I just finished rereading the Lorien Legacies and Lorien Legacies Reborn books and decided to draw the Garde. I might scan this into my computer to color it, but I haven't decided yet.

I think that she could tell them a lot, but also couldn't because she was such a loner. Like, in her novella she completely forgot about the huge celebration that every loric looks forward to.

The garde: Lexa! What was culture like on Lorien?

Lexa: Fuck if I know.

I was so excited when they revealed GUARD/Lexa was Loric, because I just wanted her to be the Garde's sorta connection to Lorien. She knows what life was like over there, remembers how Lorien looked better than any of them, still knows the culture and traditions and common names and language and all that. I just wanted them to sit around in a circle and listen to her telling them about what it was like in there, what their lives could've been like, give them one last image of their origin.

I get their Cepans couldn't do it, mostly because the main reasons their memories were erased was to make it easier for them, but with the war over, I just really want them to reflect on what Lorien was like, especially now that have New Lorien. Maybe small stories that reflect Loric people's lives and history and definitely mention some Loric names (and then they all go: Who knows, maybe that would've been my name if I was there).

Two and Three for @new-lorien-artist ! I like their freckles :) The thought behind Hannu's teeth is that probably none of them saw any health professionals, much less a dentist or orthodontist so their teeth are a little janky

Plus the shittest sneak peak ever at the next big thing I wanna work on: Sam, Six, John, and Nine movie night

Identity of Devdan

Devdan is an integral character in Number Eight's backstory as after the death of his Cepan, he acted as a mentor to Eight. Devdan is described as 'spiritual man' by Eight and was able to recognize Eight after initially meeting him in the form of a rabbit.

Devdan taught Eight about Hinduism and inspired his future Vishnu disguise and his forms as well as trained him in Indian Martial Arts - not only that, he guided him in using his Legacies. According to Eight, Devdan never returned to their usual meeting spot and it's assumed he was killed by the Mogadorians.

Now most people assumed that Devdan was Pittacus in disguise but Pittacus was confirmed dead by Malcolm as he died in his garage shortly before the Garde and their Cepan arrived on Earth and his skeleton is still there to prove it. My theory is that Devdan is a Demi-Loric and the son or descendant of the Oracle - a female Garde with especially strong precognitive abilities and the creator of the paintings in the Himalayan Cave.

I believe this because the Oracle secluded herself within the Loric Cave in the Himalayas which isn't far from where Eight grew up in India. This would explain Devdan's knowledge on Legacies and how he was able to recognize Eight as if the Oracle was his mother she could've foresaw their meeting.

TLDR - Devdan wasn't Pittacus and instead was a Demi-Loric son/descendant of the Oracle

i think it would be a lot easier to examine the morality and effectiveness of setrákus' cause (spoiler alert: It's Bad), and the irl worldviews/rhetoric it's critiquing, if the books came out and acknowledged that the entity:

a) is working from the exact same fundamental principles, just glowier and prettier and has Nicer Neighborhoods about it, and ultimately gets away with it, and

b) in its own right is just plain fucking evil
