Being neurodivergent is unbelievably hard. Why do we have to follow some stupid rules while talking? Why do I have to make eye contant or else I am not respectful? Why do I have to make the right expression on my face? Can't I just say how I feel and what I need? Why am I weird if I am not following the right social cues that are wildly different from person to person? Why am I weird for staying silent? I don't want to waste my time on neurotypical people if I get judged for everything I do.

Oh my god and don't even think about telling neurodivergent people you are autistic. Everytime I get treated like I am 5 years old or an infected animal as soon as I make that mistake. I want someone to accept me. I want people not to laugh at my expense. I want to be understood. I want to finally feel like I am enough. Like I'm not a burden. I want to be myself but its so hard.

Why Did I Make Sides in the First Place?

Well, first off, I explained in my first post. I have changed and I don't know myself anymore.

Also, my friends were arguing if I am more like Roman or Patton, I am creative, dramatic and one of the squooshiest feeling things on this planet. Or so they tell me.

I finally was like, hey, Sanders himself said that no one but his sides can be them. I don't fit inside either Patton or Roman because obviously, I am not Thomas. I am a person with more than one side or facet to me, exactly like everyone else. So I decided to make my own.

Well today seems to have put me in a bit of a bad mood. Not because I haven’t had a good day or anything of that sort just that there are certain things that are getting on my nerves today. One has to do with something I’ve seen on social media and the other is because my computer is super old.

So I’ll start first with what’s bothering me about my desktop computer. It’s seriously old (I think it’s like 7 or 8 years old or something) and because of this it takes forever to download anything or loud things sometimes. Currently I’m getting frustrated with the fact that I’m unable to play my Sims 4 game because it won’t update fast enough. It keeps getting to %100 updated then freezes or reverts to a lower percentage. This makes me get frustrated since it took hours before getting to that point so I cancel the update but it still won’t allow me to play the game until I finish the update so I have to start the update all over again. 😑 Just so annoying.

Now for the other thing that has gotten on my nerves today which has to do with something I’ve seen on social media. I’ve seen many things on the internet about transgender rights, the rights of women, the rights of the lgbtq 🏳️‍🌈 community and the like. This never really bothered me. I believe everyone deserves equal rights but it saddens me to see how some people can be so ignorant. The post that angered me had to do with how this girl felt shocked when she found out that someone she had a crush on was born a girl. She’s basically saying that she had a crush on a girl when she was younger when in my opinion she didn’t because that person never saw themselves as a girl. I feel that it’s regrettable for people to just dismiss this person’s true identity just because of what some documents say or what society deems is a person’s gender. I feel that it’s ridiculous. If you’ve felt that you’re a girl from the moment you were born (regardless of what the document says or what genitalia you are born with) than you are a girl and if you feel that you are a boy than that is what you are. I think that allowing society or a piece of paper define who you are as a person is just plain stupid. You have the right to be whoever you feel you are not what some paper or society deems as appropriate. It’s sad that in 2017 we’re still fighting over this when instead it should already be accepted to be whomever ever you choose to be. It’s just unfortunate that people choose to be bigots.

Anyways I apologize for how long this post has gotten. I just wanted to say that this isn’t an easy fight but I think that everyone has the right to be themselves and to those who think that anyone who stands with these people are going to hell; I’ll go gladly because I’d rather be with those who stand up for what’s right than with those who’d rather sit back on the pretence that they’ll be going to heaven.

People always tell me, "it's just asthma". There's no such thing as "just anything". This is a condition that people live with. This is a condition that I LIVE WITH. The only way you can imagine how it feels to be me, is to hold your nose and breathe entirely through a straw. Now see if you can do that for 30 seconds. THAT PANIC IS REAL. THAT STRUGGLE IS REAL. At least you can take the straw out of your mouth. I have VERY VERY SEVERE ASTHMA. So no, it's not just asthma. It's a life threatening condition that challenges my entire life. But I am still me. I am more than my condition. People with disabilities are more than just their condition. People with INVISIBLE DISABILITIES have valid struggles too. Just because you can't see their struggle, it doesn't mean they don't. I'm open about my condition. Because only through sharing my story can I help others like me who don't have a voice. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T HAVE A VOICE WHEN YOU CAN'T BREATHE. But I'm still capable of contributing positively to the world. I'm a valid person despite my disability. Please share my story.
