sorry. I wasn’t trying to pry, I hope you understand. It’s just that…it’s kind of a weird situation. And I know that probably says more about my insecurities than anything but-”
You reach over, placing your hand over her folded ones.
“It’s a normal thing to be concerned about. If I was you, I probably would have asked a hundred berating questions already.”
“Yeah. She gets really possessive.” Gojo unhelpfully adds.
You shoot him a glare, before returning to look at her and smiling.
“But I promise, you have nothing to worry about. I-I don’t even think about Suguru like that. And we’re never here alone, Satoru’s always here with me.”
“Like you, I too am possessive over my girl. Despite the fact that she quite literally makes it so easy for us by wearing the most unflattering pajamas, I’ll be here to stamp out any budding feelings, if that makes you feel better.”
“Yeah. Satoru really knows how to take the romance out of a room. I know better than anyone.” you respond, earning a laugh from Hiromi as she releases that awkward tension in her shoulders.
You kick the tiny divots on the floor, patiently waiting for your matcha latte at the bar. Your anxiety is growing by the second, the unexpected morning rush and the heavy foot traffic outside indicating that you were going to be late to your morning class if your drink wasn’t made in the next few minutes.
You’re thrown out of your thoughts by a tapping on your shoulder, only to find a boy, with blonde hair and brown eyes smiling at you.
“I like your shirt.”
You look down, at your boygenius the record shirt, and look up to smile at him.
“Thank you! What’s your favorite song?”
“We’re In Love.” he responds, giving you a warm smile.
You’re not sure why, but hearing him say the words has the blood rushing to your cheeks. You hold your hand out to him, swallowing that deep warm pit in your throat.
“Y/N.”
“Kento. It’s nice to meet you.”
And really, the moment - your stupid coffee shop meet cute - comes crashing down when you hear that agitating, grating voice at your side.
“And I’m Satoru!” Satoru states, standing at your side and too blissfully happy for seven in the morning. You glare at him, as he gives you an annoyingly irritating smile.
“Your drink is here, babe.” Satoru states, holding your dark green matcha latte in his nimble hands. From the way it’s half full, you can tell he already downed half of it in the few seconds you were talking to Kento.
“Thank you.” you grate out, giving Kento an awkward smile.
“Well, Kento. It was nice meeting you but we have a class to get to.” Satoru adds.
He cocks his head to the side, blue eyes peeking over his sunglasses, as he looks at you.
“Ready to go?”
You groan, knowing internally that whatever shred of a moment you just had was gone, as you sigh.
“Yes. Bye Kento.”
You glare at him as you walk out of the store, Satoru reaching over to pull the hood of your rain jacket up, as the two of you start marching through the downpour. He’s walking at your side, sporting some very light clothes for the way it’s raining down.
“I don’t like matcha. We should start getting iced vanilla lattes.”
“I didn’t realize we were sharing. And that was really rude, Satoru.“
“Everything that’s yours is mine, sweetheart.”
“Really? What are the three numbers on the back of your credit card, boo boo bear?”
“666.” he responds, flicking the side of your cheek.
“That’s fitting.” you murmur back, as he slides the drink out of your hand, again.
You and Satoru march in silence, trudging through the puddles collecting in the holes of pavement, the silence enveloping the two of you.
And really, for what seems like the hundredth time, you’re racking your brain trying to figure Satoru Gojo out. You’re not sure what it is about him, what drives him to act the way he does, but every answer you find leaves you with a hundred more questions you want to answer.
In the few months you’ve been living with Suguru, you’ve been able to ascertain a few things.
First and foremost, there is no one Satoru Gojo loves more than his friends. From the way he affectionately talks about Suguru, and their hometown friend Shoko, it’s evident enough that whatever friendship he has with the two of them means the world to him.
Second, Satoru Gojo is extremely comfortable in his sense of self. From the way he carries himself, enthusiastically chats with strangers on the train and feels so comfortable stealing your lattes after the bar, you can tell that no one has tried to stomp that spirit out of him. Other people, more meek and timid like you perhaps, get that childlike wonder stamped out of them. But here Satoru Gojo is, at the ripe age of twenty-one, still sporting it like a proud badge he wears.
And third, Satoru Gojo loves to irritate you. You’re not sure what it is about you exactly, whether it’s the fact that you’re Suguru’s roommate so it leaves you off limits to any of his usual charming compliments he leaves for other girls, but Satoru treats you like no one else. Always pulling at the ends of your hair, “lovingly” making fun of your clothes, and obviously, stamping any chance you have of romantic endeavors.
Satoru swings the door open for you, walking all the way to the front of your class. He holds out a five dollar bill and gives you a cheeky grin.
“What for?”
“Thanks for the latte, princess.”
You glare, snatching the bill out of his hands.
“You’re welcome.”
Right on cue, a girl all but appears out of thin air at your side, giving you and Satoru sickly sweet smiles.
“Hi Satoru.”
Satoru’s leaning against the frame now, an irritating move you’ve seen him do countless times - one to show off his stupidly toned arms - as he leans down and smiles at her.
“Hi Sammy. How are you?”
“Pretty good, now that you’re here.” she responds, twisting the ends of her hair in between her fingers.
You fight the urge to gag as Satoru laughs, leaning forward to tuck the stray hairs by the side of her ear.
“Right, so. I’ll see you later, babe?” you ask Satoru, giving him a smile.
He looks over, glaring with his bright, angry blue eyes.
“Y/N.” he responds, tone warning.
“And Satoru, sweetheart? Do remember to grab toilet paper on the way home. Suguru is getting really tired of cleaning up your skid marks.” you respond, reaching forward to pinch his cheek and settling into your seat at the front, watching him seethe at the front door.
--
When you walk into the apartment, Satoru’s incessant comments are the final nail in the coffin on what might be the worst day ever.
“Ouch. I think I just went temporarily blind. You look horrible.” Satoru asks, momentarily taking his eyes off of the movie he was watching with Suguru and Hiromi.
And the comment - so pathetically hitting you the last place you needed it - is enough to send you crying in a fit of your tears, as you lock the door behind you.
Satoru looks over to find Suguru and Hiromi glaring at him, Suguru more angry and Hiromi more disappointed. He can’t pick which one is worse. Well actually, you crying in his face is the worst thing that happened in the past few minutes, but their reaction is right up there with them.
“What?” Satoru asks, shrugging.
“Satoru.” Suguru berates.
“What? I was just joking.”
“I don’t understand how you and Y/N are dating. I mean, you can hardly even call it that.” Hiromi states, looking at him rather unhelpfully.
Suguru’s eyes go wide at her side and Satoru swallows hard, thinking of his collateral. Because in earnest, Satoru’s not really sure what Suguru sees in Hiromi, why he would ever think this would be the best solution to his issue.
But when you followed Suguru’s lead, all Satoru could really do was oblige.
“That’s just how Y/N and I communicate. It’s our love language.” Satoru says, giving her a halfhearted smile.
“You know she hates it right?” Hiromi asks.
“Well, I don’t know about-”
“Who would want to wake up every morning and have someone just constantly berating them? Just teasing them, making fun of every little thing you say. And sure, it’s fun sometimes to banter with your partner but…it can’t really be easy for her. She doesn’t have many friends. And the one person who's supposed to like her being…rude can’t help either.” Hiromi adds.
“Well, I just…tease her because that’s how I know to talk to her. That’s just how I am. And she has plenty of friends.” Satoru responds.
“Not anymore. They’re all friends with Sukuna, who I’m positive she wants nothing to do with. It’s probably why she even tolerates you in the first place. Granted, I’m not trying to speak on your relationship but from what I’ve seen, it’s….you kind of have to make adjustments for her.” Hiromi states.
“I don’t know if that will-”
“Just be there with her. It’ll help her. I think deep down, she just wants someone to be there with her. At her side to support her.”
Satoru gives Suguru a glare, before obliging and knocking on your door. He takes a deep breath as he walks in, finding you slumped on the floor next to your vinyl player. The gray vinyl is scratching on the table, soft guitar music emanating from it as you lay on your side. Satoru follows suit, lying flat on the ground next to you until the two of you are face to face. And in earnest, Satoru feels horrible. At your pink eyes, flushed cheeks, and puffy skin. Because for god knows whatever reason, what he had said was enough to make you cry.
Satoru never understood it. Why people assign him so much importance when anything he’s ever had to say has been discarded all together. It’s why he’s unsure of what to say to you right now, when he’s never had to say anything at all.
“Hi Y/N.”
You stare back at him blankly, his blue eyes void of any of their usual excitement as he stares back at you.
“Are you okay?” he asks.
You divert your attention, the question so…agitating, that all you can do is watch your vinyl spin around on the table, at the little pin digging into the plate.
“Is um….I don’t really know how to do this whole…comforting thing. It’s kind of awkward. Is this that band you like?”
You give him a meek nod, which he smiles at, before squinting at the small print on the vinyl.
“Ah. I get it. You’re trying to be Cool About It. Whatever it is that’s bothering you.”
“That was lame. Even for you, Satoru.” you respond, wiping the snot off of your nose.
“Well, I personally think you’re hot. Being Cool About It was never going to be your thing either.” he responds.
He’s not sure what it is about what he said, but suddenly your face is falling and you’re kind of…glaring at him. You pull your hood up and turn away from him, because the embarrassment of having Satoru Gojo in your room pitying you right now would be the actual nail in the coffin before you went full on off your rocker crazy.
Satoru’s quick to move, now sitting crisscrossed near your head and looking down at you.
“Are you playing hard to get so I’ll call you hot again?”
“No. I’m trying to get you to stop pitying me.” you murmur back, pulling the hood over your face.
“I don’t pity you.”
You stand up, crossing your legs on the floor, as you turn to face him. And you know that Satoru in no way deserves any shape of the wrath that’s coming out of your mouth, but you can’t help it.
“You don’t?”
“Well, of course I-”
“Yes, Satoru, you do. Because really, you’re only here because Suguru or Hiromi asked you to be. They asked you to put whatever the fuck it is that you have going on inside your head and think for one fucking second how it is that you make me feel. When you make fun of me constantly, do every last thing to agitate me, quite literally flirt with every living microorganism on this goddamn planet but me. I know that you really, truly do not care. You’re just here because they asked you to be but god, please spare me of whatever shitty response you’re trying to muster up to make me feel better because there’s no point. I just feel horrible when I’m around you.” you shout.
You lean back against the back of your bed, your chest heaving, as you knot your fingers together and groan. Because if the day couldn’t get any worse, you just yelled at Satoru.
For no reason. After he tried to comfort you, in his own weird way.
He scoots up at your side, sliding his hand around your shoulder once again, and leaning your head against his shoulder. Your stupid tears are falling again as he rubs into your skin, the touch soft.
“All that because you’re mad I won’t flirt with you?” he murmurs.
“Of course that’s what you got out of it.”
He laughs, the lack of anger in his tone at your words soothing down the bouts of guilt in your chest.
“You’re not the type of girl I can flirt with.”
“Jeez. Thanks Satoru. You really know how to make a girl feel special.”
He reaches forward to pinch your nose, before continuing.
“I mean, I’m obviously a guy who lacks self-awareness or tact, in quite literally any conversation.”
“Naturally.” you respond.
He gives you a pointed glare, before continuing.
“But I have self awareness when it comes to these types of things. I know I shouldn’t flirt with you.” he responds.
“And why’s that? I’m too ugly of a hag for you?” you spit.
“No. You’re the type of girl who could take my heart and run off with it if I let you.”
You shrug his hand off your shoulder, rolling your eyes.
“You’re full of shit, Satoru Gojo. And corny as hell.”
“You know you’re no good for me, right?”
You look at him, at his deep, ocean blue eyes for the first time, filled with an emotion you can’t quite place.
“You’d put me in my place too fast. Maybe too eager, too curious to figure out what it is I’ve got going on up and here. And I don’t know the answers to that either, but you’d want to make me figure it out. Whatever mess of things going on, I-I’d want to fix it for you. And as nice as that sounds, you’d probably break any semblance of structure I’d have left the second you go running. Which is something even I can’t handle.” he responds, lifting his hand to take yours in it.
You cross link your fingers with his, linking your hands together. And try to place the emotion, that dragging sound in his voice.
It’s desperation.
“Why do you think I would leave?” you ask, looking down at your intertwined hands.
Satoru smiles in response, reaching forward to trace his fingers along the edge of your lips.
“You’ve just proved my point.”
And when he pads out of your room, you realize that once again, he’s left you with a hundred questions left to answer. But the one you’re sure of is this.
That the emotion that was welling in his deep, crystal blue eyes was impassioned. That it was real.
--
In the following weeks, things change between you and Satoru, but not too drastically. You’re not required to keep your show up for Hiromi too often, because she’s quite literally too enamored with Suguru to even think about the two of you, and Satoru Gojo stays the same way he is.
He steals your lattes, pulls your hair, lovingly calls you an old hag, and stamps out any hopes you have for romantic endeavors. But somewhere around the grayness of November, he doesn’t stop by your apartment for three days.
“Hey. Where’s Gojo?”
Suguru looks up from his phone, giving you the most obscene look you’ve ever seen him muster.
“Huh?”
“Gojo? Satoru Gojo? That gangly idiot that’s always hanging around here?”
“Yes. I’m well aware who he is, Y/N. Why are you asking?”
“Dunno. He’s always around and now he’s not. Are you sure he’s not dead in a ditch somewhere?” you ask.
“He might as well be. His dad is in town. Spending time with him.” he responds, turning back to his phone and looking away from you.
You frown, leaning against the counter, as you reach for your phone. And you’re not sure why you do it but you slide into your chat with him and start typing.
you: are you enjoying your father daughter time?
satoru: are you missing me?
you: missing the free lattes that come from going to the coffee shop with you :/
you: come hit on the girl at the paper lantern. im craving a matcha latte.
satoru: i would never waste a free drink on a matcha latte.
satoru: and quit trying to whore me out for free drinks.
you: then buy me one.
satoru: well played.
satoru: the ice skating rink, on sixteenth and rockfield. i’ll be there in an hour.
You smile gleefully, wrapping your scarf carefully around you, as you head out into the cold to the ice skating rink Satoru had picked out. And you catch the back of his snow white hair, leaning against the railing as you eye the big, bright Christmas tree at the center.
You walk up to his side, lacing your hand through his, as you turn and give him a smile. He returns the gesture, some part of his demeanor muted today, as he turns to you.
“Hi Y/N.”
“Satoru. Where’s my drink?”
Satoru rolls his eyes, before reaching for the two cups on the ground and handing you one.
“Your shitty matcha latte. As requested.”
You smile, wrapping your arms around the drink, as he leads you to the stand to get your skates. His hand is soft on the small of your back as you walk up to the girl giving out the shoes.
“Sizes?” she asks.
“Eight.” you respond.
“Eleven and a half.” Satoru provides, as the girl whisks off to grab your shoes.
“Eleven and a half? What are you, Bigfoot?” you respond.
“You know what they say. Big feet, big…”
“Ego. But we knew that already.” you respond.
The two of you take the skates and head over to the bench, Satoru too quick with his own skates that he’s suddenly tying yours and dragging you onto your feet. The two of you stand at the front of the tiny little opening, the sudden awkwardness of the situation dawning on you.
That you don’t know how to ice skate.
“What are we waiting for?” Satoru asks, hands on both of your shoulders as he stands behind you. He rests his chin on the top of your head, his breath tickling the hair on your scalp.
“The rink to open up. There’s a bunch of people, I don’t want to crash into them the second we get on.”
Satoru frowns, bringing his hands around your chin and lightly moving your face to his.
“Are the people in the room with us? There’s like nine people here. And four of them are under the age of seven.” he deadpans.
“I don’t want to knock over a kid.” you whine.
“Yeah, that would be goblin on troll crime.” Satoru responds.
“Am I the goblin or the troll?” you ask.
“Troll. Obviously.” he responds, bringing his hands around your waist as he lifts you onto the ice with him.
You’re suddenly wobbling too hard on your feet and holding onto his extended arms with a deathlike grip, the cold air biting your skin as your legs turn to noodles.
“Okay, Raggedy Anne. Face me.” he states, voice soft as he turns you towards him. His hands are locked in with yours, the hold firm as he smiles.
“Satoru.” you whine.
“Just try to glide with me, okay? Our goal is to get to that side of the rink, by the end of our game.”
“What’s our game?” you ask.
“We’re going to play twenty questions.” Satoru states, mimicking the gliding motion as he instructs you.
You follow his suit, clutching hard on his arm every time you wobble, as Satoru starts to distract you with the stupid game he’s intent on playing.
“Me first. Why did you text me?” Satoru asks.
“Just wanted to make sure you weren’t dead in a ditch somewhere. It was surprisingly peaceful for the past few days, so I knew you had to be in some type of mortal peril somewhere.” you respond.
Gojo hums in response, as you try hard to pick the hundreds of questions you have to ask Gojo.
“Where were you the past few days?” you ask.
“Did you want me there?” Satoru asks, tone hopeful.
“You’re supposed to answer before you ask again. And I’m not sure if want is the word. But…I don’t know. It’s weird not having you around. All quiet.” you respond.
“My dad’s in town. Was kind of busy.”
You hum in response, rolling over the words in your head.
“I did want you around.” you add, earning a smile from him.
The two of you skate in silence, the wobbling minimal now as you try to reach the railing at the end of the rink that Satoru had pointed out, right near the small, brightly decorated Christmas tree at the end of the rink.
“It’s your turn, Y/N.” Satoru reminds.
“Right. Do you like your dad?”
“No. What happened with Sukuna?”
You swallow hard, so caught off guard by the question that you fall straight into the ice. You must have been holding onto Satoru too hard because he goes tumbling down with you, lightly rubbing the spot on his head that made contact with the ice. You reach forward, cradling his head in your hands.
“Fuck. Sorry, Gojo. That caught me off guard.”
“That’s my bad, princess. It came out of nowhere.” he responds, standing up on his knees as he holds his hand out for you. He’s wiping the excess ice off the sides of your clothes and you mimic his motions.
The two of you start silently skating towards the end of the rink again, hands linked together, as you figure out the right words to say.
“I live with Suguru because of him. He wasn’t the best.”
“I know that much, Y/N.”
“He…kicked me out. Like, put all my things in a box, put them outside, and kept my key.”
His hand tighets in yours as you swallow hard and continue.
“Dunno. I guess he just kind of sucked. I was trying to convince myself I liked him, that we were in love for a really long time. I’d write him all these really long love letters, that he basically read days after the fact that I wrote them. He’d compliment me once in a while, but then I realized when it was only when he wanted something.” you respond, sighing.
Satoru doesn’t respond, only squeezes your hand in response to the entire bout of word vomit you just gave him.
“Why don’t you like your dad?” you ask.
“He thinks I’m perfect.” Satoru responds, sighing.
“Boo hoo.” you respond, joking.
He smiles in response, his hand lightly loosening in yours. You tighten your grip against his again, giving him your best smile.
“I’m joking, ‘Toru. What did you mean by that?”
“I just mean. He expects so much from me, because I’m his only son. And when I was a kid, he was really hard on me for it. Made me attend all these shitty classes by myself, isolated me from other kids because I was meant to be something great. And I obviously pulled away from him because of it. But then, he kind of…shifted. He was vying so hard for my attention now, that suddenly I became free of all blame, all faults.”
“Well, we both know that’s not true.”
He snorts, dragging you to the end of the railing by the Christmas tree, as you both lean against the little glass panes.
“I just wanted him to be real with me. Tell me when I was good, tell me when I was bad. Not where he was criticizing every move I made but not when he was praising all of them either.”
You nod, turning to your side to hold both of his hands in yours.
“Well, you’re shitty when you’re mean to me. But you’re nice when you’re like this.” you state.
He smiles, that stupid lopsided grin, as he brings his hands around your neck and pulls you in against him. His lips are soft and warm, though you’re not sure how, against your almost frostbitten, cold blue ones. But the warmth that’s blooming in your chest, under your skin, from his hands, from his lips on yours is enough to bring you down.
He pulls back, resting his forehead against yours as he places a light kiss to the tip of your pink nose.
“What was that for?” you ask, breathless.
“Mistletoe.” Satoru responds, pushing off the little railing and slowly skating away, waiting for him to join you.
You look up, fighting the urge to smile at the small little bundle of leaves and berries above you, as you skate out and join his hand to go around the rink.
--
There’s an incessant pounding on your door that wakes you up, as you pull on the closest jacket and your glasses as you pad to the door. You open up to find him there, half bored on his phone, as he looks up at you.
“Oh. Hey. Was the spare not under-”
He all but lurches forward, wrapping his hands around your neck as he presses his lips to yours. He’s all too eager, because he’s walking into you so fast that he’s all but pushed you up against the wall behind you, his lips hanging off yours as he smiles into your mouth.
“Y/N.” he hums, smiling into your face.
“Good morning to you too.”
He smiles, wrapping his hands around your wrist, as he leads you back to your bed, quickly peeling your hoodie off your frame as he tucks you into the bed with him. And instead of doing what you thought he was going to do, he’s tucking you tight against his frame, your face tucked into his clavicle, as he brings his arms around yours and holds you tight.
“Did you come all this way to cuddle?”
“I came all this way to kiss you. This is just a bonus.”
You burrow yourself into his skin, leaning your head against his, as your thousand questions swim around in your mind. On what you’re doing, on why he’s here, on if you can even ask.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“You have a weird, pinched up look on your pretty face. What is it?” he asks.
“Oh. I was just thinking.” you respond.
“About?”
“Um, what we’re doing.”
“We’re cuddling, silly.” Satoru responds, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of your forehead.
“I know. But what does that mean?”
Satoru brings his hands up around your face, cupping your cheeks in his hands as he smiles.
“It means that I just had a really annoying fight with my dad. And I just want to hold you and not think about it.” he responds.
“Oh. Okay, yeah.”
You burrow yourself back into his arms, the two of you a mess of tangled limbs as you hold onto each other. And you’re not sure why you start talking, but you’re filling the silent space with your voice.
“I saw Sukuna the other day.” you murmur.
Satoru brings his hands down, rubbing into the side of your arm as he hums in response.
“Was it okay?”
“Kind of stupid.” you murmur.
“Why?” he asks.
“He came up to me to ask if I was going to go to the end of year banquet that they hold for the seniors going into the masters program.”
“And?”
“I mean, I was planning on it. And then he just felt the need to warn me that he’s bringing his new girlfriend and it was really awkward. He asked me if I was bringing anyone and I said no, just for him to smile in response and then walk away.”
“You should have said you were bringing me.”
“I wasn’t aware that I was bringing you.”
“Well, now you are. Plus, my dad…he always gets on my back to go to shit like that since he’s one of the donors. At least now I’ll have something to do there.”
“And what’s that?”
“Annoy you!” he responds.
You reach forward to flick the side of his cheek, before reaching forward to push the hair off of his forehead. The touch must be somewhat soothing to him, because it coaxes him to talk, in the slightest.
“When I was a kid, my dad forced me to go to events like that. All the time. And when I was there…he’d always yell at me for all these different things. My hair was too messy, I wasn’t standing right, I was too loud.”
You brush your thumb on the skin of his cheek, before reaching forward to press a kiss to his skin.
“And after I kind of figured it all out, I was so…irritated that I ever listened. And I’ve tried to stamp it out, that voice telling me to be quiet all the time. But sometimes when I see him…I don’t know. It just comes flooding back.”
You prop your hands up against his chest, resting your head on top of your hands as you look down at him. His eyes are shut as he faces your ceiling, a hand resting behind his head while the other one is secured, firmly around you. In the ray of sunlight peering out of your window, you notice that Satoru has the smallest patch of freckles around his nose.
“I always wondered why you were like that. But somehow, this makes it better.”
“Huh?”
“You were always so…you that sometimes it made me jealous. That you had this unstoppable, vibrant spirit, that you probably had life so easy that no one had stamped it out of you.”
You reach forward, tracing the skin on his cheek, as you continue to talk.
“But this is better. Someone tried to do that to you and you didn’t let them. You’re not weak or timid like me, you don’t let people like that shut you up like I do.”
“You’re not weak or timid.” he responds, cupping the side of your face.
“Satoru.”
“You’ve always stood your ground. Especially when it comes to me.”
“Well, you’re you. Sukuna is…”
“Nothing. You can handle an idiot like Sukuna. And I’ll be there, if he tries to say anything to you and you need me.”
You halfheartedly nod.
“And I’ll be there. If you want to annoy me instead of talking to your dad.”
“I’ll take you up on that offer. Always.”
--
Satoru presses a kiss to your cheek before running out the door, late for his class. And when you turn on your heel, you find Suguru giving you a wide smile, with an almost teasing look on his face. You glare in response, moving past him to do the dishes.
“Do you need something, Suguru?”
“Are you guys dating?” he asks, resting his chin in his hands as he gives you a jeering smile.
“What’s it to you?” you ask.
“My best friend…my roommate…seems like a very big deal to me.”
“Well, we’re just talking. I don’t know if it’s official, but I think it’s exclusive.” you respond.
“It’s definitely exclusive. He’s liked you for a while.”
You snort, as he comes up at your side and starts drying the dishes.
“No, I’m serious! I promise, he’s not coming around this much just to see me. And I’m sure you’ll make him very happy. Keep him in his place.”
“That’s what he said.” you murmur, smiling.
“Just, don’t get too heated if you guys get into an argument. You’re both the most stubborn people I know, but don’t let that get in the way of anything.”
“Okay, I’ll definitely take relationship advice from someone who pathologically lies to his girlfriend everyday.”
Suguru yanks on the edge of ear and you splash a good amount of dishwater at him in response as you both laugh.
“I’ll have you know, that I told her almost like two days afterwards because I couldn’t stomach it.”
“Huh? Why didn’t you tell us?”
“It was just funny watching you guys try to be nice to each other. And then Hiromi was dead set on matchmaking the second she figured out Gojo was all but in love with you.”
You roll your eyes at him in response, as you turn out to walk to the coffee shop before your next class. And as you march to the coffee shop, music blaring in your headphones, you feel a tugging on your elbow as you almost walk in.
You turn around to find an older man, with blue eyes and light hair, smiling at you. And as you tug your headphones off and hear him talk, you know without a doubt that this has to be Satoru’s father.
“Are you Y/N L/N?” he asks, his hands folded perfectly against the crisp pressing off his suit.
“Sure. Who are you?” you ask, yanking your headphones off so they're resting around your ears.
“I’m Satoru’s father.”
“Oh, okay. Can I help you?” you asked, running through your thoughts as you think of what Satoru would want you to do most.
Walk away? Be polite? Insult him?
Insulting him is surely what you want to do. But knowing him, he wouldn’t even want you to talk to him for a second, so you should try your best to abort the conversation in its tracks.
“I’d like to talk to you about your intentions. With my son.” he responds.
“I'd love to do that. But I have to run to class, so I’ll have to go now.”
“Class? What’s your major?”
“Education.”
That must not be the answer he wanted, because he stiffens his jaw before talking again, which just builds onto another reason that this man irritates you.
“Right, well. I’ll be off then.” you respond, trying to move past him.
“Are you dating my son?”
“Not yet. But I think it’s headed that way.” you respond.
“Well, if you’re so intent on attending your class, here’s my phone number. I’d like for you to call me the second you’re out of your class so we can discuss more.” he states, handing you a shiny piece of cardstock.
You begrudgingly take it, shaking his hand as you all but sprint off to your class. But unbeknownst to you, Satoru was watching the entire thing play out from the window, with an ice matcha latte in hand just for you.
He trashes the cup as he walks out. He’s always thought matcha was disgusting anyways.
And three days later, you find Satoru in the library. In what might possibly, the most compromising of situations.
You’re a few weeks out from finals, the banquet at the end of the week, and buried with term papers that you need to write. Hence the need to procure your matcha latte, lock yourself in the library for the rest of the week, until you can go to the event with Satoru and let loose before you go home for break.
Except when you’re trekking through the library looking for a place to study, you find that a really large group is populating your usual prime spot near the window, with the big white board that you like to use.
But even more jarring than the stupid white board and spot you’re comfortable in, it’s who is taking up the spot. Because Sukuna and his friends are taking up the entire face and there’s a certain white haired idiot sitting all the way at the end, headphones over his ears as he types away on his laptop.
And you can hear your blood rushing in your ears as you walk up to him, all but yanking the headphones off your ears.
“Hi Satoru.”
“Hi Y/N.” he seethes back, matching the anger in your voice.
“I got you a drink, asshole.”
He looks down at your matcha latte, before looking back up at you and rolling his eyes.
“Always intent on not listening to me, aren’t you?”
“I learned from the best, asswipe.” you respond, marching off to the apartment and fighting down the angry tears that are falling out of your eyes.
--
With the load of finals behind you and the quietness that populates your apartment, you find yourself begrudgingly dragging yourself to the banquet. And curse yourself for letting Satoru convince you, for already putting in an RSVP so early that now you can’t take it away.
The room’s uncomfortably warm, the masses of people moving around each other, cheeks blushed pink from the drinks and flutes in all of their hands. You swipe one off of the tray as someone walks past, intent on filling that cold, awkward feeling in your chest with whatever warmth it can give you.
You take a spot near the corner of the room, a nice vantage point from where you can spot, eye who you can talk to first. Your partner from your English class is stuck talking to your professor, which is frankly a bleak option.
There’s the group of girls from your cohort, but they’re all talking to Sukuna and his girlfriend, which is a big no for you. And you’d love to talk to your advisor, but you’re positive occupying the solo spot on the wall is better than talking to the one professor that everyone hates.
And you spot Satoru, his white hair stark against the crowd, as he talks to Hiromi and Suguru. He’s all dressed up, his tie loose around his neck and the top buttons are undone. You suppose that’s as well as Satoru can present for an event like this anyways, and your heart stings at the premise.
Because there's nothing you want to do more than point it out. That everyone’s dressed up, but he can’t even be bothered to put himself together for this. And you want him to argue back, to sport that stupid shit eating grin he always uses when he argues with you.
It’s irritating. How much it’s killing you to not be with him.
You pull down the edges of your dress, trying to soothe through the creases that are lining on your green dress, as you try your best to stop that tense, uncomfortable feeling from settling in your skin.
On the most annoying cue ever, Sukuna walks up to stand by your side, two drinks in his hand. He gestures for you to take one, which you oblige, as you swallow the irritation on your tongue as he starts talking.
“Y/N.”
“Sukuna.”
“Did you poison my drink? Or are you morally above attempted murder?”
“I believe I am.”
“Shocking, given your track record.”
“Are you here alone?” he asks.
“What’s it to you?”
“It’s just that you RSVP'd for two people. Yet you’re the only one standing here.”
“Are you stalking me now?" you ask, eyeing him.
“Maybe a little bit. I was just curious to see who it was you were seeing now.”
“What’s it to you?”
“Just have to make sure that they take care of you. That’s all.” he states, shrugging
You roll your eyes, putting a sizable amount of distance between you two.
“That’s rich coming from you. Leaving me without a place to live is a real gesture of compassion, Sukuna.”
“Well, I think that-”
A girl, with short brown hair cuts the two of you off, as she excitedly points to the wallpaper above you.
“You’re both standing under the mistletoe!”
You look up, to find a small lock of the plant above the two of you, as you fight the urge to internally groan.
“Right, well. That’s my cue to leave.” you respond, setting the glass down on the table.
Sukuna wraps his fingers around your wrist, pulling you into him as you stumble on the edge of your heels.
“It’s just mistletoe. You have to honor it or that’s like…really shitty luck.” he states, giving you a smile.
“I’ll take my chances. It couldn't possibly be worse than this.”
“Look. I really hate being on bad terms. You were really important to me and I hate to think that you’re out there being mad at me.”
“Right, well. Get used to being disappointed then because I’m clear on where I stand.” you respond.
You make the motions to move again, as Sukuna yanks you back again. Except this time, Satoru’s at your side, nearly shoving him into the wall. He gives you a look, devoid of any emotion, as he adjusts his tie around his neck.
“You’re not going to kiss her.” he states, teetering on the edges of his heels. Like he’s almost bored, so disinterested in the conversation that he’s having with Sukuna right now.
“I was just joking. It wasn’t that serious, I wouldn’t even consider it honestly.” he states, as the words sting your ears. You don’t know whether to be relieved, offended, or extremely agitated by the premise of his comment.
“You’d be so lucky.” he snorts, as you swallow hard.
“Right. We are talking about the same girl, right?” he sneers.
Satoru groans, looking up to the sky, before taking his jacket off and handing it to you. You give him a confused look, to which he smiles, before turning back to Sukuna.
“Rather unfortunate that you chose to mess with the wrong girl. That and the fact that I have no semblance of manners when it comes to these types of things.”
And then Satoru swings straight for his nose, wincing and shaking his knuckles in the air as Sukuna slams into the wall behind him. There’s a loud gasp, head turning to look at the three of you as you swallow hard. There’s a small amount of bright, red blood falling out of his nose as Satoru gives him a shit eating grin.
“Thanks for holding it.” Satoru states, taking the jacket from your hands as the two of you watch Sukuna walk off into the side.
“Right, well-”
“Satoru.”
The two of you turn around to find his father, nose flaring and undoubtedly mad, as he appears at your side. Satoru storms out of the room, agitated, as you follow and run behind him. The air outside is significantly colder, snow sticking to the concrete.
“Are you okay?” you ask, the air so cold that you can see your breath in the air.
“Yes. Are you?” he asks back, turning around to look at you. He’s kicking the tiny flakes of snow in the ground, averting eye contact with you as he talks.
“Yeah. Now, I can yell at you.” you respond, shoving him.
“What’s your problem?”
“What’s yours?” he asks back, seething.
“You. You ignored me for like two days and then I found you in the library being all buddy buddy with Sukuna. And then you punch him in the face for no reason?”
“It wasn’t for no reason.”
“Right. Your hand just jerked through the air and just happened to hit his face.”
“What do you want me to say? That I’m sorry?”
You groan, bringing your hands up through your temples, as your frustration comes to a head.
“Why are you pretending this is nothing? Like we're nothing?” you scream, tears burning your eyes at you look at him.
“When did I say this was nothing?”
“’m fucking dying over here to be the person standing next to you, because there’s nowhere else I want to be, and instead I’m standing in the corner trying to avoid you like the plague.”
His eyes twitch, his hands almost fidgeting at your sides as you angrily wipe your tears off your cheeks and smudge the makeup pressed to your face.
“You…you’re so fucking aggravating. You’re mean to me, then you’re nice. You act like you love me, but then you don’t. Your best friend tells me that I basically mean the world to you and then your stupid dad ambushes me outside a coffee shop and basically insults me but-”
“What?” he states.
“What? I just like…don’t know what page you’re on. You make no fucking sense, you’re so..so hot and cold with me instead of just telling me what’s going on. If you didn’t like me anymore, you should have just said that instead of hurting my feelings.” you state, crossing your arms as you turn back from him.
He comes up at your side, eyes wide as he looks down at you. He quickly takes his jacket off, wrapping it around your shoulders as the tears stream down your eyes.
“What did my dad say to you? Was it at the coffee shop?” he whispers, hands braced on your shoulders.
“Huh? How’d you know that?”
“Just, tell me.”
“Well, I was going to get my latte. He kind of pulled me aside. Asked me what my intentions were with you. Made some weird backhanded comment about me being an education major and-”
“And?”
“Gave me his business card. Told me to call him because I kept trying to leave. I think I threw it in a trash can or something.”
Satoru groans, leaning his forehead against your shoulder, as he curses.
“Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.” he murmurs, eyes pinched in regret as he lifts his head back up.
“What?”
“Shit. I-I got mad at you. For talking to my dad, behind my back and not telling me. I thought…he was asking you for information about me and you were obliging. That you took his card so you could call him.”
“You watched that entire thing?”
“Yeah. And I saw you shove the card into your pocket as you walked away and I just got so angry that I-”
“That you what?”
“Hung out with Sukuna. To make you mad.”
You glare at him, shoving him again for good measure.
“You did what?”
“I was upset! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to it was just that-”
“You didn’t even think to ask me? You just had to be petty?” you scream, your frustration building.
His eyes go wide, as he swallows hard. He burrows his hands into his pockets, lifting them from your shoulders as he casts his head down. You can tell that his skin is burning, it’s turning slightly pink, as you realize that the reason the two of you weren’t here together, stupidly laughing at everyone, was because of a simple miscommunication.
“Satoru.” you groan, lifting your hand to your forehead.
“Y/N. I’m so sorry.”
“In what world was that fair to me? You didn’t even think to ask?”
Satoru takes both of your hands in his, lifting them up to cover his eyes with. Your knuckles are flat against his forehead, the ends of his hair tickling your skin.
“Y/N. I’m so shit at this type of stuff. You’re far too put together for me.”
“I’m not expecting you to be put together. Just to kind of…work with me here.” you murmur, as he rests his head against your frame again. You’re wrapping your arms around his torso, deflating into his touch.
“Yeah, well. All I know how to do is fight and-”
“If you say you’ll love me rather than fight with me, I’ll forgive you.”
“Huh?”
“Just promise. That you’ll try to love me. And forgive me before you turn to fighting.” you murmur, cupping his face in your hands.
“Y/N. I-”
“You have so many walls that I’m trying to break through. Just try to work with me here when I’m trying to do it.” you whisper.
“There you go. Doing that thing again.”
“Doing what?”
“Seeing the best in me. Making me want to be better.”
You smile, leaning your head to the side.
“Is that so bad?”
“No. No, just. Try to be patient with me? I know I’m really shitty at this type of thing but-”
“As long as you stick around. And don’t ignore me for five days like a fucking asshole, I promise I will.”
He leans forward, pressing a kiss to the palms of your hands still secured around his face, as he leans his own forehead against yours.
“Okay. Just, give it to me straight when…when I do stuff like this.”
“Okay. I hate it when you’re stupid as fuck and jump to conclusions. Like genuinely, it’s really irritating that I spent all of finals week sleeping in my bed alone when it was obscenely cold and you weren’t there. And you just had to assume shit when you didn’t-”
“Okay, I get it. Get to the good parts now.”
“Ego-maniac.”
“Cmon. I’m wounded here.” he states, holding his bruised hand up to you. You take it in yours, pressing a kiss to the red skin before continuing.
“I like when you talk to me. And when we get to keep moving forward, past this type of stuff. It’s like…the best part of a story. You get to see the conflict be resolved and then keep going.”
He smiles hard, nodding at your words.
“You have to kiss me.” he states.
“Why?”
“I’m going to pretend I’m not offended by that heinous look on your face at the thought of kissing me. But, mistletoe.”
You look up, to find a set of tiny Christmas lights with little embellishments in them, one of which is mistletoe.
“That doesn’t count.”
“Yes, it does.”
“That’s not real mistletoe.”
He pouts, rolling his eyes at you.
“Fine. Don’t kiss me then.”
You wrap your hand around his wrist, yanking him down by the tie to press a kiss to his soft, warm lips. They’re enough to warm up your frozen, nearly frostbitten blue ones, as he shakes his arms around your waist, pulling you closer and smiling into the kiss.
And you take solace in the fact that at least for that night, the conflict is over. And the story continues.

yall please help. I'm trying to find a klance comic but i can't think of the name. Lance and Keith are trapped together on an ice planet (i think) and theyre stuck together for weeks. and they sort of start a relationship in that time but nothing is defined cos theyre useless. then they get rescued and cue several chapters of them being awkward and oblivious till they sort their shit. also lances hair grows out on the planet but he cuts it once theyre rescued.

Planet Personifications - Info Sheets
you may or may not have seen these guys floating around on here, but these fellas are my planet personifications! ive been meaning to post these for a while now (made sol’s sheet nearly a year ago lmao), but here they are!
i’ve always had a passion for astronomy, and combining it with my passion for character design lead to me making these guys a few years ago. i tend to focus more on what we’ve observed about these planets when figuring out their design and personality, which is always very fun for me hehehe.
if yall have any questions regarding these guys, feel free to ask! i may not get to it right away (my inbox is a mess yikes’’’) but i dunno i love these fellas so much asgdhahsd
(text on each sheet under read more)
Sol (the sun) [he/him - bi - 7′8″]: About as happy and "sunny" as you'd expect! He's the "leader" of the solar system and loves each and every one of his planets!
Mercury [he/him - gay - 5′3″]: The aloof first planet. He's a lot more talkative than you'd expect, able to hold convos that go on for hours. Has been through a lot but still living strong!
Venus [she/her - bi - 5′7″]: The explosive and derisive 2nd planet. Her acid skies and fiery temperatures leaves her always itching for a bit of destruction.
Earth (terra) [they/them - nb&bi - 5′7″]: Home sweet home! They're the solar system's sweetheart, arguably being it's most powerful planet. May or may not be the main character of reality.
Mars [he/him - bi - 5′5″]: The first planet after the ice line, Mars is very anxious, kinda depressed, and always ready for a bit of vandalism. Probably the most introverted extrovert you'll ever meet.
Jupiter [he/him - bi - 6′6″]: The largest planet in the solar system. He's a gentle-giant-in-training who's trying to atone for his past. His distinguished appearance poorly hides a friendly and silly soul.
Saturn [he/him - trans&bi - 6′4″]: The least dense of the planets. Generally the voice of reason among the planets, even if he seems somewhat self-absorbed. High standards for himself, but more for giving for others.
Uranus [he/him - bi - 6′1″]: Permanently on his side from a collision in his youth, Uranus has a sideways view of the world that tends to distance him from the other planets. It doesn't help he also has trouble feeling and expressing emotions.
Neptune [he/him - trans&gay - 6′1″]: The farthest planet in the solar system. Neptune is an anxious, emotional crybaby who has trouble calming down, and will often argue with people for hours on end. Good thing he has Uranus around to keep him in check.
Pluto [he/him - nb&ace - 5′0″]: The largest of the dwarf planets! Pluto has a very large and loud personality that makes up for his small size. Often left out of things, he will try to make his mark by any means necessary.

please lmk if I forgot something!! Word Count: 1.5k
Summary: Din was a mandalorian damn it, he was supposed to protect you.
The crash was not one either of you had expected. Always the steady pilot, Din never expected to crash, not even when the weather of this particular planet was practically unnavigable because of the snow. The wind blew and rocked you both like a church bell, swinging you into the sounds of mourning. You were the first one to fall. Never being one to sit still, your seatbelt was off, and you practically slammed into the side of the crest as Din tried to land safely.
Trying is never enough in hindsight. The impact from the wreck is dire, Din’s hands in a steel grip, trying to steer the ship in any direction, your body laying there under parts of wiring and crates that came undone, the ship sinking into the ice below you.
Din rips his belt off, his armor mangled somewhere in the mess. His first, no, his only priority is you. And the way you looked made his heart drop into the pit of his stomach. Weak. The only word he could find for you was weak. Metal from the ship had given you a sickening cut along your abdomen, blood soaking your shirt as you gazed at him with big frightened eyes. He rips off his cowl, moving to you in a millisecond and trying to put pressure on the wound. You hear him whispering soft praises and empty promises of you being okay into your ears, and despite it all, you know. You know he can’t save you from this, that he hasn't felt the blood trickling down the back of your head down your neck.
You try to whisper to him that it was okay, that he was hurt and cold, that he needed to take care of himself too, but he was stubborn. He was supposed to keep you safe. To protect you, so damn it, that is what he was going to do.
You manage to reach a weak hand out to cup his face, your soft hands so cold. So cold he swears they would freeze around his face, but despite that your touch is somehow as soft and gentle as it’s ever been. You can feel his tears hitting your palm, your thumb rubbing softly over his cheek, the stubble a familiar cherished feeling in your hand. You’re telling him it would be okay, that he’ll be fine, still attempting to soothe him despite how weak you sound. You stay like that for what feels like eons, your voice getting quieter, and your touch growing softer with every passing moment until they stop.
The ship is eerily silent, and it makes Din panic. He was used to silence before he met you. He was content only having his thoughts, but that changed with you. You were loud and talkative and suddenly, he felt himself opening up. He was sharing things he had never shared with anyone, telling you things about his childhood. Was he supposed to be glad to survive this? To be thankful that he had somehow managed to outlive another loved one? He was holding you in his arms like you were a child, cradling you as if that would block anything that could hurt you. Your breathing was shallow and labored and your heart was racing like the wings of a hummingbird. Din wanted to take that little bird and keep it locked in a cage, safe from the pain and hurt he had managed to put you in, keep you far away from him.
And as sudden as the crash itself, the flutter of those wings stopped, and you went limp in his grasp. Despite the hollow look on your face, you looked peaceful, as if this was the only way you were freed of the suffering you had been put through. Time stills for a moment. Bile rises in his throat when he feels you slump in his arms. His hands are freezing and shaky as he cups your face, begging. Pleading for you to open your eyes.
God those eyes that he loves so much. The warmth in them that might have been able to melt the snow surrounding him. The teasing glint that came out anytime he said something that made you laugh. The absolute love that he could see in them. The love that he was never going to be able to see again. Din feels his heart pounding in his chest, hammering away like the armorer, and his memory floods with the first time he took his helmet off in front of you.
“You are my new creed” he had said, words spoken like a man finding god. His hands were holding yours, shaky and gentle. “Nobody else, nothing else, matters to me anymore. Not when I have you” Your eyes hadn’t met his for a few seconds. Almost too scared, as if he would disappear as soon as you laid eyes on him. And your beloved Din, always so soft and gentle with you, just tilted your chin up, his calloused hands a stark contrast to your soft skin. You both stood there, frozen in each other's eyes, neither of you daring to look away. Melting each other, committing the other to memory, becoming one.
Din replays the memory in his mind until it hurts him physically. He was still holding your body, limp and colder than it should have ever been. You hated the cold. Teased him for how uncomfortable it was to walk next to him in the armor. You deserved to be warm, to stay soft, like you had done for him. How many times had you reminded Din that he needed to eat more than a ration pack? How many times had you taken a blanket and wrapped it around him when he fell asleep in the pilot’s chair? How many times had Din deserved that kind of treatment?
How could he have deserved you? Especially now, when he had done this, allowed this to happen to you. How was he meant to go on, to persist without the one thing that was truly good in his life?
He stands on quivering limbs, the temperature setting in, his joints stiff, and picks your body up with a silent sob. He moves you to the bunk and tucks you in. Fixes your hair how you liked it, and wipes the remnants of the tears from your cheeks. If he could do nothing else, he would make you comfortable, he owed you that. You lay there, and for a moment Din is half expecting you to stretch your body out and wake up. Wipe your tired eyes, give him a groggy smile, and whisper good morning, like you always did.
You don’t.
You lay there, pale and unmoving, and so heart-wrenchingly cold. No matter how many blankets he would manage to put on top of you, he can't warm you up. Not how you were supposed to be, not how he wished it. Din finds himself curled up by your feet, the freezing floor of the razor crest biting into his knees, but he can't feel it. All he could feel was the ache in his chest from losing you. He wished there was a way to seek your forgiveness for this, a way for him to beg for absolution, to seek salvation in your arms again. And yet he knew there wasn't. That he was damned. Damned with the sins of what he did to you, of the burdens he should have bore instead of you. He was shaking now, the cold that seeped into his body finally making its presence known as he sat with himself. He had stopped shivering at some point, so cold he felt almost overheated. His shirt was thrown off somewhere, the coolness of the air biting into him so much that his skin was practically blue. He was too warm for his liking, something you would have relentlessly teased him for before. He swears for a moment that he can hear the golden tune of your laughter, the melody of his heart ringing in his ears.
It was calling to him, he was certain of it. Certain that there was a place for the two of you, that in just a moment you would follow after him off of the ship and run into his arms. A smile graces his lips at the thought, his feet dragging himself up and over to the walkway, pressing the button and stumbling down on wobbling feet. The snow is no longer in front of him, replaced with a patch of green. A garden, your garden, the one you both had always dreamt of. He breathes in the air and lets his eyes close as he feels the all too familiar feeling of your hand on his shoulder. He steps down the ramp and his feet sink, the crunch of his body hitting the snow falling on vacant ears.
He was forgiven.

for the anon earlier. some random pnf headcanons 💯 i might have talked about some of these before but i'll take any chance to talk about stuff i like
i've DEFINITELY talked about this one before but as adults phineas and isabella are divorced besties with a son. they love each other soooo much but the romance part just didn't really work.
yall also already know i hc jeremy as bi but i find it worth mentioning because it was one of my first lgbt headcanons EVER after i figured out i could do that. buford and baljeet were probably first.
eliza and nicolette are endgame. do you see my vision
it doesn't matter to the show whatsoever but i do have ideas for what happened to mr flynn and mrs fletcher. in my timeline mr flynn was abusive and linda left him when she was pregnant with phineas, and mrs fletcher died at some point. idk how. ferb was too young to remember her. i have not worked out how close she and lawrence were but she had green hair
phineas and ferb cure multiple cancers in 10th grade and make the patents open-source
one of my early internet friends turned the drummer in jeremy's band into an oc named hugo.... he was in a situationship with jenny that lasted well past their 30s
speaking of jenny i think she and django disappeared for a bit because their rich artist dad took them to. like. greece or something. for the remainder of the summer and theyre just living their best life on a veranda on the other side of the planet until the school year starts
phineas, ferb, and baljeet COULD graduate VERY early but they purposely stay in the same grade as their friends because they love them. once the acts/sats/ap exams come around though its over for you hoes.
candace and stacy went to horse camp (a week long program during the summer teaching kids to ride horses) every summer until high school. at which point they decided it was For Babies. but they're both still horse girls deep down.
since we know that jeremy has liked candace longer than she's liked him, i think he was a really shy kid. he was too nervous to even look at her some days. when she gave him that pencil that one time, he didn't even say anything. he broke out of his shell later and became a friendly young man but candace still made him nervous. etc etc.
xavier and fred are movie buffs. they're usually logging one film per day. if letterboxd still exists on the future their profiles would be legendary.
jeremy picked the name fred. he was fine with candace already having names picked out, but once they found out they were having twins, she texted him a link to a baby name website and told him to pick his favorite. He picked Fred.
jeremy has written an entire album about candace and its all shit that sounds like Chasing Cars and candace LOVES IT
stacy interning at owca is how she meets her girlfriend vanessa and also how she meets her future wife in uruguay
buford and isabella have ice cream romcom sleepovers and nobody else is invited this is THEIR bonding time
IN MY TIMELINE JEREMY AND COLTRANE WERE AT THE ROBOT RIOT IN THE ORANGE TREEHOUSE ROBOT WHILE CANDACE AND STACY WERE IN THE PINK ONE. #COPING
sometimes the flynn fletcher kids would spend entire days at the antique shop before candace was old enough to watch the boys
this isn't really a headcanon but i want to see some isabella and jeremy bro moments. Because of In love with #TwoCrazyRedheads
Thats the only ones i can think of right now. My hands are shaking

The Outer Archives
Spoilers ahead for all of The Outer Wilds, all of Echos of The Eye DLC, and all of The Magnus Archives
So played outer wilds a couple years back, and its remained as my favorite game of all time, so I got to thinking recently, which locations in outer wilds can be mapped onto different fears from The Magnus Archives which i also loved! (Not as much as outer wilds but not really a fair comparison-) So today I got to work and made this:
First obvious thing before I go into my reasoning's for each is Timber Hearth is clearly missing, thats just cause I could not think of a link to any of the fears, it really is just a chill place- Anyway my reasoning's (some are obvious but bear with me) The Sun: Represents the end, I thought about maybe The Extinction, but thats more the end of humanity with everything else carrying on, the sun I think perfectly represents the end cause it's supernovae-ing alongside the rest of the universe, everything is ending and the sun serves as a manifestation of that. The Ember Twin: All those little cramped caves systems slowly filling up with sand that you can get buried and crushed in The Ash Twin: It's the centre of the whole loop, its the ash twin project after all, everything that happens in the game can be attributed to the ash twin project, something out of your control till the end that youre stuck in The Attlerock: Esker..... Its a tiny moon thats easy to miss, with the character who in game is forgotten about a lot by the rest of the Hearthians, a quiet space for them to be alone and forgotten Brittle Hollow and Hollow's Lantern: The whole thing is slowly falling apart and being destroyed, catalysed by the big fire rocks from Hollow's Lantern being chucked at it, Represents collapse and destruction Giant's Deep: Big water planet, open space, tornados that can throw you from a vast ocean planet, into the infinite reaches of space. The depths that Gabbro swears they say a sea monster in, very vast. Dark Bramble: I can see how people could think of The Dark for this, the anglerfish being blind and hidden out of sight, but I think corruption fits better for the "planet" itself, it wasnt always Dark Bramble after all, it was once an ice planet that dark bramble corrupted and grew on until it took over its host, shattering it. The Interloper: The cause of the slaughter of this games Nomai clan, senseless destruction and killing just by chance (The Trickster from Doctor Who/SJA would have a field day with this) The Quantum Moon: Constantly changing from what you expect it to be and what it should look like. It's surface is different depending on what planet it orbits, and everything on it moves around, the world is not right, its the spiral The Stranger (EOTE): Not because they are named the same, thats just an amazing coincidence. The whole thing is unknown, no one you know has been there, all has an air of unease and creepiness to it, the burnt out reels destroying/changing information, the whole time I was there, despite the peaceful river (until...y'know-) and calm vibes, under the surface theres something just not quite right Eye of the Universe: Again, not because of the name, another great coincidence, or i guess not really a coincidence. The eye sees everything and constantly outputs a signal calling people to it, it rebuilds a new world based on the experiences of the hatchling, what the hatchling has seen. Just like the eye in the magnus archives, it takes all the experiences of the main character (Hatchling/Jon) and makes something new built upon them (New universe/The apocalypse). Love to hear peoples thoughts and where they would place things differently (especially if yall have an idea as for Timber Hearth-)
