also. i think the 456 were bluffing. sure, they possessed all the children on the planet. sure, they filled the building full of poisonous gas. but 1) we've already established in doctor who canon that hypnotism and blood magic and whatnot exist. if the 456 actually controlled the children they would just make them walk to their teleport stations. and 2) they filled the building--which they were already in--with deadly gas. clearly they had planned this out before. i'm not impressed. fill a random building halfway across the planet with gas and THEN i'll be worried. finally 3) if they require this special cage of fumes or whatever to exist on earth's surface, then all we have to do is NOT PROVIDE THOSE CHEMICAL GASES and it'll be fine.

shower thought won't leave me alone: gwen getting.... possessive about the rest of the team after jack comes back. she was a leader who was honest with them and she had to put them all back together when they broke apart in his absence and they're hers now, she can take care of them better than he ever did, and especially being defensive of ianto and wary of jack stepping back into a relationship with him. that's her little brother and if jack breaks his heart she'll break his legs. listen idk either but now it's in my brain
