Slips a little bunny-shaped clip, complete with bright red ribbons, into Emu's hair. It's not clear whether he crafted it or not, but he seems rather pleased with himself regardless.

It's by reflex she reaches for it; hand touching where his had just been, a shape of something and soft fabric on her fingertips, neatly attached to hair that was all over the place. Hmmm??? She spins around, searching for a reflection, window, anything (the idea that she could simply bring out her phone lost at her in the moment). Hmmm!!! Leaning close to a store's window she tilts her head to the side and squints her eyes, trying to find the angle that allows her to see the object, and once she does, she gasps:

"Uwaaahh!!! It's a little bunny♪",

louder than her usual tone (which already was considered loud!) and with her bright smile returned, eyes sparkling while she admires the gift a little bit longer. "It's so cute! And pretty! Hehe, I loooove it☆" didn't the red sort of match her new outfit? Ooh, she could use it together with it, a cute little animal was bound to make people smile! For a second time she spins around, "THANK-YOU-WONDERHOY!!", and with determination crashes into the poor man.

{ Prince Tsukasa has been missing for over a week. Even Tsukasa's knight couldn't be found anywhere. There was panic throughout the kingdom as the king and queen desperately send out search parties to find their missing son. }

{ The prince's little sister is no exception. Saki has been scared and worried for her brother ever since he mysteriously just vanished suddenly along with his knight. No one knows where he could have possibly gone and she's stuck in her bedroom in one of the royal castle's towers unable to do anything }

{ Saki stares out through her window, tears falling down her face. It was late at night and no one would see her cry... or so she thinks }

...?

{ She notices something glowing in the distance and her eyes widen. She recognizes it as a shooting star and her eyes sparkle in amazement. Quickly she wipes her tears and closes her eyes to make a wish }

i wish... for tsukasa to get home safely. i want my brother back...

[In the night sky, Emu flies with ease. She could never get sick of flying under the stars. She glows brightly, giggling to herself... that is, until she hears a cry.]

[It's a sad cry. That simply won't do. She begins heading towards the source of the sound, finding herself flying to the castle. There are those who would've trembled in fear at the thought of getting anywhere near the castle, but not Emu. She's bold.]

[Finally, Emu reaches the window, seeing what appears to be a girl with blonde hair. Time to put a smile on that face.]

I had a coffee for the first time while actively on my (stimulant) meds today and I was shaking and my vision was blurry and it felt like there was if in my brain or it was in a blender or my brain was shaking

I’m all good now but yeah, the pharmacist said it would be safe lol but I won’t be doing that again

My pulse was really fast too. I’m still feeling a little weird but yeah I’m anyway basically today I learned my meds + caffeine don’t mix

as a witness i can confirm that tsukasa did put the back of his hand to his forehead and went wooosh woooosh! like a victorian woman!

But because I was selfish and said “I want to do a show,” everyone… lost their smiles…

Tsukasa should've known better than to drop his guard when he was alone. Even without the presence of his unpredictable troupe, it was only a matter of time before their chaos found its way back to him. And this chaos, often times, came in the form of a hyperenergetic pink - haired gymnast full of parocosms and odd expressions he couldn't translate. Simply because he wasn't at work didn't mean she couldn't make an appearance at any time without warning.

But, it was a rule of thumb Tsukasa had forgotten. He had felt too safe in his time spent running errands -- first to the grocery store, then the pharmacy, and now to check in on the art store for supplies. At no point had he designs for meeting his troupe, let alone Emu. However, he should've known from experience that a lack of design didn't preclude the chance from happening anyway -- and he was forcibly reminded of that reality when a high shrill and a hard impact came from behind.

" GWAH -- ! " Tsukasa barely corrected himself from toppling over, balancing on a single leg and waving his arms around wildly for control. The collar of his shirt choked at his neck, not enough to restrict his breathing but enough to feel the cut in his airways. He righted himself from the frenzy, grabbing on to Emu's legs. However, that didn't seem to dissipate the discomfort now reaching into his neck.

" LET . . . GO . . . EMU . . . " He choked out, trying to move her hands, " YOU'RE PULLING . . . MY COLLAR . . . AGH! " 

where did she even come from?!

By the time he even registered her voice, he was already getting blindsided by the force of her body up against his back. Maybe if he had been paying more attention, he might've reacted more accordingly.

" HARD . . . TO BREATHE . . . "

why did I make this one subspecies so weird. Not enough I have to draw four wings in addition to claws, but I gotta connect the wings to each other and now there’s six of them cause this species partially split off a third set of wings?
