👋👋 It’s been a minute!!!! I have a no-stress silly question for Bjalla and/or Dusk (depending on if you had ideas for either of em yknow •u•)

If they got sent to an ice cream parlor, assuming money wasn’t an issue and they had a wide variety of toppings and flavors, what would they end up getting?

For Dusks sake I’m sure they even have blood ice cream. Not that he needs it. That would be absurd.

My first instinct reading this question was 'whatever Dusk gets, he eats it with a spoon.' Why? Because I have seen my husband, who has a beard, eat ice cream. Cones appear to be a messy nightmare for him. And Dusk does nnnnnnot like to be messy when he eats. Bjalla ain't give a damn, though, he is more of the attitude that this is why napkins exist.

I think Dusk mostly sticks to vanilla ice cream, but he would possibly be overwhelmed trying to pick a topping, especially if there's stuff he's never had before to put on it and he doesn't know if he'd like it or not. I'm sure someone would recommend he try a blood currant topping at some point, and he would, just to skip the trying to decide what to pick part. :P

Bjalla, on the other hand, I think he'd probably as for a sample of a flavor he's never had before in this mythical parlor with Every Flavor, because he does like trying new things! And then he'd get coffee ice cream on a sugar cone, because it's his favorite and he's not going to let an opportunity to eat it go by.

a quiet breath is sucked between the crevices in her clenched teeth , and a sense of shock plummets from her chest to her stomach ; she's suddenly nauseous . her anger turns to haughty silence and shaking fingers , like she's afraid of the feeling , like she's afraid of herself . wordlessness overtakes her and she looks to her sister in disbelief , as if she's been betrayed by her only family left , because that is how she feels . some part of her wants to keep fighting , and she urges herself on , despite her innate reaction to disappear into the aether .

fighting now is better than being left alone .

❛ i'm awake , lightning ! ❜ she turns toward her quickly , pleading like she's trying to convince her of the truth . she's been awake . far too awake , aware , suffering sleepless nights and infinite tears born of grief and loneliness . she has nothing anymore ; her sister breathes but she doesn't feel like her family , and the guilt for feeling that way eats at her .

why can't she see her suffering ? why can't she pretend to care ? she wants a hug , craves affection . she's grown weary of harsh words and cold shoulders . ❛ i know . . . it'll never be the same . ❜ shattered truths bring tears back to the corners of her eyes and she closes them so that her sadness might not escape .

❛ but , maybe . . . if we spent more time together . . . ❜ things might be a little easier .

yes. she was. it was one of the tough calls that needed to be made. still, her voice softens as she turns just enough to glance over her shoulder, not quite looking at her sister. " i am, yeah. someone's gotta pay the bills, serah. this is the real world now. it's time to wake up. "

“What do you think of this one?” Elsa asked.

Anna rolled her eyes. “Elsa, I think you’re spending entirely too much time worrying about which swimsuit to wear when we all know you’ll barely be wearing it at all.”

The queen huffed. “Anna...”

“Hey, it’s true.” Anna glanced back at Claire. “Back me up here.”

“I seem to recall a certain somebody planning which swimsuit to wear quite extensively,” Claire drawled as she cast a brief glance at Elsa before returning her attention to her weapon. A sword-bow was a great weapon, but it required careful maintenance. If it jammed halfway, she’d be left with something that was neither a sword nor a bow. Instead, it would be a wonky sort of club. “Or did you think I hadn’t noticed?”

Anna blushed. “This and that are completely different.”

“In what way?” Claire asked.

“Because you’re not going to do that thing.”

Claire raised an eyebrow. “What thing?”

“You know, that thing Averia does where she kind of just looks at Elsa likes she wants to drag her off and do all sorts of utterly depraved things to her.”

“Ah.” Claire nodded sagely and then looked at Anna. “You mean this thing?”

“...” Anna’s face went red, and whatever she was going to say seemed to have fled her mind.

“Oh my.” Elsa found herself blushing as well. “I... uh... I think I’ll leave you two alone right now.”

“For the record,” Claire said as Elsa hurried for the door. “It’s more of a Farron thing that an Averia thing.”

Outside, Elsa studiously ignored the sound of Anna practically tackling Claire. However, she’d barely gotten half a step before she felt familiar arms wrap around her.

“The third one,” Averia whispered into Elsa’s ear. “I think the third one you tried will look absolutely gorgeous on you and on the floor when we’re alone.”

“...” Elsa swallowed thickly and managed to turn her head.

Averia was giving her the look.

“You were watching?” Elsa shuddered. “Were you using Saviour to watch us through the walls?”

“I thought you liked it when I watch you,” Averia replied. “Am I wrong?”

Elsa’s skin flushed again. “No...”

“Good.” Averia let go of her. “I have a meeting to go to.”

Elsa blinked. “What...?”

“I have a meeting to go to.” Averia gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. “I’ll see you this evening.” She lowered her voice. “Although the third one looks the best, I wouldn’t mind a private showing of the others too.”

Already passed Fire and Ice chapter in FFXVI.. i gotta say, Jill Warrick is definitely the best heroine ever written in the FF series, besides Lightning Farron.. She gives me the Jeanne D Arc vibe thats for sure.

i think tifa lockhart and lightning farron should hang out so they can discuss the deep unabiding rage they both live with and have to deal with in healthy ways because they want to be helpful and kind and supportive and letting their anger consume them will result in the opposite of the things they want

by this i mean they should take a kickboxing class together, perhaps actually spar, and then have long and deep conversations while icing their muscles to prevent soreness

8. What are your 3 favourite areas and why?

Okay so in no particular order:

Castle Cainhurst (Bloodborne): I don’t even know if I have to explain tbh it’s a super cool dilapidated vampire castle covered in snow. The lore surrounding it is really interesting as well, as are the enemy types. Also ice pop grandpa is pretty cool 👍

Irithyll of the Boreal Valley (DS3): It has this really uneasy feeling attached to it. The Sulyvahn’s Beast that attacks you on the bridge is ofc the first sign that something isn’t right but the emptiness of it is so unsettling. Until you bump into the knights and get murdered (rite of passage). The lore, once again, is impeccable, and the architecture is magnificent. Furthermore, the little ghosts of the Irithyll people are super eerie but also tragic :’)

Prison Town (Elden Ring): This was a difficult choice because I love the Haligtree aesthetics (hate it’s enemies) but I had to choose PT because I enjoy mostly everything about it. The Godskin Noble is a bit annoying as a boss but they’re easy dealt with with a bit of patience! The view of a literal town semi-submerged in lava is amazing. Rykard, you are a genius. A terrifying one, though.

16. Who is the most underrated NPC in your opinion?

I think everyone in BB gets a decent amount of attention bc there’s like 10 NPCs so I’m gonna have to say Irina from DS3. Her and Eygon’s dynamic is really interesting and I really want to know what she did to get sent there. Of course there’s the firekeeper thing but Eygon seems really perturbed about coming here and insults her specifically. Also she’s just super nice. I can never bring myself to learn the dark incants from her bc it upsets her </3 Also the braille makes her happy.

29. What are your 3 favourite non-boss enemies? (behave)

3) Second Generation Albinaurics (Elden Ring) - my silly little guys

DS3 had the best enemy selection honestly

Do I enjoy fighting most of these? No, because they are evil and destroy me. Are they cool? Absolutely.

35. What ingame faction would you belong to?

Bloodborne: I’d love to be an Workshop Hunter. I feel like you have a great selection of weapons to choose from, the armour is stylish and you’ve got some of the strongest hunters to support you. Realistically though probably the Choir (I am too asthmatic).

Dark Souls: The DS world absolutely terrifies me so I’d hate to be in any of the covenants but if I had to choose I’d probably say the Watchdogs of Farron. I wanna make the dead dog happy :( (also they’re basically DS1 forest hunters. kinda sucks that we don’t get the flip ring though)

"What is your favorite boss gameplay-wise?"

This one is extremely difficult to decide on, because there are so many I like! I am cheating and giving several answers, sorry:

Ludwig, Malenia, Gael, Nameless King, Maria, Midir, Friede

5. "What are your top 3 weapons and why?"

Moonlight Greatsword, because every version looks great and plays enjoyably to me. In the games where you can adjust your build, I usually end up switching from a quality build to an int build later on, because I enjoy it so much.

Ludwig's Holy Blade, because you can PUT MORE SWORD ON YOUR SWORD. The Tsubasa Kazanari of weapons.

Moonveil, because it's like the katana version of the moonlight greatsword and is just extremely fun. I know some people think it's a basic choice because of how early you can get it if you're using a guide, but I still enjoy it.

Honorable mentions

-The Black Knight Sword, because I had one drop very early in Dark Souls 1, the first fromsoft game I played, and I ended using it for pretty much my entire first playthrough. It also returns in 2 and 3, and in 3 it was also my main weapon for almost everything.

-Malenia's Katana, because it's extremely cool that you can use the bonus boss' weapon AND their most powerful move with it.

-Threaded Cane, because I started with it and used it for most of my first Bloodborne playthrough, and its whip form reminds me of Airgetlam.

-Friede's Ice Scythes and The Burial Blade, because scythe go swish swish, dess.

14. "Who is the most underrated boss in your opinion?"

Bed of Chaos.

Just kidding, I can't really think of a boss that people hate but I really like. I don't really see people talk about Martyr Logarius much, and I think his fight is extremely good! Also maybe Rennala from Elden Ring? I'm not sure what opinions are on her fight.

Maiden Astraea (the original, not the missing the point remix from the demon's souls PS5 remake)

I've played all of them (including DLC) except for Sekiro, and platinumed/100%'d them (twice for some games because I did it over again for Scholar, Remaster, and PS5 Remake). I have Sekiro but keep getting distracted from actually starting it. I'm not going to give an explanation for why I feel the way I do about each game because it would make this post untenably long. I'm happy to explain in a follow up if anyone has a burning desire to know why I placed one in a certain rank. I enjoy all of them a lot though!
