“We’ll make it back together, Henri. Me and you, I promise,” I say, and close my eyes.

“Be strong,” he says, and is overtaken by slight coughs, though he tries to speak through them. “This war…Can win…Find the others…. Six…. The power of…,” he says, and trails off.

I try to stand with him in my arms but I have nothing left, hardly enough strength to even breathe. Off in the distance I hear the beast roar. Cannons are still being fired, the sounds and lights of which reach out over the stadium bleachers, but as each minute passes less and less of them are being fired until there is only one. I lower Henri in my arms. I place my hand to the side of his face and he opens his eyes and looks at me for what I know will be the final time. He takes a weak breath and exhales and then slowly closes his eyes.

“I wouldn’t have missed a second of it, kiddo. Not for all of Lorien. Not for the whole damn world,” he says, and when that last word leaves his mouth I know that he is gone. I squeeze him in my arms, shaking, crying, despair and hopelessness taking hold. His hand drops lifelessly to the grass. I cup his head in my hand and hold it close to my chest, and I rock him back and forth and I cry like I’ve never cried before.

redid an old artwork. i was supposed to finish this last year, but work took over my time, but i found time to “finish” this sketch today. this scene right here was what sealed the deal for me in finishing this series. no regrets. i do hope they make it into a series one day...there’s still hope!

@friedgothnuggets told me that the fandom is dying (lorien legacies) I just to say that people should stick around at least till the next series (he's going to make one) pitaccus lore has gotten more creative with powers in resent books so the next series could be awsome if done right

The fanbase is gone . There are dozens of story line's in each book meaning it switches from one characters POV to another you forgot about my dad was reading them when he was a teenager and he just gave up. THE ORIGINAL AUTHORS DEAD

Look this should be the last LL series but it should be a brilliant finale and if it's not .... then you can leave

This is how I imagine Nigel whenever I’m reading the book, I know that he has a mowhawk but whenever I’m reading the books I can only imagine as like dry and hanging at the side other then in the concert part in fugitive six, I also tend to visually see his audiokinesis even though it’s said to not be a visible thing but idk. I was wondering how other people saw Nigel or any of the other characters but I couldn’t find any fan art (the fandom is smaller then I anticipated) and I got really sad so I decided that if anyone else was to ask that question, when they searched they’d find an answer as to how I see him when reading just to get an idea of what other people may think he looks like or how they personally see him

Book of the Week No. 4 I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore Rate: 9.5/10 Favorite Line: "A place is only as good as the people you know in it. It's the people that make the place." Review: Known as the first book of Lorien Legacies series, I Am Number Four is a young-adult sci-fi/fantasy novel published by HarperCollins in 2010. The story follows the 9 escapees of the eradicated Planet Lorien (ruined by Mogadorians), who all found Earth as their safe haven. It does not only starts and ends on that, there is much more to unpack on the over-all concept of this masterpiece! About the movie and the book, As of now (2021), there is no clear signal if there will be a sequel for the movie. Yet, the book series is actively running with another spin-off (I think, coz it was still authored with pen name; Pittacus Lore) entitled Ashfall Legacy published just this August 17, 2021. It has been a decade already and if I'd want to watch another one? I will gladly ask you to take my money for it! But unfortunately, years had passed and a sequel is nowhere in sight. Given that the books are in succession, the story for the movie is of significant potential. I will be waiting for a reboot! Haha It is your typical action-packed movie/book, blood-pumping enough for you to read for more. The never ending battle: The book always stands out! The book was a quick read and is comprised of more science fiction details than the movie counterpart. The characters also have a bigger scope of their powers. Especially at the first few chapters of the book, the history of Loric people is explored further throughout. Pittacus Lore is the fictional author of this book and his dedication and love for his invaded home planet is evident. It gradually builds much of the interest for reading and it urges the reader to invest more time with the book. aaaaaaaaaaaand I’m back! I’m pretty sure a lot has moved on from this book series. 

BUT I HAVEN’T. haha. Lorien Legacies will always have a special place in my heart. It pushed me to draw and it’s how my friendship with my girlfriend/future wife started. haha. I’ll be doing more of these but no more turnarounds. I want to focus more on the storytelling aspects.
